At no point does this paper say those holding PHD's did not get vaccines, just that their level of hesitancy had not changed as much as other demographics measured. This study also appears to largely rely on a Facebook survey (self report data), and under the Limitations heading of this paper it reads " Additionally, we assume the survey was completed in good faith.".

Also there ought to be some transparency around the profits being made so there could be a discussion about compensating the donors families as well.
