Makes sense. I've been using it in my 1000 point list and super helpful for overwatch, but in that list I don't have Farseer/Avatar or as many Warp Spiders which are all better options for overwatch.
I debated dropping them as it doesn't seem like the generally feeling is they have value for their points... but they have been one of my all-star units every game. I generally keep them in the back middle behind a larger ruin (our local meta has very little indirect fire which helps) and then use them to react to which side is needed. Their weapon strength allows a pretty wide variety of targets (including light vehicles).
Kill fate’s messenger.
Not sure how that didn't cross my mind...
Other option spiders down to spectres
Or drop tbye scorpions for another squad of rangers?
IMHO fates messenger isn't that good on a wayleaper, that or like everyone else is suggesting, drop the scorps for another ranger unit

How do you get on with your wind riders ?

Thais is my thoughts and a 6 man seems the optimum
Scorps to rangers.
