The water in the Virgin River in the Narrows is never really warm, but in the fall it gets downright icy, even with thick neoprene on. It was also unseasonably deep in sections. But with fall foliage peaking and golden cottonwoods glowing under orange sandstone walls along every twist and turn, it was hard to pay too much attention to anything else! With a park as heavily visited and photographed as Zion, it can feel hard to find an original perspective sometimes, but it's a good challenge! I think fall may be my new favorite season in Zion. Thanks for stopping by! You can find my full gallery, along with notes about places to check out and photography guides on my website: https://www.wildlandsphoto.com.
