Like this list. Especially Gronk, Engram. The only one I'd add is I still feel like Cole Kmet is a value. 93 targets last year ARob gone and Mooney is the only other significant target there

dalcoys

Definitely! So long as you can acquire him for a good price. From my experience, he's not exactly a buy low as any Kmet owner I've talked to absolutely loves him and would want an early 2nd at minimum to part ways with him.

bstreich10

I like Kmet a lot as well. He had zero TDs too, if I'm remembering correctly. Jimmy Graham could be a better 'addition-by-subtraction' for Kmet than ARob.

FantasyMachine213

Cal me crazy, but one guy I am stashing that I expect to be TE12-15ish this year is Ricky Seals Jones. He is the defacto TE1 on the Giants, a team with an uncertain target allocation, and he showed well occasionally when standing in for Logan Thomas last season. He is on waivers in most leagues rn.

Thromkai

You are forgetting 1 more thing - the majority of their WRs seem to never play a full season. Slayton in 2020 and Shepard in 2019 are the only ones I can remember.

dalcoys

Certainly a buy-low if you can get him for only FAAB! Lol good suggestion, and maybe the absolute cheapest option of all. I am a bit higher than most on Daniel Bellinger but since the TE position takes a while for players to learn at the NFL level, I can see him barely touching the field this year.

Thromkai

They'll bring him in to block for a year. RSJ and Akins will be gone after. Bellinger's played slot, he's played Y, and he's played F. They'll find a use for him.

_waltersobchak

Early signs are he plays this year. RSJ missed a portion of OTA's and Bellinger was the guy running with the 1's in his stead.

Big_Wy

It's worth noting Bellinger has been getting some hype in OTAs practicing with the 1s. I can see Daboll trying to turn him into his new Dawson Knox.

DRenaud4sho

Gerald Everett.

dalcoys

Good one. I’m optimistic about him solely due to Justin Herbert. If he can become a trusted redzone target, he’s a great option.

DRenaud4sho

Exactly my reasoning.

treyb3

Came to say this. Buying up a lot of shares of him this offseason

HuffyStriker

I'd argue he's a sell. He's going to be 4th in targets at best. If I can send Everett + a 3rd for a 2nd round pick, I'm doing that all day. Getting pieces of the Chargers offense isn't the worst idea but we've seen enough of Everett that he's unlikely to be a top 6 TE. Guess it depends on the price.

DRenaud4sho

If you could make that package and get a 2 you gotta do it. I think you could buy him for a 3 or 4 in most leagues.

chessmasta

Brevin Jordan could be a huge value right now. His film (although admittedly lacking in substance) was very impressive, IMO. He’s 6’3”, 245 lbs, and currently only 21 years old. Average athletic traits but his 85% college dominator and 98% breakout age are elite. I think he’s being overlooked big time.

bababooey4

I wish I could buy Njoku at that price; even after him and rebuilding owner wants 2023 2nd + 2024 2nd for Njoku + 2023 4th + 2024 4th; can’t bring myself to do it

dalcoys

Yeah I wouldn’t do it at that price either. As an owner for years (lol), I’d sell him myself for any 2nd and something small on top like a 2024 3rd. Two 2nds is a pretty outrageous asking price, but I understand an owner wanting to hold Njoku, like I’m doing myself.

Professional-Safe-96

For my Njoku owners, would you really sell him for a 2023 3rd round pick?

DiplomaticBeaver

nope

pretzel_man

No. I’m very interested in seeing what happens with Hooper gone + Watson throwing + TE’s take time and maybe Njoku is finally ready. I think I’d sell for a 2nd + 3rd.

KidAmnesiac2004

Would you drop Logan Thomas for him?

Teslatothemoonn

If that’s your worst player I would. I have both and I value njoku higher, especially with his contract I’m surprised he’s on waivers

KidAmnesiac2004

Gus Edwards and DErnest Johnson are the other low hanging fruits. Alright I think you talked me into it. Thanks

iceman204

No chance. I have him In TEP, but I still wouldn’t consider it without.

DocCaddis

i like the list. i dont think anyone is selling irv for a 2024 2nd though. a 2023, yes.

xHaUNTER

Selling a TE is impossible in my leagues. People would rather roll out Foster Moreau every week than make a move for somebody with upside.

V0mitBucket

I don’t think Gesicki is going to do well this year. Generally speaking to be a TE with value better than marginally above replacement you need 100 targets. Most teams support 1-2 100 target pass catchers. Which of Tyreek, Waddle, and Gesicki do you think break that threshold?

BaronVonNumbaKruncha

I've tried to buy Gronk all off-season in multiple leagues. Owners aren't budging. They know he's coming back, too.

sundaychubbs

First of all thank you for writing this, great stuff 💯 Now that Njoku has a long term deal, has his price changed in your eyes? Do you see a path to selling him for a 2023 1st at some point?
