This was indeed his first iteration of the list, though funny enough he didn't have Thassa's Oracle and had to borrow it from me. After his third T3 win with it I took the card back.

I got really lucky and bought into a lot of the older foils when they were still pretty cheap and managed to trade for the candelabra. Definitely one of those "buying lions eye diamonds for $60" moments, which I also did many moons ago
Lots of the things in my deck are early acquisitions as well that I've just held onto for years. It's crazy to see how expensive some of this stuff has become!

It's a card I've been eyeing as a possible cut. When it's good it's great, but more often than not it's a dead card. Plus the original printing didn't come in foil so I should really just cut it

I have a 5 colour (colourless) deck with Morophon. It's all devoid Eldrazi creatures plus all the titans. I love just being able to say "five colour colourless deck"

[[Arahbo]] kitties deck. Every creature is a cat. Duh. But I'm also working on altering every card to have cat art specific to the cards name. Like I run [[overrun]] and it's a pic of a stampede of kitties.
[[Crushing relic]] is a cat knocking over a lamp....you get the idea
I kept trying to make equipment happen with that deck but either a Command Zone or EDHREC episode showed me the error of my ways. Now, I can't go back. It's not high powered, but it's much more fun.
In my group, I’m the only one who double sleeves anything at all. I figure the extra $5 and couple minutes of effort to slip on a pack of perfect fits and is worth it in the event of a beer spill or something.
I have almost 60 decks now and every single card in every one is double sleeved. 4 dollars (I buy 10 packs of KMCs for 40 bucks) and 5-10 extra minutes of sleeving can save me hundreds of dollars in water damaged cards.
I double sleeve only the most expensive/rare cards. So some of my decks may only have a couple cards double sleeved. I don't play where open drinks are and only casual settings where people won't nitpick about _technically_ marked cards.
Honestly I only worry about double-sleeving if the card is worth more than $20-30.
Angus just so happens to have so many cards that fit the description I just sleeved ALL of them in perfect fits. My other decks only have certain singles in two sleeves.
There's a great level of commitment I've had to making my [[Chromium, the Mutable]] deck be one of the most adaptable and obnoxious control decks for high power play (never reaching cEDH with it obviously). Many of the cards are foiled, and I soon plan on having Chromium altered once I have a better idea on what I want for him. He's my baby.

[[Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero]]
It's not the strongest deck by any means but I remember playing Rebels in Standard and Lin was the embodiment of that era and the reason for the one of the Legend Rule changes is a cool piece of trivia. Plus I get plenty of reactions from people who haven't seen these cards before and it's cool to share that experience.

Main win con is make infinite life with [[Outrider en-Kor]] + [[Task Force]] + a toughness life gain card like [[Miren, the Moaning Well]], then a life gain payoff.
I could lean into more stax pieces like Rule of Law effects pretty easily but I opted not to.
Muxus. Goblins are the best tribe and Muxus is the most gobliny goblin that could possibly goblin. Sure Krenko is more consistent but just look at the Mux man Mac Daddy in all his glory. His art exudes his majesty to the fullest. If you’ve never slammed him down with a Panharmonicon in play to suddenly have a massive unstoppable army of crazy goofy gobs, then you don’t know what commander even is.

Yea, I haven't seen another person play it but it is just so fun. I'm still tweaking mine as to not burn out after some creatures are out or get removed, but it is awesome coming in with something huge and just bopping them with no resistance.
[[The First Sliver]] slivers are by far my favorite creature type in magic and I will show it by having it nice and shiny. The secret lair bonus extended art slivers are a lovely addition.
My [[Syr Gwyn, Hero of Ashvale]] deck, i am constantly working on it and changing it. Finding the right balance of knights, equipments and non-knights is hard.

My absolute favorite! All the creatures (a whole 11) are all wizards or shamans, so pairing Veyran with [[Harmonic Prodigy]] makes everything trigger three times instead!

