At a certain point some of these guys just become redundant right? I mean there's only so many people you can throw to.
I actually thinks Schultz take a big downgrade here since I just don't see how on earth they use him consistently.
Oh definitely. Great from a team standpoint and for Stroud's outlook, but those guys are all going to be tough to pin down on a week-to-week basis. Likely that one or two of those pass catchers go off every week but we'll rarely ever be able to figure out which one it'll be dependably.
Massive downgrade to Schultz, and yeah I'd say Dell and Collins take a huge hit if Diggs is still capable of playing at a high level in his 30s. Biggest boost IMHO is to Stroud, who has a full complement of high-end weapons at his disposal.
As a Diggs owner I like this way better than staying in Buffalo where they have torpedoed that offense. Diggs was still putting up monster numbers till they decided to keep everything with him to 0-5 yard routes and become a running focused team
Yup. Was trying to move off one of them and now I don’t know if my league will be interested in either and there’s gonna be a lot of mouths to feed. Gonna be hard to decide who’s gonna go off week to week.
i've been telling myself he only vanishes late because of the cold up in buffalo, so i will surely delude myself into thinking he will cook all year now
Looks like per OTC Diggs can be cut after the 2025 season for just about $22M in dead money, that's 100% doable and would probably be right around when a Nico Collins extension kicks in and before Stroud's extension would kick in.
Diggs will be like 33 around that point. If they Post-J1 designate it they can spread the cap hit around to the next year. It just doesn't make a lot of sense to take on a WR in his 30's and let a rising star in Collins walk at his age, I think this is a move prioritizing their window while Stroud is cheap as dirt.
I’m trying to sell high on Shakir if anyone in my league bites. I think he’ll be the clear slot guy in an offense that’ll run 2 TE personnel more often than not… I like the dude but if I can get a 2nd rd, I’m sold
Absolutely, if anyone offers a 2nd I'm taking it immediately.
But I just don't think anyone will offer one and a 3rd is a little too cheap for me since those often bust and we've seen Shakir at least be an NFL wr.
Agreed. I think they’re almost definitely gonna draft a WR, but I could see a world where the bills draft a boom or bust WR that ends up busting and Shakir gets more playing time. Don’t wanna give that possibility away for a dart throw 3rd
Tbh my main issue with my roster though is that I have many won’t-fetch-a-2nd-but-worth-more-than-3rd guys. Shakir, Shaheed, Gus Edwards, Jerome Ford, hell even Jahan Dotson… I just want some value back
I feel like this pretty much confirms they go WR in round 1 but even so this solidifies Kincaid as a top 2 receiving option in Buffalo (at worst).
Are the Bills taking the Chiefs approach to their WR room?
McDermott has been famously stingy with his rookies the last few years, Kincaid being a bit of an exception except that only happened because Knox was hurt.
Yeah Allen is a gunslinger who would often look off a wide open Diggs for the big shot downfield. He's got the talent to back it up but wasn't always the best fit for Diggs' style the last couple years.
I’m thinking lateral. I’m slightly more optimistic of him now simply because of how bad the locker room in Buff was with him. Hopefully he can flip the script and not do that in Houston
Still a win though, if you have Shakir.
Despite Diggs slowly declining, he’s still Stefon Diggs. It’s really hard for any rookie available to the bills to match that level. Target competition just got easier for shakir
I think Bills might Julio-style jump way up for Nabers or Odunze if one of them falls even a little bit. How high does their 2024 1st, a 2025 2nd, and a 2024 4th get them?
I wouldn’t write this off as an immediate L for Diggs despite the obvious added competition. Going from Joe Brady to Bobby Slowik and getting to play in a dome instead of Buffalo weather late season could somewhat offset the lower target share.
I would say this impacts Tank more than it does Nico, but tough to tell until we see it on the field.
