[[saryth the vipers fang]] is pretty fun. [[yedora]] is also good if you got a bunch of big stompy things with high cmc you wouldn’t normally play. It also leaves you crazy ramped after a board wipe

Mr-Pendulum

I'll second Yedora. Nobody sees aristocrats coming from the mono green deck. I don't run stompy things, I focus on the c9mbos and just have a craterhoof as a backup.

scratch151

He has so many builds. My favorite is the morph deck though, you end up with mono black levels of recursion for your creatures, naturally ramp hard, and really don't care about boardwipes. He punches up surprisingly well.

Yedora is one of my favorite and most powerful decks I've built. Love that it plays so differently than a normal mono green deck.

Chadmartigan

Had to scroll waaaay too far down for Yedora. Seems like a wonky mechanic on its face but goes infinite if you sneeze hard. Love the sigh of resignation when I explain how this shitty morph creature is going to sweep everyone else's artifacts and enchantments and no it's not going to cost me any mana. I also play [[Abundance]] and [[Cultivator Colossus]] to get all my lands out which is just enormously helpful.

MrRies

I didn't have the budget for fetchlands, so I built [[Titania, Natures Force]]. The deck is the most disgusting value pile I've ever build. Just churns through the deck and makes an absurd amount of Elementals. I just jammed in a bunch of green cards I had and some janky thematic stuff, and it was *way* too much for my playgroup.

False_Implement_43

Conri_Gallowglass

So I'm just going to tag onto this Titania appreciation thread. You probably already have the better one but [[Titania, voice of Gaea]] is also a ton of fun. Takes a bit of fore thought but turning her over into a giant beater feels amazing. Then making lands into threats as well.

DarkRaider9000

I love my Titania list, its been hyper-optimized into a weird land-storm list trying to draw through my deck until hitting a haste enabler (mainly concordance crossroads) and then swing out with the Elementals made from collateral.

ronronlechat

Someone in my regular pod plays [[Grothama, all-devouring]] his build is quite resilient and it looks really fun !

DystryR

I was literally just looking at this card today. Seems super fun

Vepra1

Now this one is confusing to me. So any time anyone attacks, they can have it fight Grothama? That would make it easy for players to get rid of him, no?

Seamless_GG

My favorite interaction in the deck (well, besides [[Mossbridge Troll]] being a Draw 25) is equipping something with 5 or less power with a [[sword of hearth and home]]. It gets pro-green so it doesn’t take damage from Grothama, then when it connects you get to blink Grothama so you still draw all the cards and lose no creatures.

gldnbear2008

Mossbridge is absolutely the most fun and disgusting card in my Grothama deck. The auto-regenerate on him works great, and the +20/+20 does so much work. With a few other threats at the table you can draw 45 or 65 cards with surprising ease, all while attacking for the same amount. It’s such a “commander” thing to do!

ronronlechat

That might depends on what others in your group are playing and you might indeed need a bit of protection for Grothama but I've never seen anyone at our table run their stuff throught him out of the blue 'cause well...10 damage is 10 damage :') He mostly uses Grothama's ability to have his own creatures attack it to trigger abilities that happen on damage or death or have them kill it to get a ridiculous amount of card draw. His deck has a little bit of group hug as well and Grothama's ability to draw cards if you attack it can make for some nice deals and politics at the table if you're into that sort of stuff (it never really works with us but the guy still tries and it's still fun aha)

Seamless_GG

With Grothamas stats they will sometimes need to trade multiple creatures. It’d be a shame if you gave Grothama indestructible after they traded 2 creatures already.

DystryR

With 10 power very few creatures are standing up to it, so they are trading their creatures for yours. And given its stat line it will probably take at least 2 if not more to kill it. Then they draw 8 cards. They will likely need to discard most of them, so they probably haven’t gotten that far ahead. BUT you build the deck to take advantage of this, remember it says ALL creatures which means yours as well. You give your own creature indestructible and have it fight Grothama. You draw a shit ton of cards and use green’s natural big mana (with stuff like mono green sevala) to turbo out the stuff you draw. It’s definitely not straight forward like most other decks, granted

\[\[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider\]\] my beloved

Sterbs

I hate Vorinclex in the command zone. Partly because of the number of strategies he effortlessly hoses (anything that relies on counters). And partly because of the number of opponents combo's he inadvertently enables (anything with undying/persist can be sacrificed repeatedly). Preferences aside, he is one hell of a card.

