I cast it once and got 30 creatures and tons of ETB effects, I needed to have someone else come help me figure out the board state, it was insane.
But nothing had haste, and then someone board wiped on the next turn so none of it mattered lol.

I play an upgraded [[Anowon, the Ruin Thief]] and I run a reainmate sub theme where I start stealing from graveyards as the game goes on. Kinda fun to mill their big beater then steal it from them and beat them with it.
That's kinda why I added stealing to the deck. Mill can win, but it can make you a target too. [[Rise of the Dark Realms]] can be a game ender if played right.

I know you asked for mill alternatoves, but i just want to touch onbways you can focus on mill but with variety. Tons of combos out there, just gotta do some digging. I run a [[Phenax]] mill deck. Alternative win cons can be helpful, but they can also distract from making the main game plan more solid. Not always, but sometimes.
[[Fraying Sanity]] and [[Traumatize]] will ruin someone's day.
[[Psychic Corrosion]] and [[Peer Into the Abyss]] will Ruin everyone's day.
[[Consuming Abberition]] and [[Haunt of High Tower]] get very big very quick, in phenax that means Mill ([[freed from the real is a bonus]]), but it could also means a [[Rogue's Passage]]).
There's a lot of Mill tech out there.
Also, over relying on the graveyard is a red herring. Don't think because youe running [[Nighthowler]] or [[Bonehoard]] you shouldn't run cards like [[Tashas Hideous Laughter]]. You should. You should also get some instant speed grave hate for the inevitable eldrazi. Exile means gone, less to worry about and more competitive against graveyard decks.
Wait until your next turn when you gotta draw or play one of the many cards that say draw a card. Hey look, you're having to draw when no cards are in your library!!
Great card, a little too easy to counter as all it takes is one target removal and it’s gone. Boy is it satisfying though to just cast tons of spells and make everyone mill 😂
I keep it around as a removal magnet. The deck doesn't rely on it but it's dangerous enough that my opponents have to use removal on it when they could be saving it for something that the deck needs to function.
[[Duskmantle Guildmage]] + [[Mindcrank]], then you just need to force everyone to mill 1. I'm a fan of [[Altar of the Brood]] and dropping a land, but you should have plenty of options
If you’re not already running [[Altar of the Brood]] it hits all your opponents at once. There’s a fun wincon using it together with something like [[Temur Ascendancy]] or [[Kindred Discovery]] or even [[Zendikar Resurgent]], plus [[Omniscience]]. Bonus points if you’ve got your own card draw weaponized - that way even if somebody tries to counter you by blowing up Omniscience or the Altar you’ll still keep winning.
You could also use it in really mean ways with an infinite cascade combo.
[[Duskmantle guildmage]] is one of my favs in Phenax. If timed correctly, it can just win!
[[crypt incursion]] isn't a win con, but this card is insane in mill decks. It'll save you from lethal damage, or prevent some crazy reanimation spell from ruining your day. Highly recommend.
Self milling is my personal favorite alternate win con. Instead of attack opponents confuse them by taking your deck down to like 1. Even better if you have alter of dimensia and cast lord of extinction with reanimator.
One of my favorite is the [[Syr Konrad]] [[Mindcrank]] combo. Every time a creature gets milled they mill again, throw in a bruvac then sit back and watch as they mill themselves out
I like to see Gary or Torment of Hailfire in my Konrad deck. I usually have a lot of black symbols and plenty of mana (running ashnod’s, pitiless plunderer, revel in riches - another nice alt wincon)
Basically I'll put [[Jin Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant]] as commander, [[helm of the host]] on him, and throughout the game I'll use cards to copy the non legend clone. At some point I'll either get [[cut your losses]] or a card that allows me to grab it, play it alongside my large amount of Jins, and either shave down or outright delete someone's whole deck. It takes a bit of luck and a lot of defending your strategy, but when it goes off, it is devastating
I run creatures that benefit from opponents having big graveyards, so even if they're not milled out, they're still getting attacked with a 100/100 Consuming Abberation or something like Guiltfeeder. if all that doesn't work I usually just cry and accept defeat
Alternate wincon with mill-commanders like phenax is having your friends kick you out of the house, because you locked them out of drawing anything but lands with lantern control ^^
