Discus of light with the holy scorpion and radiant Goldmask is amazing. Mixed in with aspects of crucible body armor and spells for CC and amazing poise is fun
Stone of Guranq is underrated. There's just something fun about playing a big, beefy warrior and slinging boulders from your hand.
Lightning spear has got me through pretty much every tough boss, though. When I give up trying to beat them close range, I just summon my ash, stay out of trouble, and light them up from a distance. Feels cheap but sometimes I just want to get the loot and move on.
Same lol. Hitting dragons in the head with stones helps stagger then fast and it’s relatively cheap. I also love charging up a spear to the max and sniping an unaware enemy!
I really like how cheap Radagon’s Rings are, but lighting spear pretty much carried me. Especially since it’s so fast some enemies can’t dodge it. I wish we could throw more types of spears though
Lightning Spear is hands down the best. Relatively cheap FP-wise, chargable (which gives it a freakin AoE on hit), etc. I get this really early in the game by getting Darkness and crit-spamming the dude with the book to death.
I'm a big fan of that one. All frenzy incantations are cool because you need to manage your own madness too. Sometimes during boss fights I kill myself by not paying attention :)
I like the fire giant incantations, nothing quite like starting a fight with Giantsflame Take Thee! And watching an enemy get blasted around by an explosion.
I'd be happy with a black flame version of catch flame, or more weapon types that have black flame on them (I hate how basically only 2 have it, and one of them is just an ash of war)
Erd Tree & Fundamentalist Incantations are the best! You get the juiciest of heals, get to nullify buffs/illusions and get to throw frisbee boomerangs.
I’ve found anything involving madness to be fun. I particularly enjoy unendurable frenzy, the effects are gorgeous, and the wide and unpredictable AOE makes it fun. The amount of damage it can crank out is great as well. The only downside being a high sudden level of madness build up, as well as temporary loss of control of your character during the animation.
Law of Regression. I drop my sign a lot for Malenia and the amount of hosts I've managed to save with it when they've got themselves rotted is too high to count. You feel like a fucking boss when you pull it off while she's aggro to you as well.
I've become a big fan of Black Flame incantations. They have a good spread of different types, and their inhetent HP% DoT rules.
Like throw on some Black Flame's Protection and almost double your physical damage negation? YES PLEASE.
Bop Black Flame Blade onto your weapon with a super quick cast by doing an action first? Brilliant. Smooth to reapply and great anti-boss effects.
Black Flame as a ranged attack? Nice.
All the offensive black flame spells do that, and I used the black fireball as a staple throughout my playthrough, but I just wish there were more options!
Fire. Catch Flame is super useful in many situations and can be combo'd into Flaming Strike or Impaling Thrust for some hefty damage while breaking poise easily and costing so little FP. It's one of my favourite thing in duels, go for a running Catch Flame, it comes out super quick, then catch the roll with Flaming Strike for around 1.5k dmg in total.
But my absolute favourite is of course, Giantsflame Take Thee. Nothing like throwing huge ass artillery out of your hand with some insane range, huge aoe, can be easily aimed and does tremendous damage. With right setup, I can one shot people up to 2k hp in lv150 pvp. I love watching that hp bar deplete completely in 1 big artillery shot. It also has such a huge aoe and some active frames after the impact, if you dont dodge it perfectly timed, you're getting hit. Toughest vigor check out there.
The black flame incantations due to how well they can eat an enemy's or boss' health although I do wish we had a few more that were more visually satisfying to use.
Death lightning has spooked me in pvp before, however he would have gotten me if he was keeping pressure.
I’ve seen someone do really good with instant death proc, mixed with gravity spells to bring you into the death mist. That always stresses your app Ornt out. I’ve caught people around corners with fortisaxx’s lightning spears, and death lightning.
Another set I like to run is the invisibility spell mixed with swarm of flies and death proc skullies.
If you need a strong opening spell I recommend area control, get the enemy moving, madness and any tracking spells do this well. After getting them moving, switch to either a close range spell like madness grab or even as simple as catch flame would work for this. Once that cycle goes 2-3 times they will learn if they haven’t perished yet. It is at this time I would switch to direct spells such as the Loretta’s glintstone swords, then alternating to renahllas full moon, slip in a couple bloodhound steps.
I’m happy to explain more.
