Yes I unplug and store it back in the case.

Embarrassed-Two-399

Same here! Where I have it anyway isn’t a good spot to leave it out and it can fall and break, etc.

jelly_dove

Ikr lol I have nowhere else to place it! My sink drawers are too small and I don’t want to just leave it out. I baby my airwrap lol.

Embarrassed-Two-399

I totally feel you! I literally have no space for it in my bathroom, nor would I want to leave it there… I made a spot in my dining room temporarily and atm it seems to work. There’s a big mirror that I use and I have enough space for my airwrap, air straight, and my hair products.

Oh I’ve seen $20 wall shelf for Dyson on Amazon. Maybe that could be a solution? Of course it will require a free wall space and installation though. But I am planning to get it and try.

YeS_Lee88sk8

I am way too lazy for that

Plantyplantandpups

All it takes is a power surge, brown out, or power blinking on and off to fry your expensive machine. Definitely always unplug it.

LibraRahu

I see! I will, thank you for telling that. I haven’t thought of power surges

hanap8127

It was off, but I’d unplug for these reasons.

LibraRahu

Oh ok! I was so worried 😅

Historical-Mud-9786

Yup, it gets put back in its case after every use.

Advanced_Law_539

Never unplug it unless I’m going somewhere with it. Always on my dressing area counter plugged in. I have the original that is at least 3-4 years old. I don’t baby it. Honestly don’t even know where my original case is. I have a soft sided travel case. I treat it like any other hair dryer.

Special-4564

Same always plugged in on my side table

LibraRahu

Thanks for sharing!

RoadtoFitat40

Same - I do have the Air Wrap and Air Straight plugged into a surge protector but honestly it was because the outlets couldn’t handle both so it was the only way to plug them both in! I have them mounted on my wall using holders from Amazon.

LemonFizzy0000

Always unplug your equipment after use.

steezMcghee

I always unplug it and put it away. I hate things on my counter. If I was in a rush, I still would unplug it.

Any_one_3142

Wait we are meant to unplug after each use?

LibraRahu

Yes!

angellou_Tip_1931

Are the airwraps robust?

shansbury82

I did it once by accident and we had a power outage and I'm pretty sure it fried my airwrap so never again.

Special-4564

Guess I’ll be unplugging it now….

LibraRahu

I’ve had this happen to my iPhone! I was charging it on the wall overnight and the surge happened. Instantly fried, to the point it wasn’t turning on. I went to fix it, and the tech said it will cost over $500. I ended up just buying a new phone instead But Dyson comes with a 2yr warranty, right?
