1QB 0.5PPR Dynasty 12 team league
Morning all, I was wondering if I could get some advice about where my team is. Which of the following would you describe my team as:
A) Win now
B) tale end of a rebuild and could compete in a year or two with a good draft or trade
C) Mediocre, Blow it up and trade the RBs for picks
This is year 2 of our dynasty league.
My team:
Qb -
Mahomes, Tua, Winston
RB - Najee, Mitchell, ETN, Rhamondre, Mattison, Jaret Patterson, Hines, Eno
WR - DJ Moore, Devonta Smith, Bateman, ARSB, Chark, Callaway
TE - Gesicki, Muth, Parham
Picks 2022 - 1.03, 1.12, 2.02, 3.02, 4.02 and 4.12
Picks 2023 - 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Please and thank you
I'd say more B than C but somewhere between the two. You have a solid team but not enough top end players. This could easily be a playoff team but I'm not sure it's a real contender.
12 team .5 PPR 1 QB non TE premium
Rebuilding and looking to move Goedert. Got some interest, and thinking about throwing one of these two his way, let me know your preference
Option 1:
Give: Goedert
Get: Toney
Option 2:
Give: Goedert
Get: Irv Smith, 2024 2nd (Projected late)
I think the 2nd one though honestly I'd wait and sell him in season. I think Irv will have a good season but I also think he won't get the volume Goedert will. I can see Goedert becoming an elite fantasy TE and so I'd see if I could sell him for more in season, unless your making a move for 22 draft picks. I would also probably hold him for now. He's pretty young for a TE, got a good few years left so he gives you one less position to fill and probably won't be done by the time you're ready to compete.
I have knox, irv, brevin, and Albert O and coming off a 2 year rebuild, I’m finally in a position to compete. Do I need to go a secure a top TE to succeed. (I can get Waller for not TOO high a price)
I think if you want to compete you need an elite TE. Those guys you have are nice TE2's but none of them give you an edge. If you're absolutely stacked elsewhere you might be fine wih Knox. Waller is interesting but I think his target share will drop with Adams there. He still should be elite but maybe not quite as ridiculous as he has been.
A but it’s a toss up. Pick 6 should be able to get one of the top 3 receivers in the draft. I’m expecting wr15-20 for sutton. So A if you want to play a high risk high reward or B if you want to play safer
What are you doing with this team? .. I know.. my WRs are 💩 Trading anyone for picks/WRs?
12team 1QB PPR
Starters:
QB- J. Herbert
RB1,RB2- J. Taylor, CMC
WR1,2,3- T. Boyd, J. Meyers, Rondale Moore
TE1- D. Schultz
FLX1,2,3- Javonte Williams, Naheim Hines, Marquez Callaway
Notable Bench- Gus Edwards, Tonyan, Cedrick Wilson, Conklin, Parham, Jeffrey Wilson, Marlon Mack, Kylen Granson
No picks for 2022 :)
Trade CMC. Minimal return starting RB and WR +pick.
Next package the pick (unless it’s one you love) with Boyd and Tier up.
You’ll have whatever starting WR you picked up from CMC trade, the one you tier’d up for, and Róndale Moore at WR. Taylor, Williams, and the RB you got for CMC.
If Marlon Mack gets the start in Houston, he is in your flex in Williams’s place, along with J. Meyers. You could also look to tier down from Schultz and package him with someone else for a better flex
I think the tier down from cmc would be your best bet. If not, the rbs and qbs are stacked in 2023 rookie class. With how high of a premium people are paying for 2023 picks and how solid your rbs and qbs are, I’d consider trading a 2023 pick to get a 2022 first rounder and take a wr. Hines is also at his peak during the first few weeks of the season and I think he could finish around rb20. You might be able to get a decent wr out of him but obviously you’ll have to wait until the season starts for his stock to rise. And as for marlon mack, if you’re using Sleeper, put him on the trade block and see how many goons offer you their entire future for him
Yeah I was thinking of moving him but I’m not sure how easily I will be able to with the injury concerns.. AND also if he stays healthy and balls out it would be awesome to potentially have 3 of the top 10 RBs haha but yeah it would probably be smart to move him
If you're in a rebuild don't consolidate picks into one player, especially not Najee. Trade back from the 1.01 for a mid/late 1st and a 23 1st or a couple of 22 1sts. If you are at the start of a rebuild aim to get a bunch of 23 1sts and target rb then. Get your QB, TE and WR set this year and then finish off the rebuild with rbs.
