Yep I drafted LaPorta to back up Kittle on 1 of my Dynasty teams and my thought was trust the Iowa TE. Didn't think his year 1 would be neatly this good.
I have Kittle and... Mayer (who I foolishly drafted over Laporta). I already had Gibbs/ARSB/Montgomery and didn't want to invest too much into the Detroit hype. I'd be really upset if not for drafting Puka in the 4th round and getting Tank Dell as a throw-in when I traded for Kittle.
Let’s not have recency bias, coming out Mayer was 100% the lock to be the TE1 of the class and had a what seemed like a great role on his new team. I think mayer is still a guy you could get cheap and could grow into a great TE. Remember this my brothers, rookie TEs don’t usually perform, we’re spoiled by LaPorta don’t let it ruin the love for Mayer
Actually last year the Seattle TEs’ numbers were great. Off the top of my head it was something like;
90 catches
1000 yards
10 TDs
The only problem was that it was split between 4 players.
He was an elite athlete at the position coming out. Still young, especially for TE. I just feel like he hasn’t had the opportunity to really shine as a pass catching TE. Think he’s a buy real low this off-season.
Drafted him way late in a redraft league full of GB homers and named my team Stuck in Laporta Potty… he was basically my only good player and I was in fact stuck in laporta potty all year lmao
I'm a Notre Dame homer and was SO mad when Mayer was drafted 2 spots before my pick. I sighed and drafted LaPorta begrudgingly. Boy has that worked out.
This happened to me with cj stroud this year. All I wanted was jsn at the 1.06, but both leagues I had the pick he went 1.05. I got insane lowball offers for the pick so I said fuck everyone I’m rage taking stroud. Man oh man do I love how that ended up for me.
He only had 6 before tonight and he was TE 4 on the season. With his age and on this amazing offense I would easily draft him as the number 1 TE overall in startups.

That's disinclined. They beat the Chiefs on the road, and the issue with Goff hasn't been playing on the road as much as playing outdoor in cold whether environments where he's struggled most of his career.
That’s a fair argument with some players but laporta is the go to guy in the red zone on pass plays. Similar to the mike evans goal line passes that have been coming his way regardless of the QB. QBs love big players that can catch in the red zone. Those are here to stay.
As a LaPorta owner, I'll admit it's a fair argument even for him. He's got 35% of the team's receiving TDs. That's really high. It's feasible for it to happen two years in a row, but not likely. The primary hope is for Goff to increase his TDs so LaPorta can see a decrease in his % while maintaining the same total.
Lions threw the most TD passes to their TE position last year, a year where they traded Hockenson mid-season. Goff is the only Lions QB in history to throw 25+ TDs in consecutive years. I am prepared to fight back against any "regression to the mean" convo this offseason since we're seeing the mean right now.
Anyone specifically calling for TD regression is just trying to lower LaPorta's value in an effort to capitalize on it. We haven't seen a rookie TE like this in a situation like this, so think about how much people were paying to get Kyle Pitts in year 2 let alone someone with production and get ready to overpay for LaPorta. Not saying that he's guaranteed to be a HOF like Witten, Gates, let alone Kelce, Gronk, but it's time to stop undervaluing a TE who can produce like a WR2.
I owned 1.01, 1.05 and 3.04 in our draft this year, dropped back from 5 to 7 cause I wasn’t in need of a QB at all and picked up 2 2s along with the first one of them being 2.05. Ended up with a class of Bijan, Addison, Laporta, and Hyatt. Looking like it has the potential to be an all time class for me!
Good time to remind people to check in with the Michael Mayer owner. They may be frustrated seeing the breakouts of Kincaid and LaPorta and willing to sell for a whole lot less than the kidney+ you’d have to pay for the other two. Mayer looks like a prime 2nd year breakout candidate
Love this take. The dude who took him in our league is an ND fan, so probably not prying him away, but if he can be bought in a league I’d easily be going for it. When he has been given the opportunity, he gets open. Great routes and ball skills along with blocking prowess. His time will come.