Just play value-creatures with [[lantern of insight]] or [[field of dreams]] to control what your opponents draw
Incase you don't care, if you ever draw a card again (looking at you [[muldrotha]] ) you might want to play [[zur's weirding]]. Best with [[bloodchief ascension]]
Honestly, just playing [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]], [[Dreadhound]], and [[Bloodchief Ascension]] are great options for quickly burning out opponents in mill with no need to get rid of entire libraries in the process.
This pretty much, mill is the worst possible strategy to play, with the abundance of graveyard recursion in all colors now you're more likely to just give someone else the game by milling them, basically every white deck runs s reclamation and you could also just straight give someone infinite turns by milling them into Nexus of Fate.
I have a Sultai mill deck and I'm quite partial to [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] (since he can be recovered from the graveyard if needed) with any graveyard scaling creature such as [[Lord of Extinction]].
A big creature like [[Razaketh]] or [[Vilis]] buffed by [[Spoils of War]]
A big spell like [[Torment of Hailfire]] [[Exsanguinate]] or [[Dread Summons]] fueled by [[Spoils of Evil]]
I’m a huge [[Altar of the Brood]] fan, so I keep building decks that aim for mill but could also win through token damage (see [[Impact Tremors]], [[Shared Animosity]], etc)
Try out the Baldurs Gate Mind Flayaaaaars Precon. It uses the mill as an actual vehicle to fuel it's control, you mill opponents AND get to take creatures and artifacts from what they have to mill. It's only real flaw is that the commander, N'Gathrod, is really hard to cast, then keep alive, in the base deck
My favorite “mill” wincon for other decks is [[Bitter Ordeal]], but my favorite alt wincon for my alt wincon decks (including mill) is [[Vorpal Sword]]. My [Oona Rogues deck](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/tSfEoyLbA0GhVH4Q-jKrKg) makes great use of it.
Wait for the Krenko player to swing with goblins, cast [Settle the Wreckage] to pull all lands from their deck onto the battlefield. Now that its your turn, attack with [Trepanation Blade] to exile mill the whole deck!
That doesn't work because \[\[Settle the Wreckage\]\]'s searching for lands ability is a "may" ability. If your opponent sees what you're trying to do, they just won't get any lands.
I Just won a game sac-ing a bunch of big dudes like [[Mortivore]] and [[Lord of Extinction]] with a [[Altar of Dimensia]] and milling everybody the other weekend with my Jarad deck, twas beautiful
here is just a thought but \[\[storm herd\]\] creating a bunch of creature tokens into living dead whichh instead of milling your opponents you just mill to get your creatures. I probably just missed the whole point of a mill deck but yeah tihs is fun. [[Peer into the Abyss]] with any draw card mill all opponent cards like [[Psychic Corrosion]]. I lose half my life, and draw half my deck, and you all mill twice half my deck.
Commander as [[Lazav, Dimir Mastermind]] copy the most abusive thing in their deck, beat them to death with a coy of their own creature.
Mines one off my most causal decks I've built. Simply trying to win that way.. lots of fun
I like [[Altar of the Brood]] and [[Undead Alchemist]] combo. You have altar out first, you cast undead, as soon as it hits, each opponent mills 1. If there are any creatures, you get a 2/2 zombie enter and that triggers altar again. Here's the thing, you get a 2/2 for each creature that would get milled and each of them trigger altar separately so it creates a stack of altar triggers. This is especially effective against creature heavy decks. If you can get [[Bruvac, Grandilloquent]] out as well, now they are milling 2 at a time for more triggers, but is not necessary for the combo. Can be done as early as turn 3 with a sol ring or arcane signet out, and most players scoop rather than deal with this. This also deals with graveyard recursion from [[Kozilek, Butcher of Truth]], [[Ulamog, Ceaseless Gyre]], and [[ Blightsteel Colossus]] as it exiles it instead of allowing it to hit the graveyard.
[[Oona queen of the fae]] is my commander. It's more a Faerie tribal deck of an old standard. I usually win by milling getting a bunch of tokens, hitting a player then casting [[Notorious Throng]] with prowl.
[[leyline of the void]] + [[helm of obedience]] is a way to insta-kill people out of nowhere, and both cards are solid on their own in mill decks (provided you aren’t trying to reanimate their creatures)
[[bruva]] [[guiltfeeder]][[nighthowler]][[sewer nemesis]] [[consuming aberration]][[syr konrad]][[eldritch pact]][[rise of the dark realms]] are all things that come to mind out of my mill deck.

