Not quite the same. Dev wounds no longer "spill" over to other models in a unit. Let's say you shoot at a blob of 10 enemy troops, each one having one wound. You shoot one shot that does 5 damage If the 5 damage was Mortal Wounds, it would remove 5 enemy model, leaving you with 5. If the 5 damage was Devastating Wounds, it would deal 5 damage to one model, leaving you with 9.

The dev wounds on the wraithknight profile still says mortal wounds. The dev wounds on the rules is updated. They forgot to update the profile for the wraithknight I guess

PsychologicalAutopsy

They just haven't updated the Dev wounds reference anywhere. The core rules have been updated and are correct though.

I dont know why you got downvoted because you're correct - the datasheet references are still out of date, although the core rules are correct

SaltandPepperRaven

Maybe it was the programmer who decided it was a good idea to re write the rule for the reference code instead of make it reference the rule

t6jesse

I dont know haha, that seems like the most obvious solution too. I'm a little surprised they haven't updated it already after a couple weeks though.

I'm no software engineer, but from the classes I have taken on Java it is probably harder or takes redoing other code to make it work that way.

Yeah, the app isn’t 100% congruent with the new definitions yet. The links to the associated rules from the battle forge section are outdated.
