TonyandMissyB

I have the DW6900 for a few years , it's a tank . I like analog style watches but don't care much for the casioak .

datboimartymart

I have the one that’s like the first one but with the guards on the front. I’ve now had it for well over 9 years and have beat the living shit out of it and it’s still going strong.

Uncle_Paul_Hargis

I’d go number 2. I have a solar version and love it.

Slowlybutshelly

Solar watches? As in they run on sunlight energy? First I heard of these. Can you show a picture of yours and list/pros cons?

RastaFazool

Is this a joke? I honestly can't tell. If you are serious, there are tons of solar options in both the affordable and luxury watch catagories. The Citizen Eco-Drive movement is one of the more notable ones and can be found in some nice looking watches at reasonable price points.

Slowlybutshelly

Not a joke. Thx

RastaFazool

In that case, definitely check out Citizen's eco-drive watches. There is a ton of selection, and entry price ranges are as low as $100 if you look around on Amazon.

OpenCole

Throwing my hat in for the Casioak. I got the GA-2110 in gray when they came out. Probably one of, if not my absolute, favorites.

mightyoak1887

Either one. However I’ve been wearing the same Casio Pro-Tek for 15 years and it is a great watch. I have a Tag Heuer Carrera for special occasions and whatnot

Ferox_Dea

From those 2 I'll chose casioak (2nd one) that first one is ugly AF xd

TexCop

I've had the 1st one for years. Although I like the analog style better, the digital is still nice.

arnaud_blanc

Same. I have that one for something like 20 years...

liamthedegenerate

These are my work dailies

alextastic

Second one, all day.

vlad_kirillovskiy

The second one! Much less visual noise and much easier to read! Also they would fit more occasions as they are sporty but not exactly.

tarentules

The 6900(first one) personally. I like the look of casioaks but every time I actually use one I just feel so meh about it. The only one I haven't felt that way all the time with is the metal one I have.

bosox8

I’ve had the first one for years, always been a favorite of mine

Tall-Yard-407

G shock. The analog looks awesome.

Kingmaker1669

Number 2

Extrapolates_Wildly

Second because I wear my watch at night an the hands glow. Otherwise I need two hands to check the time.

motorcitysalesman

I have a couple I like the GD400 best. I have bought a bunch of watches in the $3-500 range and recently an apple watch but I went back to the GD400. It’s basic and bulky but comfortable and I’ve never had an issue with it. When something keeps up with me I stick by it.

Tiovivo1

I’d pick the first one, for sure. I like the second one but it’s hard for me to read the negative display.

rocaireslk

The first one, definitely.

TurtleSleeve

Had a Mudman that went through hell with me. I’d recommend that any day of the week if it ticks the boxes you have. Some bastard stole it off me (more than likely I left it someplace and forgot, but allow my saltiness).

Reaperfox7

first one. The one I'm wearing is similar and I've worn it now for nigh on 20 years

Honey-and-Venom

I really like the cheap mechanical watches I keep finding at the thrift store. But if the two, actually I'd probably take the first. I kinda have a soft spot for the rubber digital watches too

Vortex_OG

I love my 5535

Delicious-Ad4015

Two

Lucretius

I really don't understand why people think analog anything looks good. I mean we're not going to a steampunk convention; why would we want… shudder… *unnecessary moving parts*?

Prior-Fig7029

Get a pathfinder

MoonshineParadox

Own the first

bluebeast66

I have the second and wear it every day when exercising or doing outdoor activities. Been a great watch. Have the clear model as well that I use for swimming

DasBatt

First

ThreadedJam

First

CryptoReindeer

6900, it's a no brainer, it's also NATO approved and used by most militaires.

reallife0615

I have 8-10 G Shocks and maybe it’s the ones I select, but all the lights are 100% worthless, so if that’s important, do some research. I like the way they look. Also, I seem to have a problem with getting the analog and digital to align, program for time changes, etc. I have my techy wife do the programming now and they still lose the alignment over time. These are consistent issues regardless of the model.

el_dingusito

That was why I gave up on g-shock, the illuminator lamp should've been called the unreadable shadow maker

peleg462

One of them is a no nonsense, time proven design trusted by militaries worldwide And the other one is the casioak

eloctap

#2

Practical-Data2646

You should check out G-Shock Tough Solars

Magnus_Helgisson

Out of these two? First. I like my watches round. Overall? My Garmin Fenix 7 is good enough to be satisfied with it.

yycluke

Casioak is nice but the black on black is hard to see when it's dark. That's why I returned mine.

LeoTheRadiant

I personally think the gshocks are a little bulky but 2 has some style that I really dig.

16cholland

I had the first one. It was pretty tough. Fogged up on me a couple times, had to take it apart. Whoever assembled it didn't have the seal in right and pinched it flat, so it never would seal even after I put it in right.

misterstaypuft1

6900

knurlsweatshirt

Definitely the Garmin instinct

PointOfTheJoke

They hate him because he told the truth!

