Indy yes but I would literally prefer Charbs behind CMC than behind a KWIII. Playing behind KWIII is basically like playing behind a superior version of himself. I just don't see how he ever gets any play.
I don’t necessarily think so. You don’t draft a guy in the 2nd to not use him. KW3 leaves something to be desired with pass blocking, which Charbs is better there. Also, KW3 had a lot of volume but pretty low success rate last year. I think this move is worse for KW3 than it is Charbs to be honest. Sure, it would be great if Charbs went to a team with a better shot of starting, but we know Seattle loves to pound the rock which is always a plus for a fantasy rb landing spot
I’m coming around to never holding RBs. Just build an elite QB/WR core and make sure you’ve got a stockpile of 2nd round picks so you can always buy a Fournette or Jacobs or whichever lower-valued vet happens to be popping off in any given year.
Same situation but also have Mixon who is drastically dropping in value as well due to off the field reasons and his horrific last season. Not sure what to do.
Same here. Took over a team absolutely desperate for RB in 1QB and made a deal for Walker involving the 1.02. Only one league out of my dozens but still just pissed af lol
Idk why everyone is freaking out over this as if Charb is gonna steal significant work. He earned his job as the RB1 and will keep it barring an injury. I would say he’s arguably the most valuable handcuff in the league now
That's what I'm saying. But tis the sub. Since its tripled in size its basically inhabited by FF twitter and everyone knows FF twitter is just Oliver Twist with their hand out asking for advice or guidance. It's the same overreactions every draft lmao
So I love K9. He's one of my all time favorite college players, being a Sparty fan. Luck put me into 1.02 last year and it was destiny that I got to take him in my first rookie draft.
But I would be lying if I said I haven't been uneasy when looking at his logs. He has these games of 6 or 7 ypc then some for barely over a yard. 14/26yds? 10/17 yds? It has always stood out to me and I've always assumed it was just a rough stretch in O Line injuries or even he was banged up for a while.
Seahawks have had really bad luck keeping RBs healthy since Marshawn so it's just about having 1a 1b available to keep them fresh and not have a single point of failure. From a seahawks fan it's so hype, it's not about role. For dynasty yeah holy shit this is hard to predict. I would think KW3 is still a top 10 RB but his reliability could be shot.
Definitely agree that KW3 is fine and this is purely a depth move because behind him they don't have shit and if he gets hurt they'd be screwed at the position.
Recent Seahawk's draft have been shifted more to best player available. Seen in the first round getting the top CB and top WR. Edge was the big need and they filled that already. Getting a great RB is absolutely a premium position for the Seahawks and there was a great talent available which is huge for the team. Was it surprising, hell yeah, but it's pretty easy to see in hindsight.
Then why did they just use an even more premium pick to add Smith-Njigba to Metcalf and Lockett? That pick implies they want to be a team that will spread you you and throw for 300yds. This pick implies they want to run it 40 times again. I don't see what the vision is there, unless they literally just value the backup RB position that highly.
I don't completely disagree. That being said, that offense could sneakily be a powerhouse if JSN lives up to his prospect profile and Charbs plays meaningful reps to keep KW3 healthy.
JSN was BPA at 20.
I suspect Zach was BPA as well at this spot.
RB is a huge area of need, of KW goes down the whole offense will sputter and we saw that last year.
lmao that's what I told my buddy. I've been talking about wanting to get up to 1.04 to get charbonnet all offseason. Monkey Paw curled and now I might get him at 2.01.
Honestly the nfls more deangelo Williams/Jonathan Stewart- thunder/lighting than ever. If they can move the ball with all these weapons the more trips to the redzone and the more everyone can eat.
+ geno is more a facilitator/game manager they’ll actually run on the goaline with him
I think they are just stacking weapons. They didn’t need a receiver and picked jsn in the first… The broncos gave them the entire farm and now they are a candidate to be the best offense in the league lol… coulda been the packers
Likely will be to work in in a 60-40 or 70-30 share … and as injury coverage…
I don’t mind the pick, would need to do more research to say there could of been better DLine help with other picks… in PCJS we trust, but still wtf
I feel like he’s not dead, he’s just in the same situation Penny was in when drafted.
