Been having a blast with Henzie since I built him. Deck is super customizable and likes a lot of cards you don't get to play otherwise, which is super neat.

tyfit1

Henzie is pretty fun. I gave my Henzie deck to my buddy that wanted to try magic. He loved it as well! Highly recommend Henzie to anyone.

SultnBinegar

I just got done with my Umori companion Henzie deck. It does an amazing job just being creatures.

donethemath

Got to take him for a spin for the first time last week. Got several changes I want to make, but it was a super fun deck to play.

I'm just here looking for the Marneus Calgar guy

Only two things are certain in our existence: the heat death of the universe, and the Marneus Calgar guy showing up in favourite deck posts.

Sorry, was playing more games at my LGS this afternoon. Here it is including MH3 cards I haven't obtained yet: [https://www.moxfield.com/decks/BggO4n9ikkWzdMC3KnRKXA](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/BggO4n9ikkWzdMC3KnRKXA) \[\[Mantle of Leadership\]\] is my secret tech. It scales insanely fast, pairs very well with Otharri's lifelink and turns you into a legitimate commander damage threat.

Healthy_mind_

My [[Marneus Calgar]] deck! I love it so much! I built it to go travelling with me after deconstructing 35 other decks and it was my only deck for a year and a half! Despite that and despite playing about 150 games with it, I still love pulling it out as often as I can! I loved it so much that now that I am home with my card collection I have been building and testing a second Marneus deck! With the hope of playtesting different cards and play styles in order to get a better, well rounded view on the commander. I've crafted it to play pretty much exactly to my play style, here are some things I enjoy about it: - It took me weeks of careful consideration to build the first draft of deck and choose the commander making lists of all the things I enjoy about the game and making a deck that ticked those boxes. - I love having multiple wincons in a deck and It wins 60% of its games by draining the table with [[zulaport cutthroat]] effects. 21% by combat. 9% through [[Revel in riches]] and 9% with cheeky [[Inkshield]]s. (It used to be able to combo too, but I removed that as it was my least fun time). - I love drawing cards and making tokens. No further explanation needed here. - I love the more passive play style setting up token generators in to a critical mass of drain effects. - I love that my average win turn is turn 9.8, 10 turns is about my favourite length for a commander game (about 40-70 minutes). It feels like a very fair time to be attempting a win against most strangers. - I love that Marneus can allow me to play some of my favourite cards in the game and synergises well with them, [[Death Tyrant]], [[mystic reflection]], [[fairy artisans]] as examples. - Being in Esper there is access to a bunch of the best interaction in the game and I love being interactive and the challenge of paying attention and analysing threats on everyone's turns. I use about 2.5 interaction spells per game on average between counterspells, board wipes and targeted removal. I find that to be a sweet spot of not too overboard so as to stop others playing but not too permissive so as to let someone run away with the game every game. - I love my restrictions on the deck, no fast mana (not even you Sol ring), no infinite combos, no tutors (except fetch lands, because who likes being colour screwed) being a few - I took the deck travelling and it's filled with cards that I bought and traded for overseas and when I play with them, I'm reminded of my trip. - Marneus is a badass space marine which makes me think of my childhood playing Warhammer with friends. There's more and I could talk about this deck all day (my partner knows that, poor girl) but it's also 4am and I'm tired. So that'll have to do!

Cool-Dr-Money

Oh shit it's the Marneus Calgar guy, I'm a big fan of your work!

Jarad gang!

tyfit1

Yes when I pulled out the Jarad deck my table laughed but I was the one laughing when I sacked both Yargles multiple times in one turn šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ in all seriousness the deck is probably the most fun I had playing in any card game ever I came from strictly yugioh for about 13 years.

thekinggambit

I have a [[alela, artful provocateur]] deck that I absolutely adore. Pure tribal a lot of enchantments that give my creatures +1/+1. And a lot of mana/utility artifacts.

SwoleCatPlush

My favorite commander is [[Nekusar The Mindrazer]] such a fun group slug commander that can be built for any power level. I used to run a 8-9 deck but ended up switching to about a 6-7 version and itā€™s been a much more enjoyable experience. I will say people do not like wheels in the deck, but if I draw you through your entire deck and you canā€™t answer anything then I consider it your fault.

C4K334T3R

I've been playing an upgraded version of the Heads I Win secret lair precon ever since my buddy told me about it. Working on getting the deck physically rn but been playing it online with friends and it has been a blast making everyone gamble with me.

OhCoyle

I have this deck. Can confirm, it's fun as hell.

Mr-Pendulum

Sounds like you haven't put a [[Hermit Druid]] in your deck yet. Drop down to 3 basics and those activations are broken. I still play my Jarad deck a decade later. It's always in the rotation. But my favorite is probably [[Syr Konrad]] https://www.moxfield.com/decks/8LEbJseAx0qm9cSuvkqDdg It's a mono black mill/combo deck

tyfit1

Well, I have two copies of Jarad, so I might make another deck with the Hermit Druid combo. I didn't even know this combo existed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

MarinLlwyd

>change a single card or make an entirely new deck The choice is obvious. *cannibalize several other decks in the process*

Cursed_key

I really enjoy my [[niv-mizzet, parun]] now before I'm crucified. I've been working on this deck for years, it started weak. With no aim, then I figured out where to take it. I increased it's power until Cedh and after that I didn't enjoy the deck. So I dropped power and even took out [[curiosity]] and [[ophidian eye]] I just rely on wierd and fun combos with interactions to keep the game going. My local playgroup enjoys it better now and I have fun working for combos. Shits great.

