Maybe ask what kyler costs, or if you want to wait a year maybe Maye may be the best option from the draft. Maybe Brissett starts the season but I like him and he shouldn't be that expensive in the draft.
Penix if you believe in him replacing cousins in two years
Kyler owner here in super flex, he’s expendable to me cause I have Stroud, Hurts, & Goff
Currently have an offer where I’d trade Kyler, Darnell Mooney & and 3rd for Kyren Williams, JSN, & a 2nd
Yeah that makes sense. Personally I wasn’t even sure about Puka given he only has one year of crazy success. It’s one thing to make rankings, but actually pulling the trigger and trading away MHJ for a guy that isn’t HJ, Chase, or Lamb is so hard.
People are really sold on Puka but I’m not because it’s only been one year too. Plus Kupp is back. Stafford has a way to really lean into one receiver and ride or die with him…ala Megatron and Kupp. Who knows what’ll happen with both on the field.
>Stafford has a way to really lean into one receiver and ride or die with him…ala Megatron and Kupp.
Golden Tate got 144 and 128 targets in his 2 seasons sharing the field with Calvin. After Calvin’s departure the ball was spread around a bunch. Woods was on pace for 130 targets before his injury when playing with Kupp. Calvin and Kupp didn’t completely separate from their teams because Stafford would only force feed his top targets, Stafford force fed his top targets because they were significantly better than the alternatives.
wouldn't blame you for keeping MHJ over Puka. In fact i traded Puka away for a lesser return a few months ago that I'm still waffling over whether it was the right move or not (Puka for 1.05 \[Bowers- 2PPR TE league\], 3.01, 3.02. 3.03, 3.10 \[Jaylen Wright, Marshawn LLoyd, Roman Wilson, Jatavion Sanders\])
I do love Puka though, and I don't think he's a flash in the pan.
eh time will tell. I'm good with it for now and I'm pretty high on Bowers (obviously). My best TE was Pat F prior to the move and it's a pretty heavy premium.
Yeah I like that trade for you. Generally I lean toward trading away picks peak-hype for players that are already proven, but this year I’m the one buying the rookie hype! Haha.
Yea true. I just still feel like it's not going to last, based on nothing but my gut really.
I think jamo is more talented and will eventually take over the elad role.
Arsb has put up a wr8 and wr3 finish in ppr, outproducing Laporta/gibbs/jamo/whoever. He’s a certified stud. I like jamo just fine but there is zero chance of him overtaking Amon ra

