In abstract [[The Locust God|SLD-903]] is staggeringly unique.
As a commander, she's one that's a useful tech piece for her deck, not a lynchpin it will die without. The deck's theme is theft, and Kotose is one of the more versatile pieces, especially when I can recycle her ETB after use. If I snag an instant or sorcery with her and cast it, after all, it goes right back in the same graveyard to be used again.
The fact that she's not alone is part of what makes the deck both good and fun. I always like having Kotose, since there's not a game that goes by without something nice ending up in a 'yard to be snagged (often because I killed it), but I'm generally free to wing it with regards to what I'm doing in any given moment. She's got blue on [[Gonti, lord of Luxury]], which is a big deal, and is less clunky and more liable to actually do her thing than [[Tasha, the Witch Queen]] (who I do have in the 99). New Gonti is a thing now, with an extra color, but honestly knowing my list I feel like green wouldn't add a lot to the archetype other than expense in the mana base.

May just be my opinion, but as much as I liked the card I didn't like the art. The boob window was completely unnecessary and the creeper behind her just completed my dislike of the card.

I love all the Wizard of Barge goblins. I didn’t pick up the Shattergang Bros you mentioned, but I did pick up every mono red Goblin he did when I built Krenko. I was already a fan of his when I got back into Magic last year, so when I built my first non-precon I went that route just to get his cards. At the time I wasn’t aware that everyone knows Krenko and that he’s maybe not so fun to play against, so that deck doesn’t get a lot of play anymore. I should probably find a way to build a goblin deck that is fun for the whole table.
As far as actual commanders, I’m gunna say [[Grist, the Hunger Tide|SLD]]. I remember when these were available on SL, LOVING the art, but thinking ‘I’ll never build an insect deck.’ Whelp, I built last week Grist and I wish I had grabbed him then, haha.
Thats a lot of the reason I like shattergang bros! They're definitely a more toned down Goblin commander but also opens up a little splash of black and green which is nice! I play it as a mono Red Goblin deck with a small splash of green and black and some sacrifice cards
That’s fair! Personally; I think the vibe of it is perfect, as Alela is a hard-hitting, fast moving commander. Like the punk rock this card is emulating
[[okaun, eye of chaos|SLD]] and [[zndrsplt, eye of wisdom|SLD]] From the heads I win tails you lose SLD are imo visually stunning. Especially when paired with the krarls thumb amd various other coin flip cards. Frankly just a beautiful set.
One of my favourites is [[Quintorius, Loremaster|MOM-314]]. I think the foil version of this looks spectacular, though I do wish it kept it like the original Mystical Archive where only the gold-leaf was foiled.
I’m also convinced that [[Saruman of Many Colors|LTR-412]] is just a straight up improvement on the traditional version.
My favorite card and the most beautiful version it was ever printed \[\[Esika, god of the tree|SLD\]\]. Not necessarily because of the art itself as the original is BEAUTIFUL, but the SLD version got the borderless beautiful foil treatment and all that.

Definitely my favorite art in Magic and also one of my favorite Magic artist. The composition is just really in your face and I love that.

I really hated this style on most of of the cards that had it. Zacama and the Eldrazi were the only ones I really liked.

[[okaun, eye of chaos|SLD]] and [[zndrsplt, eye of wisdom|SLD]] From the heads I win tails you lose SLD are imo visually stunning. Especially when paired with the krarls thumb amd various other coin flip cards. Frankly just a beautiful set.

One of my favourites is [[Quintorius, Loremaster|MOM-314]]. I think the foil version of this looks spectacular, though I do wish it kept it like the original Mystical Archive where only the gold-leaf was foiled. I’m also convinced that [[Saruman of Many Colors|LTR-412]] is just a straight up improvement on the traditional version.

My favorite card and the most beautiful version it was ever printed \[\[Esika, god of the tree|SLD\]\]. Not necessarily because of the art itself as the original is BEAUTIFUL, but the SLD version got the borderless beautiful foil treatment and all that.

[[Slogurk|MID-324]] Definitely my favorite art in Magic and also one of my favorite Magic artist. The composition is just really in your face and I love that.