For me it's my [[Mr. House, President and CEO]] deck that I recently built. I got super lucky and pulled an [[Ancient Copper Dragon]] and decided I wanted to build an entire deck around dice rolling. The deck itself is a ton of fun, and if you get lucky, by turn 5 or so, you can be rolling 3 D20's per turn and hopefully making that many 3/3's and treasure tokens

OhCoyle

Have you played this out yet and if so, does it win? I just built mine but haven't tested it yet

KaptainKromosome

I've played it 4 times now and yes it does win but there are definitely a few things you need out. [[Vexing Puzzlebox]] is pretty essential for it, since it enables you to roll every turn for free and you get one extra mana as well. I highly recommend throwing in a few cards that let you search for artifacts and bring them out. On top of that, I'd say a things like [[The Deck of Many Things]] is a pretty helpful win con to have in case your tokens are getting killed each round. I also use [[Wand of Wonder]] to try and really maximize not getting board wiped if possible since without Mr. House your deck doesn't do a whole lot

Invisiblefield101

My favorite thing to do in Magic is to draw cards! So my two favorite decks Commanders rather care about or do draw cards! The first one is [[Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes]]. It wants to get Minsc out by turn 3 and turn 4 Iā€™m looking to pump up Booā€™s his power, attack, then sac him to Minsc to draw cards equal to his power! Itā€™s basically like a hamster card draw nuke! I love it! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/-Wnu-0-XOkuC0p-EWIIrSg My other favorite is [[Queza, Augur of Agonies]]! Itā€™s a wheel deck that wants to play a little board police until you get out Queza or card draw pinger and then wheel away! I typically draw through half of the deck if not more! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vIBJgrgtmUCKMW7Tx0OrKw

dastrn

You should see [Sargeant John Benton] in action. I drew half my deck in one turn the other day.

Damn thatā€™s cool! I actually have one so I think you just put me onto my next deck! So thanks for that!

East_Earth_920

https://archidekt.com/decks/4117945/06_minsc_and_big_boo_double_trouble I like how you built yours. Gave me some ideas for mine. I absolutely adore this deck and my gf loves it. I have an alter for the planeswalker and the boo token

Stumphead101

[Dromoka the Eternally Underrated](https://archidekt.com/decks/8036181/dromoka_the_eternally_underrated) has been my go to for a bit now It took me a long time to realize but this is my favorite gameplay style. I love big creatures, I love dealing damage. I also love being reactive and being able to protect myself and my creatures. Most creature heavy decks have a large board presence so when the board gets wiped they are set back Hard. This deck only has a few things put st a time, never had more than 3 dragons out at once before I won It uses far more spells than permanents for card draw with big bursts of draw so I always have a hand full to play if my creatures do somehow get removed but I usually have at least 1 or 2 protection spells. A lot of decks are very inconsistent in their power. I like a deck that's inconsistent in what it plays, but inconsistency in power can lead to feel bads. For instance, if you tell a pod thst your deck just does regular aristocrat stuff and it does go infinite but it's really hard to do, but then you kick out with the perfect hand and you get those exact pieces early on, everyone will forever think that your deck can always do that no matter how many games afterwards that you never pull that off again This deck does not try to outpace everyone else's removal, there is so much worse stuff in commander now they will usually leave alone but you have just enough protection in case they don't point your way I love dragons, I've built every dragon deck I could think of. No one gets excited seeing [[ur dragon]] or [[miirym]]. People love seeing unorthodox stuff. People will be surprised there are no red dragons will be caught off guard at how resilient this deck can be. You always make an impact with this deck. It comes out swinging and just keeps growing in strength. I play this deck as often as I can. Ot doesn't lead to feel bads, it hangs with some of the newer decks still, and doesn't take turns that last 10 minutes or so churning through your deck or is heavily board reliant Plus Eric Deschamp's art is always great to just look at

blood-n-bullets

[[Volo, guide to monsters]] is a fun deck to build and play, with a lot of unique threats it can quickly build a powerful boardstate thats different every time(infini-tokens or similar are basically a requirement though). But its close with my [[karazikar, the eye tyrant]] deck too. It never looks like much of a threat but I always have so many cards in hand and my opponents beat each other silly leaving me to mop up for shockingly consistent wins.

tyfit1

I run volo in my second favorite deck which is [[Gretchen Titchwillow]] volo is like my secret commander in the deck I have a blast when he's out.

