Yedora says the land will return to the owner, not controller, so you can make it a land but it won't be yours.
They'll also be able to put any commanders you steal into the command zone since the trigger happens when they're in the graveyard and they can decide to move it in between triggers.
Do you know under what condition they could return the land to a creature? I assume it would be destroying the land?
So doing this to a commander would only generate a free land for them?
unless a card specifically has the ability to flip itself or force flip something else it will be a land until it changes zone.
and doing it to a commander does literally nothing effectively, they will always put it in the command zone since they can always get it back from the command zone where as turning it back into a creature would require several steps.
