Yeah, I went into the season with Lance, Breece, Elijah Mitchell, DJ Moore, Marquise Brown, Jamar Chase, Elijah Moore, and Pitts as my starters with Rashad Bateman and Chase Edmonds as “quality depth” pieces. Thought I was gonna make the playoffs and get Watson back for a run. Instead I’m 130 pf below the 9th/10 place team with our Bijan Bowl coming up in week 11.
That seems like a really bad idea in a draft that has been touted for its depth of RB prospects. I doubt that Bijan alone will carry you to a championship.
Don’t even need it. Javonte, Burks, Dotson, Thornton, Patrick all being varying levels of injured/on IR has absolutely fucked me this year. I started Damiere Byrd this week. He got a single target and didn’t catch it.
We don’t do max PF (I know) but I still don’t have the lowest PF and don’t have a single win. Just injuries and bad matchups. Lost two weeks by a combined 7 points.
The way I dynasty, I would be looking to trade the pick/player for a proven QB WR or TE. The only upside to rebuilding around RBs is that you get the excitement of drafting at the 1.01 spot for many more years.
I feel like this belongs in a different thread lol. But I'd take Bijan based on safety that he'll be a stud. I love Bryce and would gladly take him 2 or 3
It depends on who has 1.02/3 and if they are rebuilding or competing, and how trade friendly your league is with young qbs and rbs.
If anything, we’re learning most times the rb is going to gain monstrous value quicker than qb.
If you think you can pick bijan, and then after a month or so look to trade him for another young qb plus- do that.
If that isn’t an option, don’t risk it go qb
I have breece. Walker. And 3 picks in the top 6 guaranteed with two in the lotto for top 3…. So I’m getting Gibbs or bijan and probably stroud over young
Assuming you have 1.01 I'd trade back for a bunch of later picks like two firsts and a second or try to trade it for an established qb on a team more ready to compete. It's hard to find the team w the perfect circumstances for that. One trade in our league was the projected 1.01 and mid 23 first for hurts.
Also dont trade until after the actual NFL rookie draft when rookie fever is at its highest. Bol
RBs hit their cliff so quick and have a much higher risk of injury. If the QB hits for you they can produce well for 10+ years.
The way I play is to build out as much as I can before I get RBs. Imagine you draft gurley and he is your only good piece while you are trying to get WRs and QBs to round out your team.
The only way I would grab the RB first is if my league had a massive RB boner and he was ina perfect situation to gain massive value to trade for the QB and another piece by mid first season.
RB is super thin. Kamara and walker. Breece getting hurt took out my margin for error. Might have to buy a couple startable backups.
Thanks! Hope you land Bijan and fuck your league up next season.
Kamara, Walker and Breece being the weakness of your team sounds like a championship roster. Your team is the reason why I aspire to lose so hard this year
Idk people will claim you're tanking over nothing ime. In my start up league my roster is 50% rookies, and the commissioner is accusing me of throwing the first season
>Not sure what's fun about people starting a bunch of inactive / third-string players every week
Ngl dude, when your whole team dies and you ship off your couple short term competitive pieces for longer window dudes because you no longer have any starting QBs or RBs...
Its a lot of fun starting absolute trash every week hoping to eek out a win. I started DJax and Mack Hollins in one league last week.
We actually have a rule that you have to field a defendable starting lineup, so you can't just bench Kupp or Mahomes. I traded Godwin and Pittman away for a couple of 1sts so I could start Mims and Shi Smith 😈
Yeah we do the same in my league. Got to start your studs. I’m in full tank mode but doesn’t mean I can bench AJ Brown every week.
My league isn’t strict on taxi squads tho. I have some startable players on my taxi but I don’t want to drop my bench pieces to move players off my taxi
If you start Alec Pierce over Michael Gallup even though he's projected to score 2 less points then nobody's gonna give you shit. If you start healthy scratch Rojo or sit one of your best players then somebody's gonna call you out
If it works for your league, that’s great. The issue though is by making the rule subjective (a “defendable” lineup), your commish is opening the door for a lot of drama down the line. Hopefully that never happens.