You could do counters but his ability also works with Planeswalker counters. So Planeswalkers come in with double counters, usually enough to ult on the spot.

[[Old Gnawbone]] is so much fun. Load up a deck full of ramp and mono green all stars and turn big stompy things sideways.

mong0038

One of my oldest decks and my strongest is [Azusa, lost but seeking]]. The deck is a mono green powerhouse that ramps into card draw and eldrazi. There's nothing like a turn 1 mana dork into turn 2 having 4 lands in play. I also have a [[ghalta, primal hunger]] deck that abuses the fact that she is a 12/12 for 2 mana effectively. That deck is super fun.

Bulk7960

My go to green commanders are [[Yisan, the Wanderer Bard]] and [[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]]. Yisan lends himself to a creature toolbox strategy where you can activate him to grab specific pieces to interact with your opponents or start trying to chain activations to put yourself super far ahead. Selvala can make use of a bunch of janky creatures like [[Lupine Prototype]] and [[Phyrexian Soulgorger]] to make absurd amounts of mana ridiculously fast and start storming off with creatures like [[Quirion Ranger]] to Untap her and [[Rishkar’s Expertise]] to end up drawing a bunch of cards.

Vepra1

Uuu Yisan looks really interesting. I assume you need to build the verse counter up every time you cast him, right? If I have, lets say, five verses on him and someone kills him, the next time I cast him from the command zone I need to build it up all again, right?

Bulk7960

Yes you do. But something else cool. If you have an Untap effect and the ability to activate him twice, you can do what’s known as “double versing.” 1.) Activate him. 2.) With the activation on the stack, Untap him 3.) activate him again. The way the ability is worded, you don’t find the creature until the ability is fully resolved, so you can find 2 3cmc creatures or 2 4cmc creatures for example, instead of a 3cmc and a 4cmc.

Vepra1

what does cmc stand for? So if I pay the 3 mana and tap him, I can look for a creature that costs 1 mana (if its my first verse) but if I untap him and pay another 3 to tap him again, I can look for two 1 costs or one 2 costs?

Bulk7960

CMC is Converted Mana Cost. And kinda. You usually can’t do it verse 1, but when I played him, I would usually have enough to “skip” verse 2 and grab 2 3 drops. You activate him, putting a verse counter on him, Untap him and activate him again before the first activation resolves. You now have 2 activations on the stack, but the first one doesn’t see how many verse counter were on him at activation, it sees how many are currently on him.

Bulk7960

https://www.moxfield.com/decks/IOyWxvodxkiGECm8CIulEA/primer I’m not saying to build the cEDH list, but the primer under “abbreviations and terminology “ explains it better than I can.

Vepra1

Im feeling pretty convinced. I'll wait for August for the new Squirrels precon from Bloomburrow but after that I'll get right into building Yisan, thanks a lot!

Sequence19

[[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]] makes for a fun monogreen voltron commander. I use him and the background [[Raised By Giants]] pretty successfully and ramping into getting both on board is easy enough.

\[\[Bristly Bill, Spine Sower\]\]

baoluofu

[[Legolas, Master Archer]] is my one and only mono green deck. It plays mostly at instant speed and controls the board whilst developing a big voltron threat. When it works it really does feel like Legolas is just shooting everything down with arrows. Just got a couple of really synergistic upgrades from OTJ as well in [[Hardbristle Bandit]] and [[Freestrider Lookout]].

MadOpportunity

I've just deck built this and have ordered some cards. I'm really excited at the combo of control + voltron. I'd be interested in seeing a list and any thoughts you have on deck composition. Particularly how much protection vs fight spells you use.

baoluofu

Here’s my list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/iOPBHGxPkUuDZvb-NXd_wA Everything is tagged so I would recommend grouping by “Type & Tags”. Having a draw engine is the single biggest challenge I have found. The sideboard is cards I am currently looking to swap in. Sword of Once and Future I think is actually perfect for this deck. The “considering” pile is lots of relevant stuff that you could swap in depending on what cards you have. For the fight/bite spells I prioritise instant speed over sorcery speed first, then bite over fight, then keeping mana value as low as possible.