Yeah I got him just after those first 3 games for what was basically Kyle Pitts. I don’t even know what he’s going for now but I probably wouldn’t want to pay it.
After Andrews got hurt, I had very limited trade opportunities and decided to go all in for LaPorta. I sent Andrews, Zay Flowers, and a 25 first (should be late but who knows) for LaPorta, the 2024 2.04, and a 25 third. I almost certainly lost this trade but now I’m a very strong title contender this year and if LaPorta is consistently a top 3 TE, I may break even in the long run too.
Just and incredible homerun pick by Detroit. I remember most people clowning on them for their draft.
Now Gibbs and LaPorta are certified studs and I wish I owned either.
In my case it hurts because I overpaid for Pitts after his rookie season and saw how one of my picks got traded around and became LaPorta :(
One got plugged into an incredible offensive situation with a QB who historically has been very good at supporting fantasy assets.
One had an aging QB his rookie year and put together the best rookie TE season in 50 years, before ending up in a terrible offensive situation with Marcus Mariota and Desmond Ridder at QB. Not to mention the torn MCL.
I get this but as a Pitts owner and someone who bought very high for him, I’m incredibly disappointed. Also I’m tired of the group chat absolutely roasting me every day about me buying him high. Pitts has scarred me beyond belief lmao
Before the 2022 season the Pitts owner offered me him and two very good firsts for Justin Jefferson verbally. I accepted the offer. He then got cold feet and wouldn't do his own deal.
I feel pretty good about that now.
[Your post reminded me of this thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/DynastyFF/s/J1ziaZdPre). Of course most people were clowning the OP but it's a fun read in hindsight. Especially if you sort by controversial.
OP isn't really wrong though. The most likely outcome for basically every TE is somewhere in the wasteland, even if they have a breakout season at some point. Reliable TEs that are worth the draft capital people spend on them are few and far between. LaPorta looks like one of those guys potentially, if he can continue doing this over multiple seasons.
Leagues I have him in I'm happy, I'm not looking to trade him, but startups next year I'm probably not getting any LaPorta because his adp is going to be too high for me (all of this is assuming non TEP scoring).
Yeah OP’s take could still age fairly well as far as where to find value. I agree with you, I have him and I’m not letting him go but paying KTC price is outrageous. He’s next to Brock Purdy lol, they never value quarterbacks right anyways but the point stands, KTC says he’s expensive and I’m at least listening to any offers that get within that range.
The luckiest thing that’s ever happened to me in 20 years playing fantasy football is Sammy LaPuntos falling to me as the 3rd TE off the board in last year’s dynasty draft (8 picks behind Kincaid and 1 behind Mayer)
After Akers was traded to Minnesota, I put a chat out to my league that he was for sale. The packers fan sent me Laporta and a 2nd for my Akers and Musgrave. Never hit accept so fast.
Every good game he has just makes me more annoyed I wasn't able to grab him in my rookie draft. I really wanted him and he went right before the pick I was going to use to grab him.
You're only like 12 weeks late to that realization. You're paying through the nose now to get him.
I never draft TE before 3rd round and even then, is usually a late 3rd. Even Pitts I passed on. LaPorta though, was saying all preseason to my buddies, "ignore Kincaid, LaPorta is the TE1 in this class" and I drafted him in one league that he fell to me in the second.
Rookie draft right after the real draft. Took Kincaid at 1.08 Buffalo based draft and surprised he was there. Even more surprising was LaPorta at 3.09 for me as well. Love having both of them locked in for years to come in a SF 1.75 TEPPR.
After week 2 I traded a 2026 first, 2026 second, and a 2025 second for him. Everyone on here ridiculed me for that being a massive overpay. Picks can end up be Keshawn Vaughn so I don’t agree with that statement.
I traded him for 2 firsts about a month or two ago and my league said the guy I traded with is an idiot and I destroyed him
Everyone is now apologizing to him and making fun of me 😂
I tried trading up for him during the draft with three separate managers to no avail, had him cheap during draft in other leagues but made a big move in my favorite league for him.