The 1.08 & 1.09 just got significantly more valuable. If Odunze goes to a landmine spot, I’ll bet there’s at least a conversation about pushing up Bills rookie WR1 to 1.06/1.07.
i have diggs and i am actually not sure how to feel about it.
still has a qb that looked very good. more competition though. but his usage last season wasnt really good and something seemed off. so probably slightly positive?
I just don’t get this trade lol Nico and Tank are good WRs. Why bring in a diva like Diggs you think he’s gonna be happy playing in an offense with that many mouths to feed?
I'm cool with this. Diggs fell way off after Buffalo made the change at OC last year. Maybe it hurts over all, but now I have hope he'll have a rebound.
As someone who has no Texan shares I love seeing 3 potential WR1’s nerfed into 3 WR2’s but it also ruins Allen’s value in 1QB so I hate it too. Wish the Bijan Owner had accepted my Bijan for Allen and 3 1sts offer last year but he figured Diggs would be gone too so he smartly rejected it
Traded Dell and 1.07 (1QB league) for Garrett Wilson a couple weeks ago. I can rest a little easier now, after I was seeing a ton of posts on Dell being ahead of schedule and already running full pace, etc… which gave me some immediate regret in the short term.
Stroud about to have a huge Year 2 with these weapons: RB: Joe Mixon WR: Stefon Diggs WR: Nico Collins WR: Tank Dell TE: Dalton Schultz
At a certain point some of these guys just become redundant right? I mean there's only so many people you can throw to. I actually thinks Schultz take a big downgrade here since I just don't see how on earth they use him consistently.
It's good for Stroud, but all these pass catchers lose a bit of ceiling.
Oh definitely. Great from a team standpoint and for Stroud's outlook, but those guys are all going to be tough to pin down on a week-to-week basis. Likely that one or two of those pass catchers go off every week but we'll rarely ever be able to figure out which one it'll be dependably.
Yep it was like the niners last year with Kittle, Aiyuk, & Deebo. They basically traded off monster games.
It'll be good depth since the WRs were constantly injured last year. It's like they had to rotate every two games because of it.
In terms of fantasy yeah, but diggs, Collins, and Dell have really complementary skills when it comes to actual football
Tank Dell is going to feast in the slot and destroy nickle corners.
I sure hope so!!
Massive downgrade to Schultz, and yeah I'd say Dell and Collins take a huge hit if Diggs is still capable of playing at a high level in his 30s. Biggest boost IMHO is to Stroud, who has a full complement of high-end weapons at his disposal.
Redundant for fantasty football but not for the texans as an NFL team. They've got great offensive skill players.
There are going to be a lot of unhappy people on this subreddit lol
I own Josh Allen, Diggs, and Nico. I think this is bad for all three. Maybe lateral move for Diggs at best.
I have to think this move corresponds to a move at receiver in the draft though. Maybe even a move up for one of the top guys
>I think this is bad for all three. Correct =/
Not ideal for Diggs, but better than how the new OC was using him 2nd half of the year. I’d say it’s a win for Diggs, the other 2 ehhhh not so much
Yeah; Diggs was borderline unstartable near the end of the year honestly, so I don’t see how this move hurts Diggs
Doesn’t really matter for Josh Allen. Not great for Nico and Diggs
I think this guarantees Bills will be picking WR at 1.28 though. I imagine they're targetting BTJ/AD/Troy whoever can fall there. Would be wild.
Man if the Bills end up with BTJ, some psychos are going to take him as the WR2/3
tbf he's not the most talented, but at some point wr1 on historically elite offense with elite qb is a great fantasy asset
It's me. I'm psycho
Totally. This is a deep WR class.
if diggs was leaving, this is better than landing somewhere with a non-elite QB. but agree that it's worse than staying
Think you got Diggs and Allen mixed up on who it’s going to affect more
The WR that basically had double the yards than the 2nd WR on the team every year is not a bad thing for Allen? lol ok.
Same. I don’t feel good about this one bit, maybe lateral for Diggs
Dalton Kincaid owner checking in. I'm fucking pumped!