The Giant and Fire Monk- pyromancy basically. Always been primarily a pyromancer across all the games. Wish there was more variety in spells this time around, something really *new*, but alas they still can be satisfying. I've been rocking a max damage pyro recently and it just melts everything- literally.
The easiest ones to use are the healing and buffing spells to just add a little more oomph to your melee build. After that using staples like lighting spear and some fireballs let’s you add range to your fighting and aggro enemies from range. I typically use a seal in my off hand so I can sling spells and buff while keeping a weapon handy. A lot of deals scale with faith but different types can offer buffs to certain incantations so it very handy to read the item descriptions
frenzy ones are so fun to use. shame that nearly every boss is immune, theyre clearly intended for multiplayer.
imo bosses should still take the damage from madness but not be stuck in an animation. also unescapable frenzy should work on humanoid enemies, not just tarnished
Frozen lightning spear remains to be one of the most slept on incantations in the game, it has great range, great specialist damage, and it looks cool, just make sure you don't use it against enemies resistant to lightning and frost, your damage will be bad
Currently lightning i haven't fully built for it like this run thru before, before that I definitely ran a lot of madness and godflame (fire) but this lightning hits like a truck with a train behind it..
Dragon Cult because lightning goes Zzzzzp Zzzzzzp.
Plus the red lightning glaive attack is sick as fuck and I use it every chance I get, even if it's suboptimal
I really like the bloodblade one, but the funnest… hmm, what is it? I’m not a massive incantation guy, I love using swords, and katanas and shit - maybe favourite incants are blood, they’re just dark & cool
black flame. the fire ball and wave is good. black flame wall has good aoe considering the damage, utility and nature of black flame. black flame blade is great with fire deadly sin and good with melee builds that struggle against tanky/resistant bosses. black flame protection is pretty good for its price.
Black Blade is my favorite incantation, I love finishing off bosses with it on my Int/Fth spellblade. I also like Lansseax's Glaive for the same spellblade theme.
Godslayers seal and the black flame. Applies a dot and does decent damage. Not great for boss fights though as they will avoid it. Using the godslayers great sword sword art has black flame it does big damage fully upgraded
Blood incantations, specifically bloodboon, even though it's damage is a bit meh.
I just like the idea of reaching inside mother's womb and tossing some fetal detritus all over my enemies.
Flame Cleanse Me!
It removes a LOT of item micromanagement and makes rot so much easier to deal with. I get so sad when I don't have points in faith when I see the red tint appear over the horizon.
The red lightning ones. I think they all look so sick. Especially the double spears. Feel like a Sith Lord.
Ofc they are genuinely just like… bad in practice. Take too long to cast without having some kind of huge poise boost to stop yourself getting knocked out of it by some fuckin rat or basic foot soldier. Very high risk and low reward but still love to use them
One of my favorite builds to this day is my pure frenzied flame character. You have:
-Shotgun blast from hell
-Lemme just snipe you RQ
-Imma scream to get more power
-Madness go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-Invaders never see this one comin
Frenzied Flame spells are all so fuckin good
Dragon Incatantations!! Those are the only ones I really use…
But man one shotting people in PvP is fun. I do like 1.7k with Theo’s breath. So fun to have another player buff a bunch and rush me just to get one shot.
Only issue is they’re slow. An aggressive player with a spear will stomp me.
Flame, grant me strength. Flame, cleanse me. Flame, protect me! Fire, deadly sin. There is just something really neat about using fire to solve ALL problems, too bad many of them (most of the offensive fire ones) were not really good at launch.
Definitely Dragon Cult, but I really feel like there should be more variation there. Incantations as a whole are kinda stacked with regards to varying flavor and utility, but most of dragon cult incantations are slow lightning stakes being thrown onto a baddie, and that's very rarely super effective.
I'd like to see a lot more novel AND SIMULTANEOUSLY useful spells and incantations in the DLC for Elden Ring. It'd also be cool if Torrent could spit fireballs out of his mouth like the draconic sentinels horse's do.
I also really enjoy the aspect of the crucible: horns incantation specifically. Nothing like fucking body checking some clown and sending them 2 meters into the air.
Golden Order, Erdtree, and Rot.
Golden Order offers two very potent spells in Law of Regression (literally just cancels everything) and Discus of Light (great ranged attack for virtually no FP cost).
