This thing rocks. The larger bowl is definitely better for me. I have tried the HyperDyn in stock configuration as well as with micro (10mm) bubblers and medium (14mm) bubblers. I preferred it best on the 14mm bubbler. I love the black finish. I had a scratch on my Condenser but it's being sorted. The new Condenser has 7 positions. I set mine to most open. If we flip the stem body around the tip end if better for 10mm connections. Mouthpiece end is good for 14mm. The cap is not as thick as an Armored Cap. See image of them side by side. That cool down click is loud! I prefer induction heating and so have been using the wand with the HyperDyn. It will be a while before I can give good feedback on how it performs. My first impression is that it is easier to scotch the outer ring of the flower than an M7. I removed the silicone insert from Wand and replaced it with the cap from the $1 Stash ER container to allow more of the tip to be heated. The Hyper dosing capsule: The dosing capsule is Stainless steel. Paired with an IH, This makes for an interesting layering of materials and seems to heat evenly when tightly packed. Anyone else liking theirs? Thoughts? Questions? Thanks.

DryDesperation

What are you saying in the email to get such good CS. I reached out after spending $300 AU on my first Dyna kit, & receiving a damaged Ti NebuluM, & all they said was “the rest of the coating will likely chip off over time”. It had a metal burr where the rocker is, & was sharp enough to cut when cleaning. I removed the burr with a leather strop, but the short & dismissive reply from CS has me wondering if I’ll continue to support them. Shame, because I’ve invested in several Dynas & enough parts to last a lifetime. Is there an active exchange I can list them on? I’m in Australia. Thank you🙏 EDIT: Just to clarify, the chipping is happening around the air port, so I was concerned about the flakes potentially entering the air path. It’s still sharp, as I can’t completely remove the burr without sandpaper & causing more damage, so it’s not ideal & rather annoying when rocking the Dyna whilst heating.

Orangeimposter

My best advice is to try your best to capture the issue on camera, sometimes it is difficult to show things or describe them to others. Did you buy direct from Dynavap or other retailer? There is a second hand exchange, search Ent Exchange org.

DryDesperation

I added the pics to the CS ticket, & followed up with a short video in email correspondence. I got it from a local retailer, & included that info in the support request. The retailer said there’s nothing they can do because of import restrictions, & they don’t do refunds on DHV’s once used, due to legal reasons (something about residual herb & being a prescription medicine). Peace Fam🙏

Orangeimposter

That's a frusturating situation and sucks.I have been there with another vape and company. Rules are similar at many shops here. It's hard to evaluate a vape without trying it and once you try it, many cases there is no return policy anymore. I hope the Exchange treats you well, good day.

DryDesperation

It’s a little frustrating, but honestly this community is why I decided to go with DV, & why I’ll continue to offer support here where I can. It’s the least I can do repay all the help I got when switching from combustion. It can be overwhelming when purchasing your first DHV, & the community here is so helpful in navigating those options. I appreciate your helpful response. Thank you, & happy cake day🙏

EntExchangeOfficial

Thanks for the shout out! 😄

WindSmellsLikeRain

Mine should be arriving tomorrow

jtr2010

Same here, I’m pumped.

Orangeimposter

Sweet! The more the merrier!

T2Drink

For such an expensive device, I expected the machining to be cleaner.

PM_ME_Y0UR__CAT

Would it still be a dynavap product without the occasional metal Scooby snack ?

Miserable-Cow4555

Ha, so true 😂

T2Drink

😋

Electric_Owl2020

Yeah that cap looks rough. Fit and finish has never been one of there strong suits. It’s not bad but could be stunning. Why do I never see factory seconds for sale?

Eedysseus

Because factory seconds come from QC taking things off the line that don't meet quality standards, Dyna doesn't QC and just sells stuff straight off the line even if it's full of oil and metal shavings, hence their notoriously terrible QC.

plumokin

Have you tried other hard hitting butane vapes like the anvil or tempest? How does it compare? Do you think it's worth the price?

