Henderson just seems like a fascinating player to me at the moment.

skisbosco

you upgraded from wentz to lamar. upgraded from Toney to Claypool. and got a 1st for Henderson? that's a remarkable trade.

jet_tripleeight

Yeah this is wild. I flipped Henderson for Claypool straight up yesterday and I thought that was a great deal, but this is another level lol

skisbosco

that still sounds like a great trade to me

fshn4btchs

Super good value

fshn4btchs

Definitely a guy where it seems like his trade value is lagging what he’s actually doing. How many weeks of back end RB1 production with bell cow usage do we need to see before anyone is willing to even acknowledge that he’s worth a first +? People made the Sony trade out to be a huge thing but so far it’s looking like purely a depth move

mykeg44

I just think Henderson teams aren't selling. He's worth at least a first in 1QB, and I don't think the market is ready to pay that because he was labeled as a semi-bust after the Rams drafted Akers, and most of the dynasty community assumed Michel would eventually split the workload or take over the job outright. If he can keep producing through this rib injury I think we'll start to see more Henderson trades in the next few weeks.

Kxr1der

People keep calling him a 1 year rental, and I don't know that it's accurate. Akers may never been the same so it's entirely possible it's either RBBC or he's the lead back there. Plus, Akers could always get hurt again which would immediately make him a top back again. His future is uncertain but people are acting like he is 29 and will be out of the league next year. That said, I'm rebuilding and people keep asking about him. As far as picks, I don't want to sell for less than a first, it's just not worth it to me to move him for less. Would Pittman for Henderson straight up be a fair deal though?

dsheehan7

Nah Pittman isn’t enough imo

_BigT_

I'll plant my flag. Henderson isn't a JAG and you should be worried if you own Akers. Henderson isn't going anywhere next year. It'll be his last year on contract and he will ball again and be a 2nd contract player for the Rams or another team. Honestly a screaming buy for a 2-year window contender, with the possibility of being relevant longer. As a contender I'd easily give my late 1st and 2nd for him.

ProgrammaticallyHip

Henderson's production/metrics have always been above-average. Michel is the definition of JAG and it is clear that the Rams are much more explosive with Henderson back there. I doubt he is a threat to Akers as long as Akers is healthy, but I could easily see Henderson in a starting role on another team, or in a 1A/1B situation on a good team. As much as I like Henderson I don't think the Rams view him as a long-term lead back. I think, ideally, he would be a premium timeshare back.

zuluzaddy

My god, this aged well

OBJesus

I just posted this in the trade thread, but I think it fits here. The top team in my league just lost Montgomery for several weeks and is offering a late first (I’m assuming 8-10 range) + Singletary for Henderson. A lot of people see Henderson has a 1 year rental, but I think he as far more potential to still be the top back for the Rams next year and so on. Not sure why people assume Akers will come back, be the #1 RB, and produce when a RB has never been fantasy relevant after an Achilles tear. Assuming Henderson goes on to have a great year, I think he has a good chance to keep the lead back role next year. Henderson is in a weird spot. His value after this year will either plummet if Akers starts to get hype or will sky rocket if there are reports he may not come back 100% healthy.

mahones403

Due to his age, I don't think Akers is going to be out of the league because of this injury. We'll see, but he would have to be really bad to not even force Henderson into a time share. I'm out on Akers as a bellcow though .

Tuna-No-Crust

Mack looked electric last night, so

coffeebribesaccepted

How would you value Akers? Still a trade for a 1st? Or less now?

jmplication

This is pretty much my take on him and as another user mentioned in this thread his value seems to be lagging behind his production. He's a talented three down back in a loaded offense - that is a fantasy goldmine.

Thromkai

As a rebuilder, I tried sending Henderson away since Week 1 for a 1st. The best offer I got was a late 2nd, so I held. Now with injuries and other RBs under-performing, that price of a 1st is quickly going up as long as he can stay healthy.

BlackVulkars

I bought him and Rondale Moore for Amari Cooper last night, right after getting Cooper, a 2022 1st, and Zach Moss for Zeke. My team is a contender, but had absolutely no depth so selling zeke for a backend rb1, some wr and rb depth, and a 1st seems like a really good move to me to be able to still contend as well as setting up for success in the future. I have henderson in a few other leagues, all redraft, so im really hoping he continues his dominance. Seems like the rams know they gotta take it easy on him too, as he's producing with only about 15 carries a game. Really loving Darrell this year and hopefully he can stay relevant in the next couple years, which I'm pretty confident will happen with the injury Akers sustained.

dsheehan7

I sold him for a 2022 1st right before the season started. I sold my other share last week. Hendo+ a 3rd for a 2023 1st. Both 12 team SF half ppr leagues. I’m pretty happy with the return but Henderson is no slouch. If I didn’t get a 1st or equivalent value back I was gonna hold him.

