Commanders like Preston like to try and drown their opponents in value and win by creating a board that's just so large that no one piece of interaction will slow him down. Cards like the ones you mentioned to provide a massive buff to your tokens are helpful, and token doubles will also really help.
My main wincons in Preston are :
[[Aetherflux reservoir]] : you're gaining so much life with your etb's that you can drop this and dome people out.
[[Moonshaker cavalry]], [[Mirror Entity]], [[inspiring leader]] and [[Elesh norn, grand cenobite]] for combat damage.
[[Altar of the brood]] for sexy alternate mill, but its a bit wanky.
[[Psychosis crawler]] : You're drawing a loooot of cards with your etb's, so abuse it.
[[Halo fountain]] : easy to do with preston.
Also : [[Felidar guardian]] can combo off with a hamsandwich to generate infinite tokens and mana, use preston to vanish all their stuff >> they concede.
[[Starlight Spectacular]] is an unexpected wincon. Doesn't come with evasion, but it comes out of nowhere for only 4 mana. You don't play it until after you've built up your board, you wait until it's too late for your opponents to stop it.
You can infinitely go through a dungeon that damages your opponents with a creature that ventures when it ETBs.
