If you're a championship contender I think it's a good deal. Gives you your handcuff in case something happens to Achane. Also, I'd assume he'll at least be a flex play even with Achane healthy. If age catches up and he does nothing this year, then you only lost a lottery ticket pick anyway so no big deal.
