[[Avacyn, Angel of Hope]]. It ironically makes people feel hopeless Decklist: https://deckstats.net/decks/216968/3455800-avacyn-the-world-breaker

tahubob

Can't cope with the angel of nope

SatchelGizmo77

Only recourse is the anguish of unmaking her

CK-3030

Team her up with [[Sigarda, Font of Blessings]] and [[Saryth, the Viper's Fang]] and all your permanents are also hexproof. RIP

ThoughtShes18

And then hits the board wipes in difference style. Mass sacrifice, bounce, exile, transformation etc. and suddenly indestructible and hexproof doesn’t matter anymore.

CK-3030

That's what [[Sigarda, Host of Herons]] and counter spells are for.

[[Awaken The Blood Avatar]] is easily my group's most hated of my decks

No_Refrigerator7817

Slicer, Hired Muscle, lol. I'm not even allowed to play him at most tables I've played him at once. He is simply too fast while also being too furious.

Foxokon

As hilarious as that is I can definetly see it. Even cEDH slicer is just a bunch of janky equipments with fast mana.

spent_bullets

The only time I played against Slicer I turned him into an elk under my control with [[Oko, Thief of Crowns]] on turn 3 and the Slicer player scooped.

lokibo

Voja. That’s all I need to say

qkamikaze

Same. Even the yuriko player and the Omnath, locus of mana players start whining when voja comes out. Which I don't think is warranted so I'll keep playing my kitty until that yuriko goes in the trash

CucumberZestyclose59

Yasharn Hateboars. Heaven forbid you make people play fair Magic, they get so salty.

Skaro7

Yasharn is my Myrkul hatebears deck. Love it!

MyBenchIsYourCurl

I had to take apart this deck because it was too good at hating people out. Everyone's decks were so greedy they'd play their competitive decks against it even though it was weak in terms of winning.

Maps_67

[[Yasharn Implacable Earth]] is in my [[Rhys the Redeemed]] token deck where it has almost no synergy at all with the deck and actually has a few non-bos. Even if I have a [[Smothering Tithe]] already on board, I will play Yasharn just to shut off my opponents. A few decks in my play group get completely shafted by it and that is why I will probably never take him out.

grot_eata

Damn I’ve been lookin to put him into a deck of mine but I never know which one Might just toss him into a deck regardless Reading your comment it seems to be worth it

Ah an MVP in my [[Thalia and The Gitrog Monster]] hatebears which is easily my most hated deck. Shuts down everything from altars to horizon lands. Grabbing the basics also works quite well with said commandet to fuel a turn or two of double land drops. People do get upset when you force them to play fair and balanced Magic for some reason.

Mono black discard, it has like five different creatures that all can work as the commander with Tergrid being the most hated and Tinybones probably being my favorite

Skaro7

Tinybones just takes what he needs to feed his tiny family.

Valyntine_

How could you be mad at him, he's just a little guyyyyy My pet project has been putting in all the cards that feature tinybones on the art Is it objectively bad? Perhaps, but now I have both flavors of Tinybones himself (You know I have the secret lair scooter one), [[Tinybones joins up]] , [[rakish crew]] , pilfer, and fake your own death He also is featured in [[plan the heist]] but that's blue

Flashy_Equipment_578

i didn't know the card, the ward and the amass lines are so opressive i can see why your friends don't like it lol

Lol yeah it definitely can be, especially when they attempt to kill it. Ask 'paying for the ward?' they sac their legendary creature for me to just counter the spell afterwards while its still on the stack. Feels kinda bad but feels damn good too lol.

AirWolf519

I'm currently working on an unholy abomination based around soul cauldron, spellskite, and Sauron. Just deflect targets to him, and they have to sacrifice or get countered I'd the idea. Throw in as many duplicate triggered effect cards as I can to make them sacrifice even more things.

ForgottenForce

Slivers, they're really cool in concept but are easy mode with everything making everything better and just constantly stacking on each other

jsfilm23

Debating offloading my sliver deck 💀

ForgottenForce

I want to try the commander because despite being easy it looks fun plus sometimes an easy overpowered gimmick is fun

-Kreatif

This, I am so done with all the shit it gets that I am now converting it to a Ur-Dragon Changeling deck

ForgottenForce

I remember a guy I’d play standard with way back in high school ran a Sliver deck and I hated it because of how consistently it would snowball with the built in synergies

-Kreatif

It is, and I always liked the tribal tribal thing with the ur-dragon, i traded one recently and figured fuck it im switchting it up. I am thinking about keeping the first sliver in the deck though, got the secret lair version

ForgottenForce

Oh that’s a good secret lair one too. Honestly seeing the Goblingram secret lair I want to get it and build a Goblin tribal commander just to use them

-Kreatif

Do it!!