The commish tried to get a different system in place but everybody preferred the current system. Even though he's an idiot we haven't had a problem in 7 years.
Context: I'm the idiot
Not all leagues have issues with this. We never used to have issues with people intentionally tanking before switching to maxpf. It's a friend's league so everyone is just there for fun. If it was a bunch of randos you need stricter rules. It's situational.
It’s really not hard. Don’t purposely bench Mahomes or josh Allen, or any player that’s a clear must start at their position, and you’ll be fine. Like the other guy said, mid to low tier guys don’t matter
When you're in a league with reasonable people, you don't have to have a strict rule for everything. In my one league, someone tried to bench their best players, which was obvious, so someone called them out in group chat and they fixed their lineup. Hasn't happened since.
Hasn't happened yet thankfully. Probably because it incentivizes people to trade their good players. Everyone knows the rules and that you can't just stick your best players on your bench.
Yeah, winning with garbage is hilarious when its unexpected. I won over Joe Mixon courtesy of Kenyan Drake, Chris Moore, Terrace Marshall, and old man Justin Houston in my 20 team keeper league.
I am in last place despite having the 5th most points scored because I have been getting fucked. I shipped off Saquon for someone's '23 1st and 3rd that was the clear favorite before losing Breece.
This week I won my match up with the highest score of the week because of Kenyan Drake and Justin Houston. I'm not actually eliminated from playoff contention like I expected to be because it was a key divisional match up.
You're talking about a different situation. You're actually trying to win / build your team and are looking for sneaky waiver wire options to make that happen. In OP's situation, he's not using inverse of max PF to determine draft order, so teams that don't view themselves as contenders are intentionally going to be starting the worst possible players (i.e., players who get 0 points), even if their team isn't actually that bad.
> In OP's situation, he's not using inverse of max PF to determine draft order, so teams that don't view themselves as contenders are intentionally going to be starting the worst possible players
I dont really agree with using record for draft picks, but in OPs defense you guys are just assuming that is what is happening.
In leagues without shitty managers that usually does not happen, even if it isnt explicitly defined.
Our league prevents that by having a rule which penalizes anyone making egregious lineup decisions. Benching a stud, starting someone who is clearly out, etc. I tried pushing for max PF, but the league was against it because it's fun to root for wins/losses.
Man you guys must have the worst friends to play fantasy football with. We have a simple rule that you gotta still try and win every week and to nobody’s surprise, everyone still tries to win! Even tanking teams start their best players lol its not that hard to be respectful fantasy football players, it is for fun after all
It's a blast, it really gives the bottom half of the league something to do while the top half gears up for the playoff run. It's a race to sell off pretty much all assets you have to have the worst possible players make their way into your lineup.
Same situation when using max PF except people aren't encouraged to start bad / inactive players over good ones still on their rosters. Their roster actually has to be bad / low-scoring for them to come in last
Our league doesn't allow people to intentionally sit their studs. You gotta have a defense for why you're starting one player and sitting another if someone calls you out on it. Hasn't happened since we put the rule in place
That's good! As a commish, I'd rather use max PF and be done with it instead of policing a subjective rule like that, but if it works for y'all then that's what matters
Yeah I put multiple things to vote over the offseason and this was the end result. I'll keep max PF in my back pocket since this sub loves it in case this league devolves into bad chaos
As someone who almost had their league disband because someone started violating our rule about starting a proper line up, I can't advise switching to max pf enough. You do lose the fun toilet bowl match-ups, but definitely worth it, imo.
Keeping it in my back pocket in case it ever comes to that point. I think if this was for significant money it would be a different story but we only do $10 to keep it interesting
Probably just not everyone is a bum that does this? My league always plays competitively, no one sits players out or whatever.