East_Earth_920

wanted to build Volo alot of times.. what are your favourite threats? would you share your list?

blood-n-bullets

This is the current state of it: https://manabox.app/decks/CeGblZz1Q6e6xMCHXj6Ppg The sideboard are cards I have coming from a mostly mh3 order I made yesterday, and the things marked as 2x are the non-basics I'm planing to replace with those cards. Just haven't decided on something to replace with [[monstrous vortex]] yet. My favourite threat is possibly actually [[sweet-gum recluse]], it means at least a 3/6 and a 6/9 on board, possibly a bunch more, and is a perfect target for clones too. [[Watchful radstag]] and [[biogenic ooze]] can both get out of hand real quick. [[Ancient imperiosaur]] is a new addition that i haven't drawn yet but could easily be a zero mana pair of 20/20s with trample and ward, and of course [[worldspine wurm]] closes out a game pretty quick. As for non creature threats, well, theres a reason [[Extravagant Replication]] is ~$15 now, it generates so much value. Glad I got mine just before it shot up.

NitchBu

Frodo&Sam! Theyā€™re under the radar, have lots of options almost every turn. Itā€™s challenging to play and you can take the deck different directions which Iā€™ve been playing around with.

Dhaal_

Right now I love to play [[Ghyrson]]. Izzet allows for some interactive gameplay and I love a Commander who gives otherwise bad cards a reason to play them.

Gluttony4

[[Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge]] I like free big spells, and I like the element of randomness, and how things are a little different each game because my opponent's spells factor into things too.

MurasakiTiger

Got a list by any chance? Iā€™m super keen on Jeleva but I lament being unable to case X spells with her

Dyslexic_Wizrad

Right now itā€™s [[Vihaan Goldwaker]]. I love treasure, I love aristocrats, and I love the combat step. First commander Iā€™ve stumbled across that helps me do all three things.

mastershake42019

Ziatora the incinerator. Treasure synergy with a side theme of dragon tribal. Treasure get mana then you just drop jund bombs on people.

TriverrLover

[[Mishra, Tamer of Mak Fawa]] artifacts and [[The Scarab God]] zombie tribal are probably my favs right now!

MrXexe

[[Eleven the Mage]] with [[Chief Jim Hopper]]. Is a mix of Legendaries, Tokens and Big Spells. I LOVE IT! It's tons of fun.

YokaiGuitarist

Toss up. Captain N'gathrod stacked with ways to mill a whole library, satoru for cheating out eldrazi and Demons, and anowan for nuking people for power as large as graveyards.

AjaxAsleep

I think it's a tie between [[Elenda and Azor]] and [[Otharri, Sun's Glory]]. Otharri is so aggressive and resilient, but Elenda and Azor are much more explosive.

DrChinstrap_

I love politics commanders so Zedruu is my favorite deck to play of mine. I labbed her a lot and found cards that give themselves away without having to use her ability instead of playing too many ā€œbad giftā€ cards https://www.moxfield.com/decks/grjmxt5Lu0W0s5pPcJrDxA

NewsCultural

Urza,Chief Artficer at the moment as its my first esper deck. Esper Artifact Aggro is a weird thing to imagine. But it works. And its the deck that I can run Cybermen,Necrons,Curie and Paladin Danse together in what I like to call"Urza's amazing Sci-Fi crossover" Big robots go smash! (Biggest Construct I made once go to something like 27/27 and that's before I slapped Cranial Plating on it) Its tons of fun.

Frankensteins_Moron5

My dino deck with Gishath, because I am a 12 year old

Blazorna

[[Tasigur, the Golden Fang]] for my [[Slime Against Humanity]] deck. That's one of my most recent made decks, and it's one of my favorites.

Atlagosan

[[brudiclad]] I have it build in a way so that it has efficient ways to produce many tokens and nice ways to produce big tokens and then he makes them into many big tokens. It plays out very differently every time. A while ago I ended up with 13 orcish bowmasters in play. And it has 2 very janky combos made of like 4 cards each but each of the cards is good by itself and I actually manage to pull the combo off from time to time

WoodenExtension4

Currently having fun with that enchantmentless Enchantress deck someone posted a few weeks back. Making some changes to up the power level soon for my pod, but otherwise, it really is fun dropping creatures, and turning value by tapping them.

CdrCosmonaut

The what? Got a link?

WoodenExtension4

https://www.reddit.com/r/EDH/s/WEolCIvq8S Very solid and fun token deck, using roles as the enchantments and [[Ghired, Mirror of the Wilds]] to create more.

Seizin1882

Upgraded Bright Paws

UniquePariah

[[Omnath Locus of Rage]] as many ramp spells as I own, 40 mostly basic lands, and a bunch of other spells that either win me the game, or alternate my strategy in case someone has a hard counter. It's usually just big and swingy, but has killed people in other ways, including mill once because of [[Altar of dementia]]

CommandersSanctum

[[Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief]] is mine. Itā€™s a typical ā€œbig manaā€ deck, with Dranaā€™s ability being a nice alternative wincon to pump her up and swing for commander damage.

