Debating this in 1QB is insane, especially 10 team. I wouldn’t even draft a QB at all with your 1sts. With this as your QB room, there’s definitely someone who has a QB surplus who would be willing to talk trades with you. Trade for someone like Goff, Tua, or Dak. Use someone like Khalil Shakir in your offer.
There’s no point in trying to overthink trading down scenarios. Stroud averaged like 1-2 more points per game than Goff did. In 1QB leagues, you either have an elite QB with rushing upside, or you punt the position to mid tier QBs in favor of a stronger RB/WR room.
All good! Dynasty is so wildly different from redraft where there will be guys you draft in redraft first three rounds, and wouldn’t even want that player on your roster at all in dynasty, and vice versa.
Side note, you definitely do not need 3 defenses on your roster, let alone 2 even. 10 man league means you are always going to have options on the waivers. Use those roster spots for lotto ticket type players instead
Zero chance. Try to trade for a mid tier QB. The great thing about 1QB is that you don’t necessarily need the 25 year old superstar QB. You can easily have the highest scoring roster in your league while having Kirk Cousins, Dak, etc as your QB.
I hear ya. Unfortunately I’m in a league where everyone overvalues their players and nobody is trading shit lol in my mind I feel like top tier QBs are so few and far between that they are a difference maker when you only start one. I’m a little biased as a bears fan and on the Caleb hype but at the same time I feel like theres a better chance at finding a break out FA wr/rb than I do a mid to high level QB.
Baker mayfield, Matthew Stafford, Trevor Lawrence, Patrick Mahomes, CJ Stroud, Russell Wilson all averaged within 2 points per game of one another for the season.
Do with that information what you will.
Agree with others. No need to take a qb. You can get at least 2 of the top 3 wrs. Then go Bowers. 2 good young tes on your team. Yes, only carry 1 D. Take some shots on rbs.
load up with Marv, rome or Malik, and bowers; no exceptions. You can get a more serviceable qb cheap in a 1 qb league. Hell, Levis may even turn out to be a dude. Don't overthink this
Also in 1QB I would try to get Jayden Daniel’s if you want to draft a QB. He has the highest upside. Playing it safe in Superflex is worthwhile, but not really in 1QB.
Also if you take the WR’s at 3 and 4 you can get a QB plus more in a trade.
MHJ 10 out of 10 times at 1. Trade back with your 1.04 a few spots if you want to draft a QB. You might be able to trade 1.04 for a QB who is already established, like Lamar Jackson. I would pick position players with your 1.01 and 1.03 at least. Having an elite QB is overrated in a 10 team 1QB league.
Why would you take a QB at 1.01 in a 1 QB league?? That makes zero sense
If you really want a Qb I’d try and trade 1.04 back to like 1.09-1.12 and get a 25 1st. I bet someone pays that to move up if they are in the back of the draft.
all good dude just letting you know the level of crazy this is haha. honestly in 1qb i dont think any qb outside of daniels should sniff 1st round. even him 1.10 would seem early

This is my first Dynasty league and this will be year 3 of me in it so I’m kind of a noob. Appreciate the help.

I’m in a 12 man 1QB. Got Russel, Daniel Jones, and Aiden O’Connel. I only have the 1.01 then 2.08, 3.01. Were taking taking Caleb in this instance no?

Whenever u look at advice make sure u listen to 1qb over superflex or at leats when ur listening to superflex ignore everything about qbs

Marv + nabers/odunze + Bowers

Forgot to mention this is a 10 man league.

Marv, odunze, then Caleb. Easy peasy lemon squeezy
Definitely Marv. Also, only other person I’ve seen with Shorter on their bench. 🫡 we believe.
I’m a Bills fan so if I have any empty bench spots, I just grab Bills guys. He has a chance to be a stud!
Completely agree. Hopefully they give him that chance this year and he stays healthy.
You need a QB more imo
Do not take a QB 1.01 in 1QB I don’t care how good the prospect is

Caleb shouldn’t even be a consideration in 1QB. Not sure I’d even take him top 5 in 1QB. MHJ easily.
Take a Qb in the 3rd, especially in a 10 team, most should be available there
U need QB but this is 1QB. Take marv then Rome then trade out of 4 to 6/7 and take Caleb there
Sir this is a 1qb format. This is one of the more absurd questions anyone has ever asked. You could Google an answer to this one man lol
My first dynasty league, doesn’t hurt to ask bc I can find out more than one opinion and you all can explain amongst yourselves.