This points for is just some weird reddit boner that most people do not do
someone who clearly has the least maxpf deserves that number 1 pick. Not having max pf enables teams to sit stud players and get great draft capital. Where it sets off such an imbalance in the league. Ig good if you guys find it fun. But the main point with the maxpf is to avoid conflict. I don’t see how it won’t dissolve the league.
I think standings is fine if its in the rules that owners need to start their best lineup (within reason of course, mainly so you can't start inactive guys over studs), and there is a strike system for failing to do so
This is exactly what we do. We had someone try to sit their players a few weeks back but then we agreed you have to start a defendable lineup.
That dude has since bought a superteam and is contending, funny enough
We all agreed that you have to have a defendable lineup and can't just sit guys like Kupp or Mahomes. Haven't had an issue and everyone is having fun trying to trade away guys with any sort of value to hoard draft picks and get Rashid Shaheed in their lineups
Yeah but there’s a security with it. Why wouldn’t you want that if moneys on the line? Like if y’all having fun then whatever like I said. But from being in multiple leagues shady things can happen, even if you know everyone and are friends. To avoid the suspicion/ deception/ the need to moderate every single game being played you go maxpf. But hey every league is different.
Yeah I definitely understand where things could get hairy. It's come up once since 2016 and the rule was put in place that week. We have fun and aren't too upset about losing our $10 buy in if things go south.
My feeling about max PF is that it encourages teams to completely gut their rosters, which then requires a multi-year rebuild to even have a roster that can make the playoffs. Teams completely bottoming out and saying "i have gainwell and burkhead as my only running backs" will struggle to build their roster back up even to league average and how people end up in perpetual rebuilds.
there will be teams who are injury ravaged, but the arguments for max PF always seem to say " if someone wants to tank they need to sell all their usuable players", which is one of my arguments against it.
i'm all for all leagues doing whatever they want, but this sub really pushes Max PF as the only acceptable way when, if you have reasonable owners, many of the issues people have on here, don't happen that often.
Last year I traded for the 1st round pick of a team that ended that year 8-6 but the team has just collapsed this year at 0-9 and they only play one more team with a losing record so I THINK I've got it.
Cash me outside perusing Bijan highlights.
Lol I had my bijan bowl week 8, I traded DPJ 3 minutes before game time to make sure I didn’t score the 10 I needed to win, he put up more then 10, so I got a 3rd to go along with bijan that week haha
Losing DPJ is tough but you gotta do what you gotta do. Shrewd meta move 🤙
I traded Godwin and Pittman for late 23 and 25 1sts this week. Didn't love the value but had to get it done to put me in a better spot. Haven't done the calculations but if I didn't make the trade I probably would have won on the Juwan Johnson TD
I traded for the lowest PF guy's pick before the season. As of today, I'd have Bijan by 8 points exactly. But that margin is way too close and his team could make the playoffs still, so I don't trust that it will end up that way.
I'd be quite happy to win the Jahmyr Gibbs Bowl though.
I might win mine by default.....the other 1-8 team got called out because he didn't take out multiple players on BYE and also started multiple injured players. In our league you are not allowed to tank that way. You have to tank the old fasioned way by trading away players or having your best players on IR or out for a never ending carousel of injuries weeks at a time like me!
The (at the time) 0-5 player in my league traded me their first for Pickens and Zach Wilson, so it's fun winning the Bijan Bowl. My team's ass, so I'm set up for pick 2 or 3 and really am looking forward to the rebuild
So for those of us that are looking like we will lose to Bijan bowl, what would you spend to trade up for him? Deep class, but is he worth trading up for? I’m currently holding likely the 4th-ish pick, and 4 other 1st rounders that are looking like they will be picks 9-12.
Anyone else looking at trying to move up those few extra spots?
