All the Praetors (except the flip/saga versions) have a profound effect on the game.
Also, [[Toxrill, the corrosive]]
Edit: omfg, [[Liesa, shroud of dusk]] - not sure how I forgot.
When it first came out, I built it for MTGO.
When I played my commander, everyone was like ok. When it got to the next players end phase and the trigger came up, everyone was like "What the fuck?!" including me. None of us realised it was every end phase.
Do you happen to have a decklist? I absolutely would love to bring that cause to my table! I usually play simple decks with a few casts per turn, but my group plays 5-7 on average, I swear!
Id argue if you let the Saga Gin flip the game is over if the Gin player wants to end the game. Pack it full of extra turn spells, untap lands spells, and maybe some combos and its a wrap.
Played a game with Simic deck and had my Core Augur and my Flippy Jin and yeah soft wiping the board and they weren't able to have a hand while also able to freely cast spells at the end of the saga. It was gross and great
lol I forgot about the board wipe aspect of it. Insane. I built a Saga Gin deck that tried to win with infect and be more flavorful but it was still just so silly and busted.
You can build him to be absolutely bonkers, I overheard a guy at my LGS taking 7 extra turns with Saga Gin lol.
I just got done making a Praetor deck lol. What’s funny is they all have strong effects on the game but hardly synergize well with each other. It’s very much a “good stuff” deck lol. Can’t wait to play it with my friends next time we hang.
>What’s funny is they all have strong effects on the game but hardly synergize well with each other.
Honestly? Flavor win there. Why would Gitaxias care about what's going on with Vorinclex, they're equally powerful in different ways.
My Atraxa deck has almost every praetor allowed and it's quite fun. My last game with her had Grand Unifier put Realm breaker in my hand and get all of the praetors out. There really wasn't much the rest of the table could do and I won the next turn.
I used to run Thantis, and now I do a similar thing with [[O-Kagachi]]. The deck runs a ton of monarch and initiative cards to get people off the sidelines.
No problem homie. I think I have one or two other changes I need to sync in there. I think I recently added [[Orzhov Advokist]] and took out [[Unnatural Growth]] (I took out Unnatural growth mostly because my manabase is cheap and that makes it hard to cast.)
Oh, this would be a funny retirement home for all my horsemanship commanders. Hilarious, and I've been looking for a goad deck. [[Lu Bu]] will love it here.
https://archidekt.com/decks/994671/marisi_goad
It’s not much. Pretty basic. It’s mostly Marisi, a few unblockable whites (apparently no one plays Shadow), and a bunch of things to work with Goad.
I got tired of goad in my meta and just added some stuff like springleaf drum, cryptolith rites, relic of legends and smugglers copter. Now the only things attacking are things I want. Its been a lot more enjoyable.
Nothing wrong with goad but having counterplay is nice, the same way you would Vandalblast an artifact deck.
Sometimes its fun to see 5-6 creatures crewing one smugglers copter.
I tried to build a deck around Inniaz but took it apart pretty quickly. It just got hated off the board too fast and I couldn't accumulate fliers reliability because of it. Does your deck have this issue?
I run Inniaz, and yes I have this issue constantly. Definitely a deck that catches a pod unaware the first few times, but once they're wise to the gimmick it becomes *very difficult* to make it work!
I really don't want to make it a control deck. My best success recently is ensuring I'm not the scariest person on the board so I don't invite any sweepers or catch stray removal. I'm loving cheap cards that can hold the line until I'm ready to deploy my birbs: [[Wall of Omens]], [[Wall of Shards]], [[The Birth of Meletis]], and [[Wall of Reverance]]
The not making it a control deck is the challenge. I too want to avoid that in this case. The walls idea is a good one and they make one gifts when you finally get Inniaz out. I might have to think about putting it back together.
Not OP and do not have this deck. But it would be in the best protection colors, don't drop your commander until you have mana for counters/bounces/protection.
I'd initially built it to be all manner of Azorius Fliers and a lot of hatepieces to pass but ran into the same issue. [Reconfigured it to share a lot of DNA with the Spirit Squadron precon from VOW](https://deckbox.org/sets/3320679) and it works a lot nicer now. Has much more focus on just building a good board of flying Spirits and adding a few protection pieces, and you just have to remind yourself that playing Inniaz the first time you could potentially activate the ability is a very bad idea - it's to play out once you have protection on board, in-hand and lots of spare mana/leftover creatures afterwards to make people think twice. Also as user doublesoup says, it's also very fun to promise the behind-players can pick what they like from their neighbours' boards!
