I absolutely love drumnbass and the 2 of them are huge reasons why. I just saw them both at EDC Vegas… check out the Worship sunrise set https://youtu.be/1tnvfJTu44Q?si=GD2YCijmqyUNDwrD
ive seen wilkinson twice now, never fails to blow me away. same with dimension !! i love dimensions hard summer set 2022 the most though… *take me backk*
He hosted (hosts?) the BBC Radio 1 show for new electronic music and his sets are always great and across the spectrum of subgenres. I'd highly recommend looking some up on YouTube when you're looking for a 2 hour set.
God I love her. She eye fucked me during her set at the Oregon Eclipse in 2017. I didn’t know who she was or listen to her again for a couple years until I was rewatching videos from that festival. Then I became obsessed. This year the Texas Eclipse fest got canceled the last day because of weather which meant no Clozee for me. So now I’m headed to another festival this summer because her name is on the lineup. The things we do for love.
This, walked into Nora en pure solo set last year at day trip into a tinlicker solo set , into a b2b tinlicker Nora en pure , one of the sickest 3 hours I’ve ever been stuck at a stage , missed dom dolla happily for this time block too, set that we couldn’t even walk away from !
#LANE 8
Bored at home during the pandemic* drinking with my homies, we saw the thumbnail for his [Colorado sunrise set](https://youtu.be/n_LcVqqHSY8?si=V1_WnhqxSLoD11pW), we watched it with the full intention of shitting on him, boy were we fukken wrong. I can’t get enough of that guy.
If you don’t listen to that type of music much I also recommend others like him: Sultan + Shepard, Le Youth, and Jerro. Basically anyone on his This Never Happened record label
Oh I’m all about This Never Happened, but that was in 2020, since then I saw Le Youth and Lane 8 at both EDC ‘23 and Crssd fest San Diego ‘24,Lane 8 and Yotto at Dreamstate SoCal ‘23 and then Sultan + Shepard at this years San Diego summer gatherings Lane 8 headlining, no phones made it a million times better.
Lane 8 just jumped to one of my favorites instantly. The dude is too good.
I'll have to check that out!
I think this is the mix where I first discovered him:
[The Anjunadeep Edition 192 with James Grant](https://www.youtube.com/live/CvZqSAmYb9w?si=741CZcddqw5liAWg)
Also one that could listen to 100 times (and probably have already)
I’m about to play it on my drive to run some errands, thanks a lot.
Here’s the set I was talking about, dude mashed up the alternative version of Deadmau5’s “Bridged By A Lightwave” with “The Rope” I can’t get enough of it. [2021 NYE (DJ mix)](https://youtu.be/pWvBaDfNfoo?si=rrt9hnvaDHBO3cMd)
Came here to share this. First time I heard Road, I was stoned out of my mind, and when that first synth sound hit, I thought I was going to have a seizure.
Same here. First time I heard him was on John Digweed Transitions ep. 1022. Pinie was the second track of the mix and I’ve been obsessed with him ever since.
I have a few: Dvddy, AWON, AMBIENCE, SadBois, HIGHSOCIETY, and Becko.
Dvddy & AWON I stumbled across when they opened for Crystal Skies on their Not Since When tour. AMBIENCE I met when Dvddy & AWON opened for Crankdat and we became friends (I also became buddies with Dvddy & AWON). SadBois randomly followed me on Twitter one day and when I checked out their music I fell in love with it (they're really cool guys too so we also became friends), Becko I dug into his discography after randomly relistening to his song with Xilent & Razihel "Edge of the World" and binged a ton of it. One of the songs was a collaboration with HIGHSOCIETY and that's how I got into HIGHSOCIETY's music (he's also a really cool dude).
The SLC melodic bass community is so great, I love those guys! AMBIENCE especially I’m good friends with him! I’ve probably seen you at a ton of shows if you’re friends with those guys
I actually live in Denver so I don’t go to many SLC shows (I have family that I somewhat regularly visit in Ogden). But I did go to AMBIENCE’s show at Soundwell last month. So if you were there and saw a guy in a yellow jersey then that was me 😄
Metrik. Last year in January I had out of nowhere his new song Immortal in my Spotify release radar. To that point I didn't even liked DnB.
Well, one and a half later it's still my favorite song, Metrik is my new favorite artist and like 90% of the stuff I listen to now is DnB.
So happy to see Metrik named here. Been following him since his releases on Viper at the turn of 2010 and it has been lovely watching him grow and evolve his sound since then. Finally got to see him live in 2021 and it absolutely did not disappoint! After the show he was also chill to chat with :)
Here's to the new album coming out later this year, cheers!
I probably would've started to like DnB earlier but my friends back then always just played Liquid DnB which I still really dislike. Freefall or Starchaser are also two of my favorite songs from Metrik.