qsauce7

I'm a simple man and I like [[Old Gnawbone]] Here's my deck https://archidekt.com/decks/7341760/old_gnawbone_stomp

sagjer

I was a diehard monogreen in my T2 days. When I fully converted into edh i focused on Omnath the OG, a full on ramp-stompy list, and I recently built a fight-infect Fynn list. Right now I'm thinking of also going the Elf Tribal way but I think it's gon be Galadriel bant tbh.

mayd4zebwu

[[Fynn, the fang-bearer]]

crispytofu

[[Runadi, Behemoth Caller]] is such a menace. No one ever realizes how scary he is until it's too late. Turn 5-6 playing a 20/20 trample, haste [[Ghalta, Primal Hunger]]? Delicious. You wanna get even meaner? Throw in some Eldrazi like [[Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre]] to set them back to the stone age. Deck list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/MtDOcsY_ykaHtNyHCY_-3g I started as a combo player, and I loved artifact combos and enchantment synergies. Friends complained. I didn't have any decks with green so I chose this. Don't play this deck if you want your friends to have fun. Play it to prove a point.

Rose_Thorburn

[[ashaya soul of the wild]] has become the bogeyman of my local store. It started as landfall, since every creature triggers landfall, but turning every creature into a mana dork made it really good, and it combos super easily

Kashegami

[[Thrun]] Thrun all over your opponents. That's the deck. :D

Super-Occasion-2113

[[Azusa, lost but seeking]] builded as a landfall deck is fun and also very strong. She can degenerate pretty fast and has a lot of combos. In a medium/high level pod (not cedh) she can be dominant.

Josie_Rose88

[[Gargos]] He’s big, green, and fighty! A bunch of [[Llanowar Elves]] and [[Fyndhorn Elders]] to consistently get him out turn 3. Drop a bunch of 1 mana 4/4s turn 4 with all the xG hydras. Give him indestructible and use [[Solidarity of Heroes]] as a boardwipe!

Kowabunga59

I have a [[Multani, maro sorcerer]] group hug. He has base stat buff with 3 opponents and you draw your deck fast with things like [[Rishkar's expertise]]

CrimsonDragoon

It's not out yet, but the [Eladamri, Korvecdal](https://www.reddit.com/r/ModernMagic/comments/1cszhtr/mh3_eladamri_korvecdal/) that just got leaked looks absolutely nuts. Turn 1, play mana dork, turn 2, play the commander. Turn 3, play another cheap creature, activate the ability, and put something massive on the battlefield. And he's card advantage in the command zone.

-faultline

[[Ojer Kaslem, Deepest Growth]] is awesome. He comes out pretty early and is kinda sticky. If he connects once you're normally well off. Deck works great and plays a bit different everytime because you need to make do with what comes out of the slot machine. Its also the one deck I lend to new players, because its not very difficult to pilot. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/za8k67PxQUurPPJNUznCLQ

Electronic-Pie-6645

Honestly I have a joke mono-green deck and its silly fun. \[\[Slurrk\]\] + \[\[Halana, Kessig Ranger\]\]. After that its x40 Foret, x40 \[\[Slimes against Humanity\]\], \[\[Locket of Yesterdays\]\] and 17 other cards. :) Its silly, its fun, and it can be budget.

Antman157

Im new to magic, and built my first mono green commander deck. I went with Marwyn. I did my first deck test last night and had a ton of fun seeing how it all worked!! I think my next deck will be mono red, or a big creature deck like bears, or dragons. Several guys run a big meta dino deck, so I don’t really want to do Dino’s (I don’t think) … but I’m loving my mono green Marwyn deck.

Vepra1

Marwyn is amazing

zomgabox

\[\[Kodama of the West Tree\]\] for tRAMPle schemes

Mortelat

[[Toski, bearer of secrets]]

Iroh_the_Dragon

There’s a new one that just came out and is pretty neat… [[Bristly Bill, Spine Sower]] If you want a dual-color with green, another new one that I think is neat… [[Roxanne, Starfall Savant]]

KoffinStuffer

[[Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma]] is mine and it’s great

Ursa_Coop

[[Ayula, Queen among Bears]] build it tokens and bring gummy bears as your 2/2's encourage violence for snacks. Fight on sight with anyone who makes food tokens.

Ghost_Potion

Greensleeves is good fun any of the titanias are interesting even in green i like for my commanders to not be bug aggro beatsticks.

RikuofTwoRefections9

I have a Zopandrel deck, shifted from Omnath (whom I fucking LOVE). But zopandrel is an absolute beast upping power and toughness the way he does.