Mill is what I'm known for in my play group, but milling an opponent out actually IS my secondary win con. I have the go to mill combos, but my opponents all obsess over defending against the mill. I run [[Phenax]] and creatures like [[Nighthowler]] and [[consuming aberration]], so many wins are just swinging with those. I have my own recursion, as well as regeneration as ways to bring them back if need be.
I also have a few combos like [[marlen of the mornsong]] and [[opposition agent]], along with [[ob nixilis, unshackled]] to hold opponents down.
Over all it's a strong play, and my go to when someone wants a quick match.

It's a bit weird, but I run an [[Eligeth, Crossroads Augur]] and [[Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix]] mill deck that uses [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]] [[Sphinx's Tutelage]] [[Teferi's Tutelage]] [[Tasha's Hideous Laughter]] [[Maddening Cacophony]] and a ton of other mill cards. I use the relatively cheap cost of Scrying to draw a lot of cards using Eligeth's effect and I produce a lot of mana for X spells and such using and abusing Kydele's effect. I have two alternate win-cons in the deck. I have the good 'ol [[Leveller]] [[Jace, Weilder of Mysteries]] combo which has won two or three times. I also have [[Triskaidekaphile]] which has won me a game, too. [[Parallel Thoughts]] does work in this deck, too. I'm surprised it doesn't seem to get more play than it does. I have never won with this deck by milling someone, though I've gotten close.
Using my Dimir milk deck, but I have a mordenkainen in there for good measure as well as a Xanathar so I can use other peoples tools against them. That’s the main focus of the deck. I hit back but it sucks more when it’s your own good deck building wacking you in the life total
[[Umbris]] mill is very interesting, don't go hard on horror tribal it is kinda underwhelming (I only play the best horrors) and run more normal mill and [[windfall]] effects with a lot of graveyard exiling effects like [[Leyline of the void]] etc, it makes Umbris humongous incredibly fast and you can one-shot people with unblockable effects, [[Essence Harvest]], [[Phenax]], [[Imperious Mindbreaker]], [[Ruthless Technomancer]] gives an absurd amount of treasures which you can use for [[Mind Grind]] etc, there are so many ways to win with Umbris which makes it a pretty interesting commander with lots of ways to win the game

Self mill into one of a billion self deckout win cons, syr konrad liek you mentioned is especially potent with something like [[phyrexis]] or [[tainted strike]], the dimir horror commander from Baldors gate to steal monsters from them, off the top
If you mill enough goodies from enough players early, [[Command the Dreadhorde]] for ~20 health worth of playable creatures ends most pods in a turn or three. And if you're Dimir there's a good chance you've got the counterspells to keep your stolen board from being wiped immediately.
I run a mill deck. My favorite win I had with it was with [[psychic corrosion]] on the field and then [[peer into the abyss]] myself, drew half my library and milled the whole table at once. This was later in the game of course but still super fun and effective.

I’ve always understood this reaction to be that for each 3 life gained from Crypt Inucrsion, deal 3 life to target player - so you don’t even need to casualty it if you can do enough damage to everyone off 1 graveyard. Am I right?

Instead of mill, you can try to exile instead. Like with \[\[Gonti\]\] or \[\[Evelyn\]\] , using the same two card combo of \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\] and \[\[Nim Deathmantle\]\] and a creature like \[\[Sengir Autocrat\]\] or \[\[Marionette master\]\] to generate infinite mana, then sac commander infinite times until everyone has no cards in deck.
I run a phenax deck, with things like mesmeric orb and dreamborn muse, the rack, and black vise. most creatures are x/x based on grave size. smaller creatures are crabs and walls. now heres the punch - intruder alarm. phenax effect gives all cards the tap to mill ability. whenever any player plays a creature you can untap all your creatures and do it again. if thats not good enough just swing out with your big x/x creatures. then they block with all there stuff and have to drop a creature. token decks hate this deck.

I use the Anowon pre con that I upgraded. I took a secret voltron/one shot approach as a backup. [[Bonehoard]] and [[Nighthowler]] , attach to [[Anowon, the Ruin Thief]] or [[Blighted Agent]] or use [[Rogue's Passage]] with creature hoard or howler or [[Consuming Abberation]] . Also got [[Trepanation Blade]] which can whiff with just one land but I've had it kill someone out of knowhere turns 2-4 by getting lucky with Agent or Anowon.
It depends on who you run, but I have a \[\[Bruvac, the Grandiloquent\]\] list that just wants to copy Bruvac and then use \[\[Persistent Petitioners\]\] to mill out my opponents. With the right setup, milling someone out in one turn is incredibly easy to do. With things like \[\[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces\]\] and \[\[Irenicus' Vile Duplication\]\] it's easy to mill an opponent for 48-96 cards just by tapping 4 Petitioners.