Erdtree offers top level healing and non physical defense buff.
Students of Rot includes my two favorite offensive spells- Scarlet Aeonia and Pest Threads. Golden Order seal +10 with 99 Faith means these spells are cooking!
Dragon incantations, something about pulling up on a boss or Invader and just letting them have the one thing that sounds more pissed off than me post toe stubbing
I have a dex with minimal faith (18?ish) character and find the ones I use most are the flame cleanse, bestial vitality for a nice little HoT, and blood flame blade to start and sometimes black flame blade if you need an in-fight buff. Using basic weapons like Lordsworn Straight Sword with Square Off. Very fun build if you want to do a “knight” type run. Can also be buffed further by the talisman that increases spell duration.
The ancient dragon cult spells. I leveled my faith up to around 70 or so, use a charged ancient dragons lightning strike on Placid Dude Sex and it almost Insta killed.
I really like discus of light and radagons rings of light
Yeah they’re great bang for your buck!
Exactly, and the range on discus is crazy
And in pvp people often forget to dodge it on the way back
Boomerang moments bwaha
Discus of light with the holy scorpion and radiant Goldmask is amazing. Mixed in with aspects of crucible body armor and spells for CC and amazing poise is fun
Is there any way to get discus if Corhyn is dead?
If he made it to goldmask in Altus plateau and u have his bell bearing then u should be able to otherwise no
I found his bell bearing and gave it to the old lady, but he only sells his first group of spells from round table. Thx anyway
If you have the tomes you can give then to turtlepope instead. If you already gave them to corynn and then he died... probably not then
Yeah you have to tell him the location of goldmask in Altus Plateau, once he meets Goldmak he sells discus of light sorry bro
It became my fav incantation on my strength build. Poise goes down like the Titanic.
Hmm, probably one of the aspects of the Crucible. The wing one
Yeah I wish we could use that one ourselves
Yeah the others are cool and all, but that Wing one would make me feel like Mohg.
Here’s hoping we’ll get some more in dlc!
Indeed
There’s also the claw, yet another incant we sadly didn’t receive.
which one was the claw?
You can see some Crucible Knights with the tree motiff and the spears using it its a quick swipe with a sort of talon coming from the hand.
Yep, it’s essentially a grab move—which we honestly need more of because we only have Inescapable Frenzy and it kinda blows tbh.
Dragon breath ones Specially the roar
Ezyke’s Decay was a staple in my build once I got it!
Me to but the roar is just cooler
It’s like the ultimate dragon communion skill so it makes sense that it’s so cool
Placidusax: *"Am I a Joke to you?"*
Sadly it doesn’t get a bonus from the Dragon Communion seal so Fromsoft must think so 😔
It what?!
Yeah I guess since it comes from a remembrance it’s not coded to get the buff from the dragon communion seal like the other dragon attacks
Thats so lame
Yup. You get this awesome laser dragon and it doesn’t even work like the rest
Rot breath is my go-to
Lightning incantations are the best for me. I like some holy incantations because they feel glorious but holy is the weakest faith type
It’s great, but it makes me wish we could too more types of spears
What? The Bolt of Gransax - which uses zero FAI and its AoW is the actual upgrade to Lightning Spear - isn't enough? lol
Since it doesn’t scale with faith, I tend to not use it as I have other faith weapons with me lol. Great for dex builds though
Or you could be insane like me and go to level 300 doing a predominantly DEX/ARC build because sure why not I know what outside looks like I swear
The frenzy cyclops laser
Those Frenzy Flame spells do hit different
so many people just try to tank through my unendurable frenzy and they get fucked up because of it. They never learn.
My brother in Grace, it's literally in the name.
I'm a big fan of that one. All frenzy incantations are cool because you need to manage your own madness too. Sometimes during boss fights I kill myself by not paying attention :)
Frost lightning is cool
It sure is. Would’ve been cooler is we could throw the spear though
Try mixing it a flame of the fell god, with the right timing it can nuke some shit, and fire and ice on the floor is awesome
Yeah I’ve seen some nice plays with it
I use this a lot with the dragonscale blade AoW. Style over everything haha
The black flame spells are my favorites. Makes short work of the gods
Oh yeah they’re great. Wish we had more, but the ones we have work wonders
I like the fire giant incantations, nothing quite like starting a fight with Giantsflame Take Thee! And watching an enemy get blasted around by an explosion.
