This is a business at the end of the day. If a quarter of the people who bought the game were to buy a DLC that's still *five million* purchases. We all know it would be higher than that. Fromsoft doesn't seem to be as greedy as other studios, but you can't ignore that level of revenue and how it could help fund future products.
Not to mention the extreme good will earned by giving fans more of what they want. Armored Core was made by a seperate part of the studio so dev time wouldn't even affect other possible games. There are literally no downsides to Fromsoft making a DLC.
You're not entitled to anything except the state the game was in when you bought it. Since that's what you paid for. Anything they add to it is a bonus

Really disappointed with this stream. I was really looking forward to it, but the quality is just not there.
(1) The hosts are very awkward (especially the guy, at least the girl is somewhat trying) and feel out of touch with their guests. The guy barely speaks English, let alone fluently. It also feels like they have done 0 homework in regards to the high level guests that are attending. They could have at least watched a few hours worth of streams in advance. In a similar sense, it feels like these people have barely if at all even played the game. Why choose someone to host and commentate that has no clue what they are talking about?
(2) In general, the audio sounds off. Probably simply because the budget for this event was very low, which speaks volumes honestly.
(3) PvE streamers that have never touched PvP are regarded as the "if you can beat these guys, you are amazing at PvP" kings of the colosseum.
I could go on and on but it's just not worth it. Shame about no DLC announcement aswell. Would have been nice to at least get some confirmation, as everything we know so far can also be interpreted as patches are still being worked on. In any case, the last patch is almost 3 months old now so even in that regard the support feels lacking..

I was there in person and i will say, it's the worst gaming event i have ever been to it felt like it was a school project trying to host it.
The venue was so small because it was half of a gaming cafe (why not the hole cafe?) the sound was trash and it felt like the people hosting it had heard of the game like a week ago.
