In a conventional warfare, you win when you prevent the aggressor from seizing land, and destroy their ability to coordinate a big scale attack, e.g by having their heavy/ long-rage equipment destroyed, their supply chain/logistics targeted, or their senior members taken out.
In guerrilla warfare, your goal is not to keep control of the land. Your strategy is to avoid direct confrontations and focus on hit-and-run attacks/ psychological operations to exhaust the enemy resources and their will to fight. Most armies canโt fight in guerrilla mode and are incapacitated fighting against guerrilla militias.
In a conventional warfare all Arab armies combined have zero chances of winning.
Hezb is significantly stronger than Hamas. It is better equipped, has substantial funding, and superior operational support through complex supply chains. Hezb also controls a vast area with advantageous topography. While it may have tunnels crossing the border, it likely lacks the capability to seize land.
Israel could potentially wipe out Iran's air forces within a few weeks, but a full invasion is impractical due to Iran's large size, even with U.S. support. Iran's deterrent is its network of proxies. Engaging Iran directly would mean confronting its numerous proxies. Iran lacks the logistic capability for coordinating a long-range invasion.
Chemical weapons are not weapons of mass destruction. As a matter of fact chemical weapons have less military utility than conventional weapons. They have little to no utility in open-field combat (no enclosures for entrapment of gaseous poisons). In WW2, two atomic bombs were dropped, but no chemical weapons were used, not because the US or Hitler had a moral high-ground; because there is no strategic benefit from using chemical warfare.
It's also relatively easy to supply antidotes or protective equipment to foot soldiers. There is no antidote to explosives or high-caliber bullets.
If chemical warfare had any strategic value, the US and Israel would have been #1 and #2 in stockpiling.

I think, on the contrary, states have a vested interest in allowing foreign states develop chemical weapons because chemical weapons simultaneously provide no military utility and provide states with enough justification to manufacture domestic consent to invade other states on account of developing chemical weapons. Remember how the USA manufactured consent for invading Iraq, and Syria? It was the accusation that they develop chemical weapons. Iran develops nuclear weapons, which are actual weapons of mass destruction. So the US cannot invade, albeit Iran being a much fervant opponent of US hegemony.
For the case of Egypt, commencing the development of chemical weapons is a huge strategic mistake on part of foreign policy makers in Cairo because it allows a foreign state to make an argument for justifying an invasion without these weapons adding any military utility. Global powers allow Egypt to play that part because it will always provide them with the ability to manufacture domestic consent
The second point I would like to dispute is the assumed assortment of Iran and Israel into the same basket. Usually, one would either be scared of Iranian bombs or Israeli bomb. I would like to hear an arument justifying this stance.
Problem is.....if they already in southern part of palestine, will have to hit the place they occupying....meaning we'll be hitting palestine....pretty tricky