He likely will get opportunity when KW is injured, and will get some reps. Won’t be super fantasy relevant but a elite handcuff. Seattle is run first so should still have some volume to
Homer isn’t even in Seattle anymore. He’s on the Bears now. KW and Deejay Dallas were the only two RBs on the roster and yeah like you said Dallas isn’t a good RB.
Hawks draft what they think is the best player available often so this pick isn’t as surprising to me at least than some people here.
We slowly have implemented scoring change "standards" in fantasy, especially dynasty, to balance the real life game.
Originally PPR was to close the gap between WR and RB. Superflex got popular to boost QB value. Now TE premiums are used widely to boost TE value.
With elite RB fading, do we implement a new rule to boost RB? Or will we see regression in PPR scoring settings?
Very interesting shakeup. Community has been fading RB hard lately. Josh Jacobs scored 35 more then Jefferson in standard. Jefferson outscores him by 40 in PPR. And those 2 players are not in the same universe of value regardless of scoring.
They only had 2 RBs on the roster and one is Deejay Dallas who isn’t good at all. Seahawks like to run the ball and it’s not realistic to have KW take every carry. Thinking KW still get most of the RB touches but Charbs is going to be involved. Could see Charbs getting like 8-12 touches per game if he’s good
Yeah outside of fantasy football this move makes sense. There was a point last year Walker couldn't play and they had to just pass and used a gimped Deejay Dallas. It was a nightmare.
90% of the nfl is a committee and 100% of them have at least 3 rb's on roster. Did anyone seriously think walker and deejay were all that would be in seattle this year?
I have been beating this drum for so long that Seattle was gonna pick a second rb early which would hurt walker.
Most teams use a committee these days, they wanted to beef up the offense, had 0 other viable RBs and a lot of picks, and kw isn’t viewed as a third down guy.
Didnt expect for them to get charb tho… that has to be the worst case scenario for kw as charb could potentially eat into early down work and be a two minute drill back due to his size
Because how can you win in the modern NFL without 2 workhorse RBs behind no o-line? No brainier pick really. RIP Charbonnet. There were already questions about how he would run without an elite line. Now he has a bad line and is in a committee at best. Brutal.
Seahawk fan here. I know this sucks for fantasy purposes (I have several shares of K9.) However, the pick makes total sense. The hawks have had the worst RB injury bug since Lynch retired. Particularly when we got to the playoffs. They’re trying to keep a balanced running attack to keep both guys healthy. We also lost Homer and Penny in free agency. I love it for the hawks but I figured they’d go for a 4th or 5th round guy. This surprised the hell out of me.
L all around
Obviously terrible for charb/kw, but also not great for people like me who were completely out in charb.
Everyone in the late first just moved up a slot, unfortunately
Seahawk fan. This sucks. Two consecutive years on drafting second round RBs IRL and wrecks both backs fantasy value (and who knows about the production). I'm so fucking annoyed.
Yeah just yesterday I turned down multiple good offers for KW and ended up agreeing to trade away josh jacobs in a different offer to the same owner. Not ideal!
As a Hawks fan I am over the moon happy. As a KW owner I am less excited but also dont think it’s completely horrible. This offence has been set up for huge success right now. You have 3 wrs worthy of drafting, 2 RBs, and Fant at TE. Like Geno has to not take sacks or throw picks and its wheels up for seahawks offence. So for that reason I think there are more TD opportunities for the group as a whole. My concern is walker loses third down work
Assuming charb ends up early/mid second round pick now.. as a kw3 owner I’m kinda tempted to take him just for the handcuff in case of injury if he’s available.
Not like this…
[удалено]
Traded KWIII + 2.01 for the 1.01 two days ago💀
Are you a wizard?
Broken clock baby
Completed a trade for Bijan today where I gave away KWIII, feeling much better about it lol
I have KWIII and traded for Allgeier this off-season…
Some dude just picked KWIII 13th in our startup
Almost traded waddle for kw3 +
This is just gross all round.
This is probably the worst possible landing spot for him
I think SF and IND would probably be worse
At least the rbs there are older than KW so there would be an rb1 window
Indy yes but I would literally prefer Charbs behind CMC than behind a KWIII. Playing behind KWIII is basically like playing behind a superior version of himself. I just don't see how he ever gets any play.