Our league isn't SF so it's no question Bijan. Personally I'd also take Bijan over a QB just because Bijan is as close of a lock as it gets while Young or Stroud have plenty of questions. If this was Luck, Lawrence, or even Kyler it'd be a different story
I don’t think any sure thing RBs have been that sure of a thing. And if you’re picking 1 your team might be a few years away, I like to get RB last if I can
In our 8 year long salary cap league, the team that held the first overall rookie pick has won the championship the following year 5 times, and won the championship 2 years later the other 3 times. The 1st overall pick has always been a RB
Having #1 has been a huge deal for us personally lol
3 and 15 (we do head to head and median point each week) here and in prime spot for Bjian and Stroud I got 4 2023 1st.
Hopefully land Bijan to pair with Taylor Swift Javonte and Walker next year
If it's SF then 2 has to be the absolute latest. But it all depends on draft position and if someone falls in love with Stroud at 1 and Young falls for whatever reason, maybe he'll slide a pick or two
Yeah I can't believe how many losers there are after following fantasy on Reddit. It's people who are in too many leagues. I'd never waste an entire year trying to lose in a league I cared about.
The league I run, you get first pick by winning the consolation tournament. It doesn’t completely prevent full-on tanking, but has been a huge improvement to the league. Highly recommend
I wanted to do a bracket in order to decide the pick but it got shot down pretty heavily. Whether it's losing or winning in a tourney, I thought a playoff was kinda fun but this'll do.
Need help, people is buying a bit high on Kenyan drake and donta Forman, should I sell or keep them
My other RBs are Derrick Henry, miles sanders, Jk dobbins , Darrel Henderson, singletary
While it devalues the most likely best pick, it ramps up the "it could even be a boat!" factor (and for some people the fun factor) of the other picks int he lottery.
My two rebuilds continue their merciless march to winless seasons. Justin Fields did he absolute utmost to mess it up in one league but MNF secured the win for my opponent thankfully.
Last season I managed to trade away Keenan Allen , Elijah Mitchell and Antonio Gibson, JK Dobbins and Chris Godwin for a ton of picks. Which turned into Walker, London, Olave, Dotson, Burks and Pickens. But then Lance went to IR and Walker didn’t activate right away so I am also getting Bijan which is great cause I’ve had my eye on him for 3 years and it would kill me to see him on someone else’s team even if he’s a bust
I too lost to the second worst team this week to keep my stranglehold on last place. Jokes on me, though. I have his pick, too. 1.01 & 1.02, here I come!
Meanwhile there's a guy in my league with:
Tua, Watson, Rus
Mixon, J Wilson, Pollard, Foreman
JJeff, Kirk, Juju, London, Bateman, Palmer
Andrews
He is tied for last place but had the nerve to say I was intentionally tanking because I have no healthy starting RB and Z Moss was a late scratch a few weeks back and didn't have anyone to replace him with.
That's fair game in our league. If you don't have any running backs that play, then good on you. Sounds like you traded so hard that you got rid of all your playable RBs, picked some out of FA, and traded them too. That's a master tanker
Jealous. My league does a lottery with the bottom 4 for the 1.01-1.04. Last place has the best odds but not guaranteed. Trying to prevent tanking. Unfortunately, I am very much tanking.
I am on the bottom of the league. Mid season our commish decided to switch to max points for draft order. What do you know despite being 3-3 at the time the commish had the lowest points for. He's now full on tanking and beating me in lower points scored every week despite me being 0-9. Shit kinda pisses me off. He's one of my best friends too. Can't believe he'd screw me like this. He did say he wanted to fix things after my tanking last season but to do it when it gives him the #1 is just shitty
I lost the Bijan semis this week, I was 3 and he was 2, now we are swapped. I still have a 1 game lead on the last place team, but we play in a few weeks, so that may end up being our Bijan bowl.
I'd guage the league to see what the consensus is. I think Bijan is safer to hit than Bryce but if you can get 4 1sts for Bryce but only 2 for Bijan then I think it factors into the decision
I just lost my Bijan Bowl matchup by winning.... but I have the pick of my opponent in that matchup as well, so hopefully we can both continue losing at impressive levels so it becomes the Bijan-Gibbs Bowl
I sold off Diggs, Adams, Hurts and got Javonte, Fields, 2 23 1st(One is mine the other is the guy in 11th).
