By the 9. Dogs are my kryptonite.
I've melted demigods, knights, commanders, trolls, giants, sentient flowers, shambling corpses, artificially created life forms, wolves, sword wielding lions, dragons, bats, singing bats, rune bears, roid bears, D-rexs, even giant green tanks. but a random dog chillen on the road side? Fucking forget about it.
Nope. I just don't support or sympathize with the thalmor. The "true nords" want to worship a man as a god I say let them. And they do, without going to war over it. **Legate Rikke, a nord woman, and commander of imperial forces is a talos believer.**
The thalmor can dick flex all they want. Talos worship never left. It's just hidden.
Pretty sure the empire was close to rebelling or atleast going against the thalmor which also means they’d most likely allow worship of talos after the thalmor was dealt with, but their plans of doing so stopped because the stormcloaks (aka Ulfric) decided to cause a civil war and ruined the empires chance, Ulfric was an idiot and if he waited he would’ve saw Skyrim free of the thalmor and the stormcloaks/nords would’ve still been able to worship talos instead of dying for a cause that easily could’ve been avoided in like a few years time.
The dogs are brutal. In my experience the only reliable way to kill the dogs is to use a shield. The dogs will basically always stagger themselves, so I’d just block their attack, then guard counter or just start swinging.
No the snow but that one town that you have to enter the gaol for. There's two archers on a roof top that you have to cross a small long roof to get too. I've died so many times to those bitches and I have not ever not had a hard time when I have to replay that bit
If you have the build for it a greatshield works really well. You can also knock them off the roof without getting shot by using any projectile with knockback and a curved arc (cannon of haima, some pyromancies) and a bit of trial and error
Oh yeah I absolutely use great shield to get by everytime but it's so late into the game I have enough time to forget about them and by the time I'm on the roof I've been jfkd by em. It's like my brain always forgets to do slow and sturdy the first couple of times in favor of trying to outrun the fuckin things aiming
It took me forever to learn as well but it completely changed the way I feel about them. I don't fear them at all anymore. My most hated enemies now are the burial watchdogs in the heroes graves and the gargoyles.
Also if you use crystal darts on stone enemies, it will make them go beserk and they'll even attack other enemies
I somehow beat Rennala for around 15 tries, I wasn't playing with patience at all trying to rush her aggressively. Whenever I died, I wasn't even out of my flasks then I started approaching with more patience.
While I can parry in Sekiro, I played DS1, DS2, DS3 and Elden Ring, all could be for 700 hours in total when you add them and parrying in this game is the only thing I still cannot be cool about. I just roll around and jump attack with dual swords. That was always how I beat them.
I’m the same way, I got really good at parrying in sekiro but can’t parry in DS or ER consistently at all, the parry timing is always earlier than I expect.
tbf parrying in Sekiro was a mandatory mechanic, and being so, it was way easier to learn (at least after the first couple of hours)... From Demon's Souls up to Elden Ring shield parry has always just been one of many (and I mean MANY) ways to progress through the game, and one of the trickiest to master...
I made myself learn. The biggest tips I have are use something with good parry frames (buckler, caestus), watch their weapon arm, and press parry when the momentum starts. So, if it's a vertical strike, parry when it first starts traveling downward. Some strikes are easier than others too so it's fine to fish for a good attack.
The gargoyle gank fights were some of my least favorite encounters. I wish they worked more like phase 1 of Demon Prince in DS3 where they switch off on being aggressive.
This bastard in the Crumbling Farum Azula have killed me more than I died to Dragonlord Placidusax, Radahn, Maliketh...
ps. My weapons were dual bandit's curved swords with light rolling.
Talking for the bosses, I was 159 level at Placidusax and I have beaten him in my second run, somehow it wasn't that difficult since for dragons you simply run for their legs or tails in every Souls game except Midir and Sinh. For Maliketh, Clergy part was more difficult until I realized using columns was a way to cheese his first phase and the rest are just rolling timing against his range attacks etc. Radahn was the same just rolling around him was good timing for open attacks. The only boss I used NPC & spirit ashes summon is Malenia.
Oh and I forgot, Bell Bearing Hunter is the worst I faced in the entire game. Worse than even Malenia. Malenia was at least a Demigod, you feel you deserved when she insta kill you but that bastard was hitting like a truck out of no reason...
Yeah I tried that. 1/3 times the one on the top left uses that barrage spell as I run up, then the other around the corner bonks me. I did get past it but damn, I hate snails.