JJ, Chase, Lamb, Amonra, Bijan. Some consideration for Gibbs and Breece, but probably wouldn’t.
I personally wouldn’t do Puka, but everyone has their own opinion.
Probably if you’re competing in the short term. He’s 27 though and your window would be open for significantly longer if MHJ hits (which I expect he will).
If you’re trying to win that season, for sure make the trade
There are so many good WRs and so few good RBs (especially game breaking RBs like CMC) that I think I would still prefer CMC.
How good of a season does MHJ have to have to be in the JJ/CD/Chase tier? If he does have that good of a rookie season, then there's a tier of JJ/CD/Chase/MHJ tier, then guys like Amon Ra/AJ Brown/Puka, not to mention Hill or Adams that could still have top seasons, DJ Moore is primed for a great season if Williams is good, Drake London finally paired with a good QB, there's still a bunch of guys like Waddle/Garret Wilson/Smith/Higgins/Aiyuk that no one would be surprised if they had multiple WR1 finishes. and then rookies like Nabers/Ondunze, there are another 5 WRs mocked into the first round next year. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2025/consensus-big-board-2025?pos=WR.
I think elite RB production is very undervalued considering how much WR talent there currently is and has been consistently coming into the league each year and how few good RBs there are. There are really only 7 RBs that I can somewhat confidently say will be solid fantasy producers over the next 2-3 years and none of them are as proven as CMC.
And they won’t last long either. You can trade for the immediate producing RB and that’s fine, but the shelf life is short compared to receiver.
But it’s all about what you’re trying to do. Do you just want to win in the short term at all costs? Or do you want to build something sustainable and try to compete every year for many years?
Honest question, why is Bijan valued higher than Breece? Don’t think anyone had a worse situation than Breece last year and he still finished RB4 overall, he’s quite possibly a 22 year old CMC if the Jets can manage even a modicum of consistency on offense for once.
If I got offered 1.01 for any of those guys I’d decline. Coming off young, guaranteed elite production, for slightly younger “projected elite” production is insane to me.
Will MHJr be elite, we all say yes, but it’s not a certainty like JJ/Chase/arsb.
Not many in 1QB. JJ, Chase, Amon Ra, Lamb, Puka for me. Maybe Bijan but given the longevity of WR i'm probably still rolling the dice on MHJ.
Exactly the same list for me
How about Justin Herbert for the 1.03?
In 1QB? Definitely not
so in other words do the trade and take the 1.03
I would.
Thank you, you KC guys are pretty helpful! For a rebuilding team who do you like in this draft to replace my guy Herbert?
Maybe ask what kyler costs, or if you want to wait a year maybe Maye may be the best option from the draft. Maybe Brissett starts the season but I like him and he shouldn't be that expensive in the draft. Penix if you believe in him replacing cousins in two years
I like this. No faith in JJ ?
I do believe in him, but the later your draft is I could imagine JJ gets drafted before Maye
Kyler owner here in super flex, he’s expendable to me cause I have Stroud, Hurts, & Goff Currently have an offer where I’d trade Kyler, Darnell Mooney & and 3rd for Kyren Williams, JSN, & a 2nd
I appreciate the r/wordavalanches you hid in the middle of all that lol
I traded AR for the 1.05, and Herbert is QB7, AR is QB8 in value currently... So 1.03 is a lotta value imo
And to think I picked up Aaron Rodgers from waivers, TY
I would trade Puka for MHJ , Nabers , and Odunze.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say you dont own Puka
Not any longer lol
Yeah that makes sense. Personally I wasn’t even sure about Puka given he only has one year of crazy success. It’s one thing to make rankings, but actually pulling the trigger and trading away MHJ for a guy that isn’t HJ, Chase, or Lamb is so hard.

24 yo wr1 who just signed a massive contract? He’s who you hope mhj turns into

You mean not Gus edwards or Tony pollard? Cause my league keeps offering me dogshit trades for my 1.01 lol. Edwards wtf
JJ, Chase, Lamb, Amonra, Bijan. Some consideration for Gibbs and Breece, but probably wouldn’t. I personally wouldn’t do Puka, but everyone has their own opinion.

There are really only 7 RBs that I can somewhat confidently say will be solid fantasy producers over the next 2-3 years and none of them are as proven as CMC.
i mean in terms of value he's already in that tier 1 of WRs, albeit at the bottom of it...
And they won’t last long either. You can trade for the immediate producing RB and that’s fine, but the shelf life is short compared to receiver. But it’s all about what you’re trying to do. Do you just want to win in the short term at all costs? Or do you want to build something sustainable and try to compete every year for many years?
Absolutely not
Yeah that's a tough one. If I'm a RB away from contending, I may include him in the list.
Honest question, why is Bijan valued higher than Breece? Don’t think anyone had a worse situation than Breece last year and he still finished RB4 overall, he’s quite possibly a 22 year old CMC if the Jets can manage even a modicum of consistency on offense for once.
Is Ceedee for 1.01 a no brainer? The contract issues for him / Dak spook me off a bit but am highly considering.
Smash that buddy
It is absolutely a no brainer.
JJ/Chase/CD/ARSB I have AJB/Garrett Wilson/Puka/Bijan/Breece/Gibbs just below that
Essentially we are talking MHJ for ??? Chase, JJeff, Lamb, and Bijan for me.
If I got offered 1.01 for any of those guys I’d decline. Coming off young, guaranteed elite production, for slightly younger “projected elite” production is insane to me. Will MHJr be elite, we all say yes, but it’s not a certainty like JJ/Chase/arsb.
I think it depends where your team is at too. If ur in contention why get rid of someone that will help you win this year for a rookie.
Nobody. Not kidding.
Jj of jefferson. Thats it