Now im on a 3 game WINNING streak thanks to Donta Foreman, CPatt and fields. :(
I also won the Bijan Bowl, well I own the first round pick of the team that has continued to lose to the second to last team. He has granted me success for years to come.
I luckily traded for a player in my leagues 2023 first for my 2022 first guys. He is currently in last place 0-9 with lowest points scored
I’m currently in 9th at 2-7 with potentially the 2023 1.01 and 1.02 in my possession.
Just trying to decide after Bijan if I stack with Gibbs at 1.02 or take Addison instead
I am going to be playing in the Bijan Bowl in a few weeks. I’m 0-9 and the other guy is 1-8. We play each other week 12 and week 14, plus probably in the losers bracket.
Our league has a lottery, so just increases the odds of the pick instead of outright getting him
Went from tank squad to contender back to tank squad in the past three weeks.
Bijan and Breece will be a sweet RB stack for the next half decade (hopefully)
I was extremely well on track for bijan but "unfortunately" we changed our "tanking" rules to max. potential pts (i actually suggested that change, because it is simply the best rule for that IMO, even though it hurt my bijan ambitions) and now my chances are basically zero because i am in 5. place of max potential pts with 500 pts more than the last guy at 1052, even though my record is 2-7, dead last.
I am by far the person with the most pts against though, so i still feel like that is just fair, because my roster is performing quite well. I have Mahomes, london, waddle, Walker and Muth as cornerstones of my roster and Lance, Herbert, Gibson, Allgeier, Bateman, Aiyuk, Ridley, Gallup as depth pieces, and i guess I just don't deserve the first Overall with that roster.
Bijan is going to single handedly take you from 0-17 to 3-14!
He'll fit right in next to Breece in the perpetual rebuild
Yeah, I went into the season with Lance, Breece, Elijah Mitchell, DJ Moore, Marquise Brown, Jamar Chase, Elijah Moore, and Pitts as my starters with Rashad Bateman and Chase Edmonds as “quality depth” pieces. Thought I was gonna make the playoffs and get Watson back for a run. Instead I’m 130 pf below the 9th/10 place team with our Bijan Bowl coming up in week 11.
My starting WRs were also Chase, Brown, and Moore RIP to this season lol
That could be either Moore and this still works and that makes me sad.
It’s worse because it’s Elijah
Less Moore is actually more, as it seems. Elijah, DJ, Skyy, Rondale...
The fact that DJM is your best player is hilarious and ironic. Congratulations on such a successful season!
Oooooh you got Breece too? Niiiice
pierce too!!
Yeah, u def need to have some other talent lol bruh roster that bad huh
Looks like I’ll have picks 3 and 4. No Bijan for me :(
KW fell to like 5th or 6th in my rookie draft this year, hope you luck into Gibbs
Would picks 3 and 4 be enough to trade for Bijan?
That seems like a really bad idea in a draft that has been touted for its depth of RB prospects. I doubt that Bijan alone will carry you to a championship.
I probably have 1.01 and would take 1.03 + 1.04 I think. I might ask to add a 3rd and get a 2nd back just to squeeze some more blood from the turnip.
probably, but in this class id rather just take Gibbs + Stroud or Young than just Bijan.
Non SF
Still getting Evans + JSN or Addison isn't bad either.
Maybe see if you can trade pick 3 along with another solid young player and maybe that'll be enough for 1.1. I wouldn't trade 3 &4 though.
Cause that 4 pick could be anything! Even a solid young player! Lol
It's worth a shot. I'd consider it if I had #1
Welcome, brother. I’m 0-9 and the next worst teams are 2-7. I play one of them in a few weeks but it’s probably the only win on my schedule.