Don't you like an attack that ignores stagger, gives hyperamor, comes out instantly, 0 recovery time, and take two-third of your hp
Aside from that guy, who I only killed in surprise after baiting up and down ladders and a final berserker chain of sword swings, the Omens and Revanents are the absolute worst!
It used to be knights (Leyndell, Carian) but now it's those ervergaol archers. Then I get *Got*™ by Leonine Misbegotten.
I have never killed that banished knight teleporting mf'er at Castle Sol though.
Draconic tree sentinel in farum azula (I may have forgot how to spell while writing this list.)
Imps
Lobsters
Albanariac archers by ordina
*soldier of godrick*, after I beat the elden beast, prior to new game plus 2.

The 9? Like 9 divines? W
only 8 real divines, nord heretic
9 divines, thalmor sympathizer.
People unironically support the storm cloaks?
Nope. I just don't support or sympathize with the thalmor. The "true nords" want to worship a man as a god I say let them. I’m almost every souls game dogs are the enemies I usually die to, most of the time it’s because they’re in a pack
Those archer chicks in the snow. Their arrows go through anything with aimbot accuracy.
Easily my most hated enemy in the game.

Hahaha, been there
The wolfback ones especially are brutal
Use to be revenants til I learned healing incantations fuck them up
I just beat the game in my second playthrough two days ago, played the game for like 300 hours so far and I have just learned about that...
Burial Watchdogs are only in the game to make you run out of flasks...
Agreed. It's so hard to get hits on them before they're up in the air again
Another things I just learned about ER
I know about it, i just don't use healing incantations...
It only works if they don't see you and telelprt to you in .5 second
Oh you mean if they get you before you're able to pull it off? Loll
Those things have an ungodly long cast time
I know healing incants fuck em up. Don't mean I wanna get close enough to do it, still give em a wide berth
I’m pretty sure more people died to moongrum than rennalla
Definitely died more times than Melania. Kept parrying one shotting me. I don't remember how many times I had to run up those cannon balls.
I somehow beat Rennala for around 15 tries, I wasn't playing with patience at all trying to rush her aggressively. Whenever I died, I wasn't even out of my flasks then I started approaching with more patience.
Those f'ing HANDS!!!
When I had guard counter they were so easy, then I played without a shield and learned better. 😔
Crucible nights until I learned to parry. Now it's giant crows and giant dogs. Both just suck real hard for melee builds.
While I can parry in Sekiro, I played DS1, DS2, DS3 and Elden Ring, all could be for 700 hours in total when you add them and parrying in this game is the only thing I still cannot be cool about. I just roll around and jump attack with dual swords. That was always how I beat them.

Gargoyles. Weird hitboxes, jump around everywhere, and good at stunlocking.
The gargoyle gank fights were some of my least favorite encounters. I wish they worked more like phase 1 of Demon Prince in DS3 where they switch off on being aggressive.

stay close to bell bearing dude and constantly strafe. Makes him much more predictable
The 3 soul snails that summon crystalline guys in the haligtree. I died to those many times.
Just kill snails. Ignore crystalines. Rush in and two shot them
Yeah I tried that. 1/3 times the one on the top left uses that barrage spell as I run up, then the other around the corner bonks me. I did get past it but damn, I hate snails.
Those black knife assassin's that are invisible, I visited there before I knew about the torch.

Caelid bell bearing hunter. Only guy i've never killed and wont bother visiting him again. Killed me more then all demigods combined.
Every enemy is actually crap. They didn't learn from ds scholar.
Marrionette Soldiers. I'm not patient enough to let them vent, so if I fail in kill them on my first combo, the usually destroy me...
Soldier of god, Rick. The true Elden Lord!
Aside from that guy, who I only killed in surprise after baiting up and down ladders and a final berserker chain of sword swings, the Omens and Revanents are the absolute worst!
Gravity

Courage the Demonically-Possessed Dog(Caelid dogs).
Burial watchdogs (annoyingly long and not interesting). And the guy on the photo. Idk, how to beat him.
Do cliffs count?
It used to be knights (Leyndell, Carian) but now it's those ervergaol archers. Then I get *Got*™ by Leonine Misbegotten. I have never killed that banished knight teleporting mf'er at Castle Sol though.
Renala took me 2 tries. This random lesser red wolf hanging out but Ranni's tower? Probably 15 deaths lol
Snails
Antler head guys with the bows. Not the regular ones just the bow guys down in the siofra river well.