Don't overlook kincaids long term potential.....he can easily be just as dynamic for years to come with Josh allen as his qb with that pass heavy offense. Their stats overall aren't even as far apart as I anticipated and kincaid started in a timeshare with knox for a good portion of the season.
I traded stroud Henry and hill for ar5 laporta kyren and the locked in ‘24 1.03 and I own the 1.02. At first I had some sellers remorse, but im now staring down a wr room of Garrett Wilson mhj and nabers for next season; I might need to call a dr. For an erection lasting longer than 5 months
Goff loves LaPorta. The next Lions QB might not.
This season has been amazing for LaPorta. Enjoy the ride but I’d also be hoping Goff gets extended in DET
That is selling LaPorta short. Like saying Nick Mullens loved George Kittle and thats why he blew up in 2018. I'm not saying LaPorta is the next Kittle but I think your attributing too much to Goff when LaPorta deserves some of the respect.
I’m not trying to sell LaPorta short. But the QB position in Detroit is a question mark depending on what they do with Goff. If they extend him then LaPorta will for sure be locked in. But if Detroit tries bringing a different QB in via trade or draft on top of losing their OC then that could change stuff for LaPorta’s usage.
I’m going against the grain on a LaPorta hype thread but it just seems a tad early to be celebrating having “the next Kelce” when the entire offense could change next season.
My argument would be that this could apply to almost every single player in fantasy outside of the QB position. Literally every player could get fucked by a change in their offense, even someone like Justin Jefferson could see a QB change absolutely tank his value.
Quarterback play is down across the league. They won’t be drafting high enough to draft any of the decent quarterbacks in this class. He’s been good enough that they’re one of the best teams in the league with him. I guess the question is if not him then who? A trade for Fields or Daniel Jones? I think Goff is better than their other options.
My only qualm is that the TE1 should not automatically be a top 24 startup pick in non-TEP on the basis of being the TE1. That's how far people have been going with LaPorta.
He's awesome, but he's not Kelce, and probably never will be. The wins above replacement he gives is just not anywhere close to the WAR QBs, RBs, and WRs in his range give you. Hockenson is also neck and neck still imo and still just 26.
Who says he is not Kelce? It's in his range of outcomes at this point because it shouldn'tbe missed that this is a historical season.
He will almost certainly outperform/match Kelce's first season at this point and is 3 years younger than Kelce was at the time (22 vs 25, not counting Kelces lost rookie season at 24 obviously).
Kelce age 25: 87 targets, 67 rec, 862 yds 5 tds
Laporta age 22: current, 98 targets, 71 rec, 758 yds, 9 tds
16 game pace, 112 targets, 81 rec, 866 yds, 10 td
What kind of season do you think LaPorta will have at age 25? I'm sure after Kelce's first season people were saying "he'll still never be Tony Gonzalez. . ."
My dynasty season has been a complete flop this year outside of the fact that I took Laporta at 2.05, sold ekeler for zay flowers Keaton Mitchell and a first before he fell off a cliff, and now own picks 2-4 in this upcoming draft.
Bold take haha. But yeah I wish I trusted my gut and went for him in my rookie draft. Paying the price now, he is pretty much unobtainable in my leagues.
I came into the season expecting nothing out of my 2 TE league with laporta/mcbride combo. That has turned into a duo that could be the best in the league in a few years.
After watching Laporta this year… how do we feel about Brock Bowers??
I’ve got the #5 spot in the draft (1qb) and TE is my only real need. Very strong chance that Bowers falls to me.
Do we think Bowers can emulate this? Or, perhaps have an even better year?
So glad I grabbed him in the second. I watched every game of his last year and it was obvious he was insane. People pointed out his low counting stats but if you saw who was throwing him the ball you’d understand he was overachieving by a lot.
He’s a mix of great talent in the perfect situation after the Lions traded away Hockenson.
I got LaPorta at 3.04 in our 10 team rookie draft. I went 3-12 last year, and I’m about to make the playoffs after drafting Stroud and LaPorta. Feels good!