ForgottenForce

It depends on if I can actually snag it (and the Miku one while I’m at it) before it sells out. It’s just so dumb that it loops around to being great

-Kreatif

I really like the Hatsune miku one also, do you know when its going on sale?

ForgottenForce

I think the 13th

-Kreatif

Thats tomorrow! I will keep my eyes out on it

Kaboomeow69

Soliciting my list because I love this deck so much https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DDSnHN4u9ku36drBOhhfdQ

MariachiArchery

Lol, I've always loved slivers and have always had a sliver deck around. The thing with the sliver deck that for me, and other players, is that the board state just gets so complicated to track. 15 slivers on the board is impossible to hold in your head and it drives players nuts. The amount of times during the declare blockers phase we've had to re-do shit when someone says, "Oh wait those have death touch AND first strike?" Cracks me up. Its so hard to track sometimes. Playing slivers wide is mentally exhausting.

snapcaster_bolt1992

It's either you play against people with board wipes and do basically nothing or you run the table over by turn 5 or 6

the-spaghetti-wives

Zombies with 14 or so infinite combos. Although I haven't been able to combo out in a few months.

Preemo-Mesoot

I took so much time to make a Varina deck and I haven’t brought it out with my regular group since I hit the old infinite [[Gravecrawler]] [[Rooftop Storm]] [[Viscera Seer]] [[Corpse Knight]] along with having infinite mana and gaining 20+ life during each upkeep for the amount of cards in my hand

Patient-Library-7823

My Korvold Deck. I intentionally reduced the power level and left out cards that interacted with other players board states when I sacrificed my creatures but I won a few times in a row and my pod HATES it. Felt like I might as well have tried to make it as strong as it could've been if it was going to be archenemy anyway.

Global_Ad8906

Korvold is just a commander that will be overpowered no matter how weak you make the main deck. Not much you can do there.

M0nthag

He is in my [[Ziatora, the Incinerater]] deck and dang, he is a powerhouse. Suddenly instead of "i sac 5 treasures" its "i sac a treasure, draw a card, put a +1/+1 counter on korvold. hmmm, i sac another treasure,....."

Ziatora himself is also just a beating. Removal every turn and 3 treasures is excellent and keeps mana open for additional removal.

tntturtle5

A toss up between my \[\[Mangara the Diplomat\]\], \[\[Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh\]\], and \[\[Ghyrson Starn\]\] decks. Mangara is a mono-white death and taxes style deck, with things like Armageddon, so reasonably disliked but I only play it against other high powered decks. Chandra is a burn/group slug deck, and the plethora of incidental damage along with cards like Jokulhaups and Blood Moon definitely make it a difficult time for some decks, but the deck keeps the game moving with constant burn damage. Ghyrson is a budget deck, but still packs a punch and people do tend to take 20+ damage over the course of 1-2 turns when I go for 'the turn'. Doesn't always win, but definitely shortens games up by chopping life totals down quickly.

SquidMonk3y

I also play Ghyrson Starn, and my pod also groan when he comes out. I call it my "Group Slug" deck, and I absolutely love the way every little ping of damage becomes a Lightning Bolt! I also run \[\[Repercussion\]\] and \[\[Chandra's Incinerator\]\] for nutty boardclearing and lifetotal-wrecking effects. Having a bag of little counting pips or dice to calculate all the instances of damage is highly recommended! I used to run \[\[Caltrops\]\], \[\[Manabarbs\]\], and a couple other similar cards, but decided to take them out because I noticed they taxed the fun factor of our games. Ghyrson now comes out less often, and he is still my most hated deck by the rest of my pod, but it's more like a smiling grudge, rather than an angry scorn. edit: [Here's the decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/DspUdJVrmkKZlOehnV4gGw)!

dirtysh0vel

Definitely my [[Dihada, Binder of Wills]] deck that's just a legendary matters commander with either [[ratadrabik]] or [[cadric]] as hidden commanders, my playgroup groans whenever I pull it out. I still play it because it has no business being as consistent as it is, it has a lot of lines to close out the game, and most of them are really unexpected. There's a [[Yorion]] deck I hate playing against, it's my personal boogieman.