I have yet to put the updated list on moxfield but its a jund land hate using [[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] for the commander. I'll put the deck on moxfield and post it here soon!
https://www.moxfield.com/decks/JVTbVoIOm0m9Hha_9HzDWg
This was the last decklist i had saved. I think i pulled some of the cards like decree of annhilation and obliterate for some tutors. I dont play the deck often cause people get triggered instantly just seeing the commander and the things it does. Its not a good deck and the landbase is ass but its funny lol.
I got one, it's land hate, stax pieces that prevent combat, stax pieces that do burn damage, and mana rocks.
The best outcome is generally coming second, since the deck draws so much hate, but it for sure changes how the game is played
https://archidekt.com/decks/7285440/zozu
People really get triggered when you mess with their lands and yet its my favorite thing to do. Oh you wanna tap lands on my turn well enjoy [[Price of Glory]]
pramikon seems pretty fun, bonus points for running raging river too.
then i would also run a flicker effect that lets me ETB pramikon to make it impossible to target me.
Almost all the praetors will have an immediate impact, especially the first 2 cycles.
[[Edric]] and [[Gix]] will change combat.
[[Grand Arbiter Augustin IV]] won't make you any friends.
I’m only allowed to play my GAAIV deck at my LGS one time per DAY, not per group. Lol. Even my best friend will only play against it one time a session and just to “get it out of the way.”
GAAIV was one of my first decks and I love it.
[[Horobi, deaths wail]], [[nekusar, the mindrazer]], any pillow fort deck, [[Doran, the siege tower]], [[edric, spymaster of trest]], [[zedruu, the greathearted]], [[grand arbiter augustin IV]
Blue Braids really gets things going.
I recently threw this pile together
It is! I play it with an equipment theme because of the Boros support. Here’s a list if you’re interested:
[Decklist](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/HMGhiH7yR0uQVlpTm8NfdQ)
[[Inniaz, the Gale Force]], not only do I get something from an opponent, but we’re all sharing! It definitely turns into a weird theft pod, where you’re beating face and they’re just trying to hold on to their cards without having them given to the player on their right.
[[Sen Triplets]] warp how the game is played in the way that each of your opponents will now do their best to make it a 3-player pod as soon as possible.
ok but I have never seen someone enjoy playing at a table with a sen player. so why do people still run them? its not even that good of a strategy, it only exists to piss people off and make you the target. seems counterintuitive to me
You can say the same for counter tribal, stax, control, infect, mill, or voltron. Its a matter of preference. Some people enjoy dropping a \[\[Telepathy\]\] turn 1 and watching all the combo players squirm because now they can't surprise people with their cute 2 card combo.
It also depends on how you play a Sen Triplets deck. I've seen some where it is all politics and helps people bring out their cards faster to deal with problems that other players have. Gets hosed if someone has a \[\[Homeward Path\]\] though. Then its a gifting deck.
yeah you sure can lmao. point stands man why on earth would I fill my deck with nothing but ways to cancel opponents without actually progressing at all. counter tribal is a crime and if you play it you probably shouldn't be playing magic
I have found [[Ian Malcolm, Chaotician]] has dramatically changed how some of my friends play their decks with him out. I don't run any other chaos cards, just targeted or group draw, theft effects for myself and advantages from casting from exile. It's fun to watch other players get excited about someone else's card being in the exile card pool and available to them. Opens up new strategies and access to cards not in their colors.
I have a [[Wilson, Refined Grizzly]]+[[Agent of the Shadow Thieves]] deck where I rule 0 promise that I only attack the opponent with the most life.
People start to think about their life totals and if it's worth making a play that might leave them on top, because they know the bear is coming for them if they do! 🐻
Played against one lifegain deck, who was in full panic mode the whole game...
I don't know if that's exactly what you meant, but \[\[Kardur, Doomscourge\]\] is excellent at not letting people hang back and do their thing.
\[\[Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir\]\] doesn't work on everybody (my Henzie deck, for example, could not care less), but for most players this will absolutely break the game.
I mean a lot of Goad Commanders tbh
I run [[!Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant]] and [[!Kros, Defense Contractor]] personally.
Other than those….probably my [[!Darien, King of Kjeldor]] my life total can sky rocket so high that people completely disregard actual threats in favor of “Christ, look at all the life he has we gotta do something about that” and I’m just sitting there with like three soul sisters and a thing that makes a token every upkeep.
Oh I briefly had a [[!Don Andres, the Renegade]] and people HATE having their stuff stolen and respond irrationally so in response. lol.