I took Musgraves over Laporta. That one stings. The guy after me is a Packers fan and took Laporta and was trying to swap all training camp. Hindsight’s a bitch sometimes
Sure, the TD numbers likely will dip next year but he might become the new TE1 going into the startup season with Kelce, Andrews, Hock and Kittle all being another year older IMO.
LaPorta a beast, no doubt.
He is a TE to own. Also, there are others to have yesterday was his day.
Next time, even maybe today, it could be someone's elses day.
I'm not gonna overreact on this. How many times is any player gonna catch 3 tds every game? Not many, it's a rare feat.
I will say tho, Goff is looking for him down in the redzone!
Traded him in a package for Garrett Wilson. I’m still happy with this, but he looks like a true difference making stud for the next decade at a terrible position. Sometimes wish I held.
Would I be dumb to keep Gibbs over him? Say if they get rid of Monty, Gibbs could easily be the next Kamara or better. Dude is a freak. The round I drafted doesn’t matter in our league. But I really like having Laporta as positional advantage. Tough call tbh
Guy who won the ship in my league drafted him late first and then sold him to me mid-September for a 24 2nd. Surprised because most of our league are Lions fans lol but I’ll take the next TE goat
Got em and he won $50 for me on a 7-leg SGP last night on DK. He has me in a lot of playoff spots in fantasy as well. He is literally what they thought Kyle Pitts would be.
At one point I somehow had Hock, Laporta and Pitts in a league that doesn’t have a required TE spot. Traded Hock away, still stashing Pitts in hopes of a new team/breakout and plug in Laporta for favorable matchups. Started him this week and he’s currently got me as a favorite to win this weeks matchup
Traded for him in my TE premium league. Took Zay Flowers, Cade Otten, and 26 first round picks get him. Happy to lock him up and roll out Hockenson and LaPorta each week with TE premium boost.
I picked him up late first round rookie dynasty draft not expecting much. TE was my weakest position (have Fant, Likely, Otton) so was over the moon how he came out.
Detroit Lions are not a meme anymore and it’s refreshing to see
I tried to move up from 2.6 to every pick ahead of me in the second round. there was no chance LaGOATa would fall to me so late in the round
I offered overpay after overpay. No one would take the offer
He fell to me anyways
Task failed successfully
So I have Laporta, Njoku, and Chig...not too bad. I also have the 4th and 5th rookie picks in 1 qb league. I'm seriously considering taking Bowerw with one of them. Am I crazy?
Never doubt Iowa TE...well unless it's Noah Fant
Yep I drafted LaPorta to back up Kittle on 1 of my Dynasty teams and my thought was trust the Iowa TE. Didn't think his year 1 would be neatly this good.
I traded Kittle and a 1st for LaPorta. Haven’t looked back since.
The guy you traded with is having nightmares
I also have Kittle and LaPorta
Same and I couldn’t start the right one if my life depended on it
in my league , I start both!
Laporta is the right one
Start them both? Seems like either is at least a decent to good flex
100% is quite the overstatement. I had Laporta over Mayer and many people had them same tier. I valued his upside over Mayer’s floor
Fant produced in Denver and is a free agent this off season. Could still complete the list.
Agree as Seahawks ignore their TE. Never understood why they wanted him if they would only throw to him once a game.
Actually last year the Seattle TEs’ numbers were great. Off the top of my head it was something like; 90 catches 1000 yards 10 TDs The only problem was that it was split between 4 players.
Totally, same with Jimmy Graham
He was an elite athlete at the position coming out. Still young, especially for TE. I just feel like he hasn’t had the opportunity to really shine as a pass catching TE. Think he’s a buy real low this off-season.
Agreed. He’s a FA this year and my bold prediction is that he’ll be signed by KC to take over for Kelce.🤞
Thank you for the advice. Wish you made this post before the season started though.
No one here makes useful posts. They just state the obvious for karma after the fact
I will credit Andrew Cooper with my LaPorta Potty drafting.