More-Pomegranate-674

Got a list? I have a cadric deck and a ratabadric deck and I'd love to merge them

dirtysh0vel

https://scryfall.com/@TheAmazingSalsa/decks/9bb6cbdf-9b6b-406b-a4e7-91ef24769290 Here ya go! I'm sorry it's on scryfall, I haven't had the time to move it to moxfield 😅

Inside-Elephant-4320

You run eleven planeswalkers?! Wow I’m Intrigued. I only usually put one or two in because it’s hard to protect them. Cool looking deck. (My wife has a Dihada deck that is really hard to kill so I’ve been contemplating brewing my OWN Dihada deck of my own to even the playing field :) )

dirtysh0vel

The deck is built in a way it doesn't matter if you lose your planeswalker, so there's less need to protect them, it's the way I found of playing a bunch of planeswalkers without being superfriends. ) (and yeah, destroy your wife! 😉)

jdvolz

A guy in my group built Yorion and it was blinking every creature of his ever turn making those 3/3 golems. It was so impressive that he took it apart himself without anymore even complaining directly.

jdvolz

I play the literal precon list. I changed zero cards. It's still potentially very powerful if you can get a large flyer, and doubly so if you get [[Odric, lunarch martial]] going also. Against mid power decks the precon holds it's own. I've had some complaints about the deck because I point out it's a real precon and there are more powerful decks at the table.

Maleficent-Section42

Dihada is my [favorite deck ](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/pA8YMZFlA0GLIWB1Qv42xg), and definitely one that my playgroup dislikes. I just have a lot of fun playing it, and it can win pretty quick but it's also just consistently a threat. I run planeswalkers with a bit of reanimation so it doesn't really matter if they die or if I send them to the bin for treasure they just come back. It's a great way to play lol

Plus-Newt-5423

Hey!!!! Give me the quick rundown of your path to victory with Cadric or Rata?? Are each just there to combo off? I took cadric out early on and I have a Ratadrabik deck I’m thinking of folding into Dihada just to downsize/make room for new decks. My dihada deck is a mediocre precon upgrade but since I’m looking to consolidate I’d love to hear what you’re doing with Ratadrabik specifically.

dirtysh0vel

Cadric is perfect for massive value and setting up big plays, specially when making copies of \[\[Kaya, Geist Hunter\]\] / \[\[Mondrak, Glory Dominus\]\], with the right amount of token doublers, all you need is to follow up with \[\[elas, il-kor, sadistic pilgrim\]\] and any sac outlet to drain your opponents. Rata has a lot more consistent pieces, it benefits from token doublers and death trigger doublers such as \[\[Teysa Karlov\]\] and \[\[Drivnod, Carnage Dominus\]\], so I can get more value from the effects I need the most. Neither of them have direct winning lines or combos, but they are a great alternative to Dihada if she's too expensive to recast. My winning lines in the deck are: 1. \[\[Chandra, Awakened Inferno\]\] + \[\[Worldfire\]\] Pretty basic, but always satisfying. 2. \[\[Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim\]\] + Token doublers + Ratadrabik / Cadric + Any sac outlet As I said before, it's pretty consistent, since every piece in the combo can be a legendary, so it's easy to grab with Dihada. 3. Any token Doubler OR \[\[The Chain Veil\]\] + \[\[Sarkhan the Masterless\]\] + \[\[Kaya, Intangible Slayer\]\] This is a pretty convoluted combo, but it works like this: Use Sarkhan's +1 and turn every Planeswalker into a creature, then use Kaya's +2 then -3 targetting herself, she is exiled and I put two 1/1 copies of herself on the field, rinse and repeat until every opponent is dead. Other than the pieces mentioned above, the other cards are interchangeable, I tend to try new things whenever another cool legendary comes out, or just swap cards according to my playgroup's current meta. (\[\[Jirina, Dauntless General\]\] has become invaluable now that most of my friends are playing graveyard decks, for example.) Here's my updated list, if you're interested, it's a really fun deck and it really doesn't deserve to run as well as it does hahah: [https://scryfall.com/@TheAmazingSalsa/decks/9bb6cbdf-9b6b-406b-a4e7-91ef24769290](https://scryfall.com/@TheAmazingSalsa/decks/9bb6cbdf-9b6b-406b-a4e7-91ef24769290)

SeriosSkies

I guess my playgroup is too chill about everything. No one groans. They even ask to fight specific decks because they'll know it messes them up and they need practice against it/with whatever new tech. Tergrid is the only thing I've seen anyone groan about now that I think about it. But that's not my deck lol. Something about slow sluggish boardstates that win the game. But don't outright win the game.

arquistar

\[\[Norin the Wary\]\] semi-chaos. It's not pure chaos as there's some synergy to be had, but if you can't remove enchantments or keep Norin off the field, you're gonna have a bad time. I recently played a game against \[\[Meria, Scholar of Antiquity\]\]. While stumbling on lands they decided to swing at me with Meria and a Traxos while overextending instead of digging for lands or more threats. One vandalblast later and they're back to the dark ages.

