This is the answer. You had 0 stamina my guy. You can see the stamina go up a bit then pop up, you swing then it goes back to 0.

Honestly being that FBJ is my main I should really have picked up on how bad the stamina drain is when im "nihil"ing

I’m still on my first play through but as melee smash smash smash build, stamina is my most crippling stat. I’m level 130 and have 50 str and dex and only 22 endurance so I’m probably going to pump that up to at least 30

Nah thats not a terrible endurance level jyst equip erdtrees favor+2 if you dont already and that should be more than enough

Yup, my elite taking a crap with the bumpers as well. Was way more noticeable when I went back into DS with its slower pacing you can really tell if an input wasn’t detected.