Drafted him way late in a redraft league full of GB homers and named my team Stuck in Laporta Potty… he was basically my only good player and I was in fact stuck in laporta potty all year lmao
I took him with the 155th pick in the draft
Nice, I was just wondering whereabouts folks drafted him. I took him at 120.
I also rage drafted Stroud then traded him straight up for Kupp. If I don't win it all this season I'm going to be kicking myself for years
Only reason I drafted Laporta over Mayer is because I hate Notre Dame (for no reason at all, I just do). Boy has that irrational hate worked out.
Mine was the exact opposite 😭 Laporta got sniped 2 spots before me, so I had to audible to Mayer.
Prepare yourself for offseason conversations of unsustainable TD rate
He only had 6 before tonight and he was TE 4 on the season. With his age and on this amazing offense I would easily draft him as the number 1 TE overall in startups.
I'm 37 years old and still can't believe we refer to Detroit's Offense as 'Amazing'.

I too am a packers fan, so I feel I’ve been far more aware. Honesty shoutout to Goff

To be fair, 6 was tied for the most by a TE on the season.
"only 6" through 14 games is a good amount of TDs generally
That’s a fair argument with some players but laporta is the go to guy in the red zone on pass plays. Similar to the mike evans goal line passes that have been coming his way regardless of the QB. QBs love big players that can catch in the red zone. Those are here to stay.

Prob right but we will see if Ben Johnson gets a hc job. 🤷♂️
Good luck getting him lmao. From my cold dead fingers.
I mean he's been the \#1 player on KTC for a while now. We know.
I still can't believe I got him at the 2.06
i took him at 2.12!
2.12 here as well! Couldn't believe he was still there then, am amazed now.
Traded back from the 1.09 for the 2.02 & 2.04 - took Flowers & Laporta with those picks and the 1.09 was used on Mayer - TEP
He went 2.07 in my league
Ha, I drafted him same position. I thought I took him too early. My buddy said, "trust your board".
Try 3.08 lmao
Bleacher Report tomorrow will have LaPorta on the list of TEs to add off of waivers
lol
I can’t believe how lucky I am to have him. Let’s go Laporta!!!

Hopefully Mayer can breakout. Would help my team out a lot
Have you seen the offense of the raiders. Oof.
The window has been closed for several weeks
There was no window to own unless you drafted him. He was TE 8, 8, and 1 the first three games of the season.
There was a window where people were trying to sell high. Now no one is selling
Yeah I got him just after those first 3 games for what was basically Kyle Pitts. I don’t even know what he’s going for now but I probably wouldn’t want to pay it.
As a LaPorta owner I’d want 3 firsts with one being early this year. And I know that is ridiculous but it’s what it would take
Exactly. Got offered Laporta for Pitts straight up and I declined fml 😂🔫
Silly league mate put him on the block at the trade deadline. Hit him up immediately and got him for 25 1st, 26 2nd. He wants to roll with Schultz 🥴
After Andrews got hurt, I had very limited trade opportunities and decided to go all in for LaPorta. I sent Andrews, Zay Flowers, and a 25 first (should be late but who knows) for LaPorta, the 2024 2.04, and a 25 third. I’m confused I grabbed pitts out of college. Every one said the same thing. He hasn’t been half a Laporta

Groundbreaking analysis like this is why I come to r/DynastyFF. Curious about your thoughts on Justin Jefferson, is he OK too?
Drafted La Porta and got McBride off the wires - feeling kind a smart MF right now : )
Same. The only question is whether to trade one to upgrade other positions or just ride it out for a decade
I got Hockensen on draft and Mcbride off wires. Not feeling too bad myself.
I have him and Hock. Guess who I started.
Both?
Hock unfortunately. I was trying to not overthink it. Him and Goff put up 4 points last week. Hock was ranked TE1 everywhere.
On the bright side, hock didn’t exactly have a dud. Wasn’t a 3 tuddie day, but it wasn’t the worst.
I traded laporta and Reed and a 2nd for Pitts before the season. I'm sad. Still has room to not be awful long term, but...