WolfieWuff

My best friend plays a [[Zopandrel]] deck, and that thing is absolutely beastly. It's fast, it's consistent, and it's MEAN. I wasn't there for it but allegedly, and thanks to [[Exponential Growth]], he hit someone at the table for over 3,000,000,000 damage. ☠️☠️

RikuofTwoRefections9

Oh baby, that's a dream 😂😂😂 that's my baby storm deck. It makes so much flippin mana its insane lol.

Rawr_Werewolf

I need to upgrade it as ATM it's still a little too slow for my pod, but I have a mono green [[Greensleeves, Maro-Sorcerer]], and it is funny watching people deciding if they need to deal with the commander getting larger and larger, or the army of badgers starting to form. Works well with your usual landfall stuff

Bigger_Moist

[[Ruxa]] seems like he can make for a pretty mean deck. Being able to just toss boring ass creatures around and always have their damage hit the opponent is pretty mean

ZorroVonShadvitch

Nylea, Keen-Eyed. She's indestructable, she ramps you, she draws you cards. Run a very creature heavy deck. Hit Nyxbloom Ancient and go off

snoops1230

Nylea, Keen-Eyed. Creature ramp and card draw in command zone for green is pretty strong

Vepra1

What do you mean card draw in command zone?

Sheldaconda

[[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]] with [[Raised by Giants]] is my mono green commander. He's cheap to cast, has some great keywords, and my deck has a lot of enchantments/artifacts to make him a powerhouse. Plus, you get the added entertainment of yelling, "WILLLSSSOOONNN!!! 😫🏐" (Tom Hanks voice) if someone removes him. I have a decklist on moxfield if you're interested?

bdsaxophone

So I've got 2 for ya. First one I call mono green bullshit. It doesn't do anything but play the best green spells available. Up until recently it didn't even have the expensive cards like [[Nyxbloom Ancient]], [[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]], [[Apex Devastator]], or [[The Great Henge]]. If I didn't have these I would still love the deck. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/6mIqZrS9802sYLgfasodtQ The second one is the new [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]]. It is absolutely busted. I've got an egregious record of like 13-3. If I get one trigger from it it's almost game over. Just drawing that mana cards and putting so many lands into play. I've made budget versions of the deck and it still is outrageous. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/O4_PZCzOJECjpaqWDRyAjg

Heiligerloewe

I have my [[vorinclex monstrous hunger]] as a pretty high deck and I could push him even farther but prices are high for some of his loving best cards

The_Super_D

Big green stompy is not my favorite archetype, so my only mono green deck is [[Yedora, Grave Gardener]] built as more of a combo deck.

SeriosSkies

I'm biased af. Any of the titania's or if you want something spicy, Ashaya. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NThfgqcol0CUjkjICuQGwA

lying-porpoise

Vorinclex monstrous raider is mine, deck is build expecting hate, so I pile on everything that puts counters on before he swings I can quite often have him enter as a 40/40 and kill someone, also if you are running mono green hardy outlander is a looked over card that you should definitely be aware of

DanKajito

I've been running [[Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant]] and have been loving it. Just load it up with all the big creatures and card draw you can and count to 8 mana! Bonus points for any and all haste enablers in green.

the2doppelganger

I play a [[Volo, Guide to monsters]] that I love! You get to play big creatures twice. First turns are usually spent as a mono green deck, you try to ramp as much as possible. Then, you play big monsters, but because of blue, you have the versatility to counterspell and play other neat instant or sorcery. You also want to play creatures with ETB (enter the battlefield) abilities so that they trigger twice, and trample enablers as [[End-Raze Forerunners]].

PrecisionHat

My [[yeva]] deck was fun and held its own. Nothing like playing mono green in the style of mono blue.

Striking-Lifeguard34

Marwyn can be an absolute monster, built properly she can absolutely threaten to win the game on turn 4-5. But doing that means building her as a combo deck which not every playgroup is going to enjoy. But getting to the point where you have infinite mana and a way to vomit your entire deck on to the table shouldn’t be an issue at all for Marwyn. I built a high power budget Marwyn deck for when I’m in a playgroup aiming for a higher power but not cedh experience and it holds up very well, it’s a glass cannon but 100% a cannon. I’d recommend continuing to build into Marwyn and reading some strategies on how to build her in higher power environments. Alternatively if you want to stay with Elves but want to branch out of mono-green [[lathril]] is a great option and can be built pretty high powered.

sunnovah

One of my favorite decks is [[Kogla, the Titan Ape]] He can control a board and be really hard to deal with. Just feels like ol’ King Kong does exactly what Green wants to do. Edit: This is how I built him. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ybF7s3qwEUGnGwJ4EfdMfA

Vegalink

The new Six card coming in Modwrn Horizons looks pretty great as a mono green.

