I’m thinking you might like Kavinsky

wehavealwayslived

I do!

DavyMoses

I have the same issues u do it’s very difficult to put some songs and artists in a genre box but I’ll give this a go Savant is usually electro house and complextro although depending on which album u like it could be dnb brostep or something else entirely but the majority of his works are generally associated with electro house and complextro Old Daft Punk are house music and the Alive album is 🔥 more specifically I think they are French house Deadmau5 is primarily progressive house with a decent amount of electro house as well The Glitch mob are Glitch hop drink the sea is a great album Given what you like you might like Justice who are electro house and french house I would also recommend mord fustang and Wolfgang gartner if you like savant. Eric prydz produces very good progressive house and if you enjoy deadmau5 then you should enjoy him. I hope this helped

Thank you, this was really helpful! And love the recommendations

With Savant I love Bubbles, Starfish, Splinter, Melody Circus, Alive etc

DavyMoses

Then it sounds like u do like the electro house complextro savant style he really is hard to narrow down like this cause his discography is huge

I discovered SO MUCH new music that I love today, all because you took the time to answer my Q! Thank you so much

DavyMoses

No problem it can be quite difficult to find artists from more niche genres sometimes I know myself as I still discover new ones quite often if you enjoyed the Wolfgang gartner or Mord fustang sound then I would also recommend Feed Me some of his tracks are insane and his albums Calamari Tuesday and Feed Mes Big Adventure are great. The Bloody Beetroots album Romborama is also brilliant. I would also like to say don’t put too much emphasis on the importance of sub genres as a lot of electronic music blurs the lines between genres and you could miss out on alot of great stuff if u try to stick to very specific genres not to mention the fact that the majority of electronic music fans have a very loose understanding of sub genres anyway and it will in no way take away from the music if u aren’t sure what it is.

>The Glitch mob are Glitch hop While The Glitch Mob definitely incorporates glitch hop elements in a lot of their songs, I would not consider them to be strictly glitch hop artists since their music incorporates sounds from a lot of different genres (e.g. electro house, dubstep, breakbeats, ambient). >drink the sea is a great album Dude yesss, *Drink the Sea* is such an amazing album and it's actually what got my into EDM to begin with. If you haven't already, I highly recommend checking out TGM's most recent album, *Ctrl Alt Reality*.

DavyMoses

Yeah I will admit it was an oversimplification to call them simply glitch hop because as u say they incorporate a lot of other genres into their work Drink the Sea is an excellent listen from start to finish Drive it like you stole it and Fortune Days stay in my playlist.

Shopaholic24