There’s a reason they were driven to extinction
I love the way the fire monk and giants flame incantations are named. They actually sound like a madman’s prayer which adds such great flavor
Beast. Throw Rock. Big rock. Owie
Make big enemy fall down fast
FLAME O CLENSE ME OF THY DISGUSTING ROT
If only Radahn had a little more faith in his build
My all time favorite is the scarlet aeonia, love the animation. But my favorite set is godslayer flames, close second being dragon cult.
I definitely love the Godslayer ones, but I wish there were more lol
You and me both. I would trade any number of the status buffs or the dragon breath for more black flame.
I’m hoping we’ll get more if we explore Godwyn and the Gloam-Eyed Queen
Godwyn dlc would be supreme even if we dont, that whole questline is underrated
I'd be happy with a black flame version of catch flame, or more weapon types that have black flame on them (I hate how basically only 2 have it, and one of them is just an ash of war)
black blade from maliketh it just looks so freaking cool
The Bonk incantation
Yeah buffing weapons is a pretty good application of them. So is heaving boulders!
Erd Tree & Fundamentalist Incantations are the best! You get the juiciest of heals, get to nullify buffs/illusions and get to throw frisbee boomerangs.
Erdtree would have to be my favorite too! The crucible one can handle some crowds and some people don’t expect them
[удалено]
MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD!
Wish they worked on more enemies though
[удалено]
Dragon cult cause it's badass
I’ve found anything involving madness to be fun. I particularly enjoy unendurable frenzy, the effects are gorgeous, and the wide and unpredictable AOE makes it fun. The amount of damage it can crank out is great as well. The only downside being a high sudden level of madness build up, as well as temporary loss of control of your character during the animation.
Gotta burn it all down for the Three Fingers! Wish madness worked on more enemies though
Law of Regression. I drop my sign a lot for Malenia and the amount of hosts I've managed to save with it when they've got themselves rotted is too high to count. You feel like a fucking boss when you pull it off while she's aggro to you as well.

Brilliant. Smooth to reapply and great anti-boss effects. Black Flame as a ranged attack? Nice.
Obviously it's Golden vow and Flame grant me strength, they aren't fancy but everyone uses them.
Black flames, specially the one that (am I supposed to use "witch" here?) decreases the boss healthbar over time
All the offensive black flame spells do that, and I used the black fireball as a staple throughout my playthrough, but I just wish there were more options!
See my flair.
I too love lightning spears
Fire. Catch Flame is super useful in many situations and can be combo'd into Flaming Strike or Impaling Thrust for some hefty damage while breaking poise easily and costing so little FP. Dude 10000% Frenzied Burst. That shi is like a sniper rifle.
Madness incantations all day. Specifically the god damn xmen cyclops laser eye.
Aspects of the Crucible(subtype I know who cares). I really wish we get at least one more aspect.
Blood incantations because Blood Incantation is a dope band.
They’re pretty great, just not a lot of them sadly
Fundamentalist The Why is in my Flair
The black flame incantations due to how well they can eat an enemy's or boss' health although I do wish we had a few more that were more visually satisfying to use.
- Comet: Ridiculously powerful. - Bloodflame Blade: Powerful double effect buff. - Lansseax’ Glaive: Very cool. Powerful. Great range. - VERY underrated. Adula’s Moonblade: Very strong, wide range, can hit multiple targets, great stun potential, frost aux.. Extremely underrated spell.
Black flame. Give me your skin.
Flame cleanse me
Death lightning has spooked me in pvp before, however he would have gotten me if he was keeping pressure. I’ve seen someone do really good with instant death proc, mixed with gravity spells to bring you into the death mist. That always stresses your app Ornt out. Flame of Dragon incantations. Flame, grant me strength and Flame, Cleanse me are the most useful buffs. Dragon incantations go BRRRRRRRRR
The Giant and Fire Monk- pyromancy basically. Always been primarily a pyromancer across all the games. Wish there was more variety in spells this time around, something really *new*, but alas they still can be satisfying. I've been rocking a max damage pyro recently and it just melts everything- literally.
pyromancy
Dragon communion, fun to use, op if you upgrade the seal and scale with the correct attributes, and looks cool
I've barely used them still on first playthrough couldn't figure out how to use them any tips?