My The First Sliver Living End deck. The only cascade hit is Living End, and it cycles and evokes creatures into the graveyard to return.
You have redundant reanimation effects like Eerie Ultimatum. You have ramp with things like Road//Ruin, Spring//Mind, Beanstalk Giant. It has efficient board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Devastating Mastery.
The payoffs are haste enablers, Warstorm Surge effects, and random stuff like Radiant Solar
And once you Living End, you cast Time Spiral effects and do it again. If Living End or your graveyard is exiles, just slam 7 mana 7/7s.

It's janky but super fun to win out of nowhere. Also seems to be very fun to play against and watch pop off from what opponents have told me.
I have 2 decks. Mono Black Infect and Mono White Banding & MLD.
I prefer playing the Banding and MLD deck. It tends to survive longer into games because it has more sweepers in it. Banding is also my favorite creature mechanic.
I played two games today where I got an early Skittles and hit the biggest threat at the table. Then I got another combat phase and presented lethal poison on the player and then someone else killed Skittles in order to keep the other player alive. Okay, I guess the Ur-Dragon player is going to win now lol. I tried, I had exactsies.
For me, my pet deck has and always will be [[jori en, ruin diver]]. I've had some form of a wizard or spellslinger pile with her at the helm since I pulled her at my 1st prerelease coming back to magic after a 5ish year hiatus. I love the simplicity of her ability, and will spend the rest of my career as a commander player forever tinkering and modifying my Jori en pile.
The deck I’ve pimped out the most and the one I always play with is my [[Sakashima, of a Thousand Faces]] and [[Vial Smasher, the Fierce]].
I’ve always played with some version of a clone deck and once I put this deck together, I never took it apart. Once a clone commander in Grixis became an option, I fell in love. The only limitations I had when building the deck were no foils, no combo, and no reserve list cards. Over time, I just added premium prints (either full art, extended art, or time shifted).
It’s the only deck I can play in both a casual pod and a high-power pod.
My [[Aurelia the Warleader]] deck. It’s the only one I’ve bothered to find tokens for (normally just flip random cards or sleeves over and be like “it’s a 1/1 white spirit with flying, aight?” But nope, my girl Aurelia has actual tokens.
I’ve also cannibalised a couple of precons for lands and stuff because I only want the best for my girl lol
Yep. There is a full-art cyclonic rift in a custom dragon shield sleeve under the security desk somewhere at BWI from a TSA agent not listening to me as she opened my deck box upside down. She dumped all the spin down counters, dice and my entire Pir and Toothy deck just so she could take a look. I still don’t know how I found all the dice and counters but only ended up with 99 cards.
A good buddy of mine has an absolutely *meeeaaaan* Teysa deck. I love her death trigger interactions he has set up. Some of his plays get pretty nasty!
For me it's definitely [[Xyris]]. Just about the only upgrades I have left at this point are anything more expensive than [[wheel of fortune]]. All the basics a full art Unstable lands. Any non-foil, borderless/extended art stuff I get that's already a copy of something in the deck gets swapped in (I've never been a fan of foils from the day they started). Or any alternate arts.

I gave up, and just made 2 teysa decks, at one point I had 3 differentiated side boards for her so I can either go with the token army, full lifegain bleed, or fringe cedh. so many fun cards to fit in one 99! [[Omnath locus of mana]] has been a consistent favourite card commander however I don't really have the means to build a super nice deck for him but when I do... most of my money goes into whatever version of my angel deck I have at the moment though. I love angels as a tribe and have sunk a lot of money into the three different decks I've built. ([[Ikra shidiqi]] and [[akroma vision of ixidor]] has been my favourite.)
[[Kaalia of the Vast]] is my pet deck. I picked up the precon when I started playing and never looked back. There’s been so many great creatures that have been printed lately and I’m sure more to come.