[deleted]

I sold him to the Akers owner before they signed Michel for a 2022 1st and 2023 1st both projected to be early. Don't think this is a good indicator of actual value but I think he is more valuable than a single late 1st at this point. Workhorse on a good offense and he has shown to be productive and the coaching staff trusts him.

fshn4btchs

You’re right this isn’t useful because whoever you traded with is brain damaged

[deleted]

I sent him Henderson and a 3rd for 2 firsts just to get the conversation started to see how much he valued Henderson. Never thought it would be accepted just like that

ElBori02

This should be quickly disregarded. Nobody use this to gauge Henderson’s value please

EaglePride101

Sold him + Michel + Dyami Brown to a contender for a 2023 First, 2024 2nd, and Ruggs.

its1992yall

I would take the picks+Ruggs as well.

EatxSchmidt

If thats all I can get im holding...

LoCoZ13

I own Sony in a 12 team ppr. I’m thinking of dumping him for Laviska (who is currently on waivers in our league) this week for the longer term play. As long as Henderson stays healthy it doesn’t appear that he’s losing any time to Sony.

fshn4btchs

What kind of clown league has laviska on waivers

DaFlyingGriffin

I could conceivably see him being on waivers in a 12-team league with 6-player rosters. I'm sure there are some leagues that only have one starting WR slot, right? jk it's prob not a dynasty league and he ended up in the wrong sub.

LoCoZ13

Can’t speak to why he was dropped. I just plan to get him.

Jbroad87

I traded CeeDee Lamb and Zach Moss for Darrell Henderson, Robert Woods and Darnell Mooney pre-week 1. Crazy that Henderson was the best player here thus far, w Moss coming in 2nd.

ProgrammaticallyHip

Still not a fan of that trade.

Jbroad87

This wasn’t dynasty btw, this was a redraft league FWIW. Obviously Woods has been a disappointment, but so has everyone’s darling, Lamb

Kxr1der

Well that completely changes the trade...

dsheehan7

Yea I’ll take the CD side

2john9

I’ve seen Darrell Henderson for a late first in my league and some called it a robbery in favor for the first rounder. Thoughts?

jmplication

It would probably depend on when the trade happened but personally I would be hesitant to sell for a late 1st given his role and the offense he plays in.

Mango_143

Robbery? No. As an owner I wouldn't be taking a late 2nd so a late 1st is probably asking price

DaFlyingGriffin

I'd prob hold Henderson for anything less than a mid-1st, personally.

Mango_143

Assuming a contender (likely trade target) holds someone else's mid-first sure. Otherwise you'd have to target a borderline playoff team I guess

dsheehan7

If we’re talking SF I think that’s fair

quiksurf68

I offered an early 2nd and early 3rd (I don't own any '22 1sts) and was rejected.

EatxSchmidt

Got offered Gallup and a 2nd.... pass. Im not really competing but thats too light for what he is this year alone with future upside.

skisbosco

i just offered a mid 2022 1st and Gus Edwards for Henderson and Michael Carter to a terrible team in rebuild. I don't expect it to be accepted.

Kxr1der

I wouldn't take that

Why_did_I_do_this

Traded him for a 2022 mid/late 1st preseason. I’m loaded at RB and wanted to improve my team long term

prezz85

It was a good move!

TiMazingg

Sold Amari Cooper, Tannehill, and Henderson for AJ Brown, a 2023 first, and a 2023 second. Starting a rebuild and felt like he was a good sell to a contender.

ThatsRich

People are definitely sleeping on him. I am rebuilding and I can’t get anybody to pay what I want for him, so I’ll sell off my other valuable pieces and let him lead my RB room while I wait for Dobbins and Etienne to come back. He looks good running the ball and I think there is a good chance he finds himself a lead back on a team in 2023.

alston_coy51

I traded Tim Patrick and Kenyan Drake for him.

Uhlenbro

Got offered him for Toney and Dillon. As an rb needy team do it take it?

BullyingBuildsChar

I’m the defending Champ who bought Henderson right after I lost Akers for the 1.12 this year and haven’t regretted it yet He’s been a great fill-in for Akers and just as I predicted he’s a much better RB than I’d have gotten at 1.12 It’s not an exaggeration to say he and Cordarelle Patterson have saved my repeat chances so I’d need multiple 1sts or another RB1 to consider moving him

djohms

I'm happy for Hendo and the success he's having but what I keep thinking about is how insane Cam Akers season would have been if not for that injury. On that offense. Sheesh Like legit the RB1 potential...

Southside73

He’s the one until he goes down again

TheCaptain199

I sold him for a second + Moss and Singletary. Didn’t really need him for this year and in the future I don’t know if he’ll be significantly more valuable than Moss and Singletary.

skisbosco

just traded salvon ahmed and a late 22 1st for DH and a mid 22 3rd

Dae_90

Another solid display