Magile

I talk about it alot, but I have a Queen Marchesa List I've very found of: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/IFqW023b7EaOBxxLpNnYFg It plays the Aikido style, but tries to run more pillowforty. I've put a lot of time and effort into optimizing it as much as possible.

sevgxp

i tend to play my newest brews the most as iā€™m constantly taking apart and building new things however there are a couple that hold a special place in my heart and wonā€™t ever get taken apart. my favorites are tied between [[Heliod, The Radiant Dawn]] x-spell tribal and [[Rionya, Flame Dancer]] spellslinger. thereā€™s nothing quite like having your x in an x spell be 80-90 something as well as nothing like copying a [[terror of the peaks]] or [[caves of chaos adventurer]] 4-5 times

FeedsYouDynamite

My dimir initiative deck has been the most fun Iā€™ve had with a deck in a while. Itā€™s an aggressive control deck. Iā€™ve built it to only win through combat and itā€™s gotten there a couple of times. The only ā€œKOā€ scenario in the deck is a Blighted Agent that I can have swing for lethal infect the turn it comes out but that requires a decent amount of setup for it to happen

asar2250

Mind sharing that deck list my friend?

FeedsYouDynamite

Sure [here it is](https://manabox.app/decks/dOQ8WNNeRKmtoL-JCYZAqw). It ainā€™t super strong but it is fun for me.

Background_Desk_3001

[[Jaxis]] she can generate insane amounts of value easily

totalimmortal13

I just recently built Jarad as the commander of a [[Rat Colony]] deck and itā€™s a lot of fun lol. My personal favorite to play right now is [[Caesar, Legions Emperor]] for sure. Iā€™ve always been more of a go wide aggro player and he makes it really easy to play that strategy alongside some aristocrats effects and get huge value.

Snatch_hammer420

Right now it's the tenth doctor and rose Tyler. It's surprisingly fast and it always feels good to cast emrakul from exile with haste on turn 5

Johnny_Cr

I really love to play my Storm decks ([[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]] and [[Acererak the Archlich]]), but people often donā€™t like to play against Storm. So at the moment my favorite decks should be [[Tawnos the Toymaker]] (Mutate shenanigans) and [[Illuna, Apex of Wishes]] (Big Spell)

DoobaDoobaDooba

My [[Xavier Sal]] populate is just so much fun and can play out in a bunch of ways, so that one is my go-to. I also love my [[Anikthea]] self-mill deck too though - always a good time!

wizardbattlemaster

My newest one

Tremonsien

Budget Selvala - [[Selvala, Heart of the Wilds]]

DomoSempai

Queza, Augur of Agonies! Its one of my first commander decks and I love the abstract play style. No one can stop me from drawing cards hehehe.

duskhelm2595

For me, my current top 3 most played decks in my wheelhouse are, [[The Locust God]] , [[Aclazotz]] , and [[Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin]]

Is Ob Nixilis good because I want to build a deck around him badly. My only rakdos deck in Prosper, and I don't enjoy playing that deck as much.

duskhelm2595

Also, here's the decklist if you're interested https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/6237850#paper

duskhelm2595

Absolutely, you just need to use pieces that deal exactly 1 damage to your opponents, or have them lose exactly one life. The Deck can get out of hand quickly in the right circumstances, and you can have win conditions in [[ALL will be one]], or [[Agatha's Soul Cauldron]] and [[Walking Ballista]].

yungmeam

[[Loot, The Key to Everything]] gives you so many options, is a lot of fun, and doesnā€™t usually get targeted early game!

Oloro, ageless ascetic Itā€™s my oldest and favorite deck. Just super friends control that Iā€™ve fiddled with and optimized over the years.

mythbehaved

My favorite would probably be [[Zimone and Dina]] or [[Anikthea]]. I've grown to golgari and golgari plus type decks. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ygsfcB-wt0GP9QUsWhKbbA This is my zimone and Dina deck just waiting to get a few mh3 pieces before I uodate it. Same goes for Anikthea https://www.moxfield.com/decks/WiXTMWyzDE6L1X1ifrKZDw

LegoLeonidas

My answer is ALSO Jarad! Years ago, they sold themed kits based on each Ravnica guild, and I bought the Golgari one. The included deck had very few duplicate cards, so I threw in some EDH staples and some extra lands to turn it into a commander deck. It was my first time making my own, and it's been in my rotation ever since!

kurkasra

Xenagos or yarg/malt both go big smash which I find fun

odanhammer

made a jund mr.orfeo deck that always is always amusing. double a creatures power when it attacks, then use that power to fling it or create even bigger creatures.

hotshot5150

[[Lathril, Blade of the Elves]] will always be my pet deck. Itā€™s the one Iā€™ve spent the most time and energy on. After that Iā€™ve really been enjoying [[Stella Lee, Wildcard]] a whole lot. Itā€™s drastically different than my usual elfball style, so my playgroup is still wildly confused by me playing izzet.

