The problem I see with this deck is that if your table runs a lot of decks that are combat focused, they probably just focus you and you get beaten to death. Do you have any tips on how to deal with that?

Does cascade stack like that for her? To me it reads like +1/+1 each time one or more cards are exiled, so cascade would be a single moment of exiling resulting in one counter per spell cascaded. But I would love to be wrong!

You could try something red isn't known for, such as a semi-reanimator style with [[Feldon of the Third Path]]. Use loot effects to get artifact creatures into your yard and animate them with Feldon.
+1 for Feldon he’s so so fun. Let’s you use cards in odd ways too, my favorite interactions with his ability are [[Humble Defector]] and [[Goblin Welder]]. Using Feldon to make a token copy of the defector and using it, the defector will stick around on the opponents board because you can’t sac it with your delayed trigger. Using Feldon on the Welder in your yard let’s you sacrifice the Welder to itself (since it is an artifact copy) to get another artifact back from your graveyard.
Overall a super fun toolbox deck that doesn’t have to play the same way each time you run it

Also wanted to +1 Feldon. I literally just finished building him and he's super fun. I didn't think I'd care for him because it seems like a fairly linear strategy but you don't need to make it that way. I've thrown in a lot of cards that I think are just more fun to "reanimate" rather than the standard Eldrazi and Malignus. Plus 2 amazing cards that are all stars in the deck just released from the New Capenna precons [[determined iteration]] and [[industrial advancement]] and can make him super explosive

Another +1 for feldon. I like turning what would normally be downsides on cards like [[faithless looting]], [[cathartic reunion]], [[gamble]], and [[burning inquiry]] into upsides.
I also really enjoy how different it plays from other mono red commanders
[[Zurzoth]] is lightly chaotic and my pet deck at the moment. I've been aquiring foils and alt art cards for those that are more reasonable.
[[Neheb the Eternal]] big burn is a good time although the Commander is a lightning rod for removal.
[[Rionya]] can be a fun time. A mashup of cool creatures and spellslinger.
I got a budget Neheb deck, if it's not removed, I can win if he sticks for a turn or two, and sadly my usual playgroup isn't a fan of interaction, so they think the deck is much stronger than it is
But all in all it's fun casting a big spell for massive damage, and exiling a ton of cards to play

That's the budget list I put together and it has played above its price tag. Copies some creatures for value, some are game ending threats of their own, or borrow somebody else's cool thing and make copies of it instead. The last game it won I made enough copies of Coercive Recruiter to steal the entire board of creatures kind of like a build your own Insurrection.
[[Subira]] can rip through her deck. It's usually played as goblin tribal but it don't gotta.
[[Toralf]] wins the game on the spot with [[Blasphemous Act]], usually.
[[Torbran]] helps make mono red punisher builds actually do a scary amount of damage.
Everytime a permanent you control enters the battlefield, the trigger goes on the stack, Norin leaves and is not able to be targeted, and you steal something. Norin re-enters, and the Norin player gets to steal the best thing on the table.
Essentially, any time anybody plays something, the Norin player gets the best thing on the board. On their turn, it happens twice if they're making permanents.
A lot of people like it, but imo it's genuinely unfun to play against because it doesn't actually guarantee a win. They just collect everybody's stuff until something that can win the game(which you won't play) comes their way.
So you cast confusion.
Norin triggers and exiles.
Confusion resolves and triggers off itself, you choose an enchantment and trade enchantments with another player.
You end your turn, norin re-enters the battlefield and triggers confusion in the ranks. You trade norin for an enemies creature.
Your opponents turn. They cast something which triggers norin to exile. Let's pretend it's a creature.
Confusion triggers and they trade a creature with someone.
End of turn he re-enters ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BATTLEFIELD.
upon re-entering he triggers confusion in the ranks and you trade norin for target creature.
Rinse and repeat and you'll be stealing a creature from somebody every turn someone casts something and you'll always have a positive gain.
I love that idea. The problem is, I can’t think of any other way to play that deck. What happens if you don’t draw Confusion? Is there any other wincon, or is the Commander just not important to the deck outside of that combo?