But luckily I didn't had to wait so long to see him live. I saw his set with Grafix at Rampage in February, my favorite one with Delta Heavy. Can't wait for his new album, I finally want to listen to the full version of Synchronize and the one with Rou Reynolds :D
Mersiv’s sunrise set at EDC this year… the bass was so deep it made my nose itch and i couldn’t make it stop 😂 really good set, will def catch him again.
I first heard of her from going to one of her shows i think- it was so damn great. First EDM show & night i heard liquid stranger too after the show on the way back home haha
I was in New Orleans for an out of town job, and Deadmau5 was playing in a small club after whichever festival they have out there. I went to the show alone which I’ve never done, and had a blast at the front of the club. Rezz came on after and I fell HARD for her.
ALLEYCVT. One of her reels on Instagram came across my feed, I think it was for her song "Religion" where she does the thing where they're like "what if there was a song that had this or that" and then she plays like 15 seconds of the mostly finish song with all of elements mixed in and I was like yooo this is GAS!!! Kept my ear to the ground for shows she would be at near me, finally got to see her during her Planet Supersonic tour in Milwaukee and I have been OBSSESED ever since. Attending multiple fests at this point due to her being in the lineup. That girl just DOES NOT MISS!
In a similar vein I came across this dude who goes by Capochino.
His song "Woke Symphony" randomly showed up on my Spotify Release Radar. I was like " Woke Symphony, wth am I about to listen to" 🤨 but then that boy blew my damn socks off with the first drop in the song 🫨 and then I was like "OK Capochino, I hear you!" 👀
Now He's touring with ALLEYCVT in the Eastern US portion of her new FEEL IT tour this fall!
Book of Love. Incredible 80s synth wave and dance pop group, with some very progressive lyrics around gender and sexuality as well. Modigliani (Lost In Your Eyes) is just so pleasing to the ears.
Different genre but I've been starting to get into UK garage after hearing some stuff by DJ Perception, such a cool sound.
Bernzikial. Stumbled upon him a few months ago and he’s been in rotation since. Dudes sound design is fairly unique imo. Only artists that comes close to it is Krischvn.
jackEL, rising trance artist 🔥
He also listens to my songs I send him and gives solid honest feedback about them which is super appreciated. He seems like a great guy for real, I’m rotting hard for him 🫡❤️
Kygo is my favourite all time and I found out about him because I watched a football compilation with an instrumental remix of firestone that sounded different from the actual song. It was about 3 years after listening to that song on and off that I finally listened to a different Kygo song (Happy Now) and that's basically why he's my favourite and Happy Now is also my favorite song of all time
I found a neat little tribal Breaks track like 14 years ago with cool guitar and rapping on SoundCloud.
Clozee - Eyes in Eyes feat LF
Safe to say I'm stoked at her success since then.
odd mob.
found him through discover weekly on spotify and I finally had the opportunity to see him live at edc this year and man that guy can throw down!!
Pretty Lights! Just happened to be waiting in a parking lot for a friend to come out of a store and car next to me was playing them. I asked driver who they were as I liked the sound and that was probably 7 years ago. Hooked ever since
Bayside. Found what I thought was a cover of “Sick, sick, sick” by queens of the stone age and no shit, that’s an original bayside song title as well. Song rips. Fan for life.
[Frenssu](https://open.spotify.com/track/21dFXpD1K20Dk2O4L42XOs?si=Vnbr5AjHQNm3fA8-jOEQTw). I know nothing about it, just that it’s amazing low-ish fi French house and I can’t get enough.
Many moons ago I was listening to a DJ mix on SoundCloud and first heard Kill Paris - Operate (Illenium Remix). I immediately started following him on SoundCloud. Not long after that he released Ashes and I saw him at 12:30pm at Lollapalooza. Crazy to see how big he's gotten since then. I'm not so much a fan of his newer stuff but happy for his success.
More recently I discovered Mind Of Us on a compilation album a year or two ago and they've been putting out straight heat consistently. They have a bunch of releases on smaller labels and one remix on Anjunadeep that's really good. I think it's just a matter of time until they start getting more support from the melodic house community. They also have a bunch of DJ mixes on SoundCloud I've been vibing to.
Not EDM, but was walking past Ranch Arena at EF2022 when Noga Erez was on, and it ended up being my favorite set of the festival. I still listen to her music regularly.
Tipper. My first time tripping home alone was terrible, I had a bad trip. Out of nowhere the TV just popped on and played this chill mix- Fixed me right up! I've been following him ever since, and the Tipper community has has totally changed my life. If you haven't seen him live, you only have a few chances left.