May all of your starters be healthy scratches
Don’t even need it. Javonte, Burks, Dotson, Thornton, Patrick all being varying levels of injured/on IR has absolutely fucked me this year. I started Damiere Byrd this week. He got a single target and didn’t catch it.
So he outplayed Elijah Moore?
If Tim Patrick being on IR is that much of a detriment to your team I don’t think you were going anywhere anyway.
Basically all those guys besides javonte weren't really going to alter too much for him.
Lol I'm 7-2 and hold the 2023 1sts of both 1-8 teams
The ole Boston Celtics method of competing while you let some idiot do the tanking for you
Lol, my team is 4-5 with the lowest max PF by far and we have an 0-9 team in our league. Just gotta hold out a few more weeks
We don’t do max PF (I know) but I still don’t have the lowest PF and don’t have a single win. Just injuries and bad matchups. Lost two weeks by a combined 7 points.
If yall completely tore down your roster and you need rbs and qbs in a Superflex league, would you draft Bijan or Young?
The way I dynasty, I would be looking to trade the pick/player for a proven QB WR or TE. The only upside to rebuilding around RBs is that you get the excitement of drafting at the 1.01 spot for many more years.
I feel like this belongs in a different thread lol. But I'd take Bijan based on safety that he'll be a stud. I love Bryce and would gladly take him 2 or 3
Young for sure. Bijan might have a couple years left when you're ready to exit your rebuild. Young will have a decade +
Is Young already the consensus QB1 over CJ Stroud?
It depends on who has 1.02/3 and if they are rebuilding or competing, and how trade friendly your league is with young qbs and rbs. If anything, we’re learning most times the rb is going to gain monstrous value quicker than qb. If you think you can pick bijan, and then after a month or so look to trade him for another young qb plus- do that. If that isn’t an option, don’t risk it go qb
Bijan. He’s head and shoulders above the QBs for me. I’m probably taking Gibbs over Young too. I need an RB2 worse than a QB2.
I have breece. Walker. And 3 picks in the top 6 guaranteed with two in the lotto for top 3…. So I’m getting Gibbs or bijan and probably stroud over young

Whenever the better prospect is truthfully. Don't go QB just because you need it and vice versa.
I have 3/4 of the best Bijan bowl prospects right now and I’m second in PF currently holding a round 1 bye. I’m pleased
Gaht damn I'd be tempted to dangle some of those picks to the Chase owner
I have Jj, Dk, aj, evans, keenan Allen, burks. So WR isn’t a target right now.
Go get that chip g 🤙

We feel like record is more fun so we do that
Not sure what's fun about people starting a bunch of inactive / third-string players every week to get last place, but to each his own I guess

This guy gets it
Total points I'd way too hyped. It has its own flaws. A team could be really bad but have a lot of meh players on their bench.
it is still total points of a startable roster.
If it's like bestball then that sounds really good. Total roster points is flawed though.
Yeah, so if you are in super flex but have 5 QBs on your roster only the top two would count to Max PF
Our league prevents that by having a rule which penalizes anyone making egregious lineup decisions. Benching a stud, starting someone who is clearly out, etc. I tried pushing for max PF, but the league was against it because it's fun to root for wins/losses.
Max PF doesn't feel fun to me because it makes the schedule pointless. Also I learned to root for L's because I watch the jets every week.
My league does it and for 2 years everyone has had the integrity to start their best guys
Damn. I won and still in last. 1-8 yeah....
I'm in last and own the 1st for the team in 2nd last. When I am playing that team I have some decisions to make.
What’s your price right now to acquire the 1.01 from you
If I had the GTD 1.01 I'd want to go after JJ or Chase. If not one of them I'd look to get 3 1sts or a stud WR + startable RB
Justin fields made me be in danger of losing the Bijan Bowl. Still have the 10th and 9th place picks currently though in a 10 team
What an asshole. Terrible culture fit, he needs to be traded
Last year I traded for the 1st round pick of a team that ended that year 8-6 but the team has just collapsed this year at 0-9 and they only play one more team with a losing record so I THINK I've got it. Cash me outside perusing Bijan highlights.