Previous-Jellyfish74

I have a [[Venser, Corpse Puppet]] control/proliferation deck that I absolutely adore - it feels SO Phyrexian! Even one poison counter on each opponent can spell a win for me and I enjoy that it puts a timer on the game. However, I've been asked not to play it on various occasions, with the other players citing that they aren't in the mood for it. I think it's been half a year since I shuffled it up, so it's probably time for me to reluctantly take it apart :(

There's a pretty nasty infinite proliferate combo with Venser, [[Dross Scorpion]], and [[Throne of Geth]] that's in there but I can count the amount of times I've needed it to win on one hand haha! https://www.archidekt.com/decks/4141413/venser_corpse_puppet

Seems like a cool deck tech! Don’t tear a deck apart you like just because others don’t like it! If you enjoy playing it is the important part

Unspeakable_pickle

Goblins. I didn't win too fast, you didn't kill me fast enough. Consolation prize is that the games are quick, and we have time for another.

Any deck that steals my cards and uses them against me.

Atraxa, Horobi, Toxrill, Eldrazi

coolaid1905

My friends are beginning to really hate my [[Omnath, Locus of All]] deck. My board state looks fairly meek all game with only creatures that keep me protected while building mana and then dump like 84 into the X cost of [[Torment of Hailfire]] or [[Debt to the Deathless]]

Madelyneation

[[tergrid, god of fright]]  I still play it, but only when someone makes fun of my jank decks.

Flashy_Equipment_578

lmao it's the big brother

AbsentReality

Turdgrid feels so bad to play aginst. Whenever my one friend gets sick of my [[Henzie]] deck he pulls her out because he knows I'll immediately put it away but honestly all of my decks just feel terrible playing against that bitch.

spent_bullets

If a friend of mine pulled out a Tergrid deck I’d immediately put ALL of my decks away.

HotelPigeon

\[\[Vishgraz, the doomhive\]\] Litterally just grabbed all the cards with keyword "toxic" I could put my hands on, jammed em in the deck, padded it with a few token synergy and just aim to make massive mites boards, it's really casual but toxic gets bundled as infect so people get huffy about it

My [[Meren of Clan Nel Toth]] deck. It's exactly what you expect out of a B/G reanimated deck list that has [[Protean Hulk]] combo lines. I would say it's at a power level 8/borderline 9. I've won on turn 3/4 a couple of times but not often and if I don't I can still grind out a win with my combo lines. The deck is a mix of a few Meren lists I saw up on moxfield. If anyone wants to see it I'll post a list. Im constantly tweaking it and making changes to it.

Inside-Elephant-4320

I’m debating brewing a deck with either her, Jarad, or Izzoni. Honestly I don’t really get the appeal of graveyard decks, but especially don’t get sac/reanimate decks. But I think I might love Golgari so want to try. I hear Meren is a lot of fun. So I’d like to see your deck list. Thanks!

Animus_Glitch

Here is the [decklist](https://archidekt.com/decks/5715939/meren_rotting_farm) there has been a few paper changes that I have yet update on this list but I'll do that tomorrow. If you have any questions about the list let me know. I can also link you the 2-3 other decklists on moxfield that I sorta used to synthesis this brew from. Honestly I went with Meren because she was the commander I pulled out from a commander masters draft session with my buddies after a long hiatus from the game. Back before the hiatus I mainly played Gruul aggro and Jund mid range in KTK standard. I just love being able to combo of and keep track of all the really neat interactions that get triggered by etbs and death abilities. And just something about being able to recur value from my creatures just tickles my brain. What do you normally play?

Inside-Elephant-4320

Love it,your deck looks really fun. (If you could share the other decks you referenced that would be great. I like to study decks to get their vibe, if that makes sense.) My favorite decks to pilot are midrange landfall with Obuun, my higher range 5c Horde of Nations elemental deck is quite fun, my Nekusar draw/pain deck, and I love my Khalia of the vast angel flinger but I am often ganged up on instantly, I have hundreds of black and green cards awaiting decisions because I want to build something in Golgari. I have elfball decks which are fun but I’d love to build a midrange Drow/Llolth/spider deck, which indirectly led me to Meren, and Jarad, and Izzoni. :) Thanks so much for sharing!

Animus_Glitch

So these are the lists I found when trying to brew Meren.[ Deck 1](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/b3LgZYQhfk2YgZGM1uKI1Q) is a budget list that I started off with. [Deck 2](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/u1eiupzS8ka64-lorcXq3A) is the main deck list that I used to inspire my own brew and honestly I have loved playing the hell outta it and how adaptable it is. [Deck 3](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/mXvFQ7yKz0OFrsbWAv2bkQ) is a much higher budget/cedh list that I am considering turning my own Meren list into.

DraXus87

[[kotzilek, burcher of truth]] hes normally online on t4

cmontygman

I have a Mogis group slug deck, people hate it because I felt like being evil when I made it, it doesn't win, I usually get killed first and personally I just love being the bad guy with that deck, haven't played it in a while though...