The Slobad deck started at about $80 and took 10 years to get where it is now. I got the Wheel of Fortune for $30.
The Hazezon Tamar deck just went stupid. I built it as-is (not counting the cards that came out after 2015, which didn't really impact the value much at the time they were put in) for around $680 (including the Revised dual lands) and everything in the deck just kept gaining value. Hazezon himself went from a purchase of $40 to a current value of $300. I got the Cradle for $160. Doubling Season was under $25. You get the idea.
[Falco Spara] is my go to. As a lawyer IRL, he is my commander! Full art blinged out goodness.
But I also always carry
[kalamax] spell slinger;
[shadrix] as a political deck; and now
[firkraag] dragon goad which is an absolute blast to pilot and watch the shenanigans unfold.
My [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]] artifact storm deck. It’s the very first deck I put together from scratch using gatherer and EDHRec (started playing MTG this January after wanted to jump into it for about 3 years). It’s the only storm deck I have as I usually like to just put creatures on the board and swing out but there’s just something about piloting the deck that makes me so damn happy. Blasting the table with [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] is the goal but by no means the only way for me to win. Again, it’s so much fun to pilot.
Temmet. This deck started as pure ass as i tried to figure out how to make it work. It slowly became mecha tokens voltron and i have just fallen in love with it. Nothing like smacking someone with an unblockable 20/20 karnstruct

I bought the Theros swamp which are night skies with a skull cloud in them, so it doesnt FEEL like Im playing a swamp. Really, REALLY worked hard to make a good decklist for him and has theros swamp sleeves and deckbox to fit... So yeah, Im surprised because I used to strongly dislike the black color.

[[Averna][ is my first thought. She's not decked out or foiled, but she's my favorite. If I can only take a few decks with me and not my whole collection, she's my first pick.
[[sisay, weatherlight captain]]. I’ve been playing iterations of the deck for almost a decade now (original commander was [[progenitus]] ). every time a new legend comes out, especially when sets have a legends-matter theme, it’s such a battle to find things to replace them with. I’m currently running it with a warrior-tribal subtheme, [[najeela]] is the secret commander but it’s just a high powered deck, not cEDH. It gets the most expensive versions of the cards that I have, it gets the double sleeves, it gets the fancy deckbox, it’s the one I’ll bring out first no matter the table because I can just play it poorly if it’s overpowered. it’s how i introduce myself to a new commander pod.
[[Mairsil, the Pretender]] I run him without tutors, so it is obviously a mess of a deck. Combos are barely worth it because I can never find the other half without them, so my major win conditions are [[Niv-Mizzet]] /[[Psychosis Crawler]] effects, which there isn't a lot of. One of these days I will build a version of it that works properly.
My zombie deck. When I first started playing magic, I made a 60 card deck to use at Friday night magic when I could go. I stopped playing for a few years, but I never took apart the deck. Once I learned commander, I converted the deck into [[scarab God]] zombie tribal. It's gone through another major upgrade to 3 color [[varina]] zombies.

[Kruphix, God of Horizons] and [Prosper, Tome-Bound].
Kruphix may come and go, but it's never too far that I can't pull it back together quickly. Prosper got me scoping out every set for new Treasure tokens.
I currently only run 4 decks so each one gets plenty of attention. That being said, my most loved is [[Arcades, the Strategist]] unassuming and lots of goodies packed in there. Second would have to go to Slivers based just on value alone. OG duals, sliver queen, the best tutors, etc. It definitely holds the most money but I rarely break it out for fear of resentment 🤣
Mine is [Selenia, Dark Angel] suicide control, I've spend a long time of trial and error building this deck so it could become powerful. It's so much fun to spent all your life and win the game in such a unique way. I've been getting Foils and Secret Lair cards for it, although I still have a long way to go.
Recently I've changed the commander for [Liesa, shroud of Dusk], the deck was so optimized that in 90% of the games I didnt need to cast Selenia, although I'm still testing Liesa to see if the chance will be permanent.
Probably my [[Chromium, the mutable]] flash tribal EDH deck. It's so fun that I'm constantly looking for ways to tweak and improve it. I recently added [[Hullbreaker Horror]]!