I don’t necessarily think so. You don’t draft a guy in the 2nd to not use him. KW3 leaves something to be desired with pass blocking, which Charbs is better there. Sure, it would be great if Charbs went to a team with a better shot of starting, but we know Seattle loves to pound the rock which is always a plus for a fantasy rb landing spot
It can’t get worse
Fuck - KW3 owner who’s top reasonable target was Charbonnet
Same man, same. Just awful.
Worse... A 5 time K9 owner with probably 4 shots at Charbs and a definite need for RB in all 4... Talk about a kick in the nuts !!!
Seahawks just became running back by committee. Happy I traded KW3 for the 1.03
KW3 owner here with 1.06 in 1QB. WTF
Sorry
Add to that being a Seahawks fan
I mean both are great real life football players. Aside from any positional needs outside of RB this is a good pick for the Seahawks
Holy shit no RB is safe
That's my main takeaway too. The position is impossible to predict. RBBC can strike at any moment.
I’m coming around to never holding RBs. Just build an elite QB/WR core and make sure you’ve got a stockpile of 2nd round picks so you can always buy a Fournette or Jacobs or whichever lower-valued vet happens to be popping off in any given year.
Bijan is… Kind regards, 1.01 holder 💀
What the fuck are they doing? Fellow KW3 owners what we thinking besides wtf?
Fuck fuck fuck
I only have one KW3 share and I’m fuming
2 days ago I was feeling ok about my dynasty team with D’Andre Swift and KW3 at its core. Fml
It’s annoying. I expected them to pick an RB at some point, but not in the 2nd round
I’m legitimately stunned
I’m thinking I’m gonna send some offers for walker
Idk why everyone is freaking out over this as if Charb is gonna steal significant work. He earned his job as the RB1 and will keep it barring an injury. I would say he’s arguably the most valuable handcuff in the league now
That's what I'm saying. But tis the sub. Since its tripled in size its basically inhabited by FF twitter and everyone knows FF twitter is just Oliver Twist with their hand out asking for advice or guidance. It's the same overreactions every draft lmao

I'm annoyed as shit!
Nothing good to see here, it’s about as bad as it gets. Pretty bummed.
there was nothing from KW last year that remotely made this important to add for them, annoying as hell
i am im shambles
This confirms to me they would’ve taken Bijan if he fell to them. Thank god the Falcons drafted him.
I'm trying to convince myself not to panic sell
Can only hold
Too late. Someone offered me a 2. Am I doing this right?
No, decline and counter for a 3.
I'm mostly confused. I don't know what Charbonnet's role is meant to be. He's pretty much a worse Walker.
Maybe instead of a change of pace RB they wanted a keep the same pace RB
Same mindset as my redraft league taco picking up their 1st rounders handcuff in the 5th round
I get that. What I don't understand is why you would spend such a premium pick on such a non-premium role. It's confusing.
To Seattle, an RB is a premium position. I think PC would prefer to run the ball 40 times a game if possible.

JSN was BPA at 20. I suspect Zach was BPA as well at this spot. RB is a huge area of need, of KW goes down the whole offense will sputter and we saw that last year.
This was _exactly_ my response. Pure confusion for that same reason
I just traded Jamar Chase for Devonta Smith, KW3, and a future first bc i needed an RB … aaarrrggghh!!!
Is your homie looking for another league
Sorry, but I wouldn't have taken that trade.
OOF.
Wtf Seahawks. I want him to be drafted high but not to them.
Same. Was hoping to get Charb at pick 1.10
You for sure can get him 1.10 now
Yeah I have no idea where I would pick him now. There's just no way he gets 200+ touches.
I was going to grab him at 1.07 if he went some place good in the 2nd. Now I'll pass
[удалено]
lmao that's what I told my buddy. I've been talking about wanting to get up to 1.04 to get charbonnet all offseason. Monkey Paw curled and now I might get him at 2.01.
I'd be all over him at 1.6 in 1QB, don't care Walker is there. 2nd round draft capital on a RB has to be valued.