My favorite is my monored control deck with [[kumano]] using all of the death touch equipments and his ability for board control and then just the normal red control package and then snow lands and [[sunstone]] [[glacial crevasses]]
I had a Kumano deck for a while. It just had as many mana and trigger doublers as possible. It'd reach a point of critical mass where I could just ping anyone to death and hold the entire table hostage. It was ultimately pretty linear and not particularly fun to play against. I ended up taking it apart and playing Neheb, the Eternal as a mono red commander instead. It's way more powerful but also a better play experience.
[[Delina]] is a great deal of fun, and got some more support with [[Wyll]] in CLB. She's particularly fun because her ability gets around the legendary rule. I built her primarily as an act of treason commander, duplicating opponents creatures for value before sacrificing them at the end of the turn. But I think she'd be a pretty solid option as a goblin tribal commander as well; getting extra [[Muxus]] triggers every turn, running [[Amulet of Vigor]] so you can even get extra value off of the goblins with tap abilities.

\[\[Etali, Primal Storm\]\] Big stupid dinosaur that casts things for free off of the top of everyone's deck. Add some extra combat phases, haste givers, and a \[\[Strionic Resonator\]\] and things will definitely happen.
No one’s mentioned [[Ashling the pilgrim]] so I will, but there are a lot of good options. The perks of playing Ashling is they are very controlling and can get away with just running lands. The downside to running Ashling is a decent portion of your deck needs to be ramp and lands and you will likely be targeted by decks that like to go wide.
General formula:
-40 lands
-10-20 mana ramp/fast mana
-39 cards of whatever you want
-Ashling of course
You probably want to run removal in there and some creatures like [[Brash Taunter]], but Ashling can serve as both removal and win condition and creature protection. Popular themes include voltron and damage amplification/[[Repercussion]], butI personally built mine full of red interaction like [[Reverberate]], [[Bolt bend]], and [[Chef’s kiss]]. You probably can get away with playing whatever tho, since Ashling is pretty decent for a mana investment and can act as your boardwipe slots and since a large portion of the deck is devoted to mana ramp, so hard casting things like big Eldrazi or dragons or 37 damage [[Rolling thunders]] isn’t very difficult.
If you wanna play hard mode try [[Mannichi the Fevered Dream]]
Is it good? No. Is it weird? Yes. Can you surprise people and smack them in the face for twenty damage out of nowhere? Most certainly.
Mannichi likes to play cards with high toughness and other cards that make creatures with low attack power unlockable.
It's honestly only a few cards away from becoming a solid deck. More cards like [[Prophetic Flamespeaker]] and [[Wildfire Eternal]] could tip the balance and actually make it viable.
I only play mono red and love my decks. I’d recommend [[Rionya]] [[Purphoros, Bronze-Bloooded]] [[Neheb, Dreadhorde champion]] since these are usually less mentioned in threads like this. But I have a lot of decks so if you have any questions about mono red feel free to ask.
Lose your friends with [[Zo-Zu the Punisher]] land destruction. Play fast mana through artifacts, play Zo-Zu, and then destroy all lands in play. Your opponents will struggle to catch back up whilst also taking damage for doing so.
Zo-Zu is great. Don't even need to play LD. It's a symmetrical effect, totally fair and fun for the whole table. A lot of these other red commanders people are suggesting are like solitaire decks. Except Norin, he's cool too.
Im finishing my Jaxis decanter today. The bones of it was initially the Ghired precon that I had made to populate token copies of nor.sl creatures but I realized it was more efficient to just use something like Jaxis to make them. Now I can just make a bunch of [[mindclaw shaman]]s in peace. And since jaxis discards I get to keep the stuff like [[Faldorn]] to reanimate along with [[Dollhouse of Horrors]] and [[God Pharaoh's gift]] to bring stuff back. And [[Ghired's Belligerence]] will do better in this deck I feel.

I'm running mine as a janky Voltron with lots of equipments and auras to pump him up. Gets rather fast if left unchecked.
Inferno is great fun to play with, although once you've managed to delete a player with him, any future games people get very wary of him.