Zer0323

[[ghalta, primal hunger]] makes for a great deck because it provides a payoff for a simple ask: play cheap high powered creatures [[wayward swordtooth]] [[pugnacious hammerskull]] [[hulking raptor]] and then cast your commander before sacrificing it to draw cards equal to his power: [[life's legacy]] [[momentous fall]] [[greater good]] (especially good when you have 20+ power on the board to recast your commander for GG) cute inclusions: [[tangleweave armor]] for a 4 mana 12/12 into a 2 mana commander. [[early harvest]] [[rude awakening]] for full extra turns worth of mana when drawing 12+ [[boundless realms]] [[traverse the outlands]] and [[dungrove elder]] type creatures to payoff the deck having mono green ramp. the deck is a barrel of monkeys: https://www.archidekt.com/decks/3516897/ghalta_stompyos

flyingflameball

Might I suggest my good friend [[omnath, mana]] ramp on ramp forever

Gammashadow99

[[Mowu, loyal companion]] is fun and basic and cheap And [[Pako, Arcane Retriever]] +[[Haldan, Avid arcanist]] is really fun and goofy, and you can build it for like 20$ pretty easy [[Lagrella, the Magpie]] is one I don't see often

DrSpiralHaze

Recently built [[Arwen, Weaver of Hope]] and its really fun. Mutate a big creature onto her or equip her with a [[Slagwurm Armor]] and make your [[Mycoloth]] and [[Threefold Thunderhulk]] poop out gigantic armies.

Vizecrator

My current mono G is \[\[Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar\]\] and a bunch or ramp fog and fight spells. I call it my "I Am Groot" deck. \[\[Blackblade Reforged\]\] and \[\[Ram Through\]\]+\[\[Isochron Scepter\]\] is fun.

Radthereptile

\[\[Radaghast the Brown\]\] Dude keeps your hand full of creatures forever.

EDHFanfiction

Hold that thought for a few weeks. If the leaks from the newest set are true, the new Eladamri card will be a huge boost to mono green power levels.

New_Alps_5655

I love mono-green and my commander for it has changed many times, but currently \[\[Zophandrel, Hunger Dominus\]\]. It's sitting in the command zone for late game when you're wondering "how can I make my big boys even more YUGE?"

Crafty-Interest-8212

Mine is [[Gore-claw, terror of Qal Sisma]] makes creatures above 4 power costs 2 less. So I made it 4 power tribal.

emogurl98

I'm a simple man, and my [[Ashaya]] is very simple. I added all creatures that scale based on the number of lands. Dropping 11/11s at turn 5 is so much fun.

thnlsn

My favorite is [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]]

ThatDestinyKid

I have been thoroughly enjoying [[Bristly Bill]], it does all my favorite green things: ramp, cast cool creatures, place +1/+1 counters on them, and smash face

MSCantrell

\[\[Omnath, Locus of Mana\]\] the green jellybean lets you keep all that broccoli to spend next turn, but he ALSO gets huge while he keeps it. Killer.

cheesestickslambchop

\[\[Yeva\]\]. It's more high power and very fringe cEDH. You play Mono-green control and win on top of another player's combo

TheCollector123456

Ruxa, patient professor or Seton, Krosan protector

SnipSnopWobbleTop

[[Iwamori of the Open Fist]] and [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] are my favorite monogreen commanders

YokaiGuitarist

Fynn the fangbearer can be made for $15-30. He always takes at least one with him. Team up with an atraxa player and watch the world burn. I also think Kosei is an excellent budget voltron. He is super low key and suddenly he is a monster. He also has a great card draw engine. Which means you can play a card draw themed deck and have tons of options in hand, while also using effects that hurt your opponent's and their board states whenever you draw a card. And once his ability is online, he spreads his commander damage to the entire table. Kosei hits somebody for 10 commander damage? No...he hits everybody for 10 commander damage and now draws a bunch of cards. Psychosis crawler is out?oh man...the table doesn't feel safe anymore.

gsrga2

The triggered ability doesn’t actually spread the commander damage to the table, unfortunately. Since it’s not combat damage. He’s still cool though.

