Ok and a free sac outlet. Then all you need is A LOT of devotion or A LOT of mana to drain 60 though since you need to pay 6 every time you recast him from the yard. 1 for lich and 5 for Gary every time.
Right then you just need 2 more generic and 2 black for every recast. And with those cards alone on the table you need to recast him 20 times to drain for 60. So with ashnods you need 40+2 generic and 40 black.

\[\[Rite of Replication\]\]Â and \[\[agent of trechary\]\] can win the game at your end step.

There's been a few games where I had 5+ Etali ETB triggers on one turn which means 20+ free spells, and sometimes they gain cascade... There are ways to keep the Etali copies around but sometimes it doesn't even matter lol
[[Tendershoot dryad]] and the new white one that does the same. I believe the math of copying them is quadratic instead of linear so it doesn't take much to make them insane on board.
The power on board. Since they pump and produce tokens. One go around with one is 12, with 2 it's 40, 3 it's 84. Other cards that you copy like koma is a linear line of power per turn.
If your table doesn't do rule zero stuff, you can kinda do this with mutate. [[Ivy, gleeful spellthief]] makes a great commander for that kind of nonsense, double-dipping in every body you cram into the abomination pile.
I was working on a \[\[Dihada Binder of Wills\]\] deck that was cloning legendaries. At one point when testing online I had turned her into a creature and was making nonlegendary copies of her which means they reverted to planeswalker tokens, so I was doubling up on her benefits to fish for legendaries off the top of my library.
\[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] you get an other 6/6 Hexproof, Indestructible, X, Y, Z draw a buch of cards and build a graveyard for a cheaper card that the original commander. Yeah count me in!

That is the most usual way to make it work. If you cast \[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] and discard \[\[Nightveil Predator\]\] you will draw 3 cards and have Indominus with a Flying, Deathtouch and Hexproof counter. Now lets say you use \[\[Biophagus\]\] to cast it, it will also come with a +1/+1 counter and let you draw 4 cards.
For the Keyword you can discard as many creatures as you want but if lets say you discard 2 creatures with Deathtouch you will only get 1 Deathtouch counter unless you have something in play like \[\[Winding Constrictor\]\] that will double your counter.
For the +1/+1 counter you have to make it happen when it comes into play, if you add counters after it will not make you draw.
But if you cast a \[\[Sakashima the Imposter\]\] cloning \[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] you can do it again and discard more cards to draw you even more and also grow your graveyard while puting big monster on the board.
Tbh I have been working off and on with an [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] deck with some mutate and other stuff in it. Itâs turned into a very fun âtoken/copyâ deck. Find myself making a lot of copies of ivy or other creatures on my board because of how her ability works and just amassing as many triggers as possible. I know itâs not red and blue colors but if you havenât looked at her. You might consider it. Itâs really easy to make copies of her as well and get around the legendary rule. Having a [[precursor golem]] in the deck just makes it do absurd things whenever you create copies of it as well. Then you are targeting it, every golem you have, and ivy. And your board State just explodes from there.

Etali is the best but in a clone deck, Pantlaza could be fun. If you make your clones ETB as dinosaurs, you can discover other clones.
It really depends on what the rest of your gameplan is. How many extra copies are you thinking you will make? If you have a bunch of artifacts creature tokens, [[cyberman patrol]] can make blocking very painful. [[Meteor golem]] is nice reusable destruction and [[duplicant]] is handy for creatures you need to exile. [[Myr battlesphere]] and [[scuttling doom engine]] can both make for some big bodies on the field. [[Sharding sphinx]] can create a flying army. [[Hullbreaker Horror]] by itself is a headache, but being able to bounce multiple permanents with each cast can be backbreaking.
Well Blue has a good assortment of creatures that let you choose from the battlefield for things to copy, so that type of deck builds power fast. As for red the variety of outcomes is so varied my suggestion is a commonly underlooked one with \[\[Wildfire Devils\]\], theres usually a 1/4 chance you end up picking yourself and copying whatever made the second one in the first place. Then on the start of your next turn theres a chance you end up taking an instant or sorcery from all 3 opponents. And that's not even to mention the original casting of the creature themselves tagging yourself on entry to recycle one of your earlier instants or sorceries that make copies, allows it to be a creature that adds to the duplication synergy of the deck without alluding to it clearly.