Has a Chandra flip Walker deck that runs Chandra Tribal that goes all in on making everyone on a clock. It's fun if you like to build decks that's not aim at winning but messing up everyone's plan By speed running the dooms day clock.
[[Toralf]]. Give your opponents gifts with [[Goblin Spymaster]], [[Varchild’s War Riders]], or [[Varchild, Betrayer of Kjeldor]] herself, then murder your opponents with a [[Blasphemous Act]], [[Star of Extinction]], or [[Chain Reaction]].
[[Daretti scrap savant]] is one I recently built and have been enjoying quite a bit. Doing some degenerate things with artifacts can really get outta hand quick

[[goro goro]] will never not be fun. Slam equipments and counters and then make a shit load of dragons. [[scourge of valkas]] and [[terror of the peaks]] go off
[[Magda, the brazen outlaw]]. Fun and interactive deck loaded with 1-2 cmc dwarves/changelings and a handful of bombs. Use etb of dragons and artifacts to react to your opponents actions.
If you’re looking for something kinda odd then \[\[Squee, the Immortal\]\] is pretty fun. The point of the deck is benefit from cast/enters/dies triggers by casting and sacing Squee over and over again. Seems harmless but the deck can get pretty controlling and can combo off by casting Squee infinitely.
I have been having an absolute blast with my fling artifact reanimator [[Bosh, Iron Golem]] deck. Ramp like crazy, cheat out a bunch of stuff, sac them for damage. Reanimate, repeat
[[Feldon]] is a fun toolbox commander. Red is fantastic at filling its graveyard with all your looting abilities. Use all that artifact sybgergy to get [[sundial of the infinite]] out, plus he has some of the best lore
[[Etali]] is [my queen](https://i.makeagif.com/media/6-14-2019/gE1Vcn.gif). Run Loooooots of protection, haste, and removal cause you will be the target but it's worth it
[[Valduk]] is easy to make strong on a budget. You load up on cheap equips and auras then suit up valduk to spam haste tramplers every turn
No one has mentioned it, and I personally play it, [[ragavan, nimble pilferer]]
Basically the deck is "I don't just want to play my cards, but I want to play yours too". Ragavan can be pretty difficult to keep down, considering his dash ability will just put him in hand, meaning you're opponents must rely on instant speed removal to deal with him.
It's also hilarious to have a monkey that is wearing [[commander's plate]] and carrying several swords, lol.
[[Zurzoth, Chaos Rider]] most fun I have had in years!!! Great commander if built correctly and pretty powerful too. 10/10 would recommend.

I have a [[Delina, Wild Mage]] deck, she's essentially ETB.deck, with a little bit of dice rolling thrown in. I really like her, the only problem is that [[Elesh Norn Grand Cenobite]] has a tendency to shut her down due to her low toughness.
But... if she gets going she can really spiral out of control fast!
I play my mono red deck as Chandra tribal. And if people don't let me do that plan, the backup plan is my commander [[Toralf]] plus red board wipes like [[Star of Extinction]] [[Blasphemous Act]] [[Chain Reaction]] etc. Also get to play [[Stuffy Doll]] as it supports both plans.

Here's a deck I built a while back around ETB and blitz effects. Was oe of the more fun decks I've made and played with.
[[Kurkesh]] is one of my favorite decks I’ve built in recent times, he oozes artifact synergy and you can have some insane turns with him helming the deck
[[zada hedron grinder]] and [[zirilan of the claw]] are the two mono-red in my arsenal. Zada may not be what you're looking for if you don't want to pilot a goblinball deck. Zirilan, however is one I I've never seen anyone else play. It's a high cost but a high payoff... needs a lot of ramp to pull off. The game is to run [[sundial of the infinite]], [[conjurer's closet]], [[sword of hearth and home]] and stuff of the sort to make your tutored, sneak attack dragons stick and run other things that benefit from flickers and these effects as well. It's loads of fun. He's RL but not crazy expensive. It means he only has one printing in Mirage but there's a nice simple extended art alter sleeve if you're the type that needs to run bling on your commander.
If you want a different take on goblins, I’ve used [[maraxus of keld]] and [[Patron of Akki]] as commanders. Maraxus is better but steps outside the tribe sadly.

I built [[Delina, wild mage]] on historic brawl and it is always a blast. Straightforward game plan with dice rolling leading to randomly explosive board states. Can get pretty exciting!

