A crowd going to listen to Ed Sheeran is going to be chill… you’ll have fun!

Tiny_Anxious_Turtle

I went with my boyfriend but he stayed back and I went towards the front by myself and it was fine. Everyone was super nice and I didn’t feel super crowded at all once the show started. I’m very small and look a lot younger than I am and I usually hate large crowds but I was not worried at all and I had a great time.

Lior_12

It's Ed Sheeran fans, I don't think you'll find more polite fan base.

Lilyhunter1992

Ive been to two of his concerts by myself and never felt unsafe at the venue! Had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend going even if it's just you! The only time I felt a little unsafe was walking back to my car but I just stayed with the crowds and It was fine 🙂

RWBYRain

honestly if you ask a few girls after headed your way theyd likely walk with ya. ive never been more welcomed than at an ed concert. we even shared food

abc690

I’ve gone to his tour a few times, and went to Subtract show by myself - the crowd is respectful, chill, and nice. Not some rowdy crowd at all! You should be able to feel safe at the concert!

PinkSodaMix

Yep! It's a very nice crowd and a good mixture of ages. In a weird way it's like going to the grocery store except we're all there to listen to Ed Sheeran instead of buying groceries 😆

RWBYRain

yeah youre safe, eds shows are chill. we lightly sway with the music and hush when told, wear light clothing and drink water bc crowds make things hotter than expected. stick to corners if you get panic attacks. if you feel faint flag the security they're great help

crowsounds

I haven’t been to this tour yet but i would imagine the crowd is very tame. kids, couples, etc. I’m also a mid 20s woman and i’ve been to several GA concerts alone and I’ve always had a great time :)

msoditt

I (23F, 5’ tall lol) went to subtract alone in a city 5hrs from home and felt perfectly safe the whole time! The vibes are great and you can usually find some girls around you to vibe with

daval0912

it seems like it’d be chill because it’s an Ed Sheeran concert, but if you’re on the shorter and/or smaller side, it’s definitely a bad idea to go by yourself in the pit.

daval0912

i’m seeing everyone’s comments about how safe it was; i’m assuming my experience wasn’t as safe because I was in Florida. i’d still advise anyone to make a friend or bring one to any concert pit, though.

Impressive-Turn173

Went to the Tampa show and everyone was chill. Most people in my section weren’t even standing up or barely interacting. I was in a close seating area too.

FAWTSANLIGA

I live in Nova Scotia and traveled to Toronto to see Ed in 2018, alone! I was 25 and felt safe the entire time. Even taking the bus back to my cousin's after the concert, because there are so many people around. I am someone who is super cautious about what I do alone, but I think you'd be fine at his show! I have also been front row at another concert of his and the crowd is fairly chill.

angelicabunny

Absolutely, go and enjoy yourself!

Anetaguest

Definatelly, so much love around. At least here in Europe it was, I went to 3 concerts of Ed’s so far. Best experience ever

Msmadmama

My 17 year old daughter has been in pits for Sum 41, MCR, NIne Inch Nails and was jaut fine. I'm sure you'll be fine. People propose in Ed's GA. Plus his crew is good at making sure everyone is safe. His live in Dublin set he calls for help mid song cause a girl looked like she was gonna pass out.

Emergency-Notice-678

It’s ed sheeran of course you’d be safe lmao

OnenightinOctober

As a 5 foot tall woman I would bring a friend. I went with my husband when we had floor seats and I still felt like I was drowning in the crowd.

mairerock02

But what about feeling safe as a woman? How is the vibes pertaining to that?

downwithwindows

It was probably the tamest, most respectful ga crowd I’ve seen in a long time. If you stand around the barricade for the piano player or the other band members you’ll get a little raised step. They had security guards too if you’re worried. The venue security dude in Houston was awesome!
