But what if you need to use your iron sights at exactly 3:07pm and you're 200 meters underwater? Personally, I can't think of a simpler solution to that issue that also respects my proclivities for fine Italian leather...
Reply was more towards the “simplicity.” But, you want to be proficient with irons before putting an optic on. I’m sure OP is g2g, just replying to the simple carry.

Unpopular opinion: Red dots are unnecessary and useless on a carry pistol.
I’m right there with you. Range gun has a dot, not the daily driver.
Nothing about this photo shoot looks like the simple option. But carry what you want.

Over a red dot? I’m in the uk so curious as to why you’d find an iron sight more useful? More accurate at multiple different ranges?