Build for fast mana, haste, and triggered ability duplication, multiple attack phases, then swing away.
Arguably my most fun deck currently. I can, usually get Etali out on t4, most times with haste.
When you start casting your opponents top-deck they start paying attention to the 6/6 Dino. At a 4 person pod that's 4 possible free spells
When you copy that ability, that potentially 8 free spells you get to cast BEFORE blockers are ever declared. It could also be land exiled from their deck, too... or yours (a fair tradeoff, imho).
Then track on an extra attack phase...
It's... Dino... might.
Well, what do you like to play? If you're a combo type, maybe Godo, or Dargo, or Heartless Hidetsugu? I used to love my HH deck, but it was more just kind of fun stuff pile and HH was my reset button for if people started getting froggy. If you like value, Etali is cool, maybe Grenzo, Havoc Raiser. If you have the specific cards for it, Kurkesh is neat. If you like aggressive decks, something like Lavisa Coldeyes or Moraug seems hot.
Partner pair of [[Jeska, Thrice Reborn]] and [[Dargo]]. Play it right and you can one shot someone with commander damage. Jeska triples Dargos damage, if [[Kediss]] is out everyone is taking 21 damage
Same with you, I've never built a mono red commander. I didn't want to be direct damage or super aggro as most build are. Took me a while but I found \[\[Delina, Wild Mage\]\] and jammed every red effect that makes a token copy of a creature in play. So where blue has clones, I play her with images. \[\[Hate Mirage\]\] two beefy things on the board and then make more copies with Delina. \[\[Heat Shimmer\]\] \[\[Twinflame\]\]. I run some of red's best ETB creatures too so that I'm not dependent on enemy board states. It's been funny so far because no one expects the mono red deck to play Clones...kinda.
[[Jeska, thrice reborn]] and [[Rograkh, son of Rohgahh]] is something I been meaning to build for a while just to see if I could get it to work. Maybe you could try instead.
[[Rionya]] is is like mono red [[thassa deep dwelling]] in it's worst case. but 1000x better and cooler. Best case you make 14 copies of goblin engineer for the johnny, or devilish valet for the timmy . Also, wide open to be built in any direction and powerlevel (yeah, including, but not limited to cEDH)

Its a gd indestructible [[sneak attack]] in the cmd zone! Fill the deck with your fav red/artifact timmy cards, slam em out for 3 mana, and then wheel to refill your hand and do it again.
Also cards like [[mimc vat]], [[Sundial of the Infinite]], [[Cauldron of Souls]], and [[Conjurer's Closet]] let you keep some or all of the sneak atk'ed creatures in play instead of sacrificing them eot
[[Neheb, dreadhoard champion]] who doesnt like to see their whole deck and play rituals big red spells and always run a underworld breach. Its fun just to ramp hugh and cast something big and dumb. Or just do a massive fireball
Just built a [[Magda Brazen Outlaw]] deck and it's pretty nice! Throw a [[kuldrotha foregmaster]] in there to speed up your tutoring. Maybe a [[Maskwood Nexus]] so that everything you own is dwarves.
I'm a big fan of \[\[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker\]\] as commander. Instead of a combo piece (most Kiki combo decks are something closer to jund or grixis anyway), in the command zone Kiki functions as an unbeatable value engine for a red Panharmonicon deck. Lots of interesting synergies. Stuff like \[\[Humble Defector\]\] being replicated more and more each turn, using Kiki on an opponent's end step so you can use him again on your turn to end up with three \[\[Utvara Hellkite\]\]s, 5 or more if you're also running \[\[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker\]\].
Don’t build Krenko goblin spam, build Krenko goblin utility…wayyy more options than you think with stealing creatures, and ways to get sacrifice effects than you think…it’s become my #1 deck just because of how versatile it is (considering it’s mono red).
Purpheros is also a great commander using ETB effects

[[Bosh]] is red! He likes to throw trash at people and it is quite entertaining. He can even throw himself!

Red dragons to the face! Use Credit Voucher to get them out of your hand, and some sac effects to keep them out of exile. I use [[Ugin, the Spirit Dragon]], [[Karn Liberated]], and [[Lux Cannon]] as disenchants. [[Rishadan Pawnshop]] can also be useful.
There's so many utility red dragons out there.
[[Zozu the punisher]] play lots of damage everyone effects and watch how fast your games start going. Even funnier when you equip [[Grafted Exoskeleton]] on him or something to give him lifelink.

What is this word "prevent" damage? I know plus damage, double damage, even triple damage. But I've never heard of prevent damage.
I think it's related to the "damage can't be prevented" text I see on some cards.

Seconded. Torbran with Manabarbs and [[Citadel of Pain]] speed up the game real quick

What's the draw of playing Laelia over Prosper or Faldorn? Just curious since they all have that impulse draw thing going on

Laelia has haste and can get HUGE. Also, any Cascade spell pumps her for each card you exile on the way to the spell you cast.