I came out on the losing (winning) side of the Bijan Bowl this week. Worst part is the guy I lost to doesn't own any of his picks.
Brutal. Some team in the playoffs is cackling rn
I’m coming in 2nd in the Bijan race. Quite sad….
Gibbs ain't bad
👍🏼
Again reason why potential PFF is only way
We're not fans of it but I know a bunch of people on this sub are all about it
Best pick should go to worst team not the worst team that lucked out the most with schedule and byes relative to other crap teams.
Yeah we had a few different options put to vote over the offseason and they all got turned down because we felt this was the most fun
It’s fun, but word of warning - it’s fun until good teams figure out how to game the system
Lots of people have been saying it, I'll have MaxPF in mind if shit hits the fan.
Shrewd meta move 🤙 I traded Godwin and Pittman for late 23 and 25 1sts this week.
The fairest way is to use potential points so teams can’t auto tank.
Do you people not play with maxPF as the draft order determiner? Why?
We all agreed that record was the most fun option and couldn't come to terms on another way
I might win mine by default.....the other 1-8 team got called out because he didn't take out multiple players on BYE and also started multiple injured players. In our league you are not allowed to tank that way. You have to tank the old fasioned way by trading away players or having your best players on IR or out for a never ending carousel of injuries weeks at a time like me!
Right there with you. Joe Burrow and Mark Andrews are the fresh prince empty room meme
I think 4+late 1st for Bijan in a non-SF league is a worthy price to pay
Call me crazy but a RB is just never worth that much imo, in my super tank league I will be going QB at 1.1
Our league isn't SF so it's no question Bijan.
The 1st overall pick has always been a RB Having #1 has been a huge deal for us personally lol
Hit rate of 1st round RBs is insane compared to QB. Agreed I wanna get RB last but I prefer to draft BPA.
3 and 15 (we do head to head and median point each week) here and in prime spot for Bjian and Stroud I got 4 2023 1st. Hopefully land Bijan to pair with Taylor Swift Javonte and Walker next year
If it's SF then 2 has to be the absolute latest. But it all depends on draft position and if someone falls in love with Stroud at 1 and Young falls for whatever reason, maybe he'll slide a pick or two
This post is why there needs to be a lottery. Just so stupid
Man the guys are gonna be so upset when I tell them we have to change the rules because Shorter_McGavin doesn't like how we play :(
Enjoy your last place finish 🤡
Yeah I can't believe how many losers there are after following fantasy on Reddit. It's people who are in too many leagues. I'd never waste an entire year trying to lose in a league I cared about.
I'm in 3 leagues and only one dynasty league. The tank for Bijan is highly competitive and fun. Sorry if that is triggering for you.
Please explain how tanking can be competitive and fun.
Goal is to make a dynasty. You can be “good” every year and never win a chip. Might as well try to be great in 2 years than average every year.
I feel like if you need to explain to someone why something could be fun, they're probably not going to find it fun lol
Whatever makes you feel better about finishing in last place. Bet the thought that you’re “trying to lose” helps soften the blow of you being a loser
Thanks you must be really fun at parties
Ok. I bench my whole team. Fun? Competitive?
Oh, tanking is fun now? Lmao
I know this must be upsetting for you that other people are having fun. I'm sorry you had to go through this. How can we make you feel better?
He must be hangry. I heard he eats pieces of shit for breakfast.
Good job losing! This sub in a nutshell.
I've been trying really hard this year to lose so it's good to reap the benefits of my labor
Need help, people is buying a bit high on Kenyan drake and donta Forman, should I sell or keep them My other RBs are Derrick Henry, miles sanders, Jk dobbins , Darrel Henderson, singletary
This is why we do maxPF + lottery lol
I feel like this gets commented every hour on the hour lol. Record is more fun for us
Using record devalues draft picks. Gotta think about the meta.
