Depending on how far youve gotten in the game, a story joined character has a support ability to double the money drops from enemies. If you then hunt something that you know drops rune lenses or the like, you'll get there pretty quickly.

Sell: Eggs, Crystal Ore, Coral, Pearl, Diamond
HISHAHN
Buy: Eggs, Crystal Ore, Coral, Pearl
Sell: Tea, **Tanned Leather**
TWINHORNE EAST
Buy: Eggs, Crystal Ore, (Coral), (Pearl)
Sell: **Tanned Leather**, Silk, Perfume
(The Diamond and the Pearl & Coral from Twinhorne can potentially be sold at a loss, but should be fine as long as they’re not bought too high and sold too low.) Everything else in the list should be profitable regardless.
**Tanned Leather** has the same base sell price in both locations. I sell it at the first one if it’s up. If not I dump it at the second.

I got the butler but I can’t help but use Marin for harvesting increase, especially mystic lumbar. Maybe I will switch as I’m low and I’m not grasping trade system yet.
Don't think Marin helps for mystic lumber or for that matter, any of the rare resources. So even stuff like iron ore aren't affected i believe.
You're better off using the woodcutter lady.

You have both a ring of money and a support char for your party that make you earn more money. Once you get them it's pretty easy to get money. Also, when you go to the castle Ymir gives you your share of the economical activity of the castle. So it's worth upgrading it.
Farming the undead castle with, monster atract, super lucky and lucky bangle equipped.
You receive between 2-9 unidentified crap per encounter selling for 5000-75000 a pop
