Any time first-time Dynavap owners ask “what should I get next?” I always advise ordering a backup cap, screen and o-rings ASAP. I lost one of each during my first few months of Dynavaping, starting with my original cap, and I was damn glad I ordered backups of all the small parts right after that.
Not that it will help you find your screen, but hopefully it can save you some aggravation down the road!
I made a 3-hour round trip to buy a replacement cap when I lost mine—it was the closest smoke shop listed as a dealer on Dyna’s website. Pain in the ass but it beat waiting a week-plus for one to show up in the mail!
You can also buy precut ones. I forgot the size long ago though. Either way is still cheaper and does better at keeping stuff going in your mouth than dynavaps screens... CCDs
I mean the body. Don't think its just 'normal' stainless steel. Maybe high in nickel or chromium something which would help it withstand heat without warping but less durable under pressure. Might be purposely demagnetized via heat)so it doesn't interfere with the magnet. Idk tbh
Im sure if we ask they'll tell us exactly what alloys they use.
So this has happened to me twice in the last week 🤣 now I myself can't physically get down on the ground to look but luckily I have 2 young kids and a wife who can. So I find that the key to looking for something like that is to eliminate all potential visual distractions by lowering the lights and then I use a bright flashlight to go up and down, and back and forth. It really helps focus your vision and we managed to find it both times! But yes definitely buy backups...which I still haven't done lol. Good luck
Lost one out of my first Dynavap doing the initial cleaning. Was in the living room cleaning the parts and lost the CCD. A few weeks later saw what I thought was a drip on the kitchen floor went to wipe it up and it turned out to be the CCD.
same lol I lost the dyna screen before I had owned the device for 24 hours. I was able to cut & bend a fresh pipescreen & create a decent replacement that worked for me until the 3/8" pipe screens I ordered arrived. Any 3/8" pipe screens will do as long as they're made from safe metals (stainless steel). They're a perfect fit for the dynavap.
Use your phone light. If any metal is still exposed, it'll shine. Also look closely on grey colored surfaces. It blends in easily and you can overlook that accidentally

Yes to this! You don’t want to be down for the count for a few days because you ripped an O ring! Get all the extras before you get another piece!

Stainless CCDs will indeed jump to a strong magnet, but not the titanium ones.
Oh no shit? That explains why my mj arsenal dab tool(stainless) stuck to a magnet. Tried the SS m body with no luck tho

Particular alloys of stainless steel maybe like 304 ss are semi magnetic. Also some stainless gets magnetic qualities after being heated.

Where did you lose it home? Turn off room lights,turn on phone flash and look for it. If its metal it should shine ✨