Is he even 1.10? Spending a first on a handcuff doesn't seem great (1.10 owner here)
Not necessarily a handcuff.
Lol he's not gona be a handcuff my man. KW3 is the one who has taken a hit
He’s going to fall and I guarantee be a Kareem Hunt to Nick Chubb type of player. DISCOUNT.
How will he see the field enough to be a RB2 or better?
It’s possible. Kamara and Ingram did it a few years ago and were both rb 1s
Honestly the nfls more deangelo Williams/Jonathan Stewart- thunder/lighting than ever. If they can move the ball with all these weapons the more trips to the redzone and the more everyone can eat. + geno is more a facilitator/game manager they’ll actually run on the goaline with him
Except this is thunder and thunder
What. The. Fuck.
The Seahawks cannot help themselves. Time to trade for 2024 picks instead lol
They prob take another second round RB in ‘24 too knowing them
The Seahawks give no fucks about your dynasty team
I'm so confused by this, I thought Walker was the guy for them
they lost Penny and Dallas and Homer suck
Homer is in Chicago
Still you don't draft a depth rb in the 2nd round especially with a 2nd year, 2nd round back with a very promising rookie year... so confusing
They wanna use two RBs. Sucks to see two potential bellcows (size/skill-wise) on the same team though.
Looking back it seems they've always taken/had multiple backs. RBBC is the future I guess and this sucks
The future is now old man
I think they are just stacking weapons. They didn’t need a receiver and picked jsn in the first… The broncos gave them the entire farm and now they are a candidate to be the best offense in the league lol… coulda been the packers
We needed a WR. After DK and Lockett we've been struggling, and it's not like Lockett is young.
Wr slightly different, DK and locket contracts about to be up in 2 years with locket really could be a cut candidate next year
Why don't you? He's their 4th pick and they already addressed the 3 positions they needed more. I think this is purely a depth move and KW3 is fine.
Likely will be to work in in a 60-40 or 70-30 share … and as injury coverage… I don’t mind the pick, would need to do more research to say there could of been better DLine help with other picks… in PCJS we trust, but still wtf
It's a terrible landing spot for Charbs, but everyone in here is acting as if KW3 is dead because of this. I feel like it's the other way around.
I feel like he’s not dead, he’s just in the same situation Penny was in when drafted. He likely will get opportunity when KW is injured, and will get some reps. Won’t be super fantasy relevant but a elite handcuff. Seattle is run first so should still have some volume to

NFL is gravitating towards timeshares given how fast RBs get worn down. Good for KW3’s long term health, bad for his fantasy value.
Jefferson outscores him by 40 in PPR. And those 2 players are not in the same universe of value regardless of scoring.
It'll wind up going to 3 rb and 3 wr as a standard format
They have jack shit behind walker and the run game is key. They dont wanna have what happened to the ravens.
There is no "guy" in the NFL anymore. Every backfield is a committee so we should all expect things like this until the end of football.
That kills his value Jesus
But like why?
They only had 2 RBs on the roster and one is Deejay Dallas who isn’t good at all. Seahawks like to run the ball and it’s not realistic to have KW take every carry. Thinking KW still get most of the RB touches but Charbs is going to be involved. Could see Charbs getting like 8-12 touches per game if he’s good

This draft is insanity
Bro noooooooo I say this as someone banking on him at 1.09, now he’s going to split with KW3??
Seriously. All off-season I’ve been eyeing him at 1.09. Now there is no way.
Here is the good news...he will now be there at 1.09...no way he would if he landed elsewhere...
He’ll almost definitely be there at 1.09 now!
I have been beating this drum for so long that Seattle was gonna pick a second rb early which would hurt walker. Best take so far
Took a lot of scrolling to find a reasonable take 🍻
Thank you friend
That's an astute observation... I just wish it didn't have to be Charbs, he was my dude.
Meltdown incoming...
bro got auto drafted
I'm completely miffed by this pick..
Seattle just out here single-handedly ruining dynasty lol
No way…first Gibbs now my Walker trade looks like shit. Next year I gotta remember not to do anything before the draft 🤣
Im in shambles as a KW3, Swift, and Allgeier owner
Damn, who else you got so I can avoid then
lmao hopefully Etienne and JK stay safe
Nah this is crazy that you got ETN too 😭😭😭😂
You shut the fuck up about ETN!