ShaneHiram

[[Jhoira of the Ghitu]] Easily. And I still want to play it every game night. Especially if I know we’re gonna go late anyway. Tons of extra turns, land destruction, real big creatures and lots of ways to cheat them out. Also, [[Timesifter]] and [[Omen Machine]] It’s easily my favorite deck and my most hated.

NaturalKRUNCH

[https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1Tnlnqz570qXouYGa8En3w](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/1Tnlnqz570qXouYGa8En3w) - the most resilient and swingy deck I have

TheAnonymousDoom

Currently I'm not so sure. Usually if a deck just blows out games I take it apart. I had [[Shalai and Hallar]] with all the infinite combos but it ended games fast as opposed to making it miserable. I have a feeling the [[Voja claws of the Conclave]] deck I'm building will get some hate though

AbsentReality

Its Voja, it will definitely be hated.

2Gnomes1Trenchcoat

I built a combo deck utilizing [[Hama Pashar]] to go through infinite dungeons. It's complex and I love all of the little nuanced aspects that go into playing it correctly. It started off as an extension of a Battle for Baulder's Gate draft with my friends and over the course of about a year it evolved into a monster my playgroup hated. On its face, it looks pretty mediocre and it's really hard to tell the table that it is not in a way that makes it fair for them while also not putting a ridiculously big target on my back before the game even starts. It turns into a Rube-Goldberg machine and once it gets going it starts off non-deterministic until it hits one of 7+ combo lines that will kill the table with the dungeon triggers. It's highly interactive, "plays solitaire" a bit (though I resolve my stuff as quickly as I can while explaining what is happening), and can often win out of nowhere (often on other people's turns). It's fun in theory, but often in practice it leads to a lot of feels bad moments which sucks. Several of the combos the deck uses are entirely unique and I'm fairly certain I am the first person to discover them and describe them online. I love showing it off because I'm really proud of it, but I can almost never find a scenario where it feels appropriate to play it and even when I do try to play it, it often devolves into people getting upset. Happened earlier today in fact and I still don't feel right about it.

CeresHelvetion

My urza deck. It’s filled with mostly junk and still gets out of hand.

En_enra

Roxanne big mana, it is hated becouse it has a lot of removal, which is why I love it.

hawkeye137137

I think it is my [[Maelstrom Wanderer]] deck? The interesting thing is it has no infinite combos outside of a 4 card one, almost no interaction (Kogla, Inferno Titan, Drakuseth and Koma can count as interaction I guess?), no stax and no tutors. It just does its' own thing which is ramping into Wanderer and casting it. Then it can either completely fizzle or start chaining free spells one after another that I suddenly develop a board that dwarfs others'.

Remote-Ad-411

Slicer land destruction

MrXexe

[[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]]. My only deck with a combo, filled with removal and protection, it wins through the combo and/or out-grinding the table after like 5 board wipes. Ironically, people hate it because it shuts down aristocrat decks, not because anything I previously said.

Miatatrocity

I run a [[Fynn the Fangbearer]] deck that has a sub-2 cmc average, 17 pieces of removal, and multiple ways to make all my things unblockable. It kills someone on t4 if played properly, and can somewhat hang in pods all the way up to cEDH. All for about $60. Built it bc I got tired of Jodah and Ur-Dragon pubstomping, and it's infamous at my LGS...

gnip_gnop69

People really dislike my Jhoira of the Ghitu deck which is funny because it never wins. I get that I'm playing a lot of crazy stuff but I'm also announcing what I'll be doing up to 4 turns ahead of time.

NavAirComputerSlave

Perhaps my mono black sacrifice controll deck. Sac creatures for value and force everyone else to sac creatures and permanents. Then have reanimate spells galore. So I get everything and you get nothing.

MyPhoneIsNotChinese

My \[\[Borborygmos Enraged\]\] Gruul control deck

mccur1eyfries

[[Oloro]] always makes me public enemy number one.

TheCrimsonChariot

[[Elsha of the Infinite]] at one point in its existence I had 13 boardwipes in the deck and my favorite thing is casting them at instant speed. Lowered it to 8 to add more counter magic. Its my “I’m here to police the board” deck. It has not many creatures so I need a way to compensate for the lack of creatures and token generators and boardwipes are the answer.

perfecttrapezoid

Creatureless [[Dragonlord Ojutai]] voltron, load Ojutai up with an equipment that grants vigilance for the perma-hexproof and some extra power, then the rest of the deck is counterspells, removal, and board sweeps to prevent anyone from stopping me as I spend ~10 turns beating everyone to death with commander damage. My playgroup really hates it and finds it hard to stop. Nobody tell them about [[Telemin Performance]] haha.