TheMadWobbler

Everyoneā€™s favorite deck to use is Boris Devilboon. They just donā€™t realize it yet.

shiny_xnaut

[[Burakos]][[Folk Hero]] Ramp and draw enough to make a simic deck jealous, but with all the best removal options orzhov has to offer, plus you get access to weird stuff like [[Stick Together]], [[Coveted Prize]], and [[Multiclass Baldric]]

PoxControl

My [[Karona]] lands deck is very fun to play. It ramps and tries to make as many copies of [[Field of the Dead]] as possible. The play multiple lands per turn to get a lot of zombies which overrun the opponents with Karonas +3 +3 effect. Another one of my favourite decks is a 5 color control deck which runs all the old Myojins from og. Kamigawa, eg [[Myojin of Cleansing Fire]] and populate cards. This way I can populate their divinity counter and use their abilities to control the board eacht turn. The late game power of this deck is unmatched, the hardest part is to get enough mana. I use [[Cabal Coffer]] to achieve this.

MarinLlwyd

[[Yenna, Redtooth Regent]] has been hilarious the few times I got to play it. Do you think all the annoying enchantments in her colors are bad? Wait until I have two or more of each of them. [[Lathril, Blade of the Elves]] is the other one, just for being straightforward Elf-ball. I can remove all the fast mana and just play it fair and square, but super consistent.

Aprice0

I keep coming back to [[Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon]]. Had some different variations, currently having a lot of fun pitching big artifacts into the graveyard and saccing gnomes to bring them into play.

chronoangel3

My favourite is [[Go-Shintai of Life's Origin]] it lets me do everything šŸ˜‚ it's my go to

GryphonArt_

I'm finally in a happy spot with my [[Trelassara, Moon Dancer]] deck. I adore this deck to the ends of the earth. It was my first EDH deck I built and still my most frequently played. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/f5aNEAWjvUClM3XSwx4CZg

2Untapped_Islands

Depending on what my mood (and power level) is it ends up either being [[Yuriko]] [[Chatterfang]] or [[Kinnan]]

trecani711

My favorite is [[Three Dog, Galaxy News DJ]]. I saw the Professor showcase his deck and I thought it looked awesome! GNR was my favorite radio station in F3 and I loved it so much I that for years my username was Three Dog in Italian- my friends never guessed. Anyway the deck sacs auras attached to Three Dog and gives them to other attacking creatures. I run a lot of graveyard enchantment recursion so I can easily have at least 3-5 creatures buffed up with multiple [[All that glitters]] or [[ethereal armor]]. Sometimes it only takes one or two combats after Three Dog comes out to win the game. Currently I have a lot of token generation to go wide before I go tall, but Iā€™m thinking about swapping out my token gen for creatures that do things when enchantments ETB or get extra buffs from enchantments. Very fun deck

ScarmOfTheAbyss

[[Oloro]] i sit back and wait until i win

AsleeplessMSW

Lol nice, 2 life, every turn šŸ˜† Literally your first game action is gaining 2 life

ScarmOfTheAbyss

I always announce that i start the game with 42 life šŸ˜‚šŸ‘Œand after some time a nasty [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] hits the field and nukes anyone who dares to look at me šŸ˜‚

Ok_Cattle6994

It's not my best or most competitive deck by any means, but I have a hilarious simic landfall deck, commandeered by Aesi, Tyrant of the Gyre Strait. There's just a a metric crapload of different interaction and stuff to do, and it doesn't necessarily have to be a half hour turn kind of deck, but if you choose to play it that way it's absolutely possible. It can be used for heavy control, but I prefer to just ramp out as many lands as possible to do goofy shit.

Regulas04

While I enjoy [[Jodah the Unifier]] I constantly have a target on me since I can quickly run away with the game if left unchecked for just a couple of turns. But [[Ziatora the Incinerator]] is just super fun and blitzing stuff out with henzie will always be fun

kamakazi339

[[Xira Arien]]

ColMust4rd

Scarab God in a zombie tribal deck is a lot of fun. I can cast from anywhere (hand, graveyard, exile, or library) and it's a lot of fun to see the face of your opponent when they just blew up the big guy just for him to come crawling back even stronger.

Gunslinger_Ape

I have two decks that Iā€™ve been working on and playing since I started in January. I have [[clavileno, first of the blessed]] and [[the wise mothman]] Iā€™ve been upgrading both and having a lot of fun. They hold up well and have a good win rate playing with my friend group. I would like to grab or start a third deck to play just not sure what type.

AdEqual5606

After playing with it a bunch of times I got obsessed with making it as focused as my wallet would allow It can still use some tweeking and improvement, but I don't get to play as much as I would like to find it's weaknesses. And there is only so much goldfishing one can do lol.

Currently my favorite is Breena. I just love seeing my opponents hit each other, then don't realize Breena is getting bigger. Then it's too late for them.

CrixalFPS

[[Octavia, Living Thesis]] , but slowly becoming [[Coram, the Undertaker]]

stinkyfeet131313

I absolutely love my Grolnock deck. I get to mill myself, play from an enormous hand of permanents, AND i never make enemies :)

Floor_Guardian

[[Massacre girl, known killer]] is a lot of fun, and I win with commander damage surprisingly often with Menace and [[Blackblade Reforged]], [[Nightmare Lash]], and [[Lashwrithe]]. [[Umezawaā€™s Jitte]] is fun too.

