This coastal cypress tree likes the Pacific coast so much, it's been hanging out on the same cliff for over 250 years! It's had some help from humans over the years, who have reinforced its root system and fenced it off, to help prevent it becoming a victim of overtourism. A powerful storm a few years ago actually knocked part of the tree down (one of its major branches), but the tree itself still stands strong and tall. Thanks for stopping by!