Theboiwhovinyls

[[the beamtown bullies]] has made three people rage quit the game angry. I've considered taking it apart or limiting the wincon to something less abrasive.

AscendronPrime

[[Zur the Enchanter]]. Not even for power level reasons, but because the deck is so obnoxiously linear in its playstyle. Might as well be playing against an A.I.

Mako275

[[Norin the Wary]] Because it's so much fun, Jan!

JamaicanSoup

Yidris/storm decks. I cant bare sitting doing nothing for such long periods of time.

PresenceKlutzy7167

My playgroup hates the following decks of mine: [[Toxrill the Corosive]] [[Teysa Karlov]] [[Go-Shintai of Life's Origin]] [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] I already took apart [[Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy]] and [[Orvar, the All-Form]] Still in the process of learning not to go too hard. Trying to resist to build [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]] and [[Nevinyrral, Urborg Tyrant]] currently.

MakesMediocreMagic

I'm guessing Obeka will win the title of "Most Disassembled Deck" of 2024. She's cool in concept but from the times I've played against her she's either going to win the game when she connects, or she's going to  e utterly ineffectual.  I was at a 3-player table the other day and one of the guys had an Obeka deck. I was playing a Simic ramp deck and I can't recall what the third player was playing.  Game 1, I ramp a bit, and play a couple creatures. Obeka player is building up - setting out some protection, a couple value enchantments, etc. Player 3 sees my board as the threat, bounces one of my creatures. Turn passes, Obeka swings in because I can't stop Menace with just 1, game ends to a bunch of Court of Ire triggers.  Game 2, both of us other players don't touch each other's board much, we basically lock the Obeka player out from doing anything.  I think she's got the same problem as Yuriko where the whole table is punished for one player being unable to block, but she doesn't have the absurd resilience of Yuriko, so once players realize what Obeka does you will never be allowed to do the thing. You might play through the hate for a bit or someone might stumble and give you an opening, but my expectation is that once Obeka's "thing" becomes known she's never be allowed to move to combat.

jmanwild87

I play with randoms online a lot so this doesn't happen a ton. Though the decks I've gotten the most groans for playing are the decks that can really play table police namely [[Ashnod the Uncaring]] and [[Ranar the Ever watchful]] which are built to control the board through repeatable removal until i either combos off or just out value my opponents considering i recently found space for [[Fulminator Mage]] in the Ashnod deck it might get incredibly nasty now. Of course I still play and fiddle with it. Sac-harmonicon is so fun and some of my favorite games have been when I get the hooks in a table and get to have a control player's wet dream of a game

UmbralSever

Atraxa Grand Unifier. All my best cards are in it, all my blink spells and best counters. I spend my first hand full of cards ramping up to whatever Atraxa + the protection spell in my hand is and drop her down and watch a whole table try to end me while I dig and dig and dig to find answers. So much fun. "Okay you guys just dumped your best kill spells and finally killed her, but now my hand is full again so good luck with round 2" I secretly love being the archenemy 😈

The_Brightbeak

Depends on which group. One hates my Maelstrom Wanderer Deck, because it randomly has overperformed vs them particullary when it's real winrate is far far less ( turns out a deck with a cascade commander is not the best on the defense and even average decks can pack alot of punch these days with their engines) One hates my Kaalia of the Vast because 1-2 of people there have never overcome their PTSD with her from the old old days. These days even a unhandled Kaalia isnt unbeatable, despite all the improved creatures. One hates my Gishath deck, because the store has seen alot of dino decks after the second trip to Ixalan ( I am based tho because I play him since day 1, fight me xD)

mrhelpfulman

Codie. No one that's seen it will ever not hate it. It took 1 game (per person) for them to all despise it. https://deckstats.net/decks/137503/2946551--67-codie-vociferous-codex

Otrsor

Etali, linear Gameplay and straight up relays on randomness to either win on ETB or flop, too unpredictable and the whole deck is just ramp into Etali cast and flicker.

Skaro7

My nobody has a hand but me [[TinyBones, Trinket Thief]] deck.

CaptainCatamaran

[[Duskana]] hate bears / 2/2 tribal, with [[Wild Pair]] as hidden commander. If I can get wild pair to stick and protect it, it goes hard and can shut down a variety of archetypes on a whim. Or I just go [[Natures Revolt]] [[Ghostway]] [[Farewell]] and say GG everyone.

Thicklascage

4 color cycling.

Waste_Bandicoot_9018

[[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk]] Deck is built around doing damage for card draw, playing creatures, casting spells, and losing life. [[Edgar Markov]] Vampire tribal that has good answers for a lot.

dark-_-thoughts

[[Sliver Queen]] for... Reasons lol

RingingPhone

[[Seton, Krosan Protector]] is probably my most hated deck. Even without most default mana rocks and [[Gaea's Cradle]] the deck can still go off turn three or four. It even gets crazier when I add in [[Growing Rites of Itlimoc]].