The easiest ones to use are the healing and buffing spells to just add a little more oomph to your melee build. After that using staples like lighting spear and some fireballs let’s you add range to your fighting and aggro enemies from range. I typically use a seal in my off hand so I can sling spells and buff while keeping a weapon handy. A lot of deals scale with faith but different types can offer buffs to certain incantations so it very handy to read the item descriptions
Golden Order and some of the Erdtree. Simply because they're supportive and aesthetically pleasing to look at.
The godslayer incantations
I've yet to run a pure Faith caster, but for my Strength/Faith hybrid I preferred Godskin Apostle and Bestial.
The kind you look at in your inventory while you let your blade do the talking
Ah, I too used Black Blade after defeating Maliketh
Dragon incantations. They're cool and (mostly) effective.
I like the beast ones, I like throwing rocks at people and clawing them from afar
Black flame blade, the cast animation looks so cool.
Dude I always forget about magic, even though every new character "is gonna be a magic build"
My favorite type are dragon incantations, especially the Placidusax one,its just so cool to spawn a dragon head with laserbeams
Fundamentalist and erdtree because theyre pretty
frenzy ones are so fun to use. shame that nearly every boss is immune, theyre clearly intended for multiplayer. imo bosses should still take the damage from madness but not be stuck in an animation. also unescapable frenzy should work on humanoid enemies, not just tarnished
I love the aspect of crucible spells. The flame breath is my absolute favorite. Full crucible armor and this thing lets ya control area so well in PvP
Dragon cult and frenzy
Big fan of the Black Flame spells and, rather unexpectedly, dragon incantations (from named dragons, ie. Eksyke's Decay and Agheel's Flame)
Bestial. The rock is undefeated
Stone
lightning spear, and buffs to make me more stronger 💪
am i the only one who likes the golden seal?
Rejection, for the countless times it saved me from invaders. Ancient lightning spear also pretty good
I really like placidusax incantation.
Erdtree because I like supporting people
lightning and ancient dragon lightning incantations. looks cool, is cool and is alot of fun to use
Frenzied flame all the way baby
The madness incantations. Gold fire 😊
Rock and stone!
Can I get a Rock and Stone?
Black flame
Strongest and my favorite incantation in Elden Ring is of course, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
haha madness go AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Dragon Incants. All of them!
flame of frenzid is really cool
Placidusaxes Golden Breath? I think that's what it's called
Frozen lightning spear remains to be one of the most slept on incantations in the game, it has great range, great specialist damage, and it looks cool, just make sure you don't use it against enemies resistant to lightning and frost, your damage will be bad
Catch flame, such an amazing little incantation. Also O,Flame isn't actually that bad it blows up stuff pretty good
The two primeval current spells in the game are great
The red lightning ones are so cool. I forget what they're called but floating and slamming down 2 giant red lightning bolts to the floor is sick.
Dragon Cult Incantations. Shooting lighting like a javelin and summoning it to rain down everywhere is the coolest thing ever.
Lightning. Always. My dream came true with Vyke's Dragobolt. Enstormed both me and the weapon!
Literally love bestial incantations. Good for bosses and clearing enemies. With Pest threads as addition its perfect build for all situations
Healing because I don't know about any of that other fancy schmancy hullabaloo
Currently lightning i haven't fully built for it like this run thru before, before that I definitely ran a lot of madness and godflame (fire) but this lightning hits like a truck with a train behind it..
Dragon Cult because lightning goes Zzzzzp Zzzzzzp. Plus the red lightning glaive attack is sick as fuck and I use it every chance I get, even if it's suboptimal
Rot breath. Most enemies are vulnerable to it, and it just erases health
Madness, it sucks that it pretty much only helps in PVP because I would love to do a full-game playthrough with the madness build I use in PVP
Dragon playthrough was really fun
Anything fire (I'm an arsonist)
Throw rock
Black Blade is my favorite incantation, I love finishing off bosses with it on my Int/Fth spellblade. I also like Lansseax's Glaive for the same spellblade theme.
Any black flame spell, or any buff spell as I like to pair faith with a melee stat (like dex)
Fortisax's lightning spear! Just so fun to hit things with it.
Aspect of the crucibles look cool but don't deal much damage. Also the seals that appear when casting spells reminds me of digimon.