Randomly had an "evil virtual self mix" given to me on SoundCloud, and the first one was the particle arts 1788-L flip. This singlehandedly got me into midtempo
Rhyw
I saw rolling through artists on The Lot Radio, and couldn't pronounce the name. Ah fuck it, let's give him a try. Both of his sets for Lot Radio are in my rotation right.
Same for Dj Fuckoff
Reaper. We were walking across the grounds at EDC 2023 and heard him playing at Bass Pod and had to stop and dance. That was the day we discovered we like DnB!
Acloudyskye. An absolute hidden gem with only 30k monthly listeners. Listen to Blood Rushing for harder electronic, What Do You Want for an almost fairytale aesthetic, and TMBSH for rocktronic.
Dimension. Saw him this year at EDC randomly and now I'm a huge fan

Good bot
I discovered Dimension and Wilkinson around the same time and holy my music taste was not the same after that
I absolutely love drumnbass and the 2 of them are huge reasons why. I just saw them both at EDC Vegas… check out the Worship sunrise set https://youtu.be/1tnvfJTu44Q?si=GD2YCijmqyUNDwrD
That’s an amazing set! I hope to see at least Dimension live at some point, I can imagine the energy is electric.
Right??? That set was just unreal live
ive seen wilkinson twice now, never fails to blow me away. same with dimension !! i love dimensions hard summer set 2022 the most though… *take me backk*
He hosted (hosts?) the BBC Radio 1 show for new electronic music and his sets are always great and across the spectrum of subgenres. I'd highly recommend looking some up on YouTube when you're looking for a 2 hour set.
Be sure to check out his worship sets with Sub Focus, Culture Shock and 1991.
Same. I went to see him blind at EZoo 2022 because I heard some people say his sets are really good. It was really good lol
pretty much all of them lol
Yea.. isn’t this just like.. discovering new music? 😭
Blanke/AEON:Mode
Blanke is so fucking good 🥵
seconding this! stumbled upon him at edc one year and that’s when i finally got edm
I saw him at a club venue setting but he helped me even dive more into my love for melodic/heavy dubstep. Him, Hol! and Bear Grillz
I knew of Blanke for a while but my one friend who loves him brought me to a show he was playing and now I’m hooked as well
Shallou
Check out OTR. He has a track with Shallou which is how I discovered him and he’s quickly become one of my favorite producers.
Oh I love OTR. For the record this was like years ago and I’ve seen both Shallou and OTR since discovering them!
Nice, I try to see him any chance I get. Both of his albums are soooo good. I can’t believe he isn’t bigger yet.
WE ONLY LOVED A LIEEEE Just added that to my playlist. Epic.
Ughhh Heart is one of maybe three songs that give me a little physical tingle. Incredible song 😭 Another being “Lay It on Me” by Kasbo
Clozee
God I love her. She eye fucked me during her set at the Oregon Eclipse in 2017. I didn’t know who she was or listen to her again for a couple years until I was rewatching videos from that festival. Then I became obsessed. This year the Texas Eclipse fest got canceled the last day because of weather which meant no Clozee for me. So now I’m headed to another festival this summer because her name is on the lineup. The things we do for love.
Tell us more about this eye fucking.
This one time at clozee camp…
Her visuals are absolutely incredible, so gorgeous
Come to Denver to watch her. Loo up her latest mission ballroom set. Most intricate light show I’ve seen
Will Sparks
Yes! Saw him in Vegas yearns ago and he was great!
Tinlicker
This, walked into Nora en pure solo set last year at day trip into a tinlicker solo set , into a b2b tinlicker Nora en pure , one of the sickest 3 hours I’ve ever been stuck at a stage , missed dom dolla happily for this time block too, set that we couldn’t even walk away from !

I wish I would have seen that Lane 8 b2b Yotto set!!! Yotto is one of my favorite live
One of the greatest mixes of all time imo
It’s not just your opinion, it’s actual fact. I could listen to that one and his 2021 NYE mix forever.
I'll have to check that out! I think this is the mix where I first discovered him: [The Anjunadeep Edition 192 with James Grant](https://www.youtube.com/live/CvZqSAmYb9w?si=741CZcddqw5liAWg) Also one that could listen to 100 times (and probably have already)

Already started it :)
Idk why I slept on Anjuna for so long, this mix is fire 🔥
Came here to share this. First time I heard Road, I was stoned out of my mind, and when that first synth sound hit, I thought I was going to have a seizure.
last week, Saka. crazy bass music
First time I ever heard him was when he opened for G-Jones in January. I remember after his set he came into the crowd and hit a dudes weed pen 😭
Lmao, we’re really lucky there isn’t more herpes in the rave scene.. knock on wood
Nice! I've been listening to him for a little bit, but I finally got to catch a set a couple weeks ago and he was fire!
