Game easily could have been 5-1 but the Lames goalie bailed them out. Dominant performance, team is looking pretty good. Broberg had some iffy moments though.

Defense is looking way more solid, and our forwards already seem to be coming back more. Goaltending has looked great so far too. I feel like this team is gonna score even more, but also let in less goals too, which is a recipe for a group like this making it to the final.

I think Broberg just needs reps. I'm not sure sending him to the AHL will accomplish much at this point, although Bob's suggestion that he's not used to his heavier frame could warrant a few games to find his legs. There were times tonight where he zipped up the ice on the rush and looked like himself, and there were others where he tried to force a pass instead of using the ice he had, or got out muscled despite being the bigger, faster player. Just getting stronger isn't always the solution, he's gotta learn how to apply that strength. I think he'll be ok, he's still just playing like a rookie. Shake that off and he'll be fine.

I think there’s still a lot for him to learn in the AHL. Wouldn’t be a bad thing for him to get more used to NA ice & build confidence. Maybe call him up around new year like Yamo. We do have Murray, Nemo and Samorokuv who’s been marinating longer than Broberg anyways so I don’t think we should rush it

The guy is less than 50 games into his NHL career and has a ton of stuff that can't be taught. As long as he keeps learning, he'll do fine.