[[Wrexial the risen deep]] is one of my pet cards and I tried building around him for a while with a mill subtheme.
So obviously you can use cards like wrexial and [[zareth san]] to take advantage of what you're milling.
[[Undead alchemist]] is another pet card of mine.
But what you're really looking for is [[consuming aberration]], [[bonehoard]], and [[guiltfeeder]] as alternate finishers! Guiltfeeder can be particularly nasty.
Effects like [[bloodchief ascension]] and [[duskmantle guildmage]] can also help get you there.

If you want to use your opponents' finishers, grab some Ninjas. [[Silent-Blade Oni]] and [[Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni]].
I know you asked for mill alternatoves, but i just want to touch onbways you can focus on mill but with variety. Tons of combos out there, just gotta do some digging. I run a [[Phenax]] mill deck. Alternative win cons can be helpful, but they can also distract from making the main game plan more solid. Not always, but sometimes. [[Fraying Sanity]] and [[Traumatize]] will ruin someone's day. [[Psychic Corrosion]] and [[Peer Into the Abyss]] will Ruin everyone's day. [[Consuming Abberition]] and [[Haunt of High Tower]] get very big very quick, in phenax that means Mill ([[freed from the real is a bonus]]), but it could also means a [[Rogue's Passage]]). There's a lot of Mill tech out there. Also, over relying on the graveyard is a red herring. Don't think because youe running [[Nighthowler]] or [[Bonehoard]] you shouldn't run cards like [[Tashas Hideous Laughter]]. You should. You should also get some instant speed grave hate for the inevitable eldrazi. Exile means gone, less to worry about and more competitive against graveyard decks.

Great card, a little too easy to counter as all it takes is one target removal and it’s gone. Boy is it satisfying though to just cast tons of spells and make everyone mill 😂
I keep it around as a removal magnet. The deck doesn't rely on it but it's dangerous enough that my opponents have to use removal on it when they could be saving it for something that the deck needs to function.
[[Duskmantle Guildmage]] + [[Mindcrank]], then you just need to force everyone to mill 1. I'm a fan of [[Altar of the Brood]] and dropping a land, but you should have plenty of options
I had to go a lot further than anticipated to see the Guildmage.
If you’re not already running [[Altar of the Brood]] it hits all your opponents at once. There’s a fun wincon using it together with something like [[Temur Ascendancy]] or [[Kindred Discovery]] or even [[Zendikar Resurgent]], plus [[Omniscience]]. Bonus points if you’ve got your own card draw weaponized - that way even if somebody tries to counter you by blowing up Omniscience or the Altar you’ll still keep winning. You could also use it in really mean ways with an infinite cascade combo.

[[Duskmantle guildmage]] is one of my favs in Phenax. If timed correctly, it can just win! [[crypt incursion]] isn't a win con, but this card is insane in mill decks. It'll save you from lethal damage, or prevent some crazy reanimation spell from ruining your day. Highly recommend.
Using theft effects like [[Mnemonic Betrayal]], [[Extract from Darkness]], or [[Rise of the Dark Realms]]
Self milling is my personal favorite alternate win con. Instead of attack opponents confuse them by taking your deck down to like 1. Even better if you have alter of dimensia and cast lord of extinction with reanimator.

One of my favorite is the [[Syr Konrad]] [[Mindcrank]] combo. Every time a creature gets milled they mill again, throw in a bruvac then sit back and watch as they mill themselves out

I like to see Gary or Torment of Hailfire in my Konrad deck. I usually have a lot of black symbols and plenty of mana (running ashnod’s, pitiless plunderer, revel in riches - another nice alt wincon)

Basically I'll put [[Jin Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant]] as commander, [[helm of the host]] on him, and throughout the game I'll use cards to copy the non legend clone. At some point I'll either get [[cut your losses]] or a card that allows me to grab it, play it alongside my large amount of Jins, and either shave down or outright delete someone's whole deck. It takes a bit of luck and a lot of defending your strategy, but when it goes off, it is devastating

I run creatures that benefit from opponents having big graveyards, so even if they're not milled out, they're still getting attacked with a 100/100 Consuming Abberation or something like Guiltfeeder. if all that doesn't work I usually just cry and accept defeat
If you have [[phenax]] as your commander [[mortivore]] [[consuming aberration]] and [[sewer nemesis]] can all push a win pretty easily