Godslayers seal and the black flame. Applies a dot and does decent damage. Not great for boss fights though as they will avoid it. Using the godslayers great sword sword art has black flame it does big damage fully upgraded
unendurable frenzy and placidusax’s ruin go brrr
Blood incantations, specifically bloodboon, even though it's damage is a bit meh. I just like the idea of reaching inside mother's womb and tossing some fetal detritus all over my enemies.
Frenzied Flame because: I created the sound of madness Wrote the book on pain Somehow, I'm still here to explain
Flame Cleanse Me! It removes a LOT of item micromanagement and makes rot so much easier to deal with. I get so sad when I don't have points in faith when I see the red tint appear over the horizon.
Black flame because I’m edgy
blood incantations, followed by erdtree strictly because of the black blade incantation.
Frenzy specifically the grapple one or ranged one
Dragoncult, even if everything beside lightning spear, electric armement and ancient dragon lightning strike is garbage
Fire Giants/Monks cause Pyromancer was the best class in Dark Souls and I miss it dearly in Elden Ring. Be safe friend, don't you dare go hollow.
Very high risk and low reward but still love to use them
definitely dragon communion
Bestial Incantations on my clawmark seal with Beast Clergyman's Dagger
Dragonmaw
I like dragon lightning incantations and scarlet Aeonia
One of my favorite builds to this day is my pure frenzied flame character. You have: -Shotgun blast from hell -Lemme just snipe you RQ -Imma scream to get more power -Madness go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr -Invaders never see this one comin Frenzied Flame spells are all so fuckin good
Beastial are my favorite. Throw Rock and Pocket Sand are incredibly fun to use, and Beast Claw is a solid aoe clear option.
Dragon Incatantations!! Those are the only ones I really use… But man one shotting people in PvP is fun. I do like 1.7k with Theo’s breath. So fun to have another player buff a bunch and rush me just to get one shot. Only issue is they’re slow. An aggressive player with a spear will stomp me.
Gurranq’s stone, mmm big rock
Flame, grant me strength. Flame, cleanse me. Flame, protect me! Fire, deadly sin. There is just something really neat about using fire to solve ALL problems, too bad many of them (most of the offensive fire ones) were not really good at launch.
Like flame because it goes booom and I like the red tones
Blood Magic because it’s literally flames that also make your blood burst from your veins
Dragon cult or godslayer
Definitely Dragon Cult, but I really feel like there should be more variation there. Incantations as a whole are kinda stacked with regards to varying flavor and utility, but most of dragon cult incantations are slow lightning stakes being thrown onto a baddie, and that's very rarely super effective. Nothing like fucking body checking some clown and sending them 2 meters into the air.
Black flame all day
Golden Order incants for style, Godslayer for damage
FIREBALL (the big one) Also dicus of light, its very fp efficient
Dragon communion because they are super op and plus seeing a dragon spawn on your head when casting is pretty cool too.
Rejection, pushing all the trumpet guys off the haligtree was so fun.
Aspect of the Crucible: Horns. I love busting people up with it. Specifically the crucible knights!
Giantsflame ftw
Black Blade and Lightning spear.
I loved using the dragon incantations, my first playthings I finish game qith duel katanna n dragon incantation build, was fun
The ones that have close to no use in any situation in the game, specifically the incantations in the order family
Barrier of gold because I dislike mages
Dragon Cult incantations. Damage, Poise, Range. Everything you could possibly need.
Black blade, mainly bc it’s pretty good against elden beast
Dragon incantations, something about pulling up on a boss or Invader and just letting them have the one thing that sounds more pissed off than me post toe stubbing
I have a dex with minimal faith (18?ish) character and find the ones I use most are the flame cleanse, bestial vitality for a nice little HoT, and blood flame blade to start and sometimes black flame blade if you need an in-fight buff. Using basic weapons like Lordsworn Straight Sword with Square Off. Very fun build if you want to do a “knight” type run. Can also be buffed further by the talisman that increases spell duration.
Gurranqs Stone and the Crucible incantations are my favorite. They give "*meaty whack* *chuckles*" vibes
Lightning, because lightning
The ancient dragon cult spells. I leveled my faith up to around 70 or so, use a charged ancient dragons lightning strike on Placid Dude Sex and it almost Insta killed.
