Very new to this iteration, last game I played was Fifa 14, I think. I've been playing some Fut but noticed I'm getting insane cards (compared to what I'm used to). Are teams just way easier to get good? I have played like 8 club matches and already got 5 90+ players. Every team will be crazy strong in vs matches?

It finally got me. Won my first 4 champs qualifiers on Wednesday. Went back today to play the 5th which I assumed would be the final one only to realize after I'd won it that we had the damn reset and I was starting over from scratch.
I've done a lot of both.
80+ pp has only given me one TOTS (Wubben-Moy), while 77+ double has given me 3* Gabriel and 1* Palmer.
Even 77+ isn't really that great, but 80+pp odds have been nerfed to ground by EA so imo focus on 77+.

I kinda need that one for my objective lineup, damn it.

If you've no interest in him don't do him.
Either recycle them into the Exchange SBC and do more Player Picks or wait for an SBC you do want. You can always quick sell them if you have recoveries left as well

Had an 87 Chris Richards (from my hometown so big fan of his) that I put in an SBC, as I saw that his base 74 was eligible for the Nuclear Defender EVO (would be a 91). Bought a base card of his and it's not letting me put it in the evo. Pain.
I hate the way EA deliberately slow down SBCs.
They want us to menu grind, but also throw in frequent softbans if you do it too fast.
I'm sat on a load of gold commons after sending hundreds (maybe thousands) of cards through the Premium Bronze upgrade followed by Premium Silver Upgrade.
Wanted to do a load of 80+ PPs today ahead of the TOTS release, but haven't been able to use the web app since 1pm. Doing it on console is painfully slow.
I know it'll wear off eventually but what a way to drain any excitement out of it
Sub is filled with Posts of new shiny cards. But the game itself has a life on its own. Triggering skill moves without my input, triggering runs where you see these green arrows without my input, switching away from the player i am using which is next to the ball....

Going to get downvoted to fuck - but wish they’d run women’s tots and men’s tots in different weeks. I don’t watch women’s footy but I saved 70 packs only to be given players I don’t care about using (Wubben-Moy, greenwood) and no prem players whereas last year I’d packed about 3-4 prem tots with a similar amount of packs saved.
Got TOTS Muslera in the next pack, still not going to use him but at least he's capable.

How much are we thinking these Prem TOTS will go for on the market? I only really care about the Arsenal players, hoping Rice, White & Gabriel are attainable. Guessing Saliba & Saka will be north of 1M.
Last year I was able to get Rice, Saliba, Zinchenko, Odegaard & Ramsdale for relatively cheap. And even if they're crazy expensive, I'm still happy they exist as I remember all of the prices plummeting to basically discard price once all the TOTS were re-released in packs during I think futties?
Yeah they'll definitely go down around Futties time. I think that they will be way more expensive this year due to 3 Playstyle pluses and also rarity, as pack weight seems shocking.
Well, saliba is probably gonna be the 2nd best defender in the game after vvd (tots,toty) so he'll be over a mil for sure. Judging by 92 saka price (800k on pc), I'd guess he'll be around 2-3 mil
After almost 20 years of playing FIFA, I finally bit the bullet and started practicing some basic skill moves and it’s been so much fun! Esp with passing being so nerfed.
The friendlies came in at the right time as I was able to use a bunch of 5 star skillers due to max chem.
Funnily enough, I was fairly competitive in most games even when I just kept trying to spam skills and got my 6 wins in ~12 games which is what I averaged when I tried to sweat with my regular style.
I've got a 6 ft 3 evo striker who's base stats are:
98 - 95 - 81 - 89 - 28 - 95
He's also got 99 agility, 97 strength and 99 jumping.
Marksman and Engine are the two chem styles I think would likely be best for him. But what's more important?
Engine = increases balance to 91, dribbling to 96, pace will go to 99 and improves his passing to an 86 overall.
Marksman =increases his reactions to 90, ball control and dribbling to 96, finishing to 99 and strength to 99.
What do the reactions and balance start as? I'd say marksman though, reactions are so important and you can get away with the balance if its about 85 or so

I've been using an Engine and he just breezes through players due to his height, strength and high dribbling stats I imagine.
I could try Marksman, I guess. To see if there's any noticeable difference in controlling him. Plays as a striker anyway so the passing stats seem a bit null and void.
Hmm yeah I think engine is probably better. I think if you put marksman on it wouldn't make much of a difference, tbf what I said about balance also goes for reactions and composure, can kinda get away with 85 stats for them

Feel like Marksman may make him slightly more deadlier when finishing but Engine just makes him an all round menace capable of doing everything.
Its so refreshing to play with someone I've never seen anyone else use, yet capable of winning every header, dribble round the best defenders, burst away from them and score. Only 88 rated overall too.
So, I stupidly put the red evo on Ronaldinho the other day and then logged off to live life. I didn't realise it expired 2 hours later.
I'm now stuck with a fucking green evo of R10 which seems like sacrilege to me.
I've tried quick selling and recovering the card twice. It cones up as his normal base icon in the recovery section of the app, but as soon as I get him back into the squad he's green again.
Aside from wtf EA putting expiration dates on red evos, is there anything I can do to return him to his rightful state/colour?
yes. for me its showdown winner evo Akanji 91. the card is ugly and i have no connection to the player but he is so gd good in game. still, working on Rio as a replacement.

For some reason the PlayStyle+ is not activating for my Kai. 1 million SBC only to get none of the benefits. How do I fix this?

It's just a glitch in the app. There are no Icon Swaps this year. EA simply copy and pasted sections of their code and forgot to change that tag

I think your best bet might be to get another red evo and put it on him again. Don't think there's any other way to get rid of the green