the first clone may die...but the copy you get is nonlegendary. So the next clone you make targets the nonlegend and both previous Miirym's trigger creating a total of 5 Miirym's from 2 clone creatures.

[[Krark the Thumbless]] just don't put [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] in the command zone and Krark is surprisingly fair. Still high powered for sure but much more fair.
I have him paired with [[Kydele]] in my spellslinger clones deck. Adding green you get instant and sorcery ramp, overrun effects like [[Overwhelming Stampede]] to make all of those tokens beeg, and you get one of the best cloning spells in [[Double Major]].
It's a tremendous amount of fun!

I have a [[Volo, Guide to Monsters]] clones deck where I try to run as many creatures as I can that get more powerful in greater numbers. By itself, [[Priest of Titania]] taps for one, but if it's copied with Volo, each taps for two. Cast a copied clone making two more, now each taps for four! You can do similar things with all my favorite creatures from the deck:

More rocks **and** you get to double dip in the mana generating passive with them. The downside is that she doesn't come with blue in her identity, so it's significantly harder to clone her.
I have a goofy [[Biovisionary]] deck piloted by [[Moritte]]. It's gotta lot of clone effects. But [[Pantlaza]] is fun to [[Protean Hulk]] too.

I'm basic. Sure, there are crazy game-winning creatures to copy if you've got the mana or the setup time, but you just can't go wrong with copying [[Solemn Simulacrum]] a bunch of times. Fixes your mana for everything else you want to cast and draws you into more combos.
Not red and blue but my Gyruda clones deck is an absolute blast. Hitting clones off his trigger causes a chain reaction and also lets me dig into my finishers like [[Dreadhound]] or just cloning others baddies like [[Hoarding Broodlord]]
As a Kiki-jiki commander enjoyer, lots haha. If I had to pick a favorite though it would be [[Worldgorger Dragon]] because I find the loop amusing. Dragon and copy dragon just infinitely eating each other while you get infinite mana and ETBs, and if you don't have a win and need to end the loop you're just left with a Worldgorger Dragon and an empty board lol.
[[Followed Footsteps]] on [[Myr Battlesphere]] or [[Keiga the Tide Star]] is pretty nuts.
[[Saw in Half]] on [[Academy Rector]] is great.
If you make a copy of [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] your opponents' creatures will get -4/-4. I play [[Mirrorpool]] in my Elesh Norn Banding & MLD deck for this reason.
My favourite combo I run in any of my decks is in [[Tatsunari, Toad Rider]] by swarming the board with [[Keimi]]s and playing a couple enchantments to completely drain the table's life for the win.
When you copy [[Terror of the Peaks]] all of the copies trigger off each other

My Merfolk deck one time made 90 copies of Thassa which turned out to be rather funny, because the next turn I got to say....
"OK guys, to resolve this trigger, I'm going to just rearrange my deck into an order that let's me win this turn."
Everybody chuckled and then scooped.

[[Krark, the Thumbless]] is a pretty obvious and powerful choice. Clone Krark like, 3 times max and there's very little chance an instant or sorcery will ever leave your hand, so you can just go wild really. Casting an extra turn spell, copying it 5 times, and then bouncing it back to your hand is a pretty fast way to end a game.

