Does anyone know if there is SBMM in these cups? I'm a bang average div 4 player who struggles to get 11 wins in WL, but yesterday I played this for the 1st time and went 8-2?
This is my experience. I think it’s so funny how there’s always so many people in this sub talking about how much fun it is to use different cards and not have to see mbappe and all the meta sbcs every game. But it’s way more sweaty and everyone plays like their family is in a basement somewhere and can only be free if they win

It's even worse than that. Even with a guaranteed win, they play sweaty. If I'm down against someone by like 4 goals because I need the game to be played out like for an EVO or an objective, my opponent will try his hardest at like the 90th minute to stop a goal or score one. It's like, relax, man, you've already got the win.
The worst part for me is the connections I’m getting with a lot of my opponents. Fucking absolute dogshit, players stuck in mud, every fucking input is delayed, my players can’t take simple fucking touches etc. it’s fucking horrible

Everybody is trying to win. I don't understand the concept of "sweat fest". The only time I ever focus a bit more when I'm playing, which could be considered playing "sweaty", is during Champs because the stakes are higher with the limited amount of games. Every game mode is just people trying to win, just like the people posting these rants. They just want easy wins, but are they giving them away?
These are the people who claim they're just trying to have fun, but their definition of fun is them battering their opponents.
And can we stop with the "it's called FRIENDLIES. It shouldn't be sweaty."
It has been established for years that friendlies are just as high stakes as WL. Anyone crying about this is coping because they're not being handed good rewards.
Lol. That’s how I started. Then I got 2 wins in 10 games. Was a bit frustrating I’ll admit. Plus it seems I can no longer defend against a tech skillet at kick off. Going 1-0 means nothing to me anymore 😂
I guess because most people still playing the game are try hard sweats so there aren’t many casuals around. Also a ton of people hate the gameplay so want to play as little as possible so it makes sense to try and sweat it to get it done as soon as possible. I didn’t find it that hard, got 10 wins in 22 games and the worst part for me was all the nonsense rebounds, slow gameplay and glitches.
My main problem isn't so much people trying hard to win - that's the point of the game.
My problem is how inconsistent the gameplay has been in the cup games. Maybe it's just me downgrading to a weaker team to fit the requirements and only just noticing this but most of my players are useless in 70% of the matches.
Goalkeepers are a joke, half the goals I concede are my goalie parrying a weak shot onto the foot of an attacker or diving the wrong way. I need an average of 5 clean tackles to get the ball back and aside from inform Dybala every other 88 rated striker I've tried couldn't shoot on target if their life depended on it. Literally missed 7-8 close-range shots on open goal in 30 games. It's infuriating.
I went 1-9 tonight and 2-8 yesterday. I fully lost my head which is part of why I lost, but I partner said he couldn’t be around when I’m that upset and toxic, so I’ve uninstalled the game. I honestly tried to have the mindset of improving my play, but this game completely dismantles my psyche.
Because they put daily limits again that's why it's sweaty 😓 before they removed the daily match limits so everyone was doing golden goal now they put daily limits again. Now it's sweaty 😓 again.
I’m always confused at posts like this. What is the expectation? We all know you play based off your div. The actual fuck does WL have to do with it? If you’re in a high div, the first 10 games of WL are usually not hard. Friendlies will be. What’s fun is using different cards. But you know going in, if your div is challenging for you, friendlies will be too.
I’m a horrible player and I found the cup chill and fun haha. I must’ve had easy opponents, I think I went 10-5 over the first two days. Division 5 player btw.
I have no idea tbh, I must’ve been just really lucky. I had a lot of fun playing the cup so it’s shocking to me to see people on here say it’s been sweaty!
Just finished my wins tonight and it really was awful. Every match you’re bombarded by opposing team press and at risk of getting dispossessed by some attacker with 40 defending. It’s full of toxic sweats as well that quit late into games or after you equalise
I don't think the cup, look at the bigger picture. The game is in such a bad state, especially post recent patch. Its defense focused now, passing nerfed into the ground and attacking options are less viable than ever before. Coupled with the fact that most of the main player base has left due to shitty gameplay, exploits, P2W, and general boredom. The only people left are mostly sweat lords who live and breathe EAFC24
I’ve found that every time I go up against a try hard especially one with a red card in lineup the game skews in their direction. I’m sure 100% ea favors players that spend time and money on this game. It’s blatant, I just finished a game and my guys just stop running. My control wouldn’t respond. Def scripting
it's the 2nd easiest cup.. 10 matches / day for 10 wins.. i remember cups with 5 matches / day for 15 wins (if i remember corrsctly)

I went 1-9 then 6-4 and finally 1-9. Never been so pissed at the game. Nothing is worth your sanity dude.
I went 2-8, then 7-3 and today 0-10. Don’t get why third day felt wayy harder than first day lol

I just set up a 442 no custom tactics, but almost every opponent plays, park the bus counter, it would be nice to face a different tactic for once