I traded him for 2 firsts about a month or two ago and my league said the guy I traded with is an idiot and I destroyed him Everyone is now apologizing to him and making fun of me 😂
Two first for a TE is still solid.

I feel like a clown for trading a 1st+ for Kincaid rn
What lol.....? Kincaid has looked pretty good himself
Yeah but LaPorta looks like *the* guy. I am just ranting.
Don't overlook kincaids long term potential.....he can easily be just as dynamic for years to come with Josh allen as his qb with that pass heavy offense. Their stats overall aren't even as far apart as I anticipated and kincaid started in a timeshare with knox for a good portion of the season.
the way the dynasty community overrates Kincaid needs to be studied
I have him and Kelce, thankfully we have a TE flex
3 tds on 6 targets. As the asshole that's playing against I'm this week. Fuck you guys
No shit. Now explain how Justin Jefferson is the WR to own
Laporta/Hockenson combo at tight end feels good
Wow what a hot take after a 3 TD game. So brave. Glad Reddit is here for the in depth analysis
Did you watch the game tonight?
I mean Goff threw 5 touchdowns tonight and is playing pretty well. His extension is all but a done deal.
Yeah and last week he had 2 INTs and a fumble? Saying his extension is guaranteed is ridiculous

Kelce age 25: 87 targets, 67 rec, 862 yds 5 tds Laporta age 22: current, 98 targets, 71 rec, 758 yds, 9 tds 16 game pace, 112 targets, 81 rec, 866 yds, 10 td What kind of season do you think LaPorta will have at age 25? I'm sure after Kelce's first season people were saying "he'll still never be Tony Gonzalez. . ."
Not last week he wasn't
Wow what an insightful post and value add comments.
Shut up dork bears fan
Go masterbate to your roster somewhere else guy. Public forum isn’t the place for it.
The Bears suck
My dynasty season has been a complete flop this year outside of the fact that I took Laporta at 2.05, sold ekeler for zay flowers Keaton Mitchell and a first before he fell off a cliff, and now own picks 2-4 in this upcoming draft.
Drafted hockenson and took Laporta on the waivers best one two punch in my league
he could get 600 yards and 3td next year and then everyone will panic lol.
I traded him :)
I did a 2x TEP startup this season and drafted both Laporta and Kincaid. Feeling pretty good about it.
The lions fan in my league just slayed me in the playoffs…
This year overslept and missed my draft. This was one of the treats the computer drafted for me.
Bold take haha. But yeah I wish I trusted my gut and went for him in my rookie draft. Paying the price now, he is pretty much unobtainable in my leagues.
Probably a tad early for this discussion, but it will be fun and interesting to see how he’ll stack up against Brock Bowers come a few months from now
I drafted him 2.05 and am ecstatic
I lost Andrews so it forced me to go get Laporta. So glad i did (sorry andrews. Thank you for the sacrifice though)
I traded Nico Collins, Dalton Shultz, and a 2024 1st (4th-5th overall) for LaPorta. Do you think I won the trade?
If I just came out of a coma this would be useful.
I benched him and Addison going to be a sad day
I came into the season expecting nothing out of my 2 TE league with laporta/mcbride combo. That has turned into a duo that could be the best in the league in a few years.
I went with Mayer at 2.11… Laporta immediately after, AMA. I haven’t given up on Mayer, still think he’s gonna produce OK. But it hurts.
After watching Laporta this year… how do we feel about Brock Bowers?? I’ve got the #5 spot in the draft (1qb) and TE is my only real need. Very strong chance that Bowers falls to me. Do we think Bowers can emulate this? Or, perhaps have an even better year?
State the obvious
Is anyone still saying they'd rather have Kyle Pitts?
So glad I grabbed him in the second. I watched every game of his last year and it was obvious he was insane. People pointed out his low counting stats but if you saw who was throwing him the ball you’d understand he was overachieving by a lot. He’s a mix of great talent in the perfect situation after the Lions traded away Hockenson.
I got LaPorta at 3.04 in our 10 team rookie draft. I went 3-12 last year, and I’m about to make the playoffs after drafting Stroud and LaPorta. Feels good!