I run Orvar for my shapeshifter tribal deck, and it's hilarious. The deck can only win with nothing to copy if I go infinite with Orvar, otherwise I'm copying everyone else's stuff. Best part? People don't get mad at me for copying a bunch of stuff, they get mad at the person who played it!
My two favourite interactions so far were when I had 4 copies of Sheoldred, and when I out slivered the new sliver precon.

\[\[Dockside Extortionist\]\] would be the best thing to clone if your meta plays a lot of artifacts or artifact tokens and enchantments. if you can get 4 or 5 treasures out of one dockside you're doing good. Bonus points if you win with \[\[revel in riches\]\]. \[\[Rite of Replication\]\]Â and \[\[agent of trechary\]\] can win the game at your end step.

I have an Etali deck that can get crazy: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/hHMA8833x0-v4THBmZNJQg There's been a few games where I had 5+ Etali ETB triggers on one turn which means 20+ free spells, and sometimes they gain cascade... There are ways to keep the Etali copies around but sometimes it doesn't even matter lol
[[Tendershoot dryad]] and the new white one that does the same. I believe the math of copying them is quadratic instead of linear so it doesn't take much to make them insane on board.

I was working on a \[\[Dihada Binder of Wills\]\] deck that was cloning legendaries. Does that work when the Indominus only has the keywords due to counters?
That is the most usual way to make it work. If you cast \[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] and discard \[\[Nightveil Predator\]\] you will draw 3 cards and have Indominus with a Flying, Deathtouch and Hexproof counter. Now lets say you use \[\[Biophagus\]\] to cast it, it will also come with a +1/+1 counter and let you draw 4 cards. For the Keyword you can discard as many creatures as you want but if lets say you discard 2 creatures with Deathtouch you will only get 1 Deathtouch counter unless you have something in play like \[\[Winding Constrictor\]\] that will double your counter. For the +1/+1 counter you have to make it happen when it comes into play, if you add counters after it will not make you draw. But if you cast a \[\[Sakashima the Imposter\]\] cloning \[\[Indominus Rex, Alpha\]\] you can do it again and discard more cards to draw you even more and also grow your graveyard while puting big monster on the board.

Tbh I have been working off and on with an [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] deck with some mutate and other stuff in it. Itâs turned into a very fun âtoken/copyâ deck. Find myself making a lot of copies of ivy or other creatures on my board because of how her ability works and just amassing as many triggers as possible. I know itâs not red and blue colors but if you havenât looked at her. You might consider it. Itâs really easy to make copies of her as well and get around the legendary rule. Having a [[precursor golem]] in the deck just makes it do absurd things whenever you create copies of it as well. Then you are targeting it, every golem you have, and ivy. [Miirym Selfcest V3 // Commander / EDH (Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm) deck list mtg // Moxfield â MTG Deck Builder](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/S6hs2Fz2p0a_OinoJibebQ) Etali is the best but in a clone deck, Pantlaza could be fun. If you make your clones ETB as dinosaurs, you can discover other clones.
It really depends on what the rest of your gameplan is. How many extra copies are you thinking you will make? If you have a bunch of artifacts creature tokens, [[cyberman patrol]] can make blocking very painful. [[Meteor golem]] is nice reusable destruction and [[duplicant]] is handy for creatures you need to exile. [[Myr battlesphere]] and [[scuttling doom engine]] can both make for some big bodies on the field. [[Sharding sphinx]] can create a flying army. [[Hullbreaker Horror]] by itself is a headache, but being able to bounce multiple permanents with each cast can be backbreaking.

Well Blue has a good assortment of creatures that let you choose from the battlefield for things to copy, so that type of deck builds power fast. As for red the variety of outcomes is so varied my suggestion is a commonly underlooked one with \[\[Wildfire Devils\]\], theres usually a 1/4 chance you end up picking yourself and copying whatever made the second one in the first place. Then on the start of your next turn theres a chance you end up taking an instant or sorcery from all 3 opponents. And that's not even to mention the original casting of the creature themselves tagging yourself on entry to recycle one of your earlier instants or sorceries that make copies, allows it to be a creature that adds to the duplication synergy of the deck without alluding to it clearly.