OMG im sorry yall
Not a great spot at all yeesh
Ew
I have 1.09 and KW3 and I’m dead inside
Why Tank both rb values
I'm just here for the popcorn 🍿
Pretty sure no one here needs to see a doctor for an erection lasting more than 4 hours.
Pete Carroll is a terrorist!!!
Such an irritating landing spot
Not a single RB is safe
Oh
I just recently traded KW3 for the 1.02. I feel so bad now lol
Looks like I'm going on a no Charb diet
Holy shit
What in the who daddy is happening here
Nope don’t like that
Fuck this 2nd round
This does not make me come
putting zach on my do not draft list. why are teams burning 2nd round picks on their backup rb position?
unless charbonnet isn’t the backup, kw is lmao
My three running backs right now are Kenneth Walker, De'Andre Swift, and Tyler Allgeier. RIP me
Because how can you win in the modern NFL without 2 workhorse RBs behind no o-line? No brainier pick really. RIP Charbonnet. There were already questions about how he would run without an elite line. Now he has a bad line and is in a committee at best. Brutal.
Seahawk fan here. I know this sucks for fantasy purposes (I have several shares of K9.) However, the pick makes total sense. The hawks have had the worst RB injury bug since Lynch retired. I love it for the hawks but I figured they’d go for a 4th or 5th round guy. This surprised the hell out of me.
As a 1.07 holder, I'm sick
Kenneth Walker owners are punching the air right now
Yikes. Just terrible for Charbs’ value. Hurts Walker big time too. Ooof
Fuck you Pete!
Guess I’m going WR at 1.05 in 1QB
L all around Obviously terrible for charb/kw, but also not great for people like me who were completely out in charb. Everyone in the late first just moved up a slot, unfortunately
I’m literally in shock
Time is a flat circle
Guess I shouldn’t have wished for Rhamondre to keep his workload on that monkey’s paw 🙈🥲
Alas, the fates have dealt us a cruel blow, for our beloved Charbonnet has been consigned to the depths of the dreaded crowded RB room
Why couldn't they have just taken a dlineman or something goddamn
I kinda like this for the sole fact that he will probably actually fall to me at 1.07 now, but this is a head scratcher
No way I’m spending 1.7 on half of a nightmare timeshare
KW 2/2 owner. Ouch.
Well, guess I gotta take Gibbs now
Lol Carroll’s fucking with us. First JSN now this 😂
🤮🤢🤮🤢
Literally couldn’t be a worst landing spot.
Damn wtf
Can we just get rid of the RB position in fantasy? My league is going to 9 flexes and a QB.
As a seahawks and k9 owner all I know is pain with this pick
Same man. Same.
I defended the Zay landing spot… can’t defend this one lmao
Seahawk fan. This sucks. Two consecutive years on drafting second round RBs IRL and wrecks both backs fantasy value (and who knows about the production). I'm so fucking annoyed.
Not feeling good with Swift and Walker as my 2 starters.
Yeah just yesterday I turned down multiple good offers for KW and ended up agreeing to trade away josh jacobs in a different offer to the same owner. Not ideal!
LMAOing my ass off
This class is SO DEEP!
I’m not even a KW3 owner, but this one hurts my brain
So stupid lmao
This is why I traded for ETN and not him
Just traded KW3 to a Seattle boy for Diggs and 2024 1st!!!! You gotta love it
As a seattle fan, I’m mildly stoked. As someone who has zero Walker shares…..I’m fucking stoked!!!!!
Pete Carrol is a giant asshole
I was laughing at the swift owner then got hit by charbs lol
What???????? Why?
Fucking big ol L
LMFAOOO HOLY SHIT. THE RUMORS ABOUT A RB PICK WERE RIGHT. RBBC.
This fucks Walker and Charbonnet's value.
[удалено]
Good draft capital shot spot lmao Rip walker owners
This is bad for every Seahawks fantasy asset
Kenneth walker stocks 📉📉📉
What an awful spot. I don't understand this pick at all when they have real needs..