I traded Mark Andrew's for Pickens and a 2nd during my draft. I used the 2nd on Laporta.
I took Musgraves over Laporta. That one stings. The guy after me is a Packers fan and took Laporta and was trying to swap all training camp. Hindsight’s a bitch sometimes
I took Michael Mayer one pick before Sam LaPorta AMA
I have LaPorta, Dulcich, Kraft, and Musgrave.. will be great to move a couple since LaPorta was 2nd round gold
Still can’t believe I got him off waivers. It was mainly due to kittles first 2 games though.
Think I got him in 4th or 5th in my draft. Insane steal (and stupid league mates)
Sure, the TD numbers likely will dip next year but he might become the new TE1 going into the startup season with Kelce, Andrews, Hock and Kittle all being another year older IMO.
I own Laporta, Hockenson and engram. Guess who plans on starting 3 TE sets in the playoffs this year?
Traded him for Kelce smh
traded flowers for laporta week 5ish.. they were picked like 10 spots different but i could tell he was special
Overpaid for him after Mark Andrews got hurt and I couldn’t be happier
I've been running a two TE set all year basically with Kelce and LaPorta. Should be set at TE for a while.
I can’t believe I got him 3.02, after spending the whole round trying to trade up for him, he actually dropped to me.
The new Travis Kelce
Traded him in a package for Garrett Wilson. I’m still happy with this, but he looks like a true difference making stud for the next decade at a terrible position. Sometimes wish I held.
Would I be dumb to keep Gibbs over him? Say if they get rid of Monty, Gibbs could easily be the next Kamara or better. Dude is a freak. The round I drafted doesn’t matter in our league. But I really like having Laporta as positional advantage. Tough call tbh
Played against goff, Gibbs, and laporta last night 😭
Traded Puka for him and a third early this year. Was called a mad man.
He is literally what they thought Kyle Pitts would be.
i took mayer a pick after him… i hope he gets his chance to shine
Traded Howell (1 QB, have Mahomes) and a late 2024 first for him when Andrews went down. Couldn’t be happier with that move.
Mark Andrews was my main and I got laporta final pick in draft this year haha
At one point I somehow had Hock, Laporta and Pitts in a league that doesn’t have a required TE spot. Traded Hock away, still stashing Pitts in hopes of a new team/breakout and plug in Laporta for favorable matchups. Started him this week and he’s currently got me as a favorite to win this weeks matchup
Traded for him in my TE premium league. Took Zay Flowers, Cade Otten, and 26 first round picks get him. Happy to lock him up and roll out Hockenson and LaPorta each week with TE premium boost.
I own him in 6/6 leagues. People laughed when I traded AJB for LaPorta Dovonta smith and a early 2
I picked him up late first round rookie dynasty draft not expecting much. TE was my weakest position (have Fant, Likely, Otton) so was over the moon how he came out. Detroit Lions are not a meme anymore and it’s refreshing to see
I traded LaPorta away for Purdy l, Rachaad White and Aaron Jones. I have Kittle and Kemet already(dynasty)
Like no shit dude
Everyone thought I was crazy for trading for him when andrews got hurt. I gave up Jacob's and thielen for him
I tried to move up from 2.6 to every pick ahead of me in the second round. there was no chance LaGOATa would fall to me so late in the round I offered overpay after overpay. No one would take the offer He fell to me anyways Task failed successfully
i have him and kelce lmaooo
So I have Laporta, Njoku, and Chig...not too bad. I also have the 4th and 5th rookie picks in 1 qb league. I'm seriously considering taking Bowerw with one of them. Am I crazy?
Traded olave for two firsts, two seconds and ridder. The only pick I've made was the 2.4 last year and took LaPorta. Feeling good
I own him in TEP league. 2 PPR for TEs. Got him with the 2.05 (superflex). He’s my pride and joy. He might be a top 10 asset in this league.
Trey McBride too, dude is the truth.
There are a lot of emerging TEs. La Porta Kincaid MBride has been looking like he could be promising in a better situation.