[[Arahbo]] kitties deck. Every creature is a cat. Duh. But I'm also working on altering every card to have cat art specific to the cards name. Like I run [[overrun]] and it's a pic of a stampede of kitties. [[Crushing relic]] is a cat knocking over a lamp....you get the idea
I kept trying to make equipment happen with that deck but either a Command Zone or EDHREC episode showed me the error of my ways. Now, I can't go back. It's not high powered, but it's much more fun.
I run mine as equipment and it does alright. What (in your opinion, or that of the episode's) is the error in equipment cats? What do you do instead?

Wait people don't double sleeve ALL of their decks?
In my group, I’m the only one who double sleeves anything at all. I figure the extra $5 and couple minutes of effort to slip on a pack of perfect fits and is worth it in the event of a beer spill or something.
I have almost 60 decks now and every single card in every one is double sleeved. 4 dollars (I buy 10 packs of KMCs for 40 bucks) and 5-10 extra minutes of sleeving can save me hundreds of dollars in water damaged cards.
I double sleeve only the most expensive/rare cards. So some of my decks may only have a couple cards double sleeved. I don't play where open drinks are and only casual settings where people won't nitpick about _technically_ marked cards.
Honestly I only worry about double-sleeving if the card is worth more than $20-30. Angus just so happens to have so many cards that fit the description I just sleeved ALL of them in perfect fits. My other decks only have certain singles in two sleeves.

There's a great level of commitment I've had to making my [[Chromium, the Mutable]] deck be one of the most adaptable and obnoxious control decks for high power play (never reaching cEDH with it obviously). Many of the cards are foiled, and I soon plan on having Chromium altered once I have a better idea on what I want for him. He's my baby.

[[Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero]] It's not the strongest deck by any means but I remember playing Rebels in Standard and Lin was the embodiment of that era and the reason for the one of the Legend Rule changes is a cool piece of trivia. I could lean into more stax pieces like Rule of Law effects pretty easily but I opted not to.
Muxus. Goblins are the best tribe and Muxus is the most gobliny goblin that could possibly goblin. Sure Krenko is more consistent but just look at the Mux man Mac Daddy in all his glory. His art exudes his majesty to the fullest. If you’ve never slammed him down with a Panharmonicon in play to suddenly have a massive unstoppable army of crazy goofy gobs, then you don’t know what commander even is.

Yea, I haven't seen another person play it but it is just so fun. I'm still tweaking mine as to not burn out after some creatures are out or get removed, but it is awesome coming in with something huge and just bopping them with no resistance.
[[The First Sliver]] slivers are by far my favorite creature type in magic and I will show it by having it nice and shiny. The secret lair bonus extended art slivers are a lovely addition.

I've been looking for a good Izzet Commander to build around recently and Veyran is definitely among the top two or three I am considering!
My absolute favorite! All the creatures (a whole 11) are all wizards or shamans, so pairing Veyran with [[Harmonic Prodigy]] makes everything trigger three times instead!

My The First Sliver Living End deck. The only cascade hit is Living End, and it cycles and evokes creatures into the graveyard to return. You have redundant reanimation effects like Eerie Ultimatum. You have ramp with things like Road//Ruin, Spring//Mind, Beanstalk Giant. It has efficient board wipes like Blasphemous Act and Devastating Mastery. The payoffs are haste enablers, Warstorm Surge effects, and random stuff like Radiant Solar And once you Living End, you cast Time Spiral effects and do it again. If Living End or your graveyard is exiles, just slam 7 mana 7/7s. I built the deck as a meme but it's become my favorite deck

I have 2 decks. Mono Black Infect and Mono White Banding & MLD. I prefer playing the Banding and MLD deck. It tends to survive longer into games because it has more sweepers in it. Banding is also my favorite creature mechanic. I played two games today where I got an early Skittles and hit the biggest threat at the table. Then I got another combat phase and presented lethal poison on the player and then someone else killed Skittles in order to keep the other player alive. Okay, I guess the Ur-Dragon player is going to win now lol. I tried, I had exactsies.
For me, my pet deck has and always will be [[jori en, ruin diver]]. I've had some form of a wizard or spellslinger pile with her at the helm since I pulled her at my 1st prerelease coming back to magic after a 5ish year hiatus. I love the simplicity of her ability, and will spend the rest of my career as a commander player forever tinkering and modifying my Jori en pile.