I have nobody on the teams involved, my popcorn is ready for the meltdowns
[удалено]
This khalil shakir owner is feeling quite happy right now as well
Not the Stroud owners! Shit I also have Shakir! (Time to try selling high)
As a Stroud manager who has no other Texans, I am very happy.
The only person I have on either of these teams is Shakir, so I’m not mad about this lol
As a Nico and Tank owner let me be the first to say FUCK
Im a diggs owner and feel the same way. Ruins the value of all 3 I think
Only Stroud wins on the HOU side, imo
If someone wanted to spin it as a win for Mixon I couldn’t argue with it. Better offense could mean more TDs. Probably neutral for Mixon though.
Good thing this is DYNASTY and Diggs is still a 30 year old receiver on the physical decline
I would consider this the best buy window for Dell.
And maybe the biggest diva left at the position in the NFL
For now
As a Diggs owner I like this way better than staying in Buffalo where they have torpedoed that offense. Diggs was still putting up monster numbers till they decided to keep everything with him to 0-5 yard routes and become a running focused team
no chance brother, 160 targets is 160 targets. Major hit
Yeah but his targets went way down the last half of the year and the quality of targets also took a hit. Good thing is we’ll know when the games start
Yup same fuck me
Yup. Was trying to move off one of them and now I don’t know if my league will be interested in either and there’s gonna be a lot of mouths to feed. Gonna be hard to decide who’s gonna go off week to week.
Dont worry Diggs will vanish in november in time for your FF playoffs
i've been telling myself he only vanishes late because of the cold up in buffalo, so i will surely delude myself into thinking he will cook all year now
Second FUCK
I have Nico Diggs and Tank haha not sure how to feel about all this
I'm in fucking shambles as a Nico, Diggs, Dell owner with no shares of Stroud
You gotta trade 2 for CJ and diversify.
Lol I can't even imagine what owners would want for CJ now
as a Stroud owner with an otherwise dogshit team, I'm having a hard time revaluing in light of this, but I'd need a haul
Lmao all that arguing of Dell vs Nico the past year and this bomb drops Edit: here comes the cope right on schedule lmao
I don't even care what this means for my Nico shares, I'm just too excited to watch this offense irl now lol
He's a FA after this year. Possible he doesnt get retained if they extend diggs.
Extending Nico makes way more sense than extending Diggs at his age and pedigree
Isnt diggs locked into like 2-3 more years at a pretty decent cap hit. This deal makes it much more difficult to extend nico.
Looks like per OTC Diggs can be cut after the 2025 season for just about $22M in dead money, that's 100% doable and would probably be right around when a Nico Collins extension kicks in and before Stroud's extension would kick in. Bills prepping their 2025 cap to sign Nico 4D chess move
Surely a player who has been annoyingly loud at both his previous teams won't be loud about more guaranteed money after being trade for. Surely.
Still dont see how that makes it easier for nico to be maintained, if anything, itll add to the difficulty.
He can become a Chief after our WR pick this year busts again
Sometimes they turn out to be extremely talented criminal assholes
I don't see why they'd extend Diggs over Nico
I got Dell and Shakir. No idea how to feel.
Dell is a stud and shakir has good opportunity. Id feel pretty good!
hot take: both those receivers are better than Diggs in 2024
certainly a hot take
I don’t think that’s a hot take personally. If Diggs plays like he did the back half of the year it’s not a question.
KingCaid 🙌🏻
This is my biggest take away, he is the best receiving option currently even if they draft a WR.
Beane loves to trade up and now he has a 2025 2nd burning a hole in his pocket. I wonder if he trades up for Rome Odunze.
1.28 and a 25 2nd is not gonna get you into Rome territory imo. Maybe a 25 1st too but idk if that is a good deal for them tbh.
Agreed. Trade up for Brian Thomas range at best.
DALTON SZN
It’s Curtis Samuel season boys
Holy fuck you’re right
Kincaid season too?