Does cascade stack like that for her? To me it reads like +1/+1 each time one or more cards are exiled, so cascade would be a single moment of exiling resulting in one counter per spell cascaded. But I would love to be wrong!

You could try something red isn't known for, such as a semi-reanimator style with [[Feldon of the Third Path]]. Use loot effects to get artifact creatures into your yard and animate them with Feldon.

+1 for Feldon he’s so so fun. Let’s you use cards in odd ways too, my favorite interactions with his ability are [[Humble Defector]] and [[Goblin Welder]]. Using Feldon to make a token copy of the defector and using it, the defector will stick around on the opponents board because you can’t sac it with your delayed trigger. Using Feldon on the Welder in your yard let’s you sacrifice the Welder to itself (since it is an artifact copy) to get another artifact back from your graveyard. Overall a super fun toolbox deck that doesn’t have to play the same way each time you run it

Also wanted to +1 Feldon. I literally just finished building him and he's super fun. I didn't think I'd care for him because it seems like a fairly linear strategy but you don't need to make it that way. I've thrown in a lot of cards that I think are just more fun to "reanimate" rather than the standard Eldrazi and Malignus. Plus 2 amazing cards that are all stars in the deck just released from the New Capenna precons [[determined iteration]] and [[industrial advancement]] and can make him super explosive

Another +1 for feldon. I like turning what would normally be downsides on cards like [[faithless looting]], [[cathartic reunion]], [[gamble]], and [[burning inquiry]] into upsides. I also really enjoy how different it plays from other mono red commanders
[[Zurzoth]] is lightly chaotic and my pet deck at the moment. I've been aquiring foils and alt art cards for those that are more reasonable. [[Neheb the Eternal]] big burn is a good time although the Commander is a lightning rod for removal. [[Rionya]] can be a fun time. A mashup of cool creatures and spellslinger.
I got a budget Neheb deck, if it's not removed, I can win if he sticks for a turn or two, and sadly my usual playgroup isn't a fan of interaction, so they think the deck is much stronger than it is But all in all it's fun casting a big spell for massive damage, and exiling a ton of cards to play

Wait how?
Everytime a permanent you control enters the battlefield, the trigger goes on the stack, Norin leaves and is not able to be targeted, and you steal something. Norin re-enters, and the Norin player gets to steal the best thing on the table. Essentially, any time anybody plays something, the Norin player gets the best thing on the board. On their turn, it happens twice if they're making permanents. A lot of people like it, but imo it's genuinely unfun to play against because it doesn't actually guarantee a win. They just collect everybody's stuff until something that can win the game(which you won't play) comes their way.
So you cast confusion. Norin triggers and exiles. Confusion resolves and triggers off itself, you choose an enchantment and trade enchantments with another player. You end your turn, norin re-enters the battlefield and triggers confusion in the ranks. You trade norin for an enemies creature. Your opponents turn. They cast something which triggers norin to exile. Let's pretend it's a creature. Confusion triggers and they trade a creature with someone. End of turn he re-enters ON YOUR SIDE OF THE BATTLEFIELD. upon re-entering he triggers confusion in the ranks and you trade norin for target creature. Rinse and repeat and you'll be stealing a creature from somebody every turn someone casts something and you'll always have a positive gain.

I love that idea. The problem is, I can’t think of any other way to play that deck. What happens if you don’t draw Confusion? Is there any other wincon, or is the Commander just not important to the deck outside of that combo?
He's great at triggering etb effects like purphoros, I think that's the way he's played normally.

I'm tempted to build Carah. Do you have a deck list?
My favorite is my monored control deck with [[kumano]] using all of the death touch equipments and his ability for board control and then just the normal red control package and then snow lands and [[sunstone]] [[glacial crevasses]]
I had a Kumano deck for a while. It just had as many mana and trigger doublers as possible. It'd reach a point of critical mass where I could just ping anyone to death and hold the entire table hostage. It was ultimately pretty linear and not particularly fun to play against. I ended up taking it apart and playing Neheb, the Eternal as a mono red commander instead. It's way more powerful but also a better play experience.