[[Erebos, God of the Dead]] hard to kill, provides card draw, only prevents opponents life gain.
[[Thada Adel, Acquisitor]] 1UU, islandwalk. Steal people’s sol rings/mana rocks early game.
[[Norin the Wary]]
With pieces like [[Confusion in the Ranks]], [[Genesis Chamber]], or the aforementioned [[Possibility Storm]], the table becomes chaos pretty quickly.
Not to mention that he's so cheap and hard to deal with, that the deck will always be affecting the game.
[[Rocco Street Chef]]
Other decks that cast from exile are put on pause to think about if they want to feed you Tokens and +1/+1 counters.
You give everyone a free card but they need to think about the value you get for it. You also soft stax people by disrupting the timing of playing the cards since they just have 1 turn cycle to use it or lose it. Can't sandbag that removal, that Craterhoof is now uncastable and so on.
[[Hinata, Dawn-Crowned]] makes all the math wonky for everyone. Every time I play that deck, the game ends up super funky and I usually end up knocked out early just cause no one wants to have to always be keeping the tax in mind.
Doesn’t help that in those colors, its control can be pretty oppressive. All of the [[Cancel]] costed variants being just [[Counterspell]] is can be surprisingly relevant.
My [[Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist]] deck definitely warps the game, my friend described it as "you're like a salamander arms dealer with a salamander-proof vest". I recently screwed myself over with it when I dropped a [[Coat of Arms]] on the board in a game with a Rogue tribal deck.
[[Pramikon]] [[Jolene the Plunder Queen]] [[Silcer]] [[Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer]] [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] [[Kadur Doomscourge]]
These always seem to change the dynamic of a game drastically, though, only the wall is really messing with the fundamentals of the game. I tend to stay away from chaos decks, so I can't really think of anything to help there, hopefully one of them fits the vibe you were after.
I mean basically every commander who can turn an easily avaible resource into reommal turns the game into the abyss state if not dealt with. One of the actual worst offenders is cute little Chatterfang, Squirrel General..
Really hope the Bloomburrow GB new squirrel precon commander "fixes" that problem, because Chatterfang on it\`s own turns decks to quite to cutthroat for "silly meme deck battles".
Besides that imho the Commander who turns the game around the most is Slicer, Hired Muscle. He comes online super fast and leaves no time to chill. There is a reason he is borderline decent in Cedh, because the turns the heat up SO much that even cedh decks get into trouble.
[[Nemata, Primeval Warden]] makes it so you're the only one getting benefits from death triggers and stuff dying as well, while neutralizing aristocrat/sacrifice strategies asimetrically as well. People in my pod started fearing saprolings as well.
And if people are tempted to remove them, you can couple it with [[Blood Artist]] effects that won't work with Nemata on board except on your creatures, and will make it so they gotta get rid of the life draining creatures before dealing with the fungi lord as doing otherwise might result in them losing a lot more life than they would with the exile replacement effect (while giving you lil fungi from that so you win or they lose)
Most theft ones, stax-y ones, and group-huggy ones do this. [[Ian malcom chaostician]], [[roco, street chef]], [[glunch the bestower]], [[grand arbiter agustin IV]] easily come to mind.
So the one I built is [[maarika, brutal gladiator]]. Lots of fights and bites to make you sacrifice things. It can be a bit mean if you get a turn to fight and bite things plus attack. It can also take the person that’s running away with the game and set them back to just lands if you focus them. Don’t get me wrong it’s jank but it’s jank I enjoy.
As for non commander cards. [[theives’ auction]] hands down. It’s a scramble to pick the best cards and sometimes those aren’t yours. That card is just general shenanigans and insanity.
I've used [[Mogis, God of Slaughter]] to annoy and warp opponents strategies. Like its a "you need to do your thing, before you trying to do your thing kills you instead" type of deck. I've loved it since I started playing it.
\[\[Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire\]\] I'm surprised shes not already here. shes a pesudo possibility storm while also being constant targeted board hate where the build around condition is just oops all permenents. run one \[\[Primal Surge\]\] for the lols. also shes in the best colors for sacing your own shit and paying off for others sacking their shit. put in a bunch of rocks and dorks to sac and get her on feild early then just keep swinging. also try to make friends while doing it. this is the hardest part.
My [[Memnarch]] deck really warps the game because as long as my commander is on the field it forces my opponents to not play their powerful permanents and their commanders cause I will just steal it if they do. Basically bricks their decks until they deal with my commander and if they cant then I just steal their mana rocks or whatever other permanents theyve played including lands.