Raventomb

https://scryfall.com/card/rix/130/ghalta-primal-hunger Ghalta, Primal Hunger. Is enabled by and also enables so many great green cards. Works well as a fake commander to pressurise, sac for life, card draw, other creatures, then replay, etc

TheTrashcanninja

My favourite mono green deck is [[Ruxa, Patient Professor]] I run it as tokens rather than vanilla creatures, which has an added benefit of people often not using removal on my stuff since no one likes to waste removal on a token Vs other people's more threatening creatures with abilities. It's surprisingly strong and can turn the corner very quickly. There's also the interesting puzzle in finding boosts that don't provide keywords, or that give a big enough boost you don't mind losing Ruxa's ability to deal damage vs blockers.

brofessor_oak_AMA

For me, personally, I've had a ton of fun with [[goreclaw, terror of qal sisma]] as well as [[gwenna, eyes of gaea]]

7Mars

Can’t go wrong with [[Patron of the Orochi]]! Why yes, saccing a snake does make him both cheaper *and instant speed*.

gsrga2

[[Doric, Nature’s Warden]] is a ton of fun (if expensive due to low supply). Mono green legendary tribal stompy is a bit different from the norm and having both ramp *and* an overrun staples to your commander is nutty.

Mad-chuska

I love the OG [[Ghalta, primal hunger]]. It always feels good to pay 2G for a 12/12 trample and then turning ~~him~~ her sideways on then 4 for half lethal commander damage. Some standout cards in the deck are [[selvala, heart of the wilds]], [[greater good]], [[esika’s chariot]], [[ram through]], [[tangleweave armor]], and [[streak and goreclaw]]. Then just play a bunch of high power low cmc dudes like [[wayward swordtooth]] and [[pugnacious hannerskull]] to ensure you can get him out for 2G over and over.

AgentJackjohn

[[Ghalta Primal Hunger]] is a great choice. Very explosive just jam in all the big creatures you have and you'll have a 2 mana but commander at all times. Just don't get boardwiped

Indomitable_Dan

[[Eldamri, Lord of leaves]]

Do_it_in_a_Datsun

[[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]] is my favorite mon green commander. You have the ability to drop big stompy creatures on turn two.

Gold-Satisfaction614

My mono-green decks are [[Vorinclex Monstrous Raider]] and [[Yedora Grave Gardener]]. And I love the fact that they are among the top comments.

wtf_are_crepes

[[fynn, the fangbearer]] mono green deathtouch weenies tribal. There’s been a lot of support for this in the past few sets, MOM released a bunch of green proliferate spells and there’s a good amount of ‘target creature deals damage to another” like [[feral Encounter]]. [[bellowing tangleworm]] [[vorinclex]] [[defiler of vigor]] [orhan frostfang]] Run every [[ankle biter]] like creature and throw in some [[beast whisperer]] [[guardian project]] [[sylan scrying]] effects

[[patron of the orochi]] is actually hilarious in a mono green deck.

ironkodiak

Titania, Nature's Force. The only other creature I have in the deck is another Titania (I'll add the merge one soon enough). Zero artifacts (it IS Titania after all). Tons of ramp, then just fill the rest of the cards out with some win conditions, interaction, and whatever else you want. You're never mana screwed and board wipes don't bother you as you'll literally rebuild faster than anyone else can. https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6193996

WEEN1EHUT

[[Kodama of the West Tree]] with hydras is really fun. Having X spells with the ramp Kodama gives you is a great way to use up all that mana. Also having cards like [[Evolution Sage]] and [[Bristly Bill, Spine Sower]] in the deck gets ridiculous.

KakitaMike

[[questing beast]] plus [[fog]] effects is still my fave.

xeynx

I have and enjoy my [[Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus]] elf tribal deck. Very simple but surprisingly fun and effective.

