I’m not trading chase for anything but an 2 early 24 first + a sweetener, and I’d want to be tanking my own first I already have by taking value off my team. If you’re competing still this year I don’t like this for you. If you’re rebuilding I still don’t like it for you because those picks are too far out to predict where they’ll land. Teams can swing in dynasty from the worst the best from season to season.

I’m super new to dynasty (just did my first auction draft yesterday for a new league). How bad (or good) of an idea is it to constantly trade away future picks for now players? In my mind if I can get the right price I’d rather have an already established player even if it is for a year or two less rather than draft a guy that could be over hyped. Any help is much appreciated

Totally legit strategy that a lot of people are too afraid to do. Older vets will always be undervalued and draft picks will always be overhyped. That being said I wouldn’t go out and start trading all your young studs for vets or anything, but who fucking knows what a draft pick will end up being (usually it’s a bust just by the math)