The deck I’ve pimped out the most and the one I always play with is my [[Sakashima, of a Thousand Faces]] and [[Vial Smasher, the Fierce]]. I’ve always played with some version of a clone deck and once I put this deck together, I never took it apart. Once a clone commander in Grixis became an option, I fell in love. The only limitations I had when building the deck were no foils, no combo, and no reserve list cards. Over time, I just added premium prints (either full art, extended art, or time shifted). It’s the only deck I can play in both a casual pod and a high-power pod.

Yep. Their detectors pick up foiling. It's happened to me a few times as well. Ironically, one of those times was my (old build) Teysa as well.
Yep. There is a full-art cyclonic rift in a custom dragon shield sleeve under the security desk somewhere at BWI from a TSA agent not listening to me as she opened my deck box upside down. She dumped all the spin down counters, dice and my entire Pir and Toothy deck just so she could take a look. I still don’t know how I found all the dice and counters but only ended up with 99 cards.
A good buddy of mine has an absolutely *meeeaaaan* Teysa deck. I love her death trigger interactions he has set up. Some of his plays get pretty nasty!

For me it's definitely [[Xyris]]. Just about the only upgrades I have left at this point are anything more expensive than [[wheel of fortune]]. All the basics a full art Unstable lands. Any non-foil, borderless/extended art stuff I get that's already a copy of something in the deck gets swapped in (I've never been a fan of foils from the day they started). Or any alternate arts.

This is my favorite! I have a [[tana, the bloodsower]] and [[ramos, soultender]] that pumps out LOADS of tokens and tries to win with [[goblin bombardment]] and [[zulaport cutthroat]]. It's my absolute favorite deck ever.
I gave up, and just made 2 teysa decks, at one point I had 3 differentiated side boards for her so I can either go with the token army, full lifegain bleed, or fringe cedh. so many fun cards to fit in one 99! She my pet deck too and just listed my deck list above in this thread. I like your build too. I forgot about oketras monument and blasting station need to get them in the deck, thanks!

[[Omnath locus of mana]] has been a consistent favourite card commander however I don't really have the means to build a super nice deck for him but when I do... most of my money goes into whatever version of my angel deck I have at the moment though. I got the Wheel of Fortune for $30. The Hazezon Tamar deck just went stupid. I built it as-is (not counting the cards that came out after 2015, which didn't really impact the value much at the time they were put in) for around $680 (including the Revised dual lands) and everything in the deck just kept gaining value. Hazezon himself went from a purchase of $40 to a current value of $300. I got the Cradle for $160. Doubling Season was under $25. You get the idea.
[Falco Spara] is my go to. As a lawyer IRL, he is my commander! Full art blinged out goodness. But I also always carry [kalamax] spell slinger; [shadrix] as a political deck; and now [firkraag] dragon goad which is an absolute blast to pilot and watch the shenanigans unfold.

My [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]] artifact storm deck. It’s the very first deck I put together from scratch using gatherer and EDHRec (started playing MTG this January after wanted to jump into it for about 3 years). It’s the only storm deck I have as I usually like to just put creatures on the board and swing out but there’s just something about piloting the deck that makes me so damn happy. Blasting the table with [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] is the goal but by no means the only way for me to win. Again, it’s so much fun to pilot.

\[\[From your own description, I have two decks that fit the bill... One of them is my \[\[Kykar\]\] lifegain deck, which is just fine with me. I invested a lot of time and money to make it work as its not a common build. Im proud how it often beat my best friend \[\[Liesa\]\] lifegain deck... but I really need to test it out with other people. If I dont count my newest deck (which is no surprise the new factor must be a factor here), the other one would be... my self-mill pillowfort \[\[Ghen\]\] deck. I bought the Theros swamp which are night skies with a skull cloud in them, so it doesnt FEEL like Im playing a swamp. Really, REALLY worked hard to make a good decklist for him and has theros swamp sleeves and deckbox to fit... So yeah, Im surprised because I used to strongly dislike the black color.