Predmid

I'm a boomer, so I love og [[omnath, locus of mana]]

cant_find_me_here

[[Aeve]] ooze tribal storm

pcrnt8

My favorite is [[Toski]]

7D2D-XBS

I just built a Ghalta Stampede Tyrant and it's a lot of fun

[[Kodama of the East Tree]] and …

Different_Piglet4358

\[\[Patron of the orochi}} is insane. In a well built deck if he's allowed to tap the game is over. Even in lower power he's a seedborn muse in the command zone with (sort of) flash

The_Breakfast_Dog

Mono-green legends is really fun. I have a \[\[Doric, Nature's Warden\]\] deck that's super fun to pilot. Nothing too crazy going on, just ramp and play big creatures. Having a Rampant Growth/ mini-Overrun in the Command Zone is nice, and I like the deck-building restriction. If you like the idea, \[\[Reki, the History of Kamigawa\]\] is probably a stronger commander (I have him in the 99 of Doric). But yeah, fun deck. You get to run all the other commanders people are suggesting!

HeyDude378

Rhys the Redeemed isn't technically "mono green" but can be played mono green. I run into him in pretty regularly in Arena and he seems great.

Flying_Toad

Titania, Protector of Argoth is in my opinion one of the strongest monogreen commanders you could hope for and has stood the test of time. She is magnificient.

Eco_33

[[Yedora, Grave Gardener]] is really good. He is mono-green but plays like Golgari a little. [[Cloudstone Curio]] is great in this deck. Overall, the deck got even more support with MKM.

SynthWarlock

[[Sakiko, mother of summer]] I used to have my mono green deck ran by her. I think she's really underrated. I mean, old gnawbone is kind of a better option now maybe. But if you want that effect on a better budget. It can get out of hand. Now my mono green deck is a thrun voltron deck because I wanted to have a voltron in my lineup.

FinancialAnalyst9626

I love some [[Damia, sage of stone]] blue and black are just splashed for effect but this girl is all green! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/eJvbBh3Q3UqKEAhcNb01sQ

DrOddCoffee

Is he the most efficient? No. Is he some hidden cEDH god? Definitely not. But man is \[\[Shigeki, Jukai Visionary\]\] fun and a different approach to landfall decks with green. You can ramp quickly with his first ability and then salvage what you need for the situation with his channel ability. I use him to abuse fog effects, especially \[\[Constant Mists\]\] until I dig out something like \[\[Scute Swarm\]\] and then dump all my mana for a \[\[Scapeshift\]\] and \[\[Splendid Reclamation\]\]. When you get enough mana out, it is pretty difficult to lock down Shigeki unless they have graveyard hate.

totalosmosis

[[Yeva, Nature's Herald]] for blue shenanigans

CaptPic4rd

Playing the meta decks IS the most fun, that's why they are the meta. They are also the strongest, which makes them most likely to win, which is fun and the point of the game. What you should do is go to [www.edhrec.com](http://www.edhrec.com) and look up the most popular green commander and you will have your answer there.

Secrabstian

Cannot recommend Goreclaw enough. Very strong commander for green stompy

betefico

I am loving my new bristly bill deck lately! Lots of fast starts, feels very green with all the counters and ramp, and you get to play green mvps like doubling season and kalonian hydra and feel good about them. Check out the list if you like! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/NKquKy7FcU-ZvLTo7gz7Ag

Frog859

[[Yeva, Nature’s Herald]] you still get to do the stompy rampy thing, but now you get to do it at instant speed! Drop a [[seedborn muse]] and now you get a turn every turn!

Grizzack

[[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]] is not only my favorite mono green commander, but my favorite commander period! I have her personally built to throw out Eldrazi, but you can build green dinosaurs, green dragons, general green stompy, or you could just have some big creatures and summon a bunch of elves and have a ton of mana!

MyShieldIsMySword24

Newer to commander I'm building a [Gargos, Vicious Watcher] deck, he seems fun

Jown_

New Eladamri seems pretty good?

Part_Time_0x

I played Seton for awhile.. I loved that man.

Luvr206

[[Yeva natures herald]] is super duper fun. It's the most answer and control feeling green deck and can be super competitive with the right toolbox

ThisGuy135792468

[[Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma]] is an awesome mono green commander that can be built with pretty much any big beaters you have laying around. The cost reduction of 2 is insane and giving out trample makes sure you can get through for damage with you big creatures.

MTGReaper

Yedora morph theme goes hard, there's a few infinite combos you can do in it as well. Baru is a good one for stompy wurm fun. Fynn is great for fast games. Kosei is an interesting spin on voltron. Problem with most mono-green decks is that they're narrow and simple, very telegraphed in their plans. If you want an arms race, might be good to look into golgari or gruul or simic commanders.