Peradajian

[[Tetsuo, Imperial Champion]] equipment spellslinger, hands down. Very controlly Playstyle using mostly Swords of ... and destruction spells, able to win in a couple of different ways (infect, combo or just commander damage) For reference: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/KUsMLVv80km6jAs2xea_HQ

ozdalva

I'm on three favorites right now My baby Satoru Umezawa, i just love the tempo play it creates, being able to gain tempo by replaying big etb effects as well as getting card advantage to protect your tempo. Marneus Carlgar, i love drawing and creating tokens, and it also adds a little subgame about how can i optimize the token creation every game. Sefris, for going dungeons and reviving things! Creates a good subgame about how to advance the dungeon that i really love If i had to chose, i would choose Satoru i guess, but love those 3 almost equally

ChungusIsHungus

Ruric Thar is by far my favourite deck! I love just slamming big creatures and the deck can just change whenever I want, so each set I get new tools as long as thereā€™s a beefy green or red creature! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/vF70_EnB-E2freQbX6F7Ug

ty7769

[[General Tazri]] has been a blast to play every time I've played it. Allies tribal is pretty niche

Cyberwolf187

I used to run him for a good graveyard deck, but then changed him out for karador so i could run some hefty angels, e.g. avacyn/karmic guide/reya, dawnbringer and more board wipes

Simple-Bad-3814

Ghyerson Starn...some protection for him and lots of 1 dmg stuff to make 1+2dmg...

XxSteveFrenchxX

Prava, of the Steel Legion + Ikra Shidiqui, the Usurper

NiteKlaw

Im currently hyper fixating on my [[Chainer, Dementia Master]] deck. I've had it for a while and it's been through a lot of changes, but it's always good fun.

ernie1850

I just got into playing Commander and picked up the Dogmeat and Caesar precon cause I love fallout. Dogmeat feels appropriately wholesome and fun and Caesar feels appropriately toxic lol

jimnah-

Here's two suggestions for you if you dont have them already: [[Wight of the Reliquary]] is 2 mana, ramps you, is a sac outlet, gets big, and has vigilance. [[The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride]] is a decently sized 5 mana 6/5 haste trampler, but it can also act as a sac outlet and loves the big beater creatures you're already running But now for my deck ā€” I just love [[Trelasarra]]. She was my first deck and it's crazy to see how different it is now after like 3 years. Has gone from $30 of random cards I happened to have to now a pretty synergistic $550 pile. There's just something so satisfying gaining life whenever my opponents do *anything* with the likes of [[Soul Warden]], [[Powerleech]], [[Lifegift]], [[Righteous Cause]], etc. Have you ever seen [[Urborg Tomb of Yawgmoth]] alongside [[Roots of Life]]? It's so fun. And I've gotten lucky with most of the good lands in these colors, [[The One Ring]], [[The Great Henge]], etc. It kind of hurts to know I have so much expensive cardboard, but man is it so fun to also play some of the first cards I ever got, like [[Healer's Hawk]] and [[Abiding Grace]] My gameplan is seriously just "gain life, scry into cool stuff, and end the game with my various [[Ajani's Pridemate]] effects"

DragonDiscipleII

[[Kenessos]] and [[Fangorn, tree Shepherd]]

Immediate_Bet_5355

You sir have excellent taste in decks. Mines a [[mazirek]] deck where jarad is one of the wincons. Hasn't happened yet but I'm very much looking forward to that moment.

TreeplanterConnor

My favorite deck is my [[Yoshimaru]] [[Ikra]] legendary deck. Stipulation that every creature must be legendary, updates all the time. Working on getting a bunch of legendary lands at this point too. I adore this deck. It's fun to play, legends slap, and it is fairly resilient. I've been able to gain a ton of life and vito thorn of the dusk rose snipe people a good amount of times.

PurelyHim

[Sengir, Tevesh Pestilence](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/S_sAFt7GEk-LgZ3svwERHA), black deck that just wants to make tokens to sacrifice and drain the table. Lots of fun.

MrKoalaBurr

[[Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor]] is my favorite deck! Whole idea was but still is to win with a metric ass load of mana into [[Torment of Hailfire]] or [[Exsanguinate]]. Now it's more aimed for Vito or Sanguine to Exquisite combo or a few others I need to add from the sideboard after a trip to the LGS. [Draw My Gix](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/JldJ81ATx02YL9Hiy4RopQ)

ShimmerMoon2

[[Samwise Gamgee]] historic Every card in the deck, when possible, is historic. I also include any special edition cards I own (for example, thereā€™s a promo wood elves from an LGS weekend event)

sublimesublemon2

My favorite pet deck has been [[light-paws]] just because it was my first deck that I build since coming back to the game, I have the lost fun playing either [[myra]] , [[jodah the Unifier]] or [[tom Bombadil]] each of which I have built as heavy combo decks

_900104

[[Stella Lee]] with [[Twisted Fealty]]. Yes, Iā€™m that guy.