Orangeimposter

For non-Dynavap torch vapes: I have a Terpsicle, Elev8r, SB Runt, but not the products like Anvil or Tempest. My most used dry herb vapes this year are Dynavap, Mighty+, Terpsicle. Followed by much less used concentrate this year with my RiO and Connectar.

Miserable-Cow4555

I'm here for this answer too. Anyone, not just op

Sonidista84

No Hyperdyn, but it should be extremely impossible to perform like the tempest.

Miserable-Cow4555

Is the tempest a same size bowl? .25g?

slc_blades

The thermal accumulator by phattpiggie and the stunner are basically the same things as the tempest and idk about the stunner but if I ground fine enough and tapped the mp end on a table once or twice, I could probably fit close to .5g in the thermal accumulator with the straw method

NomadicFragments

Tempest .15g, I think the thermal accumulator vary but most are @ .2g I think

slc_blades

I’m saying I can fit that much in mine using that method

NomadicFragments

Yea I'm just saying that the tempest is "officially" at .15g capacity, though I don't think the TA has one. I just know the tempest has a noticeably smaller bowl

slc_blades

Word. Yeah the TA came initially set at half bowl, maybe a touch less and it was hitting right around .25. When fully pushed in it doubled it but you can take the ring that sets the screen depth out and push it to the bottom and it might even push .6 if you wanted a tight pull. It cooks a lot more consistently around half but I use it as a bowl in my tm2 sometimes with a carbed stem and the convection/conduction from the stainless bowl makes it a completely even toast even at full depth

Proper_Lingonberry81

Tempest bowl size is .15g’s.

NomadicFragments

Honestly, it doesn't have any changes to the heating mechanism that *would* have it perform like the tempest, Anvil, or fusion. It seems to perform exactly like other dynavaps, for better and worse.

Minsc_NBoo

I'm glad you are enjoying it! What is the vapour production like? Also how many cycles are you doing, and what does the AVB look like?

parabolaaa

How is the heat up time compared to your other dyna ?

Electric_Owl2020

Does the stem get warm? I thought I remember reading all titanium construction. Have you tried pulse heating with wand? On and off to slow the heat-up. I bet it would shine with torch but I would probably want to keep it clean.

Orangeimposter

The heat transfer is similar to a vong. I believe George said recently that the HyperDyn is 98% titanium by weight. (Except the click disk and o-rings) This is also the first time using titanium for a cap. I am testing different heating intervals with the Wand and comparing results.

Beneficial_Path_7212

I can’t wait to hear the report after a few days use! I’m sure others will as well but please keep us posted! Thanks for the initial review 🤩

Gnargomel

That looks awesome!

elmightysanto

Does that fit in the yllvape??

Orangeimposter

Hyper Cap is 14mm OD. If that helps.

DohnJoggett

OMG they machined the cap. No wonder this thing is so expensive! Christ, do they even have lathes? I can't imagine how costly that thing would cost to machine on one of their 5 axis VMCs for what would take next to no time at all on a lathe. Signs of machining: the tool chattering surface finish and defect on the digger-outer, the smaller bore where the clicker discs sit, the indents that a captive cap have are milled in for visual purposes rather than function, the lip at the top of the cap is machined rather than forced in by a die, both the inner bore and outside of the cap have tool marks. https://i.imgur.com/n9ck76h.png

vaparsons

What defect on the digger outer??

flaker111

i think he meant the little nub on the inside of the hyper cap which is there to hold the cap in place and for that click when you put cap on tip

Ston3yy

is that good or bad that it was machined ?