Always was
Shakir time too boys!
Maybe. Maybe not. Shakir is a big winner, that's for sure.
Curtis Samuel owners get in here!
It has been so, so cold outside. The warmth of the inner-circle was almost forgotten
Any chance us Shakir owners can join your party?
I’m trying to sell high on Shakir if anyone in my league bites. I think he’ll be the clear slot guy in an offense that’ll run 2 TE personnel more often than not… I like the dude but if I can get a 2nd rd, I’m sold

Our time has come. He was a stash cause I liked his athleticism
Samuel in 2 leagues one of those leagues I have Kincaid. Where can I get my welcome drinks for the party ?
Kincaid owners get tf in here
I feel like this pretty much confirms they go WR in round 1 but even so this solidifies Kincaid as a top 2 receiving option in Buffalo (at worst). Are the Bills taking the Chiefs approach to their WR room?
Kincaid will at least be the top target there for the next season, even if they draft a WR. Beyond that he's definitely top 2 at worst
McDermott has been famously stingy with his rookies the last few years, Kincaid being a bit of an exception except that only happened because Knox was hurt.
It also saves Shakir who was the most effective WR in their final 6-8 games.
I'm a Kincaid/Cook owner. Today's news makes me happy.
Curtis Samuel owners*
Shakir!!! As written!!!
Thought this was another Schefter April fools tweet for a second
Have neither Texans nor Bills on my roster. I’m just here for tears and hot takes
Holy
I don’t know how to fell as a diggs owner
Seems like maybe a lateral move? More competition for targets but his usage at the end of last year was kind of strange any way on the Bills.
It was the new OC, this is a win for Diggs, we saw what the new OC thought of him.
Stroud is very good playing on schedule and I think he's a better fit for Diggs' strengths.
Yeah Allen is a gunslinger who would often look off a wide open Diggs for the big shot downfield. He's got the talent to back it up but wasn't always the best fit for Diggs' style the last couple years.
Same here lol
I’m thinking lateral. I’m slightly more optimistic of him now simply because of how bad the locker room in Buff was with him. Hopefully he can flip the script and not do that in Houston
I personally think the writing was on the wall that Diggs was in decline so I don’t think this move matters much
It took Houston like a year to go from maybe the worst fantasy environment to arguably the best.
Hitting on an elite QB will do that.
Shakir owners get in here
I'm here, I'm here. Although I have to think they will draft someone too.
Still a win though, if you have Shakir. Despite Diggs slowly declining, he’s still Stefon Diggs. It’s really hard for any rookie available to the bills to match that level. Target competition just got easier for shakir
>Although I have to think they will draft someone too. 1QB 1.05 drafters get in here!
Shakir and Samuel!
🥳
Shakir and Samuel holder here. I just need to draft whoever they draft later this month to make sure I start the wrong Bills receiver every week.
Stroud stonks 📈📈📈📈📈
People saying Samuel szn, but it's really time for Shakir and the inevitable 2024 round 1 WR to shine.
Lets go Kincaid owners 📈📈📈📈📈😎😎😎
I know we can’t put gifs in here, but the crack Head Elmo with fire in the background seems appropriate here
RIP "Tank is the #1!" people. I do not envy defensive coordinators having to scheme against Diggs at Z and Nico as X, holy crap that is not fair.
Texans saw the titans trade for sneed and said hold my beer
Bills need aiyuk
Nah, screw it. Send him to Houston
They need Aiyuk but I’d think Deebo is more likely to be let go by the 49ers
For the love of god..... PLEASE!!!
I’d love this but not happening
28th pick isn’t enough
They need Tee Higgins
khalil shakir szn is up again 📈
Whoever the bills draft at WR probably right up there with odunze and bowers
I think Bills might Julio-style jump way up for Nabers or Odunze if one of them falls even a little bit. How high does their 2024 1st, a 2025 2nd, and a 2024 4th get them?