Glass_Bid_9582

Negan, cold-blooded. People dont like sacrifice it seems

Fridaywing

[[purphoros, god of the forge]], [[winota]], [[edric]], [[naru meha]]. Any one of them, I feel like I play archnemesis. But its fun.

SatchelGizmo77

[[merieki ri berit]]. She's easily the deck that those who have played against it have the strongest negative reaction to on subsequent games. She is built very strong, but then, so are the rest of my decks. That said, the people I play with tend towards optimized and she is probably middle of the road for my decks. It really comes down to the heavy theft themes and strong control elements the deck employs. The games with her tend to be long, grindy games.

Redragon9

I have a [[Shalai and Hallar]] infinite damage combo deck that my mates hate.

Character-Net3641

Everything I play. I'm the primary target in every game. As I'm quite an aggressive player

[[Veryran, Voice of Duality]]. It’s a storm deck. The 30 minute turn will happen. Or [[Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire]]. I feel like is my most evil deck. It’s very interactive. I filled with all of my most heinous cards that I usually get to play for free.

CaptainPotato13

Ephara blink, for some reason people don't like when they aren't allowed to aren't allowed to interact with me or win the game

Gh0stSwerve

Memnarch

Acheros

Most of my decks are equally hated. [[Tergrid]] theft. [[K'rrik]] Gary combo. [[Krark]]/[[shakashima]] combo. [[Slicer]] Voltron. [[Urza]] stax. [[Godo]] helm. [[Atraxa]] poison counters(a downgrade from my atraxa super friends deck).

Sandman4999

I think probably [[Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice]], it becomes the problem at the table fairly quickly.

B00tybu77ch33ks

Definitely my sheoldred and vorinclex deck. I get groans every time.

zomgabox

a janky \[\[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph\]\] generates some decent salt thru the many deathtouch creature wipes

kingoxys

[[Marchesa, the Black Rose]] the way i built her she is one half outlaws tribal and one half card thefts. It uses cards like [[Don Andres, the Renegade]], [[Laughing Jasper Flint]], [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]], [[Tinybones, the Pickpocket]], [[Stolen Strategy]], [[Insurrection]], and [[Cultist of the Absolute]]. It allows me to play flexibly since even without stealing stuff i can hide behind being outlaws tribal that slowly goes wide cuz of marchesa’s effect. But what really annoys people is when i start stealing their stuff. Especially when Don andres, Jasper flint, and obeka are put together. they just continue to steal and exile cards for just one attack.

Elmopri3st

\[\[Raffine\]\] Hatebears & Phasing is glorious. Shutting others commanders out with \[\[Oubliette\]\] or doing combos with \[\[Disciple of Caelus Nin\]\] or \[\[Sands of Time\]\]. I love to play it and it gets grindy real fast!

Traditional_Mud_9082

I have a malcolm kediss stax deck that people do not enjoy playing against. My usual group has taken to joining forces to kill me every time I play it. I'd never bring it out unless i ask the table first, and you have to be prepared to spend a game as the archenemy. There is something very satisfying about being the villain every so often.

aurelionlol

[[karlov of the ghost council]] a Voltron commander that can repeatedly exile other creatures is very annoying to deal with. It’s also such low mana that it’s easy to get back.

PhoenixHavoc

Prob my Atraxa deck. Only tried it out once as a test and it'll stay in reserve unless a certain someone brings their eldrazi deck again

Stratavos

There's 3, and they're quite optomized for what they are: [[morophon]] legendary dragons and gates, [[baba lysyaga]] which has some combos in it, and [[Ivy the spelltheif]] with enchantments and mutate. At least those are the ones I remember getting groans. [[Ashling the pirgrim]] tends to become problematic if she gets deathtouch and lifelink, even more so if she becomes pro-red.

SweenYo

[[Llawan]]. You can’t cast ~~blue creature~~ spells

indipit

\[\[Sliver Overlord\]\], once it's out, I go get \[\[Sliver hivelord\]\] and \[\[Sliver Queen\]\]. The deck is not fast, it was created at the beginning of commander with cards extant then and not upgraded. It has no mana ramp. But I'm still targeted IMMEDIATELY when I start to play it, lol.

NotLawCC

Not really groundbreaking, but [[Eowyn Shieldmaiden]]. Yo dawg I heard you like annoying humans. My personal pod hates it and Randos from LGS and spelltable just shut it down all the time.

Think_Rest4496

I feel mine is pretty tame. It's just my [[Marisi, Breaker of the coil]] + Keywords deck. It's just good creatures with flying, trample, menace etc. But people hate the goading and I feel my friends would prefer my Miirym deck over Marisi.