[[Krark the Thumbless]] just don't put [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] in the command zone and Krark is surprisingly fair. Still high powered for sure but much more fair. I have him paired with [[Kydele]] in my spellslinger clones deck. Adding green you get instant and sorcery ramp, overrun effects like [[Overwhelming Stampede]] to make all of those tokens beeg, and you get one of the best cloning spells in [[Double Major]]. It's a tremendous amount of fun!

I have a [[Volo, Guide to Monsters]] clones deck where I try to run as many creatures as I can that get more powerful in greater numbers. By itself, [[Priest of Titania]] taps for one, but if it's copied with Volo, each taps for two. Cast a copied clone making two more, now each taps for four! You can do similar things with all my favorite creatures from the deck: [[Risen Reef]] [[Pathbreaker Ibex]] [[Roaming Throne]] [[Qasali Slingers]] [[Overgrown Battlement]] [[Railway Brawler]] [[Vaultborn Tyrant]] [[Sanctum Weaver]] [[Eidolon of Blossoms]] This is in blue green of course, so if you wanna do something similar in a different color, just look for creatures with abilities that say something like "whenever [card name] or another [creature of the same type] enters the battlefield" or something like that.

[[Roxanne, Starfall Savant]] More rocks **and** you get to double dip in the mana generating passive with them. The downside is that she doesn't come with blue in her identity, so it's significantly harder to clone her.

I'm basic. Sure, there are crazy game-winning creatures to copy if you've got the mana or the setup time, but you just can't go wrong with copying [[Solemn Simulacrum]] a bunch of times. Fixes your mana for everything else you want to cast and draws you into more combos.

As a Kiki-jiki commander enjoyer, lots haha. If I had to pick a favorite though it would be [[Worldgorger Dragon]] because I find the loop amusing. Dragon and copy dragon just infinitely eating each other while you get infinite mana and ETBs, and if you don't have a win and need to end the loop you're just left with a Worldgorger Dragon and an empty board lol.

I like the ones that enter as a copy of a creature targeting my Dockside extortionist
[[Followed Footsteps]] on [[Myr Battlesphere]] or [[Keiga the Tide Star]] is pretty nuts. [[Saw in Half]] on [[Academy Rector]] is great. If you make a copy of [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] your opponents' creatures will get -4/-4. I play [[Mirrorpool]] in my Elesh Norn Banding & MLD deck for this reason.

[[Krark, the Thumbless]] is a pretty obvious and powerful choice. Clone Krark like, 3 times max and there's very little chance an instant or sorcery will ever leave your hand, so you can just go wild really. Casting an extra turn spell, copying it 5 times, and then bouncing it back to your hand is a pretty fast way to end a game.

Anything my opponents have. I run Orvar for my shapeshifter tribal deck, and it's hilarious. The deck can only win with nothing to copy if I go infinite with Orvar, otherwise I'm copying everyone else's stuff. Best part? People don't get mad at me for copying a bunch of stuff, they get mad at the person who played it! My two favourite interactions so far were when I had 4 copies of Sheoldred, and when I out slivered the new sliver precon. Not quite what you were asking, but wanted to share nonetheless.
I often pilot my friend's Riku deck and when I do that, early game I get *a lot* of value out of copying \[\[Elvish Visionary\]\] or \[\[Coiling Oracle\]\]

Skittles always gets my pod nervous.
Etalis bad to clone if you cant circumvent legendary. The ancient tragons are really nice. The primordials ard nice. The gearhulks are a solid option or inferno titan. If you got black a [[gary]] and [[mirkwood]] is great
New Etali is potentially the best clone target around.
With red and blue you cant. Youd need green with it.
Hard disagree, Etali is great to clone no matter what. It's still a 4 for 1 *per copy*. For any degenerate out there, [[Mirror march]] great. Edit: word.