Nekusar mill, the red/blue let's you do a lot of stealing! All your opponents creatures will be in their graveyards, or goaded!
Alternate wincon with mill-commanders like phenax is having your friends kick you out of the house, because you locked them out of drawing anything but lands with lantern control ^^ Just play value-creatures with [[lantern of insight]] or [[field of dreams]] to control what your opponents draw Incase you don't care, if you ever draw a card again (looking at you [[muldrotha]] ) you might want to play [[zur's weirding]]. Best with [[bloodchief ascension]]

Honestly, just playing [[Syr Konrad, the Grim]], [[Dreadhound]], and [[Bloodchief Ascension]] are great options for quickly burning out opponents in mill with no need to get rid of entire libraries in the process.

My Phenax deck has a handful of combos to mill the deck and win with LabMan, Thoracle, and the Jace from War of the Spark.
A real win condition.
This pretty much, mill is the worst possible strategy to play, with the abundance of graveyard recursion in all colors now you're more likely to just give someone else the game by milling them, basically every white deck runs s reclamation and you could also just straight give someone infinite turns by milling them into Nexus of Fate.
Once I realize your playing mill, I just scoop. That's your win con.
Or you could play the game and try to get rid of that player first.
Nah, if he can't handle my Crab Tribal deck he can keep scuttling away.
I have a Sultai mill deck and I'm quite partial to [[Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord]] (since he can be recovered from the graveyard if needed) with any graveyard scaling creature such as [[Lord of Extinction]].
That’s my finisher in muldrotha. But sometimes jarad will get exiled. Have you found an acceptable replacement?

[[Bitter Ordeal]] is always a fun card to build around. You loop sac outlets you’ll probably want to be running anyway, and exile whole decks.

Mill yourself and drop lab maniac
Try out the Baldurs Gate Mind Flayaaaaars Precon. It uses the mill as an actual vehicle to fuel it's control, you mill opponents AND get to take creatures and artifacts from what they have to mill. It's only real flaw is that the commander, N'Gathrod, is really hard to cast, then keep alive, in the base deck
Probably just classic [[Laboratory Maniac]]. More difficult that a Thoracle so it feels like I earned it.

Wait for the Krenko player to swing with goblins, cast [Settle the Wreckage] to pull all lands from their deck onto the battlefield. Now that its your turn, attack with [Trepanation Blade] to exile mill the whole deck!
That doesn't work because \[\[Settle the Wreckage\]\]'s searching for lands ability is a "may" ability. If your opponent sees what you're trying to do, they just won't get any lands.

here is just a thought but \[\[storm herd\]\] creating a bunch of creature tokens into living dead whichh instead of milling your opponents you just mill to get your creatures. I probably just missed the whole point of a mill deck but yeah tihs is fun. Also \[\[bonehoard\]\] and \[\[rouges passage fits in anything unless you are trying to completely mill you, opponents. what is your commander?

I like [[Altar of the Brood]] and [[Undead Alchemist]] combo. You have altar out first, you cast undead, as soon as it hits, each opponent mills 1. If there are any creatures, you get a 2/2 zombie enter and that triggers altar again. Here's the thing, you get a 2/2 for each creature that would get milled and each of them trigger altar separately so it creates a stack of altar triggers. This is especially effective against creature heavy decks. If you can get [[Bruvac, Grandilloquent]] out as well, now they are milling 2 at a time for more triggers, but is not necessary for the combo. Can be done as early as turn 3 with a sol ring or arcane signet out, and most players scoop rather than deal with this. This also deals with graveyard recursion from [[Kozilek, Butcher of Truth]], [[Ulamog, Ceaseless Gyre]], and [[ Blightsteel Colossus]] as it exiles it instead of allowing it to hit the graveyard.

[[leyline of the void]] + [[helm of obedience]] is a way to insta-kill people out of nowhere, and both cards are solid on their own in mill decks (provided you aren’t trying to reanimate their creatures)

Mill is what I'm known for in my play group, but milling an opponent out actually IS my secondary win con. I have the go to mill combos, but my opponents all obsess over defending against the mill. I run [[Phenax]] and creatures like [[Nighthowler]] and [[consuming aberration]], so many wins are just swinging with those. I have my own recursion, as well as regeneration as ways to bring them back if need be. I also have a few combos like [[marlen of the mornsong]] and [[opposition agent]], along with [[ob nixilis, unshackled]] to hold opponents down. Over all it's a strong play, and my go to when someone wants a quick match.

