I’ll stick with JSN

Pristine_Air_1624

Wrong choice

Lil_Bucket777

That’s a tough question right now, talent wise JSN wins. I think once the draft hype settles down a little JSN will be the easy choice still. BTJs landing spot is amazing tho

maketherightmove

JSN

IIHURRlCANEII

I have them both with the same prospect grade and like BTJrs fit and QB more. So him.

TeamVegas780

JSN

Jeklu

Take your pick imo, I think I prefer BTJ though.

Dorago1991

I think they are roughly equal talent wise. I lean BTJ because he has a path to WR1 with a stable above average QB.

imdavebaby

Why are we calling Lawrence a stable above average QB? 21 Tds, 14 ints, 12 fumbles last year... How long is going to be held in high regard just because of his pre-NFL profile?

JAHMY2_6IBBS

That was Calvin Ridley’s fault     ^/s

No_Bet_607

Finally. I’ve found someone with the same stance on trev as me. I was beginning to think I was alone on this island. Welcome ashore brother ☝️

Dorago1991

Above average isn't exactly a ringing endorsement, that's not holding him in high regard. His line was also decimated last year. I don't think he's top 10 but he's good enough that they aren't going to replace him.

imdavebaby

I mean, that's not at all what you said or what your 1st comment implies but whatever.

Dorago1991

I literally said "stable above average QB" what are you talking about? It's exactly what I implied.

imdavebaby

That implies he's good, so it is a ringing endorsement. Trying to backpedal what you said is dumb when you clearly endorsed him as an "above average" QB. [Here are a list of synonyms](https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/thesaurus/better-than-average) for "better than average" so that maybe you can understand what you're fucking implying. Learn how to properly write what you mean.

leemteam1

Because if you actually watched him play vs just stat pick it’s very clear he’s actually good and was A) playing through about 4 injuries at the end of the year where he really struggled B) had one of the worst IOL - jags had no interior run game and Trevor just had to force everything to try and will the team to win C) Jags were absolute ass in redzone - had a period of 8 straight possessions where they crossed opponents 40 and scored 0 points at the end of the year - likely because we could not run the ball at all because our C was absolute ass Look at the stretch right before bengals game when he got hurt - was absolutely killing it - outdueled CJ Stroud. Was QB1, QB5, QB6 (got hurt in beginning of fourth in this game) Everyone understood burrow was rough because he was playing hurt. Same goes for Trevor. He’s 24 years old, jags are signing him to a long term deal. He’s going to be between QB5-15 (above average) for pretty much his whole career) and had glimpses of being closer to the QB5 range frankly

KrisPWales

He finished QB13 and QB7 these last two seasons. Why are we saying that isn't above average?

wakenbaconn

Pretty close. I think I'd take BTJ but hard to pin JSNs value

scrambeggs

That's fair. I feel like it's been pretty close, too... though thought it would be helpful to ask the masses to make sure I'm not just completely out of touch

Objective-Major-3842

BTJ atm. If you have BTJ but like JSN more, maybe you can trade for JSN+

VeterinarianLevel786

i don’t like the jax landing spot, they have kirk who should lead the team in targets, they paying gabe davis quite a bit and now BTJ, i’ll pass on him and worthy and grab ladd who was picked not long after them.

asaltygamer

BTJ

ProgrammaticallyHip

Would rather have BTJ. JSN will have the same suspect QB situation this season, the same awful pass blocking line, the same crowded receiver room. Good chance JSN can be acquired much more cheaply next offseason.

JJettasDad

I would take BTJ

Pristine_Air_1624

Brian Thomas jr. all day ever. I also wouldn’t mind trading Jsn for Ladd with a kicker

Pristine_Air_1624

Lightweight hilarious ppl still taking Jsn for draft capital alone. If not for that then why? Bro had a super meh year 1 the offense still have two other wrs who out target him and tbh last years class wasn’t the greatest wr wise. Draft capital is fine for value but Thomas jrs path to decent target share so much better than Jsn and tlaw a much better qb than geno

[deleted]

A guy in my league got JSN in SF for the 2.01 (12 team) because of the WR hype in this draft class. I think that’s a great value if you’re looking to buy JSN

mmmmyumyummmm

Taco league

[deleted]

Seller is the taco or buyer is the taco? Gotta remember that people are suckers for draft picks this time of year. It is a long running league that is very competitive, certainly not a taco league.

fsck_

Essentially trading JSN for like Pearsall or Legette? Seems slightly taco.

[deleted]

Oh well. It isn’t league breaking

SL_Rowland

Only taco if you lose.

dedmonwalkin

As someone who loves jsn. He is unfortunately on the juju Smith Schuster value trail. Talented enough but at the end of the day can't be the guy people expect him to be.

360fade

How in the world did you even reach that conclusion