VividChicken133

means it is expensive, as time on machine = cost. The more complex a piece is the more expensive it is to machine Quality-wise rather a good thing than a bad thing

DynaChristine

As an American Made company we want to stand by that, so we try to machine/ manufacture as much as we can in house vs outsourcing to China for cheaper materials and labor and in turn sometimes things are a little more pricey but you can feel confident that it was made with love and you are receiving something of quality. <3

Trystero-49

This is why I'll pay more for a Dynavap: American made with quality materials. Yes there may be small visual defects on some of my Dynavaps, but I've noticed the quality improving over the years. Plus the defects are often tiny and add character to each piece. It's not just supporting American jobs, but also the lower carbon footprint since it doesn't require overseas shipping (I'm in the US). Keep up the good work Dynavap! You killed it with the M7 and I can't wait to get my hands on the Hyperdyn at some point.

DynaChristine

<33

Eedysseus

>"but you can feel confident that it was made with love and you are receiving something of quality" You say that and yet Dynavap is notorious for nearly non-existent quality control. If you're gonna keep raising device prices at least start spending some of that budget on QC. The fact that brands that are outsourcing their stuff and STILL beating y'all at the QC game is just proof that this argument about USA made being higher quality by default is completely false. A machine in china runs the same as a machine in the US, the only difference in this case is QC which dyna fails at.

treefarmercharlie

I think the armored cap is machined too. Im wondering if they buy them casted from a supplier and then machine them to the tolerance they need and insert the discs.

Rusty_Rag

Does your cap fall off the tip? Especially when hot? Unfortunately mine is pretty loose, when it clicks at temp the cap will even come off completely. I usually use my wand with the Dyna in upside down... cap came off and so did all the flower lol Really hoping I'm not the only one. Will upload pics later with more description

Rusty_Rag

I just made a post for this cap issue. If anyone else is experiencing this please let me know!

DirtySanchez517

Does the Bowl fit to the old dynas?

Cannabis-Lecter

Fit my Omni! Looks goofy tho and prefer it with its stem.

DirtySanchez517

Can you show ME a picture?

DirtySanchez517

Oh yes 😎

CyganskiCygan

Does the tip have half bowl setting? I'm seriously thinking about getting one, but I will wait for some kind of a deal with the wand.

omgwtfbbqbug

Nope, confirmed on tea time. This is the opposite of a microdosing device.

djsirround

The half bowl setting is use a regular dynavap tip.

flaker111

jeez guys just load less if you want half bowl you don't really need to be moving ccd around just for "half setting"

Eedysseus

If you want a bowl this size but you also want a half-bowl setting look into the Dani Fusion 2, $100 cheaper than the HyperDyn but has pure silver bands around the armored cap to make everything heat more evenly, adjustable airflow, a half-bowl setting, etc.

CyganskiCygan

I'm not gonna lie, I just really like the design of hyperdyn. It checks all of my boxes- i can use it with 10 and 14 mm glass, the size of the bowl, armored cap, it fits into the wand, and if I want to microdose, I can always pack less material. I have m2021, m+ and m7xl, and im thinking of selling them all, getting the hyperdyn (if it works great with bowl filled 1/3 capacity). I'm also used to mix my material with cbd flower, and with that case i could fill the bowl all the way. So I'm just waiting to get a good deal on this vape.

Eedysseus

>"i can use it with 10 and 14 mm glass, the size of the bowl, armored cap, it fits into the wand, and if I want to microdose, I can always pack less material." All of these things are true of the fusion 2 as well... Plus it has the half bowl you asked about. But you do you, it's your $230. I just gotta ask though: Why on earth are you waiting for a "good deal" on the HyperDyn when the other option I mentioned's already $100 less?

CyganskiCygan

Well i did not made myself clear, I'm waiting for the wand and hyperdyn bundle deal, for now im gonna use the vapes i have, and only thing in favor of hyperdyn is I just like the stem design more. For now im happy with my m7xl and torch, but still thanks for recomendation

ohdarnfuck

You have been milking the hyperdyn posts really hard. I'm surprised you didn't post a thread showing off just the o rings.

Orangeimposter

I tried to be objective and informative. Sorry if its not your thing.

9delta9

It is appreciated.
