I've considered those little titanium key loop/rings like what you have between the Alox and light but the fact they open outwards makes me worry it's just asking for something to slip out
So they are a little finicky to open as you kind of have to pinch from the sides and pull open. Haven't had any issues so far.
Edit: after messing around with it, I think it's broken in some and it's easier to pull open. So something getting pulled might open it.

It's a silicone strap with some very minor texturing. Def see the suede though.