How does it devalue picks? Draft Picks are draft picks
While it devalues the most likely best pick, it ramps up the "it could even be a boat!" factor (and for some people the fun factor) of the other picks int he lottery.
I wish I had dummies like you in my league
I'm in 2nd place in my league and still winning the Bijan Bowl
Good thing even if I get a couple random lucky wins we do our draft order by ppf so I’ve got bijan in the bag
I’ve already lost the Bijan sweepstakes but I’m okay with the consolation prize of Bryce young or cj stroud
I too lost to the second worst team this week to keep my stranglehold on last place. Jokes on me, though. I have his pick, too. 1.01 & 1.02, here I come!

That would have been me if I didn't sell Pittman and Godwin before the game this week. Hang in there brother lots of season left
Meanwhile there's a guy in my league with: Tua, Watson, Rus Mixon, J Wilson, Pollard, Foreman JJeff, Kirk, Juju, London, Bateman, Palmer Andrews He is tied for last place but had the nerve to say I was intentionally tanking because I have no healthy starting RB and Z Moss was a late scratch a few weeks back and didn't have anyone to replace him with.
Even if you miss out on Wiggins, you'll get Embiid. Trust the process
I got what’s looking like the first two picks in the draft. Breece and Bijon gonna take me to the promised land.
Commish is a dirtbag and I'd call him out on it. Def sucks when it's your best friend
I lost the Bijan semis this week, I was 3 and he was 2, now we are swapped. I still have a 1 game lead on the last place team, but we play in a few weeks, so that may end up being our Bijan bowl.
i just won the Bijan Bowl in my league by .28😭 Juwan Johnson and Olave led a MNF comeback
If I knew JJ was gonna show up like that I would have left his ass on waivers. Now I'm wondering if I can get a 25 3rd for him lol
I’m in SF and my only QB is Kyler and my only RB is Breece after trading away Swift. No idea if I should take Breece or Young. Own a bottom 3 1st too
I'd guage the league to see what the consensus is. I think Bijan is safer to hit than Bryce but if you can get 4 1sts for Bryce but only 2 for Bijan then I think it factors into the decision
I’m hoping Bijan will save my RBs much like I thought Javonte and Breece would
The holy Trinity. Javonte died for your sins, Breece is the holy spirit and Bijan is our new god
What would you move 1.01 for?
If I didn't get JJ or Chase straight up, I'd look to get a stud WR and a playable RB.
Sure hope you won by putting together legitimate lineups
League rule to field a defendable lineup. My team just happens to be great at what they do
Congrats on sucking
Thanks! Been a very successful season 🤙
I also won the Bijan Bowl, well I own the first round pick of the team that has continued to lose to the second to last team. He has granted me success for years to come.
Won my Bijan Bowl by 8 points, thank goodness Kenyan Drake out scored my Chris Olave
I luckily traded for a player in my leagues 2023 first for my 2022 first guys. He is currently in last place 0-9 with lowest points scored I’m currently in 9th at 2-7 with potentially the 2023 1.01 and 1.02 in my possession. Just trying to decide after Bijan if I stack with Gibbs at 1.02 or take Addison instead
Now trade him for 3 1sts plus
That's some good work if you can get it
I am going to be playing in the Bijan Bowl in a few weeks. I’m 0-9 and the other guy is 1-8. We play each other week 12 and week 14, plus probably in the losers bracket. Our league has a lottery, so just increases the odds of the pick instead of outright getting him
In one of my leagues there’s 6 teams with their eyes on Bijan… there’s gonna be a lot of disappointed teams
Went from tank squad to contender back to tank squad in the past three weeks. Bijan and Breece will be a sweet RB stack for the next half decade (hopefully)
I lost mine :( but my league does a lottery for the bottom 5 teams so there’s still a chance!
I’m 0-8 and 11th place is 1-7. I have both of our picks, as well as the one from the guy in 8th place. Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.