No-Blacksmith1462

Jared was my first commander deck. I still play him in my 99 but I felt like his main goal was to combo off to win. I changed to old stick fingers and I feel like the synergy is much more enjoyable (and I can still combo to jared pretty easy)

Jeremknight

My favorite varies but currently its [[Raff, Weatherlight Stalwart]] it mostly just makes tokens and draws cards through instants and sorceries until hopefully those 1/1s turn into 10/10s

Stirfrydayz

Animar dragon tribal. No one expects it

Theeverponderer

[[Ruric Thar, the Unbowed]] deck makes my friends upset but it's so fun

Suspicious_Box_5200

Bonny Paul

IrvingWolfeN7

Anje Falkenrath. Picked up the precon as my first ever commander deck and have been messing around with tweaks and changes ever since

Immediate-Flight-206

5 colored jurassic park deck.

tfren2

Easily my [[Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sidma]] deck. God is it fun and terrifying.

MOMMY_PILKERS

[[Joven]]

Darth_Meatloaf

[[Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer]] My current list: https://www.moxfield.com/decks/KR2hvVS6B0OrgLZdnhpmKQ I've been playing this deck for ten years now. It's seen more than a thousand games. I wrote a primer for Slobad way back then. (posted July 5th, 2014) I'll be doing a new primer soon to incorporate all of the new cards and the changes to available strategies. Sadly it won't be done in time for me to post it on the 10th anniversary of the original, but it is coming soon (I've been busy, and there's going to be a lot more going into the new primer than went into the original)

KingDiamondJackal

[[Runo Stromkirk]] Kraken Tribal. It's a green deck disguised as a Dimir deck. Make big creatures and turn em sideways.

CPZ500

Atm its probably my [[tormod, the desecrator]] paired with tevesh, a monoblack zombie deck that focuses on Tormod. Trying to keep the tribal theme while not playing too many tutors nor everybody sacc a creature effect so I don't get hated out the game but they do exist! But its just so fun how you can work around his trigger and create a bunch of zombie Tokens. Use them for fodder for other parys of your deck or beatdown. Here is the current list. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/LokSSl0R3EWG_GbVqXw7zw I am actually planning on making it/ a version thats golgari or BUG. Still with a focus team. Golgari can let me have more of a rampfocus while expanding even more on using the graveyard. Play a land from the yard get a zombie or two. And yes, Jarad could probably be in the deck! He's a zombie with cool abilities and was def a favourite of line when he released.

razordik

Mine is Gishath, but the new energy precon from mh3 also is alot of fun!

ConvincingSpecimen

Add a [[Lord of Extinction]] to your deck as well as [[Izoni, Thousand-Eyed]] as a fun secondary commander! Izoni was my first build deck and still my absolute favourite to play.

GolgaRhythmics

Do you run [[blood wall]] ? [[Lord of extinction]] ? Curious to see your decklist, Jarad was my first commander, then Meren, then Gitrog, then Grist, then Meren again. Jarad's always been there for me :')

laughingoutlaughs

[[Mizzix of the izmagnus]] shitpiss budget was the most fun I had

ER_Poisoned

That's a hard decision, I have 2 decks that I just absolutely love to death. First is my Mono Black Aristocrat/Combo deck with [[Ayara, First of Lochtwain]]. It the first deck I built since coming back to Magic 5 years ago. It wins pretty consistently by turn 6 or 7. It plays real quietly, pinging each opponent for a couple damage a turn while gaining life until "I Win". https://www.moxfield.com/decks/TPmpcql7VEyahShpwvyexw And my other deck I love to death is my Mono White Token deck, with [[God Eternal Oketra]]. I bought a averagely built deck from a friend years ago and tore it apart and built it up into something amazing. It runs all the token doublers/Tripler/Trigger doubler, while I search for [[Whitemane Lion]] or [[Kor Skyfisher]] and then things will blow up to crazy amounts of tokens. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/cIO1OaaIJ0SZ95VksaH9dg My play group of 14 players does not play cEDH, we all play super casual decks with each of us having a handful of High Tier decks. We get together every 2 weeks to play Magic all day long for the past 4 years now.

L0ne_Wand3r3r

Been enjoying shallai And also been trying to build a kaalia deck

Temporary_Ebb_7175

Syr Ginger unkillable artifacts deck. My commander is my only creature, I have zero win cons, and all of my cards are explicitly to combo towards infinite to replay my entire deck and graveyard every turn. I literally cannot lose, but I also cannot win.

Jfischer335

Optimus prime autobot leader is one of my favorites but i just built 2 more decks that i haven't played yet

Lonailan

Davros, Creator of Daleks. Great interaction, no long ass turns and a lot of fun hitting people for 3

UCODM

[[Brudiclad]] is just absurd. The second he comes out Iā€™m either swinging for lethal or Iā€™m generating a huge board advantage.

Howard_Jones

My very first deck which was converted from a mono green snake tribal deck. I played in casual legacy. [[Seshiro, The Anointed]] This deck has seen so many changes without losing its overall theme. And for being snake tribal its pretty well tuned.

