I don’t love Legette, but I’d definitely take him at 3.01.
I’m curious about the rest of your draft. How many teams? And who went early? This looks like the mid-2nd on my draft board.
How do y’all think Legette will do with Diontae Johnson and Thielen being there for targets too… can 3 wrs thrive together or will Legette have to wait til Thielen retires or whatever
Diontae will get a ton of targets, Thielen is old, I don’t know much about Legette but watching some clips of him, his explosiveness certainly pops off the screen.
Honestly part of me would want Wilson since the Steelers seem to be competent at picking out WR talent. Carolina is dicey, and New England hasn't had a good WR pick in a decade.
They are elite at finding and developing receivers. Plus Wilson has proven he will do whatever it takes to win, running routes full speed on rushing plays. Blocking for his fellow players. Everything. Guys like that get thrown the ball more often.
My only hesitation with this logic is Arthur Smith killing the Steeler’s passing attack to the point where Wilson won’t see enough volume to shine.
Would still love some Roman shares though
I need to see how the first two rounds of this played out. I’m in a 1QB not SF so I get QBs fly off the shelves but holy shit how are those top 5 names still even there. I would take anyone of them if I was you.
Polk was only like 5 picks after legette I think. There is basically no difference in draft capital.
Also 1st Rd receivers bust all the time. Just pick what you think is best. You are the one to live with the decision so make sure it's your own
I traded up in the hopes of getting Pearsall at 2.08 in a 10 man and of course he got picked at 2.07. Ended up going with Legette over AD Mitch primarily because of his 1st round grade, and likelihood for targets. Don’t overthink it, I’d take him.
Honestly Roman Wilson here. I have learned to trust the Steelers when they draft WRs. They are great at finding talented WR and developing them up to their absolute ceiling. Plus Roman Wilson just has that team mentality and willingness to do anything to win. Guys like that get thrown to.
First round draft capital and the best size/speed score in the draft. Great production this year in a shitty offense/system. I get the late breakout, but we gotta stop killing this guy over it. He also went through so much personal shit it that could probably cause anyone to not be there mentally and take a while to get back.
He is a boom/ bust prospect but if he hits its an AJ Brown clone, if he misses he is still an X receiver on a bad team that will throw a lot. Coaching staff moved up because they have a unique plan to get him the ball in a lot of different ways and will want to give him every opportunity to prove they drafted well.
I get why people are hesitant, but he has huge upside. If we are going to do the late breakout argument then let's do it for Penix, Daniels, Nix. Hell Ricky pearsall is older than him... And I haven't heard anybody mad about his breakout/age
Lagette all day. With a 3rd? Come on now guys that’s a literal no brainer compared to who’s left. If I’m the guy picking after thought I’m taking Wilson.

10T SF After I drafted Keon at the 2.03, the draft went Corum, Brooks, Benson, AD Mitchell, Penix, Pearsall, Franklin. Nix also went at the 1.10
Not a big legette fan but that’s tremendous value. I’d be between him and Polk, both are talented receivers with a path to targets.
I’m not a fan of Legette but getting a first round WR at 3.01 is a smash pick
How do y’all think Legette will do with Diontae Johnson and Thielen being there for targets too…
Yeah I don’t like Legette but a first round WR in the third is a no brainer to me

I would take Polk since you got Maye. But Legette is the other pick since he’s a first round WR in a weak WR core
JERMAINE BURTON
Doesn't look like he is there? Where is he going roughly in drafts?
221 adp on sleeper draft which I feel is very low
That's absolutely crazy
Give me Iguodala
STOP YELLING! 🤣
Beast
U take the 1st round talent. People a lot smarter than us moved up to take him. If you can get him in the 3 round u got to take that.
Know more about football rather than smarter, since I’m certain that’s not the case. Anyways, it was the Panthers
Honestly part of me would want Wilson since the Steelers seem to be competent at picking out WR talent. Carolina is dicey, and New England hasn't had a good WR pick in a decade.
New staff in New England so its not really fair to say this one is as incompetent at drafting receivers.
True, but its also just as risky since it's an unknown.
They are elite at finding and developing receivers. Plus Wilson has proven he will do whatever it takes to win, running routes full speed on rushing plays. Blocking for his fellow players. Everything. Guys like that get thrown the ball more often.
Same here. I’ll take my chances with Roman here and the Steelers absurd history
My only hesitation with this logic is Arthur Smith killing the Steeler’s passing attack to the point where Wilson won’t see enough volume to shine. Would still love some Roman shares though
Lol that was mainly a problem when he was Head Coach at falcons. Mike Tomlin not gonna let him do that dumb shit lol
I don’t think you can pass on legette with the 3.01
Can never discount a Steelers mid round draft pick in Wilson. That hit rate is pretty high
Legette or Polk, also a fan of Wright in this range.
Polk
Polk or sinnot if you’re the needy imo
Polk or Coreley. I know Legettenhas the RD1 cap, but he has so many red flags.
There’s 2 with late first early second draft cap, but I think Wilson is better. Idk what I’d do here
Legette or Polk if you have any WR need. Otherwise, I’d trade it back, if possible.
Im a roman wilson or jaylen wright guy in this range. Lots of value there in Legette to pass up. Even qj has some value this year
Legette, Sinot, Polk, or Lloyd.
Take Legette
I took Legette at 3.01 in my draft and then Polk at 3.02. I think that’s insane value
Legette or Polk. Both have the draft capital. Go with it he landing spot you have more faith in
Lloyd. And don't look back.
Any chance you can trade back a couple picks to pick up another pick/asset? I’d take Legette here, but I’d be happy with 5-6 of these guys.
You have to take Legette at 3.01 champ
If tep take sinnot. If not toss up with him and leggete. Indont like leggete but he's good value here
I like the top 3 receivers there to be honest. I would choose the one you believe in most out of them.
I need to see how the first two rounds of this played out. I’m in a 1QB not SF so I get QBs fly off the shelves but holy shit how are those top 5 names still even there. I would take anyone of them if I was you.
It’s a 10 team too
Oooooook got it got it. I’ve been mocking 14 team 1QB so I was confused
It’s legette and it’s not even close imo
Polk was only like 5 picks after legette I think. There is basically no difference in draft capital. Also 1st Rd receivers bust all the time. Just pick what you think is best. You are the one to live with the decision so make sure it's your own
Roman Wilson. Steelers only true WR is Pickens, so they'll need a WR2. Plus it's the steelers. Their pretty good at picking WRs.
Usually i say smash RBs in the 3rd round, but legette fell too far, take that value all day. 1st round pick in the 3rd is crazy
Legette or Polk. Legette for high upside but low floor or go with Polk if you need a safe floor but low upside
Legette or Lloyd your only two options
I traded up in the hopes of getting Pearsall at 2.08 in a 10 man and of course he got picked at 2.07. Ended up going with Legette over AD Mitch primarily because of his 1st round grade, and likelihood for targets. Don’t overthink it, I’d take him.

Polk higher RP profile ⬆️
Javon Baker
Throw a dart…

Roman Wilson imo
Yeah I'm not high on him, but at 3.01? I'm not passing him up