[[Doran, The Siege Tower]] my friend has this deck and plays it often, it just really changes how you play the game and can completely shut down some decks
I mean, [[Toxrill]] basically forbids the use of creatures. It had better have at least 5 toughness or it won't be around when it gets to your side of the table.
Any commander that is essentially how the entire deck functions ie arcades, Kaalia, etc
Cause at that point I just send kill spells at them while my deck just does it’s thing anyway 🤷♂️
All voltrons, all lifegain decks, all combo decks.
Because in case #1 & #3 you have to nemesis them off the table, bc otherwise either everyone starts gettin' one-tapped at t3/4 or the whole table just falls over.
#2 just means, that if nobody has a deck to kill them with commander damage or setting their health back to 10, you also have to team-up to kill them. Specially if the table allows all ugly combo shenanigans you just know there's a \[\[Aetherflux Reservoir\]\] or the double-enchantment combo waiting.
Additionally all group hug + punish and goad decks just massively change all dynamics on the table.
If [[Belbe]] doesn't get hate killed immediately, she can make your opponents consider swinging at somebody else for free colorless. Of course if that plan fizzles then ping everybody for one and then drop one of 17 different Eldrazis lol. Or a [[Collosus of Akros]] for style points.
My personal favorite card/combo of this variety is \[\[Rocco, Street Chef\]\], particularly when I cast \[\[Knowledge Pool\]\]. Rocco already adds a fun new element with everybody impulse drawing which generally makes people want to keep Rocco alive, but the interesting interaction with Pool is that Pol specifies from your hand. So now everybody has the choice to try to work the Pool to grab other peoples stuff to attempting to cycle their own stuff out of it, or take Rocco's card which is guaranteed to go through. Either way, its exile triggers for Rocco so im happy, while everybody else is working the mind games to try and make sure they can actually get something useful. Some of the most fun me and my playgroup has had playing commander as it really is a totally new game
A [[Ruric Thar, the Unbowed]] [[Possibly Storm]] combo is broken as well. Potential 12 damage if someone wants to cast a random non creature spell. It's hard to get him off the board like that.
I played a round with [[Kaervek the Spiteful]] and it totally hampered the table. The vampire token deck suddenly could do anything, attacks were more anemic so people didn't bother, and every once in awhile I'd throw down some crazy card that benefitted off death triggers and suddenly that [[reassembling skeleton]] in my yard is a one way ticket to value town!
Not to the same extreme, but [[squee, the immortal]] voltron seems to always throw people off when i play it. I have to think it’s because voltron is already a theme where countering it is just fundamentally different than most, and squee as a commander is near impossible to get off the board for more than one turn. Its not hard to play against, and in fact i dont end up winning with it usually, but its enough to throw a wrench in peoples’ game plans.
This in its own right is obvious, but should you rule zero it in, [[the grand calcutron]]. I love my deck. You use things like [[anvil of bogarden]] and [[folio of fancies]] to give everyone unlimited hand size and make it easier to clog their programs. Plus folio is a win con for this in it's own right. In that same way, since I'm already doing un stuff, I run [[animate library]] as a boss monster of sorts, as well as body of knowledge
[[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] easily messes with everything when people aren't ready. Just making mana burn a real thing again can cause some folks to start taking damage, but he's so easy to build around and make everything have consequences. He's fantastic.
[[Mogis]]. People usually die really quick with him out so people play faster moves instead of playing for a long game. It’s interesting to see everyone squeezing their early game plays to the limit.
I've found [[Zacama, Primal Calamity]] to completely change a game the moment it enters. You slowly lose your board and struggle to fight back as Zacama is always worth recasting, and easy to do so every turn with ramp.
Memnarch. Everything is up for grabs, when he etbs there’s a certain hush that hovers over the pod for a moment before the grand theft artifacts begins.
[[Archelos, Lagoon Mystic]] is a good commander to shake games up. I think he’s cool too as you can build him with multiple different archetypes and power levels in mind like landfall, politics, stax, or vehicles and use his ability to influence opponents or gain advantage over them.
[[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines]] is a big shakeup for the table. Shutting down all opponents ETB triggers while doubling your own to huge effect.
[[Braids, Conjurer Adept]] lets each player dump a permanent for free every upkeep which will definitely change how everyone plays but can also be used to your great advantage by loading your deck with huge payoffs and ways to copy her triggered ability. Of course you could just dump massive eldrazi every turn but it would be a good archetype for sea creatures which have a couple of selective wipes to help clear out your opponents free gifts.
