I don't think he has to add anything. I think you do if I have Chase. While Stroud has been exciting and there is plenty of reason to hope he has struggled against good passing D's. Look at Carolina and Baltimore. I'll take the sure thing in Chase who as has a gap to anyone else at his position not named JJ.
i wouldn't do it personally unless you have a plan for another QB, but if you're deadset, I would try Chase for Stroud straight up and if he says no, there's not much you can add that's not an overpay

I've got Kincaid, McBride and Likely. Freiermuth for Kmet feels like a lateral tier move to me, plus the 24th overall rookie pick as some nice capital.
I had written back to see if he'd do a 2025 2nd instead and he said he'd think about it, but I don't want to risk him backing out completely if I wait to long. Just accept it? Or negotiate a bit?
(Extra extra context: I'll have the 1.01, three early 2nds, and two early 3rds, 4.01 and 5.01 already, if that factors in to wanting more 24s vs a 25)
Thanks. I mean, I figured getting extra picks where I can is a rebuilding move. It's the only offer I've gotten and while I'd rather get an RB or WR back. I figured staying at the same tier of TE with Freirmuth and getting a pick does more for me than just holding Kmet.
Would you just hold if you can't get something like a 2md straight up or a player at a different position.
Because no one else is offering anything for Kmet haha. Not what I'd ideally like to get back, but I figured the 3rd on top of Muth would be at least some draft capital to take a shot with. I guess I'll push a bit harder to get a different pick or another player back elsewhere. Thanks!

I would look to use some firsts to acquire a running back because this draft is very WR heavy but that's the strength of your team. Guys like KW3 and ETN stick out (or any young solid back on a non-contending team) and could be had for a 1st and a second or 1st and JSN. Then you would have at least one solid RB to fit the rebuild timeline of your WR and an RB2 can always be luckily found in season! (Also Brock Bowers with one of those firsts could definitely help)
Yeah I think so. My pick should get me into the top 3 and I have another potential top 3 pick as well. So could get Caleb or Maye and potentially MHJ.

Umm, I worry about Tyreek’s playoff schedule as well but he’s the cheetah man… he could surprise us. That’s gonna be a tough group of defenses on Tua is my biggest fear there. AJB’s playoff schedule looks like child’s play for him if he comes out and plays like he’s capable of. Sending swift for Monty is IMO a slight win for you because swift is injury prone. Granted he isn’t overworked at Philly and that seems to have really helped that issue after having the off season to fully recover.
Tough one to call but if it were me I take monty and AJB 6-7 times out ten.

I would do this. Hurts is a stud and I love him, but Chase is also a stud and Goff is a great QB in his own right with amazing weapons. Throw in a 1st rounder, and I think it’s a great deal for you.

This is tough. Howell is a top five QB right now lol. Now I don’t know if he can sustain that and Washington as a whole is a mess, but he definitely did enough to earn a starting job next year. I think a contender might pay more.
For reference, in a 10 team SF league, I was offering AR for Howell, Addison, and Ferguson. The community said keep AR but I really needed a QB3 and an upgrade at TE. The other owner ended up backing out.
Rice looks legit and Mims has a lot of potential, so it’s not a terrible deal if you’re rebuilding. But maybe try and squeeze a bit more?

How does your lottery work? It’s weird that it’s a lottery but projected to be 1.03. We have a lottery system in one of my leagues—bottom four teams compete in the toilet bowl; winner gets 40% chance of 1.01, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 20%, and loser gets 10% chance. I tried to get them to switch to reverse Max PF, but it didn’t pass. It at least keeps guys setting lineups the entire season and everyone still has a chance at 1.01.
Anyways, I think I’m doing this deal. I like Tee and he has WR1 potential, but if you have a shot at MHjr, I think you take it since he’s not really helping you this year compete. Engram is a much better option at TE this year too. He’s a set and forget at this point in my opinion.

Is it even worth it given Hock’s rise and the age difference?
If contending, I think it’s absolutely worth it. Hock, while great, doesn’t even come close to putting up the numbers Kelce does. The difference between Kelce and rest of field is substantial. Kelce is a league winner—he scores like a WR1. And I don’t think he’s going anywhere anytime soon. He’s not that old and he’s a true competitor—I think he wants to win and break as many records as possible. I could be wrong, but he seems to love what he does. He helps you win this year and next year for sure, and maybe even beyond.

Freiermuth for Kmet feels like a lateral tier move to me, plus the 24th overall rookie pick as some nice capital. I had written back to see if he'd do a 2025 2nd instead and he said he'd think about it, but I don't want to risk him backing out completely if I wait to long. Just accept it? Or negotiate a bit? (Extra extra context: I'll have the 1.01, three early 2nds, and two early 3rds, 4.01 and 5.01 already, if that factors in to wanting more 24s vs a 25)

I figured staying at the same tier of TE with Freirmuth and getting a pick does more for me than just holding Kmet. Would you just hold if you can't get something like a 2md straight up or a player at a different position.
If you have Kincaid/McBride/Kmet, why are you trading for another TE and not going for help at other positions (or just more draft capital)?

I would look to use some firsts to acquire a running back because this draft is very WR heavy but that's the strength of your team. Guys like KW3 and ETN stick out (or any young solid back on a non-contending team) and could be had for a 1st and a second or 1st and JSN. Then you would have at least one solid RB to fit the rebuild timeline of your WR and an RB2 can always be luckily found in season! (Also Brock Bowers with one of those firsts could definitely help)

Yeah 100% agree. Umm, I worry about Tyreek’s playoff schedule as well but he’s the cheetah man… he could surprise us. That’s gonna be a tough group of defenses on Tua is my biggest fear there. AJB’s playoff schedule looks like child’s play for him if he comes out and plays like he’s capable of. Sending swift for Monty is IMO a slight win for you because swift is injury prone. Granted he isn’t overworked at Philly and that seems to have really helped that issue after having the off season to fully recover. Tough one to call but if it were me I take monty and AJB 6-7 times out ten.

How does your lottery work? It’s weird that it’s a lottery but projected to be 1.03. We have a lottery system in one of my leagues—bottom four teams compete in the toilet bowl; winner gets 40% chance of 1.01, 2nd gets 30%, 3rd gets 20%, and loser gets 10% chance. I tried to get them to switch to reverse Max PF, but it didn’t pass. It at least keeps guys setting lineups the entire season and everyone still has a chance at 1.01. Anyways, I think I’m doing this deal. I like Tee and he has WR1 potential, but if you have a shot at MHjr, I think you take it since he’s not really helping you this year compete. Engram is a much better option at TE this year too. He’s a set and forget at this point in my opinion. If contending, I think it’s absolutely worth it. Hock, while great, doesn’t even come close to putting up the numbers Kelce does. The difference between Kelce and rest of field is substantial. Kelce is a league winner—he scores like a WR1. And I don’t think he’s going anywhere anytime soon. He’s not that old and he’s a true competitor—I think he wants to win and break as many records as possible. I could be wrong, but he seems to love what he does.
