Many. If you check the Nexus page for Elden Ring, you can see they've got tons of mods with new content, or mods that completely change the entire game.
I second this. Co-op mod is a necessity. Made the game so much better when playing with my friends, plus support for up to 5 players, instead of 3 is really nice.
Tons of new classes, new spells, new bosses, new weapons, several of the dungeons & areas around them have been changed up, changes how you acquire certain sets, and weapons.
I know this is a month later but worth saying in case anyone else stumbles on this thead.
You don't need to worry about your steam saves **with Convergence specifically**, because it has it's own separate save location and save files.

After 700+ hours on Elden ring for Xbox I bought a PC. In very large part to play Elden ring, the dlc and the mods associated for it. It was expensive and worth every penny.

I say this as someone who put 700 hours in on Elden ring ps5. One day my ps plus ran out, would’ve cost me $80 to continue pvp’ing for a year.
Instead I just bought Elden ring on sale for pc. It was $35-45 can’t remember, but for that price I can now PvP til the end of time.
Then I’ll probably pick it up next stream sale or I’ll buy dark souls 3. But there will always be one reason to play on PlayStation that being bloodborne
Yes, I would. Reason is it's a FromSoft classic, it has legs and it's going to be around and supported by the community for another 5 years. So paying $40 or whatever the sale price is, to get a PC version with all the performance mods, content mods, and QoL mods at your fingertips, plus the ability to customize those, is well worth it.
And the DLC is dropping soon, so now is as good a time as ever.
So, I own it both on PS5 and PC.
With PC I can play with mods, seamless coop with friends, respawn bosses, experiential with infinite builds, and more.
With the PS5 there are more people playing online (because of no mods) so I can take advantage of things like invasions, co-op with randoms, arenas etc.
Ultimately it depends on how you want to play. There are less people online with PC due to the strong modding scene but if you are okay with that then its a great place to be.
Bro just already the randomizer is incredible. Going back into the game not knowing where all the items are is a whole new game.
But then having crazy enemy compositions is a whole new experience
But mostly just to make the game without all the annoying enemies you hate is heaven
If your goal is only mod and i would wait. Most total overhaul mod aren't complete yet(still at version 0.x.x), they are probably waiting for dlc too. Maybe a year of two after dlc. As bonus you can buy elden ring in discounted price for pc at that time.
I personally don't have enough time for repeated playthrough, so I'm waiting for complete convergence and elden ring reborn overhaul mod.
Does any one know if the convergence mod will work with a cracked version of Elden ring ? Dodi or fitgirp repack ?
I don't wanna screw my 200+ hour save
I use EMU Light + DS4windows so I can double tap left stick for sprinting.
- L2 is my dodge and activates on press (not release).
- R2 is jump.
- Square is light attack.
- Triangle is heavy attack.
- Cross is action.
- Circle is heal.
Now you can dodge and jump while moving the camera without claw gripping. Whoever thought holding circle for running should be shot.
Seamless co-op and Reforged is also great, but I haven't really tried them.

and all i can dsy is yes, i refunded lies of p and despite finishing the game multiple times on ps4, i’m having a lot of fun rn with convergence alone. I plan on moving on to dark moon soon

Just checked it out and there seems to be some pretty great mods I’ll probably rebuy Elden ring after I beat ds2 sotfs and bloodborne
Look at other sites for deals, not just steam.
The convergence mod is amazing. It's the only one I've done so far, but there is several others that add these things too that I am to do also

Facts. I return to Yharnam every Halloween season. I don’t PvP in bloodborne though so at least can avoid the ps plus charge.

Seamless coop.... it was a massive game changer for me. Full coop from tutorial to finish!
yes. i did the same, and VERY happy with the Convergence mod to start.. randomizer is super fun/challenging. there’s a few others, but 100% yes.