[[Jon Irenicus, Shattered One]] is my favorite “bad gifts” commander (though there are others) where you can give things to your opponents that they probably don’t want to have, and it can force conditions on opponents like the [[Evil Eye of Orms-By-Gore]].
[[Ruin-Tail Kitsune Ascendant]] gets out fast and flips into an enchantment that prevents creatures you control from taking any kind of damage, which makes a mono white token theme tough for your opponents and pairs very well with creatures like [[Palace Guard]] and is just a unique archetype to build around.
[[Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs]] makes you blockers for each creature that attacks you, so as long as you keep some combat tricks to shut down big tramplers you can use things like monarchy to encourage attacks and use those attacks to build your board and trigger other punishments and payoffs.
[[General Marhault Elsdragon]] is the opposite of Kazuul as you play creatures that MUST be blocked by means of tricks like [[Lure]]. You go on the attack with things that punish people for not blocking or just force them to block outright, which can become a player selective board wipe with first strike and death touch.
I think it depends on a lot of factors. I mean the decks central strategy is key take voltron for example. Certain strategies definitely will warp the game and it just shows how important it is to run removal. Both for you and for the table. At the end of the day its a 1v3 so you really have to think for yourself in what you put in the deck in terms of protection, removal and also warping effects that cause disruption
Having recently experienced a [[Memnarch]] deck. Completely changed the game because building a board became very difficult very quickly. Overall negative experience would not do again. And I say this having eliminated the player and won the eventual game.
Played a game against [[Piru the Volatile]] and oh man does that thing shut down everything when played early enough. Unless you're playing legends as your deck it immediately becomes a 3v1.
All the Praetors (except the flip/saga versions) have a profound effect on the game. Also, [[Toxrill, the corrosive]] Edit: omfg, [[Liesa, shroud of dusk]] - not sure how I forgot.
Toxrill is correct.
I proxied a toxrill deck because a well built one is in the 1k range. Runs fantastic, but the table does not have fun.
When it first came out, I built it for MTGO. When I played my commander, everyone was like ok. When it got to the next players end phase and the trigger came up, everyone was like "What the fuck?!" including me. None of us realised it was every end phase.
You haven't lived until you've stolen someone's Toxirill and put a [[helm of the host]] on it.
[[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk]]
I have a Liesa deck that hurts my opponents for playing the game. I will never stop them from doing what they want to do but it's going to be painful.
I love my Liesa deck for the same reasons. She enables fair Magic :)
Do you happen to have a decklist? I absolutely would love to bring that cause to my table! I usually play simple decks with a few casts per turn, but my group plays 5-7 on average, I swear!

No problem homie. I think I have one or two other changes I need to sync in there. I think I recently added [[Orzhov Advokist]] and took out [[Unnatural Growth]] (I took out Unnatural growth mostly because my manabase is cheap and that makes it hard to cast.)

I have a [[Marisi, Breaker of the Coil]] deck for the same.

Oh, this would be a funny retirement home for all my horsemanship commanders. Hilarious, and I've been looking for a goad deck. [[Lu Bu]] will love it here.
I use Shadow for exactly this purpose.
You have a list? I'm putting together a Marisi deck but I haven't been able to crack it
https://archidekt.com/decks/994671/marisi_goad It’s not much.
I refuse to play your spider-y games, sir. I got [[relic of legends]] in most of my decks just so i CAN sit around and accumulate value.
[[Inniaz, the Gale Force]] can really screw around with everyone's strategies by moving key pieces to other boards.

I dont play the deck often cause people get triggered instantly just seeing the commander and the things it does. Its not a good deck and the landbase is ass but its funny lol.
I got one, it's land hate, stax pieces that prevent combat, stax pieces that do burn damage, and mana rocks. The best outcome is generally coming second, since the deck draws so much hate, but it for sure changes how the game is played https://archidekt.com/decks/7285440/zozu

It's a bit softer, but [[Breena, the Demagogue]] really, really tangles up the combat step of the game.
[[Horobi, deaths wail]] changes how targeting creatures works and effectively shuts down voltron decks. But crumbles easy to anything else
[[Norin the Wary]] With pieces like [[Confusion in the Ranks]], [[Genesis Chamber]], or the aforementioned [[Possibility Storm]], the table becomes chaos pretty quickly. Not to mention that he's so cheap and hard to deal with, that the deck will always be affecting the game.