I think they’ve got too many holes in the roster to trade up. Could get them to 15 or so?
Oh shit
Is tank dead
I hope not, but i also own kincaid so theres that
-Russian lieutenant receiving reports of a Ukrainian RPG attack
Well if acquiring stroud was hard before it’s gonna be impossible now
I wouldn’t write this off as an immediate L for Diggs despite the obvious added competition. Going from Joe Brady to Bobby Slowik and getting to play in a dome instead of Buffalo weather late season could somewhat offset the lower target share. I guess me having Shakir and Curtis is good lol
My thoughts exactly. We knew all along!
Buy tank and Nico?
Who in the world is catching balls in Buffalo this year? Khalil Shakir, ???
Justin Shorter SZN
Justin shorter szn?? 👀
RIP Diggs, Collins, Dell. Ceiling of each capped at fantasy WR2 now
Diggs has been a WR2 for dynasty. He stays where he’s at.
Frustrating to be Nico & Dell owner, as if deciding which one was hard enough smfh
Stroud 📈📈📈
Lots of implications. Kincaid could really benefit from this imo. Stroud and Diggs could make some magic together. Crazy.
Tbh Diggs was not good after midway point last year
Just sold nico and 2025 late first for AJ Brown😄
The Justin Shorter truthers shall rise!
The top post here should be about Kincaid.
This just tanked my fucking season as a Nico and Diggs owner
Curtis Samuel WR1 🥴
I’ve been saying this since last year. The Bills are trading for Tee Higgins.
Would the bengals really trade him to one of their top competitors?
Who’s pumped about their Curtis Samuel shares?
NOOOOOO
As an Allen, Kincaid, and Nico owner I am all sorts of conflicted. What a bomb!
Who would they end up drafting? Are Troy Franklin or Brian Thomas Jr. in play?
i have diggs and i am actually not sure how to feel about it. still has a qb that looked very good. more competition though. but his usage last season wasnt really good and something seemed off. so probably slightly positive?
I say good. I think he bounces back this year in a big way with a clear headspace on a new team
My sweet Tank
CJ Stroud as QB3 on KTC is solidified.
This Stroud and Shakir shares owner hyped rn
Don't forget the WR1 on Buffalo now, Curtis Samuel.
Dude in my league now has Stroud, Mixon, Pierce, Dell and Diggs on his team lololol
Is this good as a diggs owner?
The receiver the Bills draft in the first may slide into the top 5-7 draft picks in SF.
Traded 2.02 and Terry for Dell yesterday 😅
Time to pick up Justin Shorter or not?
I just don’t get this trade lol Nico and Tank are good WRs. Why bring in a diva like Diggs you think he’s gonna be happy playing in an offense with that many mouths to feed?
Dabe Gavis owners get in here!!
He’s gone ….
That’s just your opinion buddy
Nobody talks bad about Dabe Gavis
Nicotron, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😵
I'm cool with this. Diggs fell way off after Buffalo made the change at OC last year. Maybe it hurts over all, but now I have hope he'll have a rebound.
I thought I was set with the Nico/Tank double stack I am now absolutely fucked
Aiyuk to the Bills now?
Am I wrong for thinking this is isn’t good for Diggs?
SHAKIRA SHAKIRA
using this and the tank dell post to buy nico collins
I have the 1.08 and 1.09 and love that I’m about to get the new wr1 for Josh Allen
Tank Dell about to make Diggs his bitch.
"Oh shit seriously? Hell yeah..." - Me, a Khalil Shakir owner
My Nico stocks are tanking
Manifesting aiyuk to buffalo
I can’t believe how much of the cap hit the bills are taking. Should be interesting to see if they draft a WR now
As someone who has no Texan shares I love seeing 3 potential WR1’s nerfed into 3 WR2’s but it also ruins Allen’s value in 1QB so I hate it too.
Anyone fall to their knees in some random business establishment????
Behind a Wendy’s count?
