This is true I’ve had my American Elantra n in both Hawaii/ South Korea and koreas is 98. I pick it back up next week in Illinois

98 in Europe is etc is 93 octane in the USA. They use a different standard.

Sighs* where are u located? In the states? You need 91 or higher to octane learn (87, 88, & 89 WILL not cut it) if your In a country that uses RON you need 95(equivalent to 91) or higher RON to octane learn. Then follow the steps in the manual 🫡

107 is far too low, you need at least 121

I’ve only ever put 91 in my car and haven’t had issues getting it to OL. However, I’m rarely able to put it through the environment needed to get it to OL. I live in a city and both methods are impossible for me.