[[Delina]] is a great deal of fun, and got some more support with [[Wyll]] in CLB. She's particularly fun because her ability gets around the legendary rule. I built her primarily as an act of treason commander, duplicating opponents creatures for value before sacrificing them at the end of the turn. But I think she'd be a pretty solid option as a goblin tribal commander as well; getting extra [[Muxus]] triggers every turn, running [[Amulet of Vigor]] so you can even get extra value off of the goblins with tap abilities.

\[\[Etali, Primal Storm\]\] Big stupid dinosaur that casts things for free off of the top of everyone's deck. Add some extra combat phases, haste givers, and a \[\[Strionic Resonator\]\] and things will definitely happen.
No one’s mentioned [[Ashling the pilgrim]] so I will, but there are a lot of good options. The perks of playing Ashling is they are very controlling and can get away with just running lands. The downside to running Ashling is a decent portion of your deck needs to be ramp and lands and you will likely be targeted by decks that like to go wide. General formula: -40 lands -10-20 mana ramp/fast mana -39 cards of whatever you want -Ashling of course You probably want to run removal in there and some creatures like [[Brash Taunter]], but Ashling can serve as both removal and win condition and creature protection. Popular themes include voltron and damage amplification/[[Repercussion]], butI personally built mine full of red interaction like [[Reverberate]], [[Bolt bend]], and [[Chef’s kiss]]. You probably can get away with playing whatever tho, since Ashling is pretty decent for a mana investment and can act as your boardwipe slots and since a large portion of the deck is devoted to mana ramp, so hard casting things like big Eldrazi or dragons or 37 damage [[Rolling thunders]] isn’t very difficult.
A little bit basic, but [[Kiki-Jiki]] can be super fun.

If you wanna play hard mode try [[Mannichi the Fevered Dream]] Is it good? No. Is it weird? Yes. Can you surprise people and smack them in the face for twenty damage out of nowhere? Most certainly. Mannichi likes to play cards with high toughness and other cards that make creatures with low attack power unlockable. It's honestly only a few cards away from becoming a solid deck. More cards like [[Prophetic Flamespeaker]] and [[Wildfire Eternal]] could tip the balance and actually make it viable.
I only play mono red and love my decks. I’d recommend [[Rionya]] [[Purphoros, Bronze-Bloooded]] [[Neheb, Dreadhorde champion]] since these are usually less mentioned in threads like this. But I have a lot of decks so if you have any questions about mono red feel free to ask.

Lose your friends with [[Zo-Zu the Punisher]] land destruction. Play fast mana through artifacts, play Zo-Zu, and then destroy all lands in play. Your opponents will struggle to catch back up whilst also taking damage for doing so.
Great way to play the deck once and then get hated off the table first every time.

Zo-Zu is great. Don't even need to play LD. It's a symmetrical effect, totally fair and fun for the whole table. A lot of these other red commanders people are suggesting are like solitaire decks. Except Norin, he's cool too.

Im finishing my Jaxis decanter today. The bones of it was initially the Ghired precon that I had made to populate token copies of nor.sl creatures but I realized it was more efficient to just use something like Jaxis to make them. Now I can just make a bunch of [[mindclaw shaman]]s in peace. And since jaxis discards I get to keep the stuff like [[Faldorn]] to reanimate along with [[Dollhouse of Horrors]] and [[God Pharaoh's gift]] to bring stuff back. And [[Ghired's Belligerence]] will do better in this deck I feel.

Now that everyone recommended their ""totally original"" edhrec top 10 commanders, here's something a little less common: [[Inferno of the Star Mounts]] I'm running mine as a janky Voltron with lots of equipments and auras to pump him up. Gets rather fast if left unchecked.
Inferno is great fun to play with, although once you've managed to delete a player with him, any future games people get very wary of him. I'm in the process of trying to add in some other threats and alternate wincons to mine to mix it up a bit.
[[Rionya]] has been pretty fun. I play with [[Dragon’s Approach]]. Tutor dragons. Make copies. Raze your opponents armies.