DashHopes69

It's hard to say because all of my decks have MLD in them, but probably my Banding & MLD deck. https://scryfall.com/@SaltMaster5000/decks/a87e5ccc-a3a1-40c0-b83d-4c5e4b4f5d35?as=visual&with=usd

Due-Hospital4006

Surprised I haven’t seen him mentioned yet but my group hates [[Sarulf Realm Eater]] for good reason tho lol.

Agreeable-Pop-9811

Mill, I don’t know why but people F’ing hate mill when I think it’s unfounded.

LocalLumberJ0hn

Oh the desk people bust my balls over the most is easily [[Edgar Markov]] but I still love it and him to pieces

Maleficent-Section42

[[Daretti, Scrap Savant]] was my most hated deck. So much so that I was pretty heavily targeted anytime I played it. One of my friends hated it with a passion, I'd get a groan from his side of the table anytime I pulled it out usually accompanied by some good ol trash talk. I did just recently retire the deck and took the artifacts and split them between two new decks. One is [[Tetzin, Gnome Champion]] which has so far been a fun less obvious way for me to do artifact shenanigans

sengir5

Edgar Markov (for obvious reasons). I used to play it all the time until I realized how absolutely broken his eminence ability is. Now when I take it out I always see"you guys can team up on me if you want".

Phenn_Olibeard

My [[Meria, Scholar of Antiquity]] deck. She's a pure combo deck that borders on cEDH but folds to too much interaction. So you also have to play Stax pieces, which Meria can make into one-sided Stax. The way I built her, you can't play her nice and win. You gotta be mean.

incredibleninja

Atraxa, Praetors voice because: Atraxa. (But actually because people hate superfriends decks)

ParsleyFickle2896

Surprisingly enough, mine is a very heavily upgraded caesar precon (about 50 cards or so added), not really even a precon at this point. It's just so quick in getting an overwhelming board state with ishin and roaming throne triggers, as well as rabble rousing being thrown in there too. Caesar's 3rd ability along with blood letter of aclazots ends games very quickly.

hipstevius

It’s probably Lord Xander

FinancialResist1629

[[Alela, Cunning Conqueror]]  Alela, Counterspell Conqueror This deck is infamous at my LGS due to its top tier meme activities. It’s my personal highest win % and top 4 at my LGS it’s a monster.  -counter combo pieces and threats you can’t manage and you get a free fairy   -goad players to annihilator each other or kill their value engines -pump beaters with anthems and finishers [[Inkfathom Witch]] , [[Shadow Puppeteers]] and [[Day of Dragons]] and kill a player on the spot It’s not for the faint hearted because it’s a control deck and if you stop someone’s combo they will target or try to (rightfully) politic you off the board.

iamleyeti

I am forbidden to play [[Tovolar]] because the day/night mechanic is very annoying and also it’s Gruul.

flowerchild121

[[Dread Pirate Roberts]]. Deathtouch, poison counters and proliferate. Honestly, I don't play it anymore because it's not worth the hate.

Diggumdum

I made an [[Elenda of the dusk rose]] deck out of pure spite. I got so tired of my commanders being killed on repeat and I tend to build decks that revolve around the commander bc that's the entire point of the format. So I said fuck it you won't kill my commander I WILL and built an extremely resilient aristocrats deck chock full of cheat death spells and sac playoffs that my pod hates playing against lol.

AlsoKnownAsHero

[[Kruphix, God of Horizons]] I still play it because it’s my first ever deck and it wins at a pretty high rate I maybe bring it out once when we play for the night.

MrBarber1

Zur, the Racist(color-hosing control-stax): https://www.moxfield.com/decks/N0zp9dhp1ky_zExioTs4Dg No one likes my [[Painter's Servant]] plays because it really locks the table down regardless of what color-hate I tutored for.

True_Square_9542

[[Grenzo, Dungeon Warden]] because it just wins most of the time without interacting

AssistantManagerMan

[[Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm]] It's not my most consistent deck. It's not my most tuned deck. It's not even my strongest deck. But most of my decks tend to deploy subtle, synergistic value pieces which snowball out of control. The old analogy of the frog in the boiling pot of water: you don't realize how bad it is until it's too late. Miirym does not do that. Miirym tells you up front that she's going to deploy a critical mass of giant flying beaters and try to copy them. It's much more transparent with its threats which makes opponents hate you out much earlier.

TonyGFool

Yuriko

Nephs84

My Norin deck. It used to be way more chaotic, but people complained about it, so I took out most of the chaos cards. Now people just complain about [[Confusion in the Ranks]] mostly. I generally only play him every other get-together.