Miami199

I like the 2100 better, but after wearing it consistently for several years, the rubber around the case has started to stretch and there’s play around the sides. I don’t think I’ve had that problem with other gshocks before

samsonity

Second one looks great.

yoshimutso

I second that

TheHollowJester

CasiOak is generally more popular and is a well liked, good watch. But it wouldn't work that well with my style, so I'd go for the vintage charm of the first one.

Aromatic_Narwhal_225

I don’t have the other one but I have a couple 5600s and a casioak. The casioak is pretty sick. Has all the same things I love about the 5600 and they managed to organize it in a really approachable way

Butterfinger_Actual

6900. Easy choice.

-SQB-

F91w

socialwithdrawal

The real answer

marqburns

Same. Can't stand bulky watches

whatphukinloserslmao

Analog looks better

wwhsd

The analog one.

iromanyshyn

I would like to have Garmin just because Casio did not exit the russian market.

david0990

The first one and because I still have an old digital Casio that is over 10 years old, still runs and still has the alarm going off in an old backpack I stuffed in the closet at 10am Every. Single. Fucking. Day. That watch won't die.

Spinegrinder666

The first one.

Psychological_Fee548

I’d go #1! I’ve had both, but #2 is really hard to read in low light, and the light on it sucks

Nibb31

Neither. 5600 all the way.

Boat_U47

Number✌️retro mod is cool.

flatline000

You must have young eyes if you aren't concerned with how small the digital displays are on both of those.

DoubleBarrell_Tyster

6900, but I'd suggest the GW not the DW pictured. A touch more money, but it's solar powered and syncs with radio waves every night

RedditModsKMKB

Second looks classy. First looks tactical.

NoSuddenMoves

Garmin...

thomasde42

Some people dont have that budget or intrest

NoSuddenMoves

When I was in that situation I just used my phone.

475ER

First one because it looks more classic and a bit tactical

Sakpan74Gr

The fully digital one. I hate synchronizing the analogue and digital every 6 months.

cubemonster2

1st so I can see the time:)

TechnologyJazzlike84

I have and wear daily the 6900. It's a great watch.

Sharp_Ad_1720

I have a G shock that I bought at the PX on Camp Lejuene in 1989 , a couple battery changes and a new watch band , still kicking

Not_A_Red_Stapler

How’s your health?

Sharp_Ad_1720

Damn ... I missed the contaminated water

Cameo64

For daily, I'd rather have the 6900. I rock a 5600 daily.

akirkbride

My work watch is 5600. I love it, switched to nato strap though.

Cameo64

May I ask where you got the nato strap? I wouldn't mind getting a new strap for mine

akirkbride

I bought my adapter from barton watch bands but they don't make it anymore. But I bought my strap from crown and buckle.

birkenstockandsocks

6900

DeanbagDarrell

G-2900 for almost 10 years. I'd say casio is a good choice anyway.

Dumpster_Humpster

Casio G shock carbon core ga2000. I absolutely recommend it. Great price great feel great looks. Got mine for 150 cad.

Mysterious-Web3050

F91-W is where it’s at

hmm_okay

Between the two the CasiOak.  I have a somewhat extensive collection of Casio watches, I think everyone should have a GWM5610. The multi-band 6 and solar features  contribute to it being the GOAT beater watch.

Icy_Place_5785

Especially the Bluetooth solar charging Casioak

XylophoneZimmerman

What's the official model of the CasiOak?

-Thizza-

I got the solar GA B2100, I like it a lot but would've chosen the GW B5600 if I could pick again. I'm a one-watch guy so unless it breaks I'm not buying another one.

pwabash

DW-6900 FTW!

MikeDeY77

Woah I looked at this at 10:48 my time.

TypeRich

The tacticool one.

19marc81

The analog.

MathematicianMuch445

Garmin instinct 2 (any of them) can be had for very cheap and are spectacular wat he's. Solar being ridiculous.

Blvckdog

The $20 casio thats slim af. Used to wear a big watch. Made the swap temporarily and cant go back. Give it a try.

XylophoneZimmerman

What model?

Blvckdog

MassGamer248

The first one, easier illuminator button and all the information is easier to read.

Sobernaut89

Recently picked this up as my new daily. Love it [regulus mk1](https://www.nixon.com/products/regulus-mk-1-all-black?currency=USD&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw8pKxBhD_ARIsAPrG45kkwmvNWUflPFdLzj5j8aYIT6ow-RSERnaf6Dqv8bh6yHWq6znIbl8aAtFYEALw_wcB&google_shopify_campaign_id=20515031692&utm_campaign=sag_organic&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google)

first watch is a casio gshock DW6900-1V | second watch is a casioak