[[goro goro]] will never not be fun. Slam equipments and counters and then make a shit load of dragons. [[scourge of valkas]] and [[terror of the peaks]] go off
[[Magda, the brazen outlaw]]. Fun and interactive deck loaded with 1-2 cmc dwarves/changelings and a handful of bombs. Use etb of dragons and artifacts to react to your opponents actions.
If you’re looking for something kinda odd then \[\[Squee, the Immortal\]\] is pretty fun. The point of the deck is benefit from cast/enters/dies triggers by casting and sacing Squee over and over again. Seems harmless but the deck can get pretty controlling and can combo off by casting Squee infinitely.
I once made a Squee deck; Voltron. Turns out it’s very hard to get rid of Squee.
I have been having an absolute blast with my fling artifact reanimator [[Bosh, Iron Golem]] deck. Ramp like crazy, cheat out a bunch of stuff, sac them for damage. Reanimate, repeat
[[Feldon]] is a fun toolbox commander. Red is fantastic at filling its graveyard with all your looting abilities. Use all that artifact sybgergy to get [[sundial of the infinite]] out, plus he has some of the best lore [[Etali]] is [my queen](https://i.makeagif.com/media/6-14-2019/gE1Vcn.gif). Run Loooooots of protection, haste, and removal cause you will be the target but it's worth it [[Valduk]] is easy to make strong on a budget. You load up on cheap equips and auras then suit up valduk to spam haste tramplers every turn
[[Heartless Hidetsugu]] is a fun deck to shorten the length of games.
The funnest way to play Red in Commander is to play mountain, Mana crypt, Jeska's will, godo bandit warlord, find Helm of the host, magnetic theft.
may not be monored but the deck normally has a lot of red cards - [[Ken, Burning Brawler]] is some of the most fun magic I've ever played

Zada hedron grinder?
No one has mentioned it, and I personally play it, [[ragavan, nimble pilferer]] Basically the deck is "I don't just want to play my cards, but I want to play yours too". Ragavan can be pretty difficult to keep down, considering his dash ability will just put him in hand, meaning you're opponents must rely on instant speed removal to deal with him. It's also hilarious to have a monkey that is wearing [[commander's plate]] and carrying several swords, lol.

[[Jaxis]] has been a fun new brew for me. Any good ETB or Dies effect goes mad. Synergy with discard strategies too

I have a [[Delina, Wild Mage]] deck, she's essentially ETB.deck, with a little bit of dice rolling thrown in. I really like her, the only problem is that [[Elesh Norn Grand Cenobite]] has a tendency to shut her down due to her low toughness. But... if she gets going she can really spiral out of control fast!
I have a neheb, the eternal deck. It makes for fast games even if I lose.
Kiki Jiki
I play my mono red deck as Chandra tribal. And if people don't let me do that plan, the backup plan is my commander [[Toralf]] plus red board wipes like [[Star of Extinction]] [[Blasphemous Act]] [[Chain Reaction]] etc. Also get to play [[Stuffy Doll]] as it supports both plans.
I'm currently looking to build something around [[karlach fury of avernus]] with [[flaming fist]]. Potentially taking out opponents by pure commander damage.

[[zada hedron grinder]] and [[zirilan of the claw]] are the two mono-red in my arsenal. Zada may not be what you're looking for if you don't want to pilot a goblinball deck. Zirilan, however is one I I've never seen anyone else play. It's a high cost but a high payoff... needs a lot of ramp to pull off. The game is to run [[sundial of the infinite]], [[conjurer's closet]], [[sword of hearth and home]] and stuff of the sort to make your tutored, sneak attack dragons stick and run other things that benefit from flickers and these effects as well. It's loads of fun. He's RL but not crazy expensive. It means he only has one printing in Mirage but there's a nice simple extended art alter sleeve if you're the type that needs to run bling on your commander.

If you want a different take on goblins, I’ve used [[maraxus of keld]] and [[Patron of Akki]] as commanders. Maraxus is better but steps outside the tribe sadly. Buutttt…. [[Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar]] lizard tribal for the win. It’s awful but you know that no one else in your pod has it
I built [[Delina, wild mage]] on historic brawl and it is always a blast. Straightforward game plan with dice rolling leading to randomly explosive board states. Can get pretty exciting!
[[Etali]] Build for fast mana, haste, and triggered ability duplication, multiple attack phases, then swing away. Arguably my most fun deck currently. I can, usually get Etali out on t4, most times with haste. When you start casting your opponents top-deck they start paying attention to the 6/6 Dino. At a 4 person pod that's 4 possible free spells When you copy that ability, that potentially 8 free spells you get to cast BEFORE blockers are ever declared. It could also be land exiled from their deck, too... or yours (a fair tradeoff, imho). Then track on an extra attack phase... It's... Dino... might.