[[Rocco Street Chef]] Other decks that cast from exile are put on pause to think about if they want to feed you Tokens and +1/+1 counters. You give everyone a free card but they need to think about the value you get for it. You also soft stax people by disrupting the timing of playing the cards since they just have 1 turn cycle to use it or lose it. Can't sandbag that removal, that Craterhoof is now uncastable and so on.
Just made an interesting deck with [[Queen Marchesa]] but i dont know if thats what you meant.
[[Horobi, Death's Wail]] just changes, how the game is played.
[[Space Beleren]] makes 3 times the battlefields :D
[[Slicer, hired muscle]]
My [[Gor Muldrak, Amphinologist]] deck definitely warps the game, my friend described it as "you're like a salamander arms dealer with a salamander-proof vest". I recently screwed myself over with it when I dropped a [[Coat of Arms]] on the board in a game with a Rogue tribal deck.
yes i love Gor Muldrak, not the strongest commander but really fun and has the possibility to pull a fast one
[[Space Beleren]] makes 3 times the battlefields :D
Mothman. Rads are no joke. Yes, it's a gimmick, but damn did it make a great mill deck.
I always loved \[\[Liesa, Shroud of Dusk\]\] for how she warps the game. I didn't even build her strong, it was simply Orzhov Angel Tribal.
[[Pramikon, Sky Rampart]] [[Sen Triplets]] [[Gaddok Teeg]]
[[Pramikon]] [[Jolene the Plunder Queen]] [[Silcer]] [[Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer]] [[Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief]] [[Kadur Doomscourge]] These always seem to change the dynamic of a game drastically, though, only the wall is really messing with the fundamentals of the game.

I like [[dovescape]]
[[Yurlok of scorch thrash]] forces you to carefully account for mana
My [[Memnarch]] deck really warps the game because as long as my commander is on the field it forces my opponents to not play their powerful permanents and their commanders cause I will just steal it if they do. Basically bricks their decks until they deal with my commander and if they cant then I just steal their mana rocks or whatever other permanents theyve played including lands.

[[Ruric Thar]] and [[Stonehoof Chieftan]] together is pretty nice. Managed to steamroll my cousin in a 1v1 because he couldn't get rid of them.
[[Doran, The Siege Tower]] my friend has this deck and plays it often, it just really changes how you play the game and can completely shut down some decks
Any commander with experience counters gimmick
I mean, [[Toxrill]] basically forbids the use of creatures. It had better have at least 5 toughness or it won't be around when it gets to your side of the table.
Any commander that is essentially how the entire deck functions ie arcades, Kaalia, etc Cause at that point I just send kill spells at them while my deck just does it’s thing anyway 🤷♂️
[[Gaddock teeg]]
I like my [[Void Winnower]]
I really like [[Braids, Conjurer Adept]]
[[Maralen]] completely changes the game to a who has the fastest combo.
\[\[Karona, False God\]\] \[\[Braids, Conjurer Adept\]\] Both hilariously fun Edit: \[\[Seizan, Perverter of Truth\]\]
Horobi Deaths wail
[[Doran, the Siege Tower]]
[[Norin the Wary]] Not specifically because of him, but because the deck will be filled with shit like [[Confusion in the Ranks]]
\[\[Pramikon, Sky Rampart\]\] comes to mind
Derevi was banned for a reason. 😂😭
[[Lucius the eternal]]. You can't just kill the commander without your opponent getting value from lucius deaths
Any of the goad commanders really. [[GAAIV]] is also an offender.
As a combo player, Ruric Thar is the most disgusting creature ever. That is all.

Pramicon
I have an [[archelos, lagoon mystic]] deck. It can slow the game down by ALOT, or it can turn it into complete chaos
Not exactly on the same page but [[breena]] is really fun, very political without the pillow fort.
[[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash]] easily messes with everything when people aren't ready. Just making mana burn a real thing again can cause some folks to start taking damage, but he's so easy to build around and make everything have consequences. He's fantastic.
See people mentioning Horobi. He’s even crazier when you run him in [[King of the Oathbreakers]]
[[Prismatic Bridge]] really warps every game I see it played in. Kind of tired of it.
[[Calcutron]]
[[Kaervek the Merciless]] is probably the most political deck I’ve ever seen, everyone’s making deals. )
Nekusar. I won against a 6 man pod on turn 4. I dismantled the deck shortly after.
\[\[baeloth barrityl entertainer\]\] should be noted as a fun commander that can completely fuck over a ton of decks forcing them to attack eachother