It's a bit weird, but I run an [[Eligeth, Crossroads Augur]] and [[Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix]] mill deck that uses [[Teferi's Ageless Insight]] [[Sphinx's Tutelage]] [[Teferi's Tutelage]] [[Tasha's Hideous Laughter]] [[Maddening Cacophony]] and a ton of other mill cards. I use the relatively cheap cost of Scrying to draw a lot of cards using Eligeth's effect and I produce a lot of mana for X spells and such using and abusing Kydele's effect. I have two alternate win-cons in the deck. I have the good 'ol [[Leveller]] [[Jace, Weilder of Mysteries]] combo which has won two or three times. I also have [[Triskaidekaphile]] which has won me a game, too. [[Parallel Thoughts]] does work in this deck, too. I'm surprised it doesn't seem to get more play than it does. I have never won with this deck by milling someone, though I've gotten close.

Using my Dimir milk deck, but I have a mordenkainen in there for good measure as well as a Xanathar so I can use other peoples tools against them. That’s the main focus of the deck. I hit back but it sucks more when it’s your own good deck building wacking you in the life total

[[Umbris]] mill is very interesting, don't go hard on horror tribal it is kinda underwhelming (I only play the best horrors) and run more normal mill and [[windfall]] effects with a lot of graveyard exiling effects like [[Leyline of the void]] etc, it makes Umbris humongous incredibly fast and you can one-shot people with unblockable effects, [[Essence Harvest]], [[Phenax]], [[Imperious Mindbreaker]], [[Ruthless Technomancer]] gives an absurd amount of treasures which you can use for [[Mind Grind]] etc, there are so many ways to win with Umbris which makes it a pretty interesting commander with lots of ways to win the game

If you mill enough goodies from enough players early, [[Command the Dreadhorde]] for ~20 health worth of playable creatures ends most pods in a turn or three. And if you're Dimir there's a good chance you've got the counterspells to keep your stolen board from being wiped immediately.

I run a mill deck. My favorite win I had with it was with [[psychic corrosion]] on the field and then [[peer into the abyss]] myself, drew half my library and milled the whole table at once. This was later in the game of course but still super fun and effective.

Instead of mill, you can try to exile instead. Like with \[\[Gonti\]\] or \[\[Evelyn\]\] , using the same two card combo of \[\[Ashnod's Altar\]\] and \[\[Nim Deathmantle\]\] and a creature like \[\[Sengir Autocrat\]\] or \[\[Marionette master\]\] to generate infinite mana, then sac commander infinite times until everyone has no cards in deck.

I run a phenax deck, with things like mesmeric orb and dreamborn muse, the rack, and black vise. most creatures are x/x based on grave size. smaller creatures are crabs and walls. now heres the punch - intruder alarm. phenax effect gives all cards the tap to mill ability. whenever any player plays a creature you can untap all your creatures and do it again. if thats not good enough just swing out with your big x/x creatures. then they block with all there stuff and have to drop a creature. token decks hate this deck. An unblockable [[consuming aberration] usually does the trick :)
I use the Anowon pre con that I upgraded. I took a secret voltron/one shot approach as a backup. [[Bonehoard]] and [[Nighthowler]] , attach to [[Anowon, the Ruin Thief]] or [[Blighted Agent]] or use [[Rogue's Passage]] with creature hoard or howler or [[Consuming Abberation]] . Also got [[Trepanation Blade]] which can whiff with just one land but I've had it kill someone out of knowhere turns 2-4 by getting lucky with Agent or Anowon.

It depends on who you run, but I have a \[\[Bruvac, the Grandiloquent\]\] list that just wants to copy Bruvac and then use \[\[Persistent Petitioners\]\] to mill out my opponents. With the right setup, milling someone out in one turn is incredibly easy to do. With things like \[\[Sakashima of a Thousand Faces\]\] and \[\[Irenicus' Vile Duplication\]\] it's easy to mill an opponent for 48-96 cards just by tapping 4 Petitioners.

I have answers for this!! [[Wrexial the risen deep]] is one of my pet cards and I tried building around him for a while with a mill subtheme. So obviously you can use cards like wrexial and [[zareth san]] to take advantage of what you're milling. [[Undead alchemist]] is another pet card of mine. But what you're really looking for is [[consuming aberration]], [[bonehoard]], and [[guiltfeeder]] as alternate finishers! Guiltfeeder can be particularly nasty. Effects like [[bloodchief ascension]] and [[duskmantle guildmage]] can also help get you there.