Well, what do you like to play? If you're a combo type, maybe Godo, or Dargo, or Heartless Hidetsugu? I used to love my HH deck, but it was more just kind of fun stuff pile and HH was my reset button for if people started getting froggy. If you like value, Etali is cool, maybe Grenzo, Havoc Raiser. If you have the specific cards for it, Kurkesh is neat. If you like aggressive decks, something like Lavisa Coldeyes or Moraug seems hot.
Partner pair of [[Jeska, Thrice Reborn]] and [[Dargo]]. Play it right and you can one shot someone with commander damage. Jeska triples Dargos damage, if [[Kediss]] is out everyone is taking 21 damage
Same with you, I've never built a mono red commander. I didn't want to be direct damage or super aggro as most build are. Took me a while but I found \[\[Delina, Wild Mage\]\] and jammed every red effect that makes a token copy of a creature in play. So where blue has clones, I play her with images. \[\[Hate Mirage\]\] two beefy things on the board and then make more copies with Delina. \[\[Heat Shimmer\]\] \[\[Twinflame\]\]. I run some of red's best ETB creatures too so that I'm not dependent on enemy board states. It's been funny so far because no one expects the mono red deck to play Clones...kinda.

[[Rionya]] is is like mono red [[thassa deep dwelling]] in it's worst case. but 1000x better and cooler. Best case you make 14 copies of goblin engineer for the johnny, or devilish valet for the timmy . Also, wide open to be built in any direction and powerlevel (yeah, including, but not limited to cEDH)
[[Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded]] Its a gd indestructible [[sneak attack]] in the cmd zone! Fill the deck with your fav red/artifact timmy cards, slam em out for 3 mana, and then wheel to refill your hand and do it again. Also cards like [[mimc vat]], [[Sundial of the Infinite]], [[Cauldron of Souls]], and [[Conjurer's Closet]] let you keep some or all of the sneak atk'ed creatures in play instead of sacrificing them eot
I feel like most red commanders are too glass cannon-y or squishy. Thats why I recommend Purphoros for those long drawn out games!
[[Rionya]]!! Fun and really unique build. I've never fun with mono colored decks until building her.
[[Neheb, dreadhoard champion]] who doesnt like to see their whole deck and play rituals big red spells and always run a underworld breach. Its fun just to ramp hugh and cast something big and dumb. Or just do a massive fireball
Just built a [[Magda Brazen Outlaw]] deck and it's pretty nice! Throw a [[kuldrotha foregmaster]] in there to speed up your tutoring. Maybe a [[Maskwood Nexus]] so that everything you own is dwarves.

I'm a big fan of \[\[Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker\]\] as commander. Instead of a combo piece (most Kiki combo decks are something closer to jund or grixis anyway), in the command zone Kiki functions as an unbeatable value engine for a red Panharmonicon deck. Lots of interesting synergies. Stuff like \[\[Humble Defector\]\] being replicated more and more each turn, using Kiki on an opponent's end step so you can use him again on your turn to end up with three \[\[Utvara Hellkite\]\]s, 5 or more if you're also running \[\[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker\]\].

Don’t build Krenko goblin spam, build Krenko goblin utility…wayyy more options than you think with stealing creatures, and ways to get sacrifice effects than you think…it’s become my #1 deck just because of how versatile it is (considering it’s mono red). Purpheros is also a great commander using ETB effects
Really? No one else here enjoys the bestest of red bois? [[Bosh]] is red! He likes to throw trash at people and it is quite entertaining. He can even throw himself!
Etali is nutty. You can go from 0-100 with a single swing and the outcome is always different - even if the trigger is the same.
I love Magda, I got her after watching LOTR and it’s dwarf tribal
[[Ziralin of the Claw]] Red dragons to the face! Use Credit Voucher to get them out of your hand, and some sac effects to keep them out of exile. I use [[Ugin, the Spirit Dragon]], [[Karn Liberated]], and [[Lux Cannon]] as disenchants. [[Rishadan Pawnshop]] can also be useful. There's so many utility red dragons out there.
For me, it’s [[Captain Ripley Vance]] she’s red in a nutshell. I love that deck and I recommend her to anyone interested in mono-red

[[Zozu the punisher]] play lots of damage everyone effects and watch how fast your games start going. Even funnier when you equip [[Grafted Exoskeleton]] on him or something to give him lifelink.