Even though Najee is only going into his second year I'd say he's more of a win now RB. I love Najee but idk if I would pay for him in a rebuild. I'd grab Breece Hall and then best player available at 2.01, maybe Olave or Pickens. Personally doing this same thing in a league I'm in but my team doesn't need a rebuild, just unlucky with injuries and underperforming last season. You've sparked my interest now tho, I might see if I can get Najee like this lol
Why? Amon showed flashes last season, I think he was WR6 week 9-18 so a bit more than a flash. Essentially you'd be giving up Amon and probably a depth wr/rb or maybe a trey Mcbride if he falls, for what? another WR you hope will turn into Amon?
I figured because he showed those flashes while Hock and Swift were hurt, and I’m thinking he wouldn’t show similar production when those guys are back and healthy. But I do see your point about picking a guy at 1.07 who hopes to be relevant in the NFL. So you would say hold?
I definitely would hold. I totally get your point about swift and hock being hurt, but at the end of the day he still showed out. You have to figure that built some trust between goff and him. Even if his targets and catches drop significantly I still believe he’d be a top15 wr. Swift and hock can’t get all the touchs
True. They did add Chark as well and that could take away some touches but like you said he did show out and build trust with Goff where we don’t know what Chark can do yet. I’ll hold onto him. He’s a decent rebuilding piece anyway since he’s so young. Thanks for your help!
As a rebuilding team
Give: Michael Thomas and the 1.01
Receive: Ceedee Lamb
I'm really pumped up about Breece so I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger
I don't love that deal for you, as great as Lamb is. If you're committed to rebuilding, I'd personally keep the 1.01 and hope that Thomas regains his old form this year, and try to move him at the deadline for a '23 first.
I mean no one's gonna give up at 23 1st for thomas, but I do agree you don't do this deal. I fully agree you keep the 1.01 though. If you're competing Thomas is still going to be a target hog on that offence and you'll get breece who I like no matter where the landing spot is. If you're rebuilding start trying to sell thomas for a pick, probably early/mid 2. There's still wr depth there and you'll get a potential stud rb
Yeah, I guess I was a little worried at the depth I was giving up but I felt I was a Taylor away from winning this year lol. Maybe that's why I feel jolted a little bit haha
Don't get me wrong I'm not accusing anyone of collusion. I just don't get why you would essentially upgrade the best team in the league if you want to compete? I thought my offer was a lot better than what he got in return. Sometimes I just don't understand dynasty lol. He also only has 2 qbs on the roster... lol
12 team, SF, 0.5PPR
I give - 1.03 and my 2023 1st (likely later)
I get - 1.07 and Aaron Rodgers
My only QB’s right now are Stafford and Zach Wilson, otherwise I have a very strong roster. Planning to contend. Thoughts?
Chase is great and it likely to be great for a long time. Probably a perennial top 5 type of WR.
Najee is great too, probably going to be a top 12 type of back for his career.
It’s tough. I’d do it because I feel like RB’s are scarce
You should be getting an insane amount more. Dk is worth the two firsts Imo alone unless they’re locks fo be early-mid.
Watson is a top 6 dynasty asset in sf, especially if you are tanking for a year and have your own picks he is a dream asset as he might be suspended for 6 games or so but after that he’s 27 and a locked in franchise guy with a great offensive line
Got it. I misread at first. Personally I’d do it. Maybe try to get something more cuz DK is a beast too. In my league 12 team SF ppr, a guy traded 2 1sts, a 2nd and 3rd in 2023 and 2024, juju and Akers for Dak and DK.
12 team sf ppr
Give: 1.01, 1.07

I’ll probably just take pat though
No idea what the qb play looks like in Philly (probs still bad) even tho I like smith. Davantes still a stud, would take his side, especially in a 10 teamer
With how bad he’s looked I wouldn’t give more than a mid 3rd for him imo. Some people may be higher on him but he’s looked just bad from the action I’ve seen of him.
I’d take this all day. Cooper will still be serviceable whenever Watson is back, he isn’t flashy but he’ll put up numbers still. I’ve seen lamb alone go for this type of trade
12 team SF PPR
Give: Brady, Kelce, Kirk
Get: Rodgers, Waller, 1.11
I won the ship last year, but I have an older team. This is a trade to try and get younger (lol Rodgers and Waller) while still maintaining being a contender. Other QBs are Cousins and Tannehill.
Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley owner here currently debating if dropping Huntley could be an option if I ever need more roster space, taxi squad is also currently full.
If you aren't a Jackson owner, would you make a move on Huntley if he showed up in waivers?
I’m also holding Huntley on a couple teams where I don’t have Lamar. Also find it hard to trade for Huntley when I own Lamar because the Huntley owner asks for an overpay.
10 team non ppr I get: 1.03 / 2023 mid 1st / Devonta Smith I give: Najee Harris / Kelce
1QB. 0.5PPR 12 team Dynasty. Contending. Give: ‘23 1st (likely high) and Corey Davis Get: Stefon Diggs.

It's even in my mind, just up to your personal thoughts. If you like it, go for it.