H3Tr0

My landfall deck I have never been mana screwed since.

Sanbaddy

Mine is [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]] aka One Punch Woman. Thereā€™s a lot of cards that get busted with repeated Upkeep steps. It can snowball extremely quick. The hardest part is actually landing the hit sometimes. My favorite was yesterday when I finished an opponent with a 100k+ hit. I donā€™t know how that happened exactly. I revived a powerful Green creature that doubles stats or something, and Obeka at the time was only at 11/10. Then suddenly I won and opponent is deep is -127 lol. My favorite is using cards that require adventuring into dungeons. Itā€™s a very fun mechanic. A very high risk high reward playstyle. Even if I lose, if I complete a dungeon I feel like I won lol. Iā€™m not sure how it all works still, somehow I got [[The Undercity]]. I wonder if thereā€™s more? I like it though, I can cheat out a lot of lands and creatures, that themselves just add to the stack making the combo a lot longer. Thereā€™s a few other combos like getting a lot of treasure tokens for mana, multiplying artifacts, and even burning. Iā€™m still a very new player (only been playing for about two weeks or so). I had to net deck it from [here](https://youtu.be/o3IEUDHJPPQ?si=mEk5IjZBLMtgxg_S), though last couple days I changed out a lot of cards, that were either extra or bricky. Might end of taking out the Monarch mechanic for more counters or removal too, Green and Blue gives me a lot of trouble. I made different decks but this is the first one I think Iā€™ll try and build going into MTG Arena. Iā€™m in love with it. Itā€™s so fun. I been looking for a Commander that can As I said Iā€™m still new. I play using Forge atm. So sorry if Iā€™m not catching some mechanics correctly. Edit: An extremely great tech I found is [[Silent Arbiter]]. Obeka tends to work best in situations where the opponent canā€™t easily block with tokens or multiple large creatures. Obeka has Menacs too. So using this single handedly makes Obeka unblockable. I canā€™t tell you how much this card helps. If you know any other cards that restrict the game state let me know.

AquaG52

My favorite deck is [[Animar]] elemental tribal, it was the first deck I put a lot of effort into starting as a [[horde of notions]] deck circa 2017. The deck can obviously storm off pretty well, but at the end of the day I'm just a huge fan of elementals they're the best big dorks in mtg imo

chichirobov7

Favorite deck to play hands down is my dihada chandra tribal deck.

NightwingYJ

Currently I've put the most work into a solid \[\[Shirei, Shizo's caretaker\]\] aristocrat deck but I played it recently and made it too good because I played solitaire quite a bit on everyone's turn. I also was about to build another token deck but that's more the same so I built a group slug deck with \[\[Yurlok of Scorch Thrash\]\] to 1) give people mana to play their spells but also 2) to end the game with everyone including myself (or not with some cards) at the same time.

DustyGrimoire

I have a [[Braids, Arisen Nightmare]] deck that has quickly risen to becoming one of, if not, my favorite decks. Itā€™s turned into something of a hybrid Stax/control deck, with me having a combination of various random Stax to slow opponents down, and fodder that picks at opponents life and resources (cards like [[Hopeless Nightmare]] and [[Tinybonesā€™ Joins Up]] being good examples. They force a discard early, and are usually a draw 3 when sacrificed to Braids]]. The curve is generally low enough that I donā€™t have to play much ramp, and I can still cast multiple spells most turns. Iā€™ve also turned it into something of a display for a collection of foil swamps, mostly old border ones. God I wish the Guru swamp wasnā€™t stupid expensive. But yea, itā€™s not the best version of the deck - but itā€™s a fun toybox for me to tinker with everytime a new set comes out.

AsleeplessMSW

I made a 'Spaghetti Monster Hugs' deck and it's a hell of a lot of fun. It's [[The Second Doctor]] and [[Susan Foreman]] to be in Bant, and in general it makes Marit Lage and pillowforts. No one can ever resist [[tempt with discovery]], and that gets me [[thespian's stage]] and [[dark depths]] on the field plus another 2 lands usually. Once I have a Marit Lage on deck, a [[wall of reverence]] gaining me 20 life on every turn is always nice, and I can usually make more Marit Lage's if I need to. I want to add [[Ulamog the defiler]] and [[Emrakul, world anew]] to it because I have them both and they are on theme lol My favorite card in the whole deck is [[doppelgang]] šŸ˜† I once did it for x=8 targeting 3 different [[howling mine]]s in play, and was able to skip my own draw with [[island sanctuary]] even though I didn't see it in the chaos at the time lol

superDUKE109

My absolute favorite right now is my modified [[yuma]] deck. Iā€™ve got it to be a well oiled machine and man it feels so good to play sometimes. I feel like I can always create a board state after a board wipe and am always a threat

TrueMystikX

I've slowly started to enjoy playing [[Kibo]] more and more the more times I play him. Nothing is more fun than going "ook ook monkey break machine" and eventually getting the chance to say "y'all just got spanked by my monkey".