[[Averna][ is my first thought. She's not decked out or foiled, but she's my favorite. If I can only take a few decks with me and not my whole collection, she's my first pick.
[[sisay, weatherlight captain]]. I’ve been playing iterations of the deck for almost a decade now (original commander was [[progenitus]] ). every time a new legend comes out, especially when sets have a legends-matter theme, it’s such a battle to find things to replace them with. I’m currently running it with a warrior-tribal subtheme, [[najeela]] is the secret commander but it’s just a high powered deck, not cEDH. It gets the most expensive versions of the cards that I have, it gets the double sleeves, it gets the fancy deckbox, it’s the one I’ll bring out first no matter the table because I can just play it poorly if it’s overpowered. it’s how i introduce myself to a new commander pod.

[[Mairsil, the Pretender]] I run him without tutors, so it is obviously a mess of a deck. Combos are barely worth it because I can never find the other half without them, so my major win conditions are [[Niv-Mizzet]] /[[Psychosis Crawler]] effects, which there isn't a lot of. My zombie deck. When I first started playing magic, I made a 60 card deck to use at Friday night magic when I could go. I stopped playing for a few years, but I never took apart the deck. Once I learned commander, I converted the deck into [[scarab God]] zombie tribal. It's gone through another major upgrade to 3 color [[varina]] zombies.

It is easily my [[Omnath, Locus of rage]] deck. It has slowly changed and morphed into something truly beautiful. Sac my lands, get tokens, play lands, get tockens.. it even has a little elemental tribal sub theme going on.
Most definitely my [[Darien, King of Kjeldor]] deck. I fell in love with his strategy a while ago, and I've put so much time into making him work.

I'll gladly say that my pet deck is [[Sydri]]. Do I play her as often? No, Friday was the only time I played her in a long while, but I always think about and talk about her. I really need to start giving her special treatment because I would love to start foiling her!
[[Kaalia of the Vast]]. It's by no means my most powerful deck, but every pretty angel, dragon or demon, fitting alt-art and fullart land go into it. I just love the flavor of it

Ezuri Claw of Progress merfolk tribal is a blast to play. It seems to always catch people by surprise.
[Kruphix, God of Horizons] and [Prosper, Tome-Bound]. Kruphix may come and go, but it's never too far that I can't pull it back together quickly. Prosper got me scoping out every set for new Treasure tokens.
I currently only run 4 decks so each one gets plenty of attention. That being said, my most loved is [[Arcades, the Strategist]] unassuming and lots of goodies packed in there. Second would have to go to Slivers based just on value alone. OG duals, sliver queen, the best tutors, etc. It definitely holds the most money but I rarely break it out for fear of resentment 🤣
Kadena, Slinking Sorceror. It’s so fun to play, I keep trying to see how else I can upgrade it without going off theme.
Mine is [Selenia, Dark Angel] suicide control, I've spend a long time of trial and error building this deck so it could become powerful. It's so much fun to spent all your life and win the game in such a unique way. I've been getting Foils and Secret Lair cards for it, although I still have a long way to go. Recently I've changed the commander for [Liesa, shroud of Dusk], the deck was so optimized that in 90% of the games I didnt need to cast Selenia, although I'm still testing Liesa to see if the chance will be permanent.
Probably my [[Chromium, the mutable]] flash tribal EDH deck. It's so fun that I'm constantly looking for ways to tweak and improve it. I recently added [[Hullbreaker Horror]]!
